I haven't posted much on here, but the little bit that I have, I notice almost everyone opens their figures to display. When I started collecting a few years ago, I had the idea to keep them packaged and one day get signed. That being said, I only buy the figures that I plan/want to get signed. I'm curious as to how many people here actually keep their figures packaged and display them that way vs. how many open them up and display the figures themselves.

I have a set of a few figure sin MOC. Just because I don't want to open them because they look too nice in the MOC form. The others I open and keep in a bookshelf displayed. I have about 15 still in package that are lined up on top of my dvd shelves which takes up one wall. Added a pic of the display of loose figures.

Both ways but that will more that likely change once I move into a house soon...most likely I will open almost all to display except for a select few...

Yeah I've seen people get very creative with the way they display their opened figures. I agree with what GoldLust said, some of the packaging looks too nice to open up.

Out of packaging, the figures are in front of their boxes. That will change soon though, I'm running out of space to have em out of box, probably will put them back in their box and display them like that.

I don't display my moc collection. It's all kept in storage. My loose collection is in a pile on my sons floor. I keep the accessories in a bag. The godfather has joined dm flair as my only loose figs I display. They are both on my dresser. I'm not sure yet if he will stay there or go in the pile. Rick rude will be on display for sure.

I have mine displayed on shelves. I need to get more as I'm running out of room.

That will be exciting, fun and painful also I've been opening a number to trim down on space in my current abode starting with damaged and worn boxes. I started a little late, so I've gotten a number of those from sellers. Some I display and some I've been bagging in ziplock bags and storing in totes for later display when I move.

I have a collection of both MOC on my wall and loose. I can say 100% I prefer my loose collection to the MOC. You get to really appreciate every minute detail when they're displayed and posed, rather than inside a cardboard box.

I wait to display mine after I've gotten them signed and put them in BallQube cereal boxes.

take them out of the packaging and throw them in boxes, so technically loose in box.

Once in a while, I will walk over to my MOC collection but it's not the same where I can touch them and pose them. In the long run, my MOC collection may disappear or just be for the exclusives and DM.
