So with all the shoving of Reigns down fan's throat of being "the guy," who would you rather have as the face of the company going forward into the future, and why?
I personally don't like the model of one guy who beats everyone for years on end because it sacrifices the potential of other talent, but if I had to build the company around one person for the next decade it would definitely be Seth Rollins.
The guy is a tremendous heel, a really good face who garners reactions from the crowd everywhere he goes. He has the look and definitely can go in the ring. I would have said AJ Styles, but the guy is getting up there in age and will not be the company's flag bearer for a decade.

Definitely Seth Rollins on RAW and for the most part... the entire company. That's the thing though. Like you said, there shouldn't be one "underdog" who always overcomes the odds.
Roman can be in the main event picture and I don't think people would be nearly as angry. It's that he IS the main event picture. Even when he isn't a champion of any kind.

Bingo, look at WWE boom periods. Yes Hogan and Austin were the main draw and oft went over, but they also but up other guys to take the lead when they were gone. In the Attitude Era The Rock, HBK, HHH, Taker, Angle, Jericho, etc... were all legitimate main draws and while Austin was THE guy and #1 draw, all of those guys mentioned often rotated in and out of the main event WITH the title. This was in most part because they booked their guys like humans, not invincible superheroes. Thats the problem today, they are sacrificing building multiple draws for ONE guy, and it is obviously not working. Kevin Owens love him or hate him, is perfect example of this. He was booked as a coward with no real character development during his title run, only to be squashed by a washed up has-been for short term financial success. All they had to do was book him as a viscous, cunning champion (like in NXT) and have him get some legitimate wins, and then when he loses the moment becomes more important.

Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews(if they book him right), and even Roman Reigns if they turn him heel and stop having him play the underdog with a Superman push, all have potential to be future main event stars and the future of the company. I'm not sure who THE big draw would be, but they all have huge potential.

If I was WWE, I would stop making Braun Strowman look like Roman Reigns' bitch. It seems like they created that character just so that Roman Reigns had a giant to slay....which it really short sighted booking. I would make Braun Strowman a killer and have him dominate everyone. But I would put him in real matches, not squash matches against 5 jobbers like they did with him for months and months. He didn't really have any legit matches until they put him against Sami and Reigns.
They've only really scratched the surface of what Braun is capable of. He's not been allowed to really do what he can really do yet. They still book him as the lumbering giant, but look at just the little bit he did against Big Show....he moves like a guy half his size. Imagine if they took the handcuffs off him and broke the stereotype that every big man moves around like a Frankenstein.
I hope Braun gets the big push. Maybe after Reigns fails again they'll go with Braun.

Stop depending on nostalgia and part-time talents to focus your product on. The casual non-wrestling fan would still tune in to WrestleMania (especially for free) to see Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar. Adding the Universal Championship is beyond pointless and nothing but a prop.
Get Cesaro away from tag team wrestling, especially with Sheamus and push the guy. Heel or face, it doesn't matter. Continue building Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn instead of rushing to the payoff. Continue doing whatever they are with Samoa Joe... the cycling title/main event picture on RAW would be:
Seth Rollins Kevin Owens Finn Bálor Roman Reigns Samoa Joe Braun Strowman Sami Zayn Cesaro

Personally i would rather have Finn Balor as THE top guy than Roman Reigns. I dont mind Roman Reigns BTW, but the role he's got is not right for him

I hate the idea of having a "face of the company." Don't put all your eggs in one basket. A competitive main event scene (which Reigns can be part of) is a far better idea.

3 names are the faces of WWE. AJ is one of them. Let me paint a picture. A recently debuted Bobby Roode has captured the WWE IC championship. He has entered Summerslam to face an unamed opponent to prove he isn't scared of any man. Glorious hits, the crowd goes wild. They are ibviously behind Bobby Roode. He is in the ring, holding up the championship with his back to the entrance stage, as the canera zooms in to capture him hoisting the IC championship over head, we see 2 words pop up on the tron... "Bullet Club" Bang Bang Bang.... The lights go out, and the arena loses its ing mind. The crowd simmers.... The lights come back on, with his arms held high.... Adam Cole BAYBAY is stretched across the screen. With both wrestlers starting eachother down in the ring, we get an epic taunt-off. Adam Cole throwing his arms in the air... ADAM COLE BAYBAY.... Bobby roode throwing his arms up GLORIOUS.... From here, we get a technical match uo that would make the likes of Steamboat,Flair, and Macho Man proud.

It's a good idea but I don't see it happing.

A year ago, I would have said Seth Rollins without a moment of hesitation. That's not so clear now.
Part of that is the injuries, the other part is the botched return and subsequent face turn. Rollins was the hottest guy in the company, bar none, coming out of Extreme Rules last year. They completely destroyed his trajectory by staying the course with him as a heel instead of riding the momentum he had. He still hasn't recovered, and it could be a long time before he does.
I don't think there's a definitive answer, except to say it's not Roman Reigns. If that means using a patchwork group of talented guys for the next few years until someone else comes along, or until Roman finally gets over as a babyface after a successful heel run, then so be it. We're not in a boom period. We're not heading toward a boom period. I realize it's Vince's nature to gravitate toward one guy and put all his eggs in a single basket, but I'm just not sure they have that guy right now, and them pretending that they do is dragging the whole product down.

You ask the fans to choose "the guy" and you'd have a different "guy" every single week. Fans are so fickle.

The real problem is that there isn't anybody else, because everyone else is made to look like mid card fodder compared to the part timers and Roman. I don't want Roman to be heel because he sucks or because it's cool. I want him to be heel because that is where his personality works more naturally. I think if they gave him a proper heel run as a top guy for a year, he could be a monster babyface they want

There isn't a "guy". There really hasn't been a "guy" since Steve Austin and The Rock.
You can argue John Cena and maybe Batista/Randy Orton... but none of those came naturally.
