I apologize if this is the wrong section for this kind of topic, but I'm curious: Does anyone ever have an off season for collecting figures? Like if none of the current figures interest you and you have all of the older figures you want, or you have to tighten the belt for financial reasons.
I ask because, aside from the upcoming preorders, I'm taking a break from collecting seeing as I have most of the old figures I want without paying a king's ransom and only a few figures coming down the pike interest me (Which I either preordered already or are waiting for proto pics/actual release to make a decision). The only wrestling-related expenditure I can see myself doing anytime soon are some Ringside ropes to replace the ultra loose classic ropes or ring aprons/canvases if I want a Nitro/Rumble ring. Other than that, I'm saving my cash for a bit (Unless I see the Heenans/HoF 3 at a reasonable price)
What about you guys? Have you ever taken an off season or are in the midst of one?

No offseason until I track down E6 Hardy
Cheap plug: if anyone is selling one with or without shirt hit me up

Depends on what the current and future lineups look like, but after seeing the rumored E42 and E43 lineups there won't be an offseason for me to start 2016.

I guess with me being a flashback collector and needing only one attire of a current star (Though I have at least 4 versions of Shawn Michaels from The Rockers to the Attitude Era), it's easier unless it's a current guy I'm a fan of (Finn Balor). For instance with E41, the only figures that tickle my fancy are Balor, Kid, and maybe Funk, but I haven't preordered any because I don't know what they look like (Except Balor, but then again paint apps)
Things may change when E42/43 are announced.

I never have an off season, but there are times where it slows down big time for me. It all depends on who is coming out and when.
Like if there is a bunch of flashbacks coming out at one time, then it's game on! But if its a lot of the current roster, I don't care to buy.

I'm going through an off season, the last elite I got was elite 38 D-Bryan, I just don't get the buzz anymore once I buy them. I totally passed on elite 39, but I'll definatly get the 123 kid when he comes out. I'll keep on collecting the odd one here and there, but I'm gonna start collecting money aswell.

I'm going through an off season. This last year I didn't collect as much as other years. How many more Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett figures do I need? I would like new characters over so many of the same ones over and over. That's why I'm in an off season or year.

I really don't have a "season" to begin with. I maybe buy one to four figures a year now days. And most of them retro or Undertaker specific figures anyways.

My past "off seasons" came around When E20 hit and when E27 hit. I regret it now because I missed out on some figures I want now. Try not to have off seasons anymore LOL

Even when I think I'm all caught up and satisfied, I find something new I want. Currently on the hunt for an Elite MVP and Matt Hardy. This obsession never ends.

I just started collecting recently, I don't see an off season anytime soon. There's many old figures I want to get and of course I have to keep up with the current figures I like
