It delivered despite the poor build up. One of the better produced WM in my opinion

I really am getting sick and tired of being trolled every single time I'm watching this product now. You can't even use the excuse that Vince is just doing this because he knows the kids and women love Reigns.....he just let Roman Reigns retire one of the top 5 performers in the history of the business....whom 80% of the audience he's selling Reigns to have barely an idea of what he's done (Undertaker). And all this while continuing Roman's position as the Top "good guy" in the company. That was an absolute GIGANTIC " you" to every single person that is against this Reigns crap, who pays for the Network, who supports their other favorite wrestlers, who watches the weekly program, and who. They are continuing to just troll everyone at this point. And nothing is ever going to change. I don't even know what to do about this anymore. But I know that it's gone way past the point of humorous. I legitimately cannot stand Reigns anymore. They have absolutely turned my stomach on this guy. They have given him more in the last 3 years than almost anyone ever. They are forcing this guy into the biggest moments and the biggest situations completely going against the fans because they KNOW how pissed off they are. They really are just setting up Reigns to main event his 4th Wrestlemania and take the title from Brock cementing him as the single greatest wrestler in the history of the business, because THAT will make every fan love him. It's the worst thing this company has ever done. And they are close to turning a 30 year fan away from them. Because the way things are going I'm starting to lose interest faster and faster by the day. I can't even get excited for things like The Hardy's coming back, because I'm pretty sure at some point they are gonna turn them heel and just let Roman Reigns beat them both at the same time. I'm getting sick and tired of Roman ing Reigns getting everything. It's not entertaining, it's not interesting, and it's really getting played out at this point

With Orton winning in 2017 from a guy who needs solidifying as a champion after being ridiculed and embarrassed by Vince for 3 years.
With Goldberg v Lesnar as a main event for the title in 2017.
With Reigns going over clean against Taker without a heel turn.
With the IC title relegated to kick off but we had to sit and watch an awful SD women's match, a pitbull mime routine and a Cena proposal?
How anyone can say this was a good to great WM is beyond me.
Styles v Shane and the Hardyz were about as good as it got. Everything else was just 'there' I guess.
4/10 for me.

I can't help but think after tonight that the only reason Lesnar defeated Taker was to soften the blow before Reigns did. Lesnar was the test experiment to see just how much resentment their would be for a Taker 'Mania loss.....so that they could inevitably put that honor on Roman.
I'll say this about Reigns. A lot of people question why fans hate him so much and chalk it up to, "oh you just hate him because WWE pushes him". Explain to me why it's any better to just like him because WWE is pushing him? What DOES he do so well? It's not his mic skills, definitely not his charisma....and he's not putting on the hottest matches of the night. So is it any better to like him for no reason, or dislike him because he's in a position he's not good enough to be in?

I really enjoyed this Wrestlemania. Orton vs bray was as crap as I expected it to be and Reigns being the guy to retire undertaker is sad, but apart from that I loved the show!

Maybe take a month or two off from WWE and just watch some other promotions

Hard to believe that for the second consecutive year, I didn't watch WrestleMania. And I don't regret it for a second, either. Seeing the results on Facebook as the show went on, it seemed like the card played out pretty much exactly as it looked on paper, with the obvious exception being the return of the Hardy's. That seemed to be an awesome moment, but certainly not enough to justify how bad the rest of the card was.
Everything that led up to this Taker versus Roman match seemed like they were setting this up as Taker's farewell. Making that match the main event, for starters, made no sense unless something significant was going to be happening, and then once it was confirmed that JR was coming back just to call that one match, that sealed it for me. Reigns winning didn't surprise me one bit, sadly. The end goal of this show was the same as every other - make Roman look strong. That's never going to change, which is why I decided to pretty much stop watching altogether. I have zero interest in an era headlined by Roman Reigns, after just sitting through an era headlined by John Cena.

- Neville/Aries was great and had a perfect ending. Can't wait to see a rematch. - Mojo winning over Sami and Braun. - Ambrose/Corbin on the kickoff was a disgrace and both looked rightly pissed. Not much to this match. Expect more at the next PPV with a gimmick involved. - Shane/AJ blew away expectations. AJ really is the best in the world. Great match to kick off the show. - Jericho/Owens was also great. Maybe a tad below the opener, but still a fantastic match. - Raw Women's title match was good, but a tad underwhelming. Sasha should've made the final 2. It sets up the heel turn better for tomorrow if she lost to Bayley. - Return of the Hardys was incredible. Great ladder match as well. Best moment on the show. - Exactly what I expected from the mixed tag match. Was never meant to be a classic. Say what you want about the match and the proposal. It was cheesy as hell, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it. - Rollins/HHH. Loved this match. Storytelling at its finest. All building to the incredible finish with Steph taking the table bump. Up there for MOTN with Shane/AJ, JeriKO, and the ladder match for me. - Orton/Wyatt was stupid as hell and Orton winning was awful. Whoever put this together should be fired. - Never thought I'd say this, but I enjoyed the hell out of Lesnar/Goldberg. Fast start, incredible leap by Brock and a hot crowd. From a 5 minute match, can't ask for much more. - SD Women should've been on the kickoff. A decent enough match but I hated Naomi winning. - I'll start off by saying that the main event made me sad. It was hard to watch. Taker is so old and past it, it was like watching someone putting a dog out of their misery. I get why they did this. I fully understand the reasoning behind it all. It all made sense for Taker to lose his last match at WM. I don't like that Roman was the one to do it, I would've preferred Cena. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Roman. But Taker had to lose his last match. Everything post-match made up for the lacklustre action. It was perfectly sad. Overall, good Wrestlemania. Not great. I'll go for 7/10, which is a lot better than I expected.

You know what else was great? Months and months of a storyline that was actually entertaining. Owens & Jericho. 2 guys whom the audience is 100% invested in and enjoys watching. One of the most over guys on the roster (Jericho). Another guy whom the true fans actually support and got behind who just spent over 6 months as a world champion (Owens) and their match was pretty much forgettable, thrown in at the beginning of the show, lasted less than 20 minutes, and barely talked about even again. Like I almost forgot that Owens even won the US title. If anything proves this company doesnt give a about anything good....it's that.

can wrestling fans please explain to me WHY a wrestler "has" to lose his last match?

Incase anyone was wondering, John Cena LITERALLY hit THREE! that's right THREE moves on The Miz in the entire match and they were his two signatures and finisher. He didn't land a single blow or move on Miz prior to that. That's absolutely disgusting and Cena should be ashamed of himself.

can wrestling fans please explain to me WHY a wrestler "has" to lose his last match? Think it's just as simple as putting someone over on the way out. I don't like that Roman was the one chosen here, but I agree with the tradition of losing your last match. If he beats Reigns, whys he retiring? He just beat a top star, he can still go. Plus, watching him leave after a devastating loss was perfectly sad.

Miz will recover as quickly as Tuesday. Because, in the end, Miz was right. Cena proposed in front of all the cameras to further his brand. That's all that matters for Miz. He was right.
