They really make me frustrated. Like why even bother? Paint his calves black? Why are the boots so small Bill? MattelDesignTeamI can live with the giant arms and legs, but those crappy little boots actually piss me off. Cm Punk legs? Cody rhodes legs? Surely there was a better option than this...

Oh and Bayley! Like seriously what gives? Start giving Cesaro giant torsos and arms, giving Bayley and Seth smaller boots, Sting has like 4 different torsos by your standards. Im baffled.

Oh im sorry. Let me make it better, oh wait, I dont care. I have an opinion and a legit question that Id like addressed instead of being buried in a random pickup thread. These are legit questions. Why all the sudden part changes. There have been like 5-6 Seth elites, why screw this one up when the right parts exist? Same with Bayley, same with Cesaro, same with Sting, etc. Id take "were trying to save money" as an excuse as long as it came from Mattel. Im done and sick of the what ifs and hypotheticals. Im sick of guessing why weird short boots are used instead of the correct ones. Maybe im just done throwing money at trash. Anyone wanna buy a bunch of garbage?

For reference: where are the black calves/shins? Small black kneepads that meet the kickpad design. No big ass gap. I can let scale and parts slide on $10 basics, but im getting fed up $20 "elites" being thrown together. Really wanted this, but the boots are a huge letdown. Ive already spent thousands on these so naturally no one cares at Mattel, and of course "dont like it dont buy it" is an option except that I do like it but would like real reasons for these parts and not just "shut up" responses.

I'm with you, I would like to know why they do that.

Agree 100%. I can overlook everything else about the figure, but those boots just throw the whole figure off.

Even though some of comments above are a little over the top *imo* lol, I do agree with you, why create new kick pads just for Rollins that are clearly wrong. It's weird, but I'm with you, I think a small comment by Bill would by much appreciated here

It's weird, but I'm with you, I think a small comment by Bill would by much appreciated here I tried my best to not criticize his effort or ability, just want to understand the reasoning. I know there has been the excuse of deco hits on certain surfaces, like CM punks ab tattoo being smaller to fit the crunch, Balor getting the non ripped torso for the first 2 and 4th elites, etc. But then wheres the excuse when they chop up e49 Ortons tattoos because the arms are bigger than the old basics, release the Dallas Spotlight Balor with ripped torso and painted, and several figure with the Punk/Bryan kickers have details too. HBK and Punk are both about the same height as Seth so why not use those parts or similar?

tbh....whoever made this custom years ago, had the right idea the mattel NXT elite version just released, has the wrong: torso arms legs kneepads kickpads i'd almost argue they should've used a different color for the blonde streak too. i luv that an elite NXT Seth Rollins even got made. I like the new head. And the paint on the trunks and kickpads look awesome.

I fear that these are boots they're going to give the next Elite KO, much like his last Basic.

It is the Elite Gunn all over again. I can live with the legs and even the arms if I have to, but there's no excuses for the lower leg/boots & knee pads. Why not just use the lower leg/boots they have been using with every Seth since the shield? Like I said in my thread I will probably change the arms and knee pads, but I don't know if I will change the lower legs/boots because my eyes aren't what they used to be. So I don't know if I can still paint up a pair to match the designs on his that I'd be happy with.
It is a decent figure, but if they just used the upper arms used on the RSC Hall and the normal Rollins lower leg/boots the figure would have been a homerun. Basically the RSC Balor body with the Rollins head.

I love the designs, but the fact that theyre on such a tiny surface makes my head hurt.
Thats why im so torn on this. I wanted one so bad. We got one. I dont mind the arms, torso, or thighs. Then where 50% of the detail is, the boots, I hate. and it would be a shame to swap them with the right size plain black ones and lose that, but it is what it is. I was gonna buy several, and now im struggling to justify one when I have e25 with an NXT title already...

You have a right to be pissed. I am pissed as well. I can deal or replace the arms. I can replace that HORRID head. But the kickpads?!?!? Why bother wasting the paint to paint the legs black?! I dont even care about the knee pads. Those can be replaced. But the kickers have a lot of design in them and should have been on the correct parts. Its not a new mold that was needed. You have this mold.

how far does the black on the legs go??? because to get the knee pads correct....they would've had to paint the knee support area black (like elite neville) and then give the figure the small open black kneepads.

This is exactly how I feel about Sting's boots. They're too short for his Starrcade look and then the modern version have the same ones which are also incorrect. What I don't get is they give the normal Seths anorexic legs and then this super thick legs. I think the only cool thing about the boots is that they could use them for future HBKs, but knowing Mattel they won't bother.

All they had to do was use CM Punks body. They could even use the torso as he wasnt as big or ripped then. Instead we got Seth Rollinshearst Helmsley wearing little cowboy boots. I dont ever want to hear the torso excuse ever again. Elite 14 Rock, Elite 22 Rock, RSE Rock, Target Rocky Maivia, NOD Rock, where is the consistency since the whole "Rocks agent said blah blah blah..." excuse. Why is Sting 4-5 different sizes? Why does Cesaro get HHH arms all the sudden? Again, Im not one of those "Use this part for so and so even though they have several elites already" kinda guys. Im the "I have an entire collection of figures that look one way, and then next to them theres one or a few that throw everything off Feng Shui for me" kinda guys. Id prefer if AJ has the small non shredded torso than to stay that way. Ill take change if its consistent and for the better, but to release a handful of figures, ignore our cries, and then all of the sudden change one or two, and revert back, I dont like that.
