So, guys - what do we think? Did Brock skip RAW last night or did WWE pull him from the show? I seem to remember this happened last time his contract was coming up, and the general consensus was that he no-showed at the time.
Personally, I think it's a work - but I also don't think he's resigning with WWE this time around.

Always remember, when it's Wrestlemania season, kayfabe will work overtime.

I'd be surprised if this isn't a work, and I'm really hoping he doesn't re-sign this time. I'm beyond done with Lesnar and I've been for a while. Between the fact, that his matches are just rinse and repeat of him just tossing people around, and then his disappears for months. It's just beyond boring. Plus it's a joke that this current reign as pretty much been part of putting Reigns over at Mania.

absolutely a work.
Brock usually gets massive pops when he shows up. They want him a heel going into the Wrestlemania match versus the ultimate underdog, lifelong wrestling in his blood, mega babyface Reigns. so advertise brock, then have Reigns go out like he's "shooting" and calls out lesnar's part time stuff, same way Dean did before their awful match a couple years ago
because Vince truly believes this will be the time that Roman will finally be accepted as "the guy" and 80,000 will be cheering and losing their minds with excitement after he hits his lame-ass spear for the victory in the closing moments of Wrestlemania for the 4th time in a row.

Interesting responses guys. Like I said, I think it's a work - but I'm keeping everything he crossed that he doesn't resign. He's been an absolute bore to watch since WrestleMania 32.

Little bit of column A, little bit of column B.
I am sure the WWE knew Lesnar wouldn't be there, but I think everything Roman said was honest and true as to what he and the rest of the boys do feel about Lesnar.

I'm going with a worked shoot to set up Roman for his promo on Monday to try and get him over with the fans. The setup gave Roman a chance to be edgy and "tell us a truth management didn't want us to hear". It smelt of "Hey guys, I'm one of you. I love and respect this business. You really should like me. Please like me."
Fact is, Brock will do what is asked of him as long as he gets paid. He may have the most professional approach of any wrestler simply because it is a job to him. You pay him, tell him what to do, and he does it. I don't see him pulling a Punk or Neville - he won't be taking his ball and going home because he doesn't like how he is booked and such.

While I think it's a work, Brock probably is playing hardball at this point. The pic from Sunday with Dana White was no mistake. So WWE is going to spin it to benefit them. And rightfully so.
Personally, I think it's time for WWE to play hardball back. Lesnar isn't the draw he once was. His matches certainly aren't as good as they used to be. Braun is more than capable of being a new monster. WWE needs to strongly consider moving on to freshen things up.

100% work. This is the same promo we heard during Brock’s feuds with Cena and Orton. The only person who legit called Brock out for this was Ambrose on the Stone Cold podcast.
They want Roman over. They know he gets booed out of buildings. Having Roman call out the part-timer for “no-showing” is there way of trying to get fans behind him as somewhat of a “people’s champ.”
I do think it’s funny he said Brock was entitled, yet went on to say that his family is this business...

And he wants to talk about this business being in his blood, but it's funny how it didn't seem to call to him, until he failed out of both the NFL and CFL.

The desperation to get Roman over is sad.
It's not like he's this charismatic entertainer in the same vein as John Cena. He's a great workhorse imo, good ring performer with solid intensity.
He's good, on a lot of nights damn good, but he has the personality of a cardboard box compared to the elite entertainers.
It would be so much easier to go with the white hot Braun and the organic push.
