It's awkward to still play as an adult, but hey, if you can still get the enjoyment out of it and still have the imagination, enjoy your harmless fun. Better than a lot of the destructive crap adults do to have fun.
I myself tried to restart my childhood fed at age 15 and 16. Sadly, it just wasn't there anymore. Once all my friends stopped watching and my cousin, whom I shared the hobby with, moved away, it was all downhill from there. I think the best part about keeping an active fed going was having complete control over the booking. I got to gradually build guys up, I got to start rivalries with all kinds of cool stips, and just when I was running low on ideas, Jakks would release a playset like Elimination Chamber or the actual HitC, and a million creative ideas came to mind.
It's fun while it lasts. And honestly, managing all these different feuds and rivalries and trying to be attentive to the positions of guys on a card helped me micromanage things later in life.

I do it from time to time, not as often as I used to though. I'm 15 and the way I see it, if you like it then why stop? Do what you enjoy.

I don't play with figures anymore. I really haven't since I was about 16. My brother and I had a Fed that started right about when jakks took over the line.
My bro and I would play for hours. He'd have his click of guys he'd look out for and push and I'd have mine.
We'd split the book on most stoylines and matches, build guys we'd both agree on, create monsters to feed to your top babyfaces and so on...
One of the cool things about it was that it wasn't really predetermined...
We'd flip a coin before each important match and the win goes to whoever would win the toss. It made things interesting to say the least.
It created some unlikely champions. There were some guys that you really didn't want to win the big one but the coin just loved them.
Good times.
I can't wait for my son to be old enough. We'll revive my Fed then.
But back on subject, somebody said earlier that it's awkward to play with figures as a grown man... I agree.

Do what makes you happy. It's a fact of life. If I had the time I would play a lot, but alas, I have a handful of spare figures that I keep in a box and occasionally have a good scrap with

I don't pass any judgement on those that do, but I was in my mid teens when I stopped, and it never really felt right since.

I'm 15 and play with my figures and plan to not stop anytime soon. They are like the video games but you can be even more imaginative for example I played del rio v rey v ultimate warrior in an elimination tables match something that will never happen.

When I was a child I used to have a whole federation planned out with champions, an arena, and shows with an elaborate music set up all kept in a notebook. Then I remember I wanted to do an ECW Invasion storyline and it became ECW only with Sabu reigning as ECW champion for a while. I think I ended it sometime around when I turned 15? 16 at the latest? I started to realize I had less time and it started to have less meaning. I wanted to do a pic fed but I lost the time to do that by the time I could afford a camera and such. Time is cruel. All of the things you love, you lose to time.
That being said, when I'm bored and have nothing else to do, I'll mess around. I'll grab two figures from my desk and have a match or something. I bought a ring just for that purpose. Some things never leave you.
I will say I laughed pretty hard at "I'm 15 and I'll never stop!" Hey I said that once too. and while I never truly stopped as I said I still do from time to time, you just run out of time man. Don't sweat the small crap.

I collect my figs and display them like your granny would display her ornaments! But if you wanna recreate a match who cares if you're 5 or 50. Go for it!

Yeah, im a collector not wanting the loose figs I do have displayed getting all scratched up. (my mattels are all MOC tho) If 'playing' includes tinkering with placement of figures or moving things around/dusting off the shelf. I do that especially when I need to make room for a new addition but playing as in playing and banging them around. No way. To each their own.
