Last week during Jinder Mahal's Punjabi celebration on SmackDown Live, I believe JBL said he was the 50th WWE champion in history. This got me thinking; how many out of the 50 champions have you seen since you started watching wrestling on TV? I'm not talking about title reigns, I'm strictly talking about the title holders. I'll start:
Summer 2001 -
Stone Cold Steve Austin Kurt Angle (Unforgiven 2001) Chris Jericho (Vengeance 2001) Triple H (WrestleMania X8) Hollywood Hulk Hogan (Backlash 2002) The Undertaker (Judgment Day 2002) The Rock (Vengeance 2002) Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam 2002) Big Show (Survivor Series 2002) Eddie Guerrero (No Way Out 2004) John Bradshaw Layfield (Great American Bash 2004) John Cena (WrestleMania 21) Edge (New Years Revolution 2006) Rob Van Dam (ECW One Night Stand 2006) Randy Orton (No Mercy 2007) Jeff Hardy (Armageddon 2008) Batista (Extreme Rules 2009) Sheamus (TLC 2009) The Miz (RAW) CM Punk (Money In The Bank 2011) Rey Mysterio (RAW) Alberto Del-Rio (SummerSlam 2011) Daniel Bryan (SummerSlam 2013) Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 31) Roman Reigns (Survivor Series 2015) Dean Ambrose (Money In The Bank 2016) AJ Styles (Backlash 2016) Bray Wyatt (Elimination Chamber 2017) Jinder Mahal (Backlash 2017)
That makes it 29/50 for me which isn't bad considering I thought I started watching it pretty late (despite being 8 years old at the time lol) and missed the Attitude Era at its peak. How many have you guys seen?

41 out of 50! Everyone from Hogan's first run till Jinder a few weeks ago. So there's two things we've learned here... First, I watch too much wrestling.
AND... second, I'm old as f***.

I don't know what the number is, but when I started watching wrestling in 1981 Bob Backlund was WWF champion.

For me would be since Randy Savage's first reign as champion. I know I wouldn't remember it but I was born to be a fan. Thanks to my parents who remembers when Bruno Sammartino and Pedro Morales were champions.

I know I've seen everyone from Iron Sheik through today with maybe the exception of Backlund. AJ Styles I've seen at TNA house show in 2007 but don't think I've seen him in WWE. Its possible I've seen Superstar Billy Graham when he managed Don Muraco but never seen him wrestle. I am sure I've seen Pedro but can't recall. Bruno I may have seen when he returned to try to put over his son David but again can't recall. I know with certainty that I've never seen Buddy Rogers, Stan Stasiak, Ivan Kolloff, or Antonio Inoki (I know he's not credited).

I started watching in 1984, so Hulk Hogan was the first WWE Champion I got to see.

It was actually really cool to be at a house show this winter and see AJ Styles work as the WWE Champion.
It was a surreal moment to take in.

Everyone since Bruno's second title run in the early 70's I watched wrestle, but I also seen Ivan Koloff, Pedro Morals and Stan Stasiak wrestle while still in the WWF.
So watched wrestle during their Championship reign - 46 Watch while they still wrestled in the WWF/WWE - 49 Saw at a WWE live event I attended - just Hogan
And with Buddy Rogers I don't remember him wrestling, but I remember watching him on my TV during Superfly's face turn when he was leaving Captain Lou Albano. So I guess I seen all 50 during their times in the WWE.
