Really disappointed that the Rollins figure is still in the old Shield attire. Overall, everything else looks great though.

Wow, another great showing. I was just talking about buying the inverted attire basic kane but there is an elite coming( although his mask should be black). Same with debut Taker, Although i will still probably get the entrance great one for the jacket. Do you guys think the head scan is somewhat identical from takers entrance great and this new flashback? I will be buying a lot this upcoming new year.

Yes, but because you prefer Jakks to Mattel, you nitpick things. You always have. How you can think this is such a big deal is beyond me, but again, to each their own. Like I said, it's not worth arguing over. Again my friend, I do not know why you bring Jakks into the mix here. You answered yes to returning the dirty glass and asking for a clean one? I nit pick because up until recently Mattel was the biggest toy manufacture in the world, Legos just past them up. So I expect a big company to be on top of their game. I look at my wrestling figures and I notice that a number of my Mattel figures have scuff marks or paint smudges. Im talking about brand new figures I purchased in store. None of my Jakks figures have scuff marks on them, unless I bought them at a garage sale or flea market. None of my Hasbro figures had scuff marks when I bought them new. None of my LJN figures had scuff marks. None of my Remcos had scuff marks. I just can not understand that you all are so accepting of these defects on Mattels. Friday I purchased LOD at TRU. My Animal figure has scuff marks on his back, on his abdomen, and the paint above his eyebrow is chipped. On top of which his beard is not painted properly. That's 4 defects on a brand new figure, in no other business can you present customers with defective products and yet no one seems to mind. I do mind. Some day someone will look at my Animal figure, see scuff marks, see chipped paint on the face and think it got that way due to play. Okay, this argument is a little ridiculous. They're prototypes, they're not meant to be 100% perfect. That's why some of them aren't even fully painted yet. If you're so annoyed with your Animal figure, you shouldn't have bought it. I've bought countless Jakks figures over the years that I took out of the packaging only to find that they had extremely loose parts, which was a lot more annoying than some small scuff mark.

Someone at Mattel needs to be pulled aside and given a stern talking to. How are you going to take a figure to a festival with multiple scuff marks on it? This Flair has a big black mark on his chest, one on his abdominal muscle and one on his bicep. This is inexcusable. This fest should be an event where Mattel takes pride in the products they are showing to the public, and those products being presented should be in the best possible condition available. I agree 100%. They need to start taking pride in there work.

That said, I want my toy to look like I played with it AFTER I played with it. Go to the store, buy a loaf of bread. You're going to eat it right? Does that mean it's cool to buy bread that looks like someone chewed it? No, the same applies to anything I buy, I want it to look new if im going to pay for something new. Also I think all of us on these forums resemble Al from Toy Story 2 in one way or another.

So you're saying the Animal that you bought on Friday had noticeable defects on the face (among others elsewhere) which you can clearly see in the package...why'd you buy it then if it's such a big deal?

I have to look over the Elites I buy very carefully, as most, if not all, have paint scuffs, rub, and other defects. It's been going on for a while with Mattel, doubt it will change since everyone seems fine with cleaning up Mattel's mess.

I never found a Yokozuna, Lawler, Booker, among others, so when I find someone I really want and it's scuffed it's so difficult to decide. If you leave it on shelves you have to keep hunting and might possibly never find the figure again. It's called quality control, Mattel is the second largest toy manufacture in the world they should have some kind of quality control in place.

If Austin, Slaughter, Trish, and Warrior are a Target series does that mean HBK, Taker, and Kane are gonna be regular Flashbacks? HBK is the first RSC exclusive for 2015. hoping the other 2 are FB's. some one said taker and Kane were for the wrestlmania 31 elite seiries is it true or not who knows but it would make sense

No this is unacceptable. Imagine that you are going to throw a party so you go and check out different banquet halls. What if when you go the halls are dirty and messy? And then the sample meals are cold or disgusting? Would you put a down payment and reserve the hall? Are you going to buy a new car that has been shown to you with all kinds of scuffs/scratches? The exhibit figures, especially at a fest/convention, should be the companys finest example of the product that will be comming out. So when a company presents something with that many scuffs it tells me that the best figure they could find had that many scuff. What can we expect from the figures they didnt choose to publicly exhibit? The funniest thing is your user name. I say that because the Wade Barret figure in the pictures also has scuffs on his torso. dude it could have happened while they were moving the figs I'm sure they won't have this in stores

In the hopes of keeping this from getting locked.... * Yea, the figure is scuffed.... a little surprising from a company that is "showcasing" new products, a new car on the showroom floor would never have a dent or a scratch..... * Transporting 60+ figures to Caroline's in NYC is probably no easy task - where are the Mattel designers based out of, California? I imagine they would be packed in some kind of suitcases, and shipped? Carried on a plane? Then brought via a taxi? Or maybe they are shipped Fed EX? I'm sure it's not easy, logistically.... * These are PROTOTYPES of toys that are mass-producted in, where, The Phillipines or something like that? I'm sure they are passed around Mattel offices for approval, changes, etc.... * While I was a little surprised to see the scuff marks too, I'm willing to cut these guys some slack.... it's just a proto. However, there have been many quality control issues with the regular line of figures, a lot of bad paint ops & stuff..... While Mattel should be looking into that - I don't think these figures are necessarily fair representations of the product issues. Can anyone tell me when/how these Basic Flair figures will be released?

That photo was taken before hand, as I was inside within two hours of the event starting or it happened after I took my photo and they rearranged their display.

I know they want to be accurate in location of the logo on the trunks but I hate how it breaks on the leg. The rf for flair.

Well after everything we've seen, if the biggest issue is a small scuff on Flair, then I guess Mattel is doing something right.
