Decent show tonight. It probably didn't help that I watched Takeover right before Summerslam. No way they were touching that.

So is Roman's character going to be that of the guy who always loses because of a boneheaded mistake? Misses a spear and flies into ambulances. Charges for a spear but eats an F5.

Being there live made it so much more fun. Braun destroying lesnar was comical. Cesaro killing the ball was killer. The usos had a GREAT match. Can't wait to go back to Barclays for raw tomorrow. Should be a great one. Hopefully we get a few debuts.

Overall i can't say it was a bad show. I really dug the 2 tag title matches, Bray/Balor,Styles/Owens, and the 4 way. The only major dud was Show/Cass and that was totally expected. Orton/Rusev was kind of just there. The only disapponting finishes were Bliss and Nakamura losing. The latter of which i was vocally miffed about lol. I'd say it was a 60/40 split and at the very least not a waste of my time like say...Battleground was. Anyway I'll file it under "alright".

How's SS been? Only checking in cause it's almost 4way time. Worse than 2010 I made the right choice as i thought I would. How's SS been? Only checking in cause it's almost 4way time. Jinder is still champ and Corbin's career faded before his hairline. Good answer? Yeah it will do Ha!

I liked SummerSlam. I would have swapped Big Show vs. Big Ass with the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match, though.

All I know is New Day vs Usos should have been on the main show tonight
I could have done without Cass vs Show and Naomi vs Natalya. Cass vs Show was an absolute abomination.

Add Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks as well, totally boring match with Sasha getting beat up and doing her finisher to win was garbage. Besides the 4 matches Summerslam was pretty good.

I, for the life of me, never thought one booking decision would have ever dictated what my impression of an event ended up being...the conclusion of the WWE Championship Match changed that mindset, sadly. Unfortunately, as huge a Nakamura fan as I am, a good PPV at that point, seriously, got ruined for me by pulling off the same damn tactic for a 4th SmackDown-involved PPV in a row to hand him his first legitimate loss on the main roster. I guess that's a good thing for a heel to get that emotion out...but that, truly, soured me completely on the main event, which did deliver.
I might be the only to think that...but, damn, that was a legit blow to the gut...

I loved SummerSlam this year, some matches that are match of the year candidates in my opinion. Even though the show was 6 hours it didn't feel as long as it usually does. This is the 3rd time now that New Day and The Usos have tore the house down, these guys are truly incredible. John Cena's hair makes him look 13 years younger Randy Orton proved the rko can strike at any time Loved when Cesaro ran in the crowd and destroyed the beach ball 😂 Another great tag team match I expected the U.S Title match to steal the show, but it was still good nonetheless. I liked KO's arguing throughout the match "You have fallen off buildings" 😂😂 Completely shocked Jinder retained, he didn't even fully hit his finisher. (Not reading through this thread because I'm assuming it is 89 pages of negativity and "NXt Takeover was better", but don't blame Shinsuke's loss on his botched suplex on Cena) Fatal 4 Way was ing incredible, I was on my feet for every move that happened in the match. I was expecting Roman to be in position for a spear and then "GONG", but at least Brock hit the F5 and pinned Reigns. I knew how popular Strowman was, but it got taken to a whole new level tonight WOW the roof might have collapsed if he won.

I've only watched the Main Event this morning while avoiding all over results. I figured Lesnar was retaining half way through the match, as it became clear they were saving Strowman going to Suplex City for another occasion. They already kind of gave away that Lesnar is able to F5 him though since he had him on his shoulders. Very fun match, although I was slightly confused with how the end played out. If Lesnar was to make him comeback after being taken away on a stretcher, I'd like to have seen him come down and go apesh*t on everybody in full beast mode, and destroy everyone before winning. Was kind of confused as to why he then took even more punishment. Strowman looked a million dollars, and it's evident that Lesnar vs Strowman is where they are heading next.

1. This place (and Barclay's) is going to explode when Nakamura pins Jinder after Kinshasa.2. I'd like to see Jinder with a lengthy reign as United States Champion. Something similar to Rusev. I'd just prefer he not be the one to beat Styles. Apparently the place didn't explode like you had planned. Don't hinder my Jinder!

4 for 4 in title changes tonight. Mahal is retaining, WF meltdown. Calling it. I am good at predicting when I'm absolutely sh*tfaced.

Outside of the main event and both tag title matches, this was an absolutely horrendous show. And I'm not usually one for saying that. The first 2 hours of the main show felt like 4.

Unless I missed something but wasn't the US Title match supposed to be 2 out of 3 falls? I enjoyed that match too, even with the shenanigans. Styles and Owens best match

I was expecting Jinder winning to get him huge heat, especially going over Nakamura in Brooklyn at a Summerslam, but the reaction was just flat, as was the crowd for most of the Match. It's becoming a flawed experiment. Rather than winding up the marks that he's Champion, essentially they are just losing interest in anything he does, which is the last thing you want for the WWE Championship.

The crowd was kinda dead all night. Ambrose/Rollins vs The Bar got them going decently though.
