Mets pitchers should throw over Alceides Escobar's head with the first pitch of the game from now on Might as well. Lord knows no one in the media will look negatively on a starting pitcher openly targeting the head area of a player. I mean, unless it's specifically the Royals doing it. Otherwise, it's just asserting your dominance or whatever bull**** was being spewed last night.

If that would have been Ventura last night throwing up and in the media would be talking how he is a loose cannon head hunter that should have been thrown out of the game immediately and suspended for the rest of the series.

Has anyone seen Daniel Murphy? Someone remind him his going to be a free agent. The Mets should just give him a 2 yr/$28 million Take it or Leave it Offer. They have some real 2B coming up in their farm.

Rooting for the Royals to finish it off since my Cardinals are long gone.

The Mets blowpen gave Kansas City its first World Series championship since 1985. Mariano Rivera at 46 would've slammed the door shut on the Royals in game 1, game 4 and tonight if he was on the mound.

Just realized that Murphy looks just like Kurt Cousins.

it must really suck as a baseball player to know that you've lost the world series, but you still have to play another 1/2 inning

Congratulations to the Kansas City Royals. They played like a team that had a chip on their shoulder after losing World Series game 7 last year and also like it was their last chance at a championship.

Mets are never going to win the World Series in my lifetime. Why did I have to grow up a Mets fan.

Remember when I said the Royals would win?
Well I did.

Was pulling for both since I didn't have a dog in the fight and it had been 29 and 30 years respectively. Congrats, KC.

I have been a lifelong Royals fan and was only 22 months old in 1985 when they last won the World Series so this is great. This is something at times over the last two decades looked like it was never going to happen.
