Sometimes the Part Timers r more entertaining then the full-time guys, so does not bother me

I'm not sure it's really a new thing to be honest. If you look back in time it's been happening for as long as I can remember, it's just that wrestling is so much more exposed and there's so many more shows.

I could be wrong, but back in the days of the "Big Four" PPV's, how regular a schedule did some of the Main Eventers actually work? I think a number of them would easily be considered part timers by today's standards.

And what about guys like Piper and Hogan in the New Generation years (dropping in and out while Hart and Michaels stole the show every other night), Jannetty showing up repeatedly in the early 90's from the crowd and getting a title shot, the many returns and departures of the Ultimate Warrior...I think a case could be made that while it wasn't exactly the same as the way some of the contracts are set up now, from a fans perspective was it really all that different? In some ways it keeps things fun and fresh, and while I do agree it can hurt some peoples careers, I still believe the cream rises to the top, and that hard work, dedication, perseverance and having that intangible "it" factor will always be rewarded.

The fact is they draw. The only full-timer that draws is Cena (although Daniel Bryan may join that club eventually).

I agree, I think it's really unfair and must be discouraging to a large majority of the roster. I feel really bad for guys like Kofi, Ziggler, etc. who've been around a LONG time and always get overlooked for WrestleMania.

No. If they were full time they wouldn't feel as special.

Not really no. The only problem I've had with the part timers in the last, I don't know when, is how they handled CM Punk from Rumble to Mania last year. I personally think he should have cheated to get past Rock at Rumble, lost the title at EC, and there should have been a triple threat at Mania, where Cena pinned Punk to win the title. This does 3 things; lets Cena overcome the odds LMFAO, it protects The Rock (opening the door for future showdowns with Cena or Punk), and it gives Cena the win over Punk he was never able to capture in 2012, thus setting up a potential CM Punk vs Cena 1-on-1 at Mania down the road.

But I'm not booking the show so whatever. It's awesome to see guys come in and out and it makes them feel special. Batista winning the Rumble was a mistake imo, but that situation has seemingly worked itself out to some degree. RVD, Jericho, Brock, those guys have been awesome to see back and I think their booking has been handled really well. The Rock wasn't coming back for anything less than the main event, and judging by the buy rates, he shouldn't have either. That's why Stone Cold wants the Mania main event in order to return, which I also agree with personally. If Austin walked back through the door and said he was headlining Mania 31, I would have zero problem with it.

Now, the flip side to that argument is that WWE has been extremely reliant on that talent at the expense of their own full time talent. New talent will never be as good as old talent if you don't position them as stars, which I truly believe WWE has failed to do during the John Cena era. Just my opinion, but Cena should be used to raise guys up to his level, which I'm hoping is the case with Bray Wyatt. WWE overreacts every single time John Cena leaves TV imo. I think Bryan being the focal point Monday and getting a good rating is a nice sign. Not something WWE can count on yet but it's a step forward.
