I'm sorry, but that was not a good match at all. They literally repeated the same 5 moves over and over and over again. If all it takes is a couple table spots to make a match good, then people have very low standards for wrestling matches. sorry...were you expecting a scientific masterpiece? It's 4 brawlers close to or over 300 lbs. This match was exactly how it needed to be. Braun vs. Brock is where the money is at. I really hope this snuffs Vince's push for Roman.

I was REALLY hoping Ambrose and Rollins would come out. I feel like Roman would be less hated (not "liked", but less hated) if he was back in the Shield.

Like I said earlier, switch out Natalya/Naomi & Cass/Show for Tozawa/Neville & New Day/Usos and the show would have been drastically better. WWE needs to stop putting show stealers on the pre-show while duds take up spots on the main show.

This is what ill say about Summerslam. I have no reason to watch RAW or Smackdown till at least the week before No Mercy. That is all, no meltdown. Just a "I got better things to watch/do than WWE "

The only problem I have with SummerSlam is deciding what to watch now that it's finished. Rick and Morty, Game of Thrones (again), The Strain or Ray Donovan 🤔

Not that anyone asked but...
The way I always look at it is, if I can watch a few good-great matches during a PPV, I'm happy. While the show did have some stinkers, we did have two fantastic tag matches. And a decent AJ/Owens & Bray/Balor. And a hard hitting car crash WWE Universal title match. So I'll take it.

I'm glad I skipped SummerSlam and only went to TakeOver: Brooklyn.
That's all I'm going to say.

I think keeping the WWE title on Jinder was the right move. Nakamura is no where close to ready to carry that belt and the SDL brand. Cena will win his 17th title off Jinder and everyone will revert to complaining about Cena after Survivor Series.
Wish Bliss retained though, Sasha is so undeserving.

They needed to get the title off Jinder tonight, like really badly. He continues to price that he can't deliver in the ring at all. To top that, hasn't the Smackdown ratings been down since he's won the title?
He's awful in the ring and is not even 1% worthy of carrying that title. He makes JBL's out of the blue title reign look legendary.

Jinder is not great, but until Vince gets behind Rusev, he's probably the best foreign heel next to Owens on the roster. Nakamura for as acclaimed as he is internationally has been mediocre on SDL. He will be the future no doubt, and do what he did with the IWGP I-C title, but he's so not ready right now for a mainstream north american audience.

I've been on the Braun bandwagon for a few months now. He looked like a star tonight. Hope he doesn't job to Lesnar. He should be the one to defeat him for the title. Is Lesnar booked for next months PPV or is he most likely gone until Rumble? Or will we get lucky enough to get a title defense at Survivor Series?

After watching Bracketology, i hope the 4 episodes of the Mae Young Classic drop early Monday, cause if it is, i plan on watching that instead of RAW. If not, theres always the 2010 TNA Impact episodes to watch and i can use Tuesday to watch the Mae Young Classic lol

Last thing I will say, Rusev took that RKO like a mother loving champ!

If the rumored Lesnar/Jones UFC fight is going to happen, I see no way Vince lets Brock go into that fight as the reigning WWE champion. I cannot picture Vince risking a WWE title losing "prestige" if reigning WWE champ Brock loses to reigning UFC champ Jon Jones. So, I'm pretty sure Brock will be back sooner rather than later and he will lose the belt. Could be Strowman. Could be Reigns. Could be Cena if he goes to Raw - that would make his record breaking 17th title all the more special (ugh).

Decent PPV but could have been better. The Smackdown Tag Team title match was the match of the night in my opinion.

Thoughts on tonight's show.
New Day and usos was solid.
I'm not sure why Cass and Show wasn't on the preshow. I would have rather had the tag or the six man match on the main card. Enzo seems to have grown stale. I've also completely lost interest in Big Cass. They never should have split.
Glad Nattie won the belt. Been a long time coming!
Kind of wish Alexa retained but I don't mind Sasha winning. Hopefully we get to see a heel turn soon.
I always enjoy seeing Demon Balor. I think it's only necessary once or twice a year as it's a special attraction.
Really like dean and Seth as tag champs.
I'm glad Jinder won. I think he's coming along nicely as a top heel. Also I think Nakamura chasing the belt is better but I expect him to win the title eventually.
I'm not surprised Brock won. Although I think Braun or Joe should have won the belt tonight.
I really miss the pyro. I would have liked to have some, especially for the second biggest show of the year.
Overall a good ppv. Would love to see Mattel make some elites of some of the attires we saw tonight. Especially Sasha, Alexa, New Day, Finn, Seth , And Cesaro (with beach ball)
