Hi all, an auction that ended on the bay this afternoon turned out to have 3 unreleased WWF LJN prototypes of the bendies line.. and a 4th Captain Lou Albano that is different. the 3 prototype bendies were in ads but were never released..they have now been found and sold... I was NOT lucky enough to get it.. but felt a post here would be good.. surprised not to see one since it ended like 10 hours ago! Terry Funk Tito Santana Don Muraco Captain Lou Albano (different than released one and the ad one)

^ looks like it started around 19.99 and 2 big bidders went at it at the last second and shot up to $350ish

Very interesting! The seller must not have used an appropriate auction title for these guys. I've been searching the LJN bendies for the last week -- trying to find myself a cheap Heenan -- and never came across this auction. I also can't find it in the sold auctions either. Awesome find though.

It's madness...
What kind of person has that amount of rare treasure, doesn't know what they have and fails to advertise/name it properly.
... Just madness.

Indeed; madness...
Man, I'd love to own that Muraco! However, there are 2 Funks in there, so maybe there's at least 2 of the others too!!!

the fact that there's a Bundy just thrown in is hilarious since he's one of the rarest bendies around.
chances Bundy, HBJ, and JYD are also protos?

Found it. Damn, if I still ran my usual searches daily I would have seen and stolen this.

Seeing rare figures like this in random lots is crazy, but must be awesome for the buyer. The other day I saw a Rowdy Piper Eraser Figure tossed in an auction of random bendies and thumb wrestlers. Same type of scenario where the auction title didn't help at all. Great find.

Those prototype bendies surely would fetch a couple grand in my opinion. Just not enough words to describe what kind of deal that buyer got. Title key words make ALL the difference in the world.
