I just want Reigns to go on a Triple H type heel run for a year or two to help elevate some babyfaces and run a stable with the Usos and Nia Jax called The Bloodline. Why can't I get that?

Let me paint a picture. A recently debuted Bobby Roode has captured the WWE IC championship. He has entered Summerslam to face an unamed opponent to prove he isn't scared of any man. Glorious hits, the crowd goes wild. They are ibviously behind Bobby Roode. He is in the ring, holding up the championship with his back to the entrance stage, as the canera zooms in to capture him hoisting the IC championship over head, we see 2 words pop up on the tron... "Bullet Club" Bang Bang Bang.... The lights go out, and the arena loses its ing mind. The crowd simmers.... The lights come back on, with his arms held high.... Adam Cole BAYBAY is stretched across the screen. What does this have to do with who should be the "face" of WWE? ... Adam Cole and Bobby Roode could be.

I'm happy with Reigns being The Guy.

There shouldn't even be a "guy." Obviously, there are going to be levels of importance among the rosters, but for one superstar to stand above the rest is stupid. WWE should make everyone feel important. Why purposely make other guys look like crap just to boost one guy?

Seth Rollins isn't that good to take the very top position. He's been a pretty bland babyface.
I think the real future lies within Finn Balor.

There isn't a "guy". There really hasn't been a "guy" since Steve Austin and The Rock. You can argue John Cena and maybe Batista/Randy Orton... but none of those came naturally. i disagree about Cena.... if you go back in time to Wrestlemania 22 era, the fans were DYING for Cena to get to the top .He was getting over organically with a great, albeit cheesy, gimmick that worked to his strengths as a promo guy and also a character. the resulting years and years of him being on top, burying every new talent, winning a million ing titles, and winning almost every big match he had was a result of the organic rise to the top that Cena had......Cena went through ALL the steps you're supposed to go through -debut match, loses but makes an immediate impression -character change from generic to memorable -heel, but entertaining -mid card title run -earned a wrestlemania main event championship match -claimed a permanent spot in the main event Cena really was "the guy" up until the last couple years. and as bad as he was booked, he was NEVER as forced at us the way Reigns has been the last 2 years.

I genuinely feel HHH is gonna back Finn Balor as "the guy". But as said above even though I'm a MASSIVE fan of his? I think the future lies in a truly competitive ME scene. Thye have the players to make it happen across the 2 brands...
Rollins Reigns Ambrose Owens Balor Styles Samoa Joe Nakamura Bobby Rood
they just need to fit the guys in properly. Reigns as a heel would do wonders for him.....it really would. Being a heel allows the guy more room to experiment and refine his character.

That's a tough choice. There are a lot of guys that seem like obvious picks on face value....
I think Nakamura has the in ring talent to be the guy but his limited-ish English will be a major hindrance. Plus it remains to be seen how he will be treated by creative, especially if they make the mistake of sending him to Raw.
AJ Styles seems like another logical choice, but realistically, how much time does he have left?
Rollins should be the guy but we'll have to see how his knee holds up.
Dolph Ziggler's days of being taken seriously as a possible top guy by the fans are long gone. A few years ago he would have been my top pick.
I think Karl Anderson could be a good choice. But he would need to prove himself with a good midcard singles run. And I don't know how old he is. He could only have a few years left too.
For me, there's only one choice: The Miz. He's got everything. He has the look, charisma, he's a hell of a talker and he can go in the ring.

He's better than he's ever been. Jericho is 46 and still going strong. AJ has at least another 10 years in him. Hogan was in his late 30's and 40's when he was the face of the WWF and then WCW.

People are overrating Seth. He is a natural heel and has proven that he's not good as a face so to be the guy you have to be good at playing a good guy.

Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins are really the only 3 guys I can see carrying the company.

The selfish part of me wants Randy Orton to be the guy But realistically AJ Styles should be the guy, he's the best in the world for real
