In the hopes of keeping this from getting locked.... * Yea, the figure is scuffed.... a little surprising from a company that is "showcasing" new products, a new car on the showroom floor would never have a dent or a scratch..... * Transporting 60+ figures to Caroline's in NYC is probably no easy task - where are the Mattel designers based out of, California? I imagine they would be packed in some kind of suitcases, and shipped? Carried on a plane? Then brought via a taxi? Or maybe they are shipped Fed EX? I'm sure it's not easy, logistically.... * These are PROTOTYPES of toys that are mass-producted in, where, The Phillipines or something like that? I'm sure they are passed around Mattel offices for approval, changes, etc.... * While I was a little surprised to see the scuff marks too, I'm willing to cut these guys some slack.... it's just a proto. However, there have been many quality control issues with the regular line of figures, a lot of bad paint ops & stuff..... While Mattel should be looking into that - I don't think these figures are necessarily fair representations of the product issues. Can anyone tell me when/how these Basic Flair figures will be released? The part where you say transporting 60 wrestling figures is logistically tough made me laugh pretty hard. I've personally hauled overweight loads up and down hills in the summer. That's tough, having to ship 60 figures is a piece of cake.

It's not a scuff! It's lint on the camera lens. Whoever took the pics didn't bother to keep their camera clean. Notice how even on the Hogan figure MOC the spots change places. wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=26462&page_id=1 Notice how on the first pic the mark is almost near the right thigh cut (to our left), then on the next pic it's a little farther down the thigh. That's LINT on the camera lens, not scuff marks. Anyone who's had any training in photography knows lint when they see it. It's the cameraman's fault, not Mattel.

Yeah... I think Big Boss Man is right... Look at this pic, no scuff mark lol: It's faded .... Looks like it's been cleaned or wiped off. There's another pic near the bottom of the display photos and Flair is side on and you can still see the scuff.

God! What kind of unprofessional photographer doesn't clean off a lens? These kinds of people need to get a stern talking to for this..

Kane & Taker are the WMXXI Elites (Same as last years HBK & Bret). Bryan/Rey and HHH/Roman Reigns are the WMXXI Fantasy Matchups 2-pack. And the 4 WMXXI Basics are Rock, Hogan, Cena & HBK
Flair, Hogan, Brie & Booker T are B48

I can't believe MDT would bring a professional photographer to an event or festival who doesn't even clean off their camera lens and leads us to believe that these prototypes are scuffed up!!!
Now the only thing I can complain about is them giving Ric Flair ripped arms - at least a Jakk's balloon head would have disguised that!

Is this you? Cause it sure would be terrible if a toy lookedl ike it was played with... I agree with you Smurf, toys are meant to be played with. That said, I want my toy to look like I played with it AFTER I played with it. Go to the store, buy a loaf of bread. You're going to eat it right? Does that mean it's cool to buy bread that looks like someone chewed it? No, the same applies to anything I buy, I want it to look new if im going to pay for something new. Also I think all of us on these forums resemble Al from Toy Story 2 in one way or another. Stop making stupid comparisons, food and toys are different.

I think the Blutista is great and comes with great accessories.
Just wondering if he ever wore that jacket on TV?
I'll still display him with it on but just interested.

I didn't see these pics posted on any Mattel website. They came here first, like they always come here first at all figure events, including SDCC. Also, I'd like to see someone explain how the "scuffs" on the MOC Hogan moved to different spots from the first pic to the second pic. It's lint baby! (Not to be confused with the Christian holiday Lent, or "lend" in the past tense.)

With all these amazing figures shown, the only thing certain members can talk about are scuffs? Wow, get a grip lads! They are samples, they didn't walk into TRU and pick them of the shelves, they are mock ups of the final product, generally for the eyes of the designers etc at Mattel. Im certain your DM Hogan in Target will not have scuffs, Im certain Flair won't have a scuffed chest, don't panic, lets discuss they're awesomeness and not a couple of minor imperfections

My god. Nobody is ever happy it seems. Out of EVERYTHING Mattel showed us on Saturday, there are 3 pages devoted to a f***ing scuff mark on a f***ing prototype figure. Whether it be lint or a scuff, who cares? These aren't out yet and most of you are already acting like you own them. Sh*t happens. Its life. And Mikey doesn't have to like it all the time. But there are far more better things to complain about. Like the fact that we don't have 2 elite star dusts yet, or the boot mold on billy gunn, or the fact that Reigns' attire isn't "up to date" even tho there is not that big of a difference in his shield attire and what he wears now. Everything I just mentioned is nothing. Its trivial sh** that most of you get so caught up in. If you don't like it, don't spend your money on it. Mattel won't care because someone else will buy it and enjoy it as much as most of you b**ch about it.
