Damn I really wish Bray was the next designated "top guy" Bray could be the closest thing we get to a new Undertaker... Never "the man" but he could be around the top of the card for another decade or so, evolving his character along the way. I completely agree. He's clearly a guy, that like Taker, doesn't need the title to stay relevant

Roman Reigns has always been SAWFT. All hype. To go along with his soft physique. Anyway, this is actually where the discussion should've ended, 'cos Reigns is nothing but hype - hype he hasn't lived up to. He's been the weak link of the SHIELD from day one. As for the idea of him headlining WM 31... what a joke... and against Lesnar to boot? I can only imagine how bad that match would be. Punk couldn't even get a decent match out of him. On another note, reading through both this thread - and the other one (which was prematurely locked, IYAM), the concensus on Reigns seems to be that of "at least he isn't Cena".... which leads me to believe that people are perfectly happy to be fed crap, just as long as it's fresh crap. Oh, and as for the "you don't like him 'cos he's not an indie darling" rubbish... him not being an "indie darling" has nothing to do with it - Reigns is simply not very good, and that's all there is to it, and some people are able to recognise this, while others clearly aren't. Wyatt is not an "indie darling" and he's ten times better than Reigns. Barrett another 'non-indy' guy is better... hell, I'd even take Ziggler over Reigns. Anyone with a clue, knows that both Ambrose and Rollins are better than Reigns - they just happen to have spent some time on the indies. It's no coincidence that all the elite talent to arrive in recent years, like Punk, Bryan and now Zayn and Neville, have an established indy background. Maybe if Reigns had worked the indies, he wouldn't be as bad as he is, but then again, he probably would because he just doesn't have the natural skill, talent and ability of a Punk or a Bryan. He just doesn't have "IT", as far as I'm concerned. All Reigns has is a decent look, and his family connection to Dwayne. People don't like the one they're gonna push. Obviously. REBELS. THE MAN CAN'T HOLD EM DOWN. Because as per usual, the "one they're gonna push" is mediocre at best, and some of us can actually see that. Nothing to do with being a "rebel". They always pick the wrong person to push. Thanks to him my girlfriend now has a thing for Samoans. Flabby Samoans?

But...WWE will go with the majority(fans in attendance, merch sales, executive opinions) and not a minority(a few opinions off of wfigs). And the majority says that Reigns is over and they like him True, but that's now. We're talking years from now if Reigns is supposedly the next big star. A huge majority of fans loved John Cena a decade ago, nowadays? Not nearly as much. Cena still gets times where whole buildings are booing his ass out of the arena. Hell, Cena gets mixed reactions in his own hometown. And why? Because WWE didn't let anything happen naturally. Yes Cena is good but they beat people over the head with it and refuse to change anything about him in the slightest. Reigns could easily head down the same path if they continue this "LOOK AT REIGNS! WHAT A BADASS! CLEARLY THE STANDOUT MEMBER OF THE SHIELD! HE'S A ONE MAN ARMY WHO'S GOING TO TAKE DOWN THE AUTHORITY SINGLE HANDEDLY!". And as I said before, not only that, but Reigns isn't Cena. How do you think Reigns would react the first time the crowd turns against him? Nowhere near as well as Cena I'm betting.

They did pick the wrong person to push, but they corrected themselves when they replaced Ambrose as the leader of the Shield with Roman. Did you fail to hear the crowd cheer for Roman more than Ambrose and Rollins during the Shield, before and after he was made the leader? Do you fail to hear the crowd cheer for Roman now? They're going with who the fans picked, and that's Roman.

Whether you believe in him or not, he is over with the majority of fans, and is getting a big push.

WWE isn't going to lose money over what a few IWC smarks think is best for their company.
Suck it up, buttercup and strap in. No one's forcing you to watch if you don't like it.

And that's when Roman started getting attention from the fans. Why? Because the WWE said "Hey everybody look at Reigns and what he can do but the other 2 can't!"

Sorry for any misunderstanding. What I'm trying to say is WWE isn't going to make business decisions that would only appease a very small percentage of the wrestling audience. Majority rules in this case. I'm really just going to sit back and enjoy. What happens, happens. Ambrose is still the official breakout star, though.

I like how people say the majority of fans prefer Roman Reigns, when ever since the split Ambrose reaction has been much louder.

Exactly. All that needs to be said has been said. This will just evolve into an argument sooner or later.
