I have a friend who is friends with Brian Blair and Harry Smith contacted him and informed Brian that Neidhart had a seizure and fell and hit his head and bled to death. If true, so very sad. That’s really crazy if that’s what happened. That’s happened to me a few times, but luckily I came to fairly quick.

Yeah, this one hurts.
Such a great character. As much as Bret carried most of their in-ring work, there is no doubt that Jim carried their promos with his intense charisma and personality. They were one of the greatest tag teams during a time that is often heralded as the "Golden Age" of tag team wrestling.
When I get home later I think I'll watch Bret's HOF speech just to hear some of those Neidhart stories again.
Rest in peace, Jim.

Sad to hear. Feel bad for Natalya, Bret, and the rest of Neidhart's family. I'll be popping in my "Hart & Soul" DVD tonight in memoriam.
RIP

Really sad news. I saw a picture on Twitter of the Hart Foundation, all in black and white except for Bret. RIP

My guess is that Sexay and Volkoff needed a third man for the match they were having in heaven and had a surprise partner picked.... *sigh* damn.
R.I.P. Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart!

Terrible news. I’ve never been much of a fan of any of the Harts in the ring other than Owen (and Pillman), but that’s not a detriment to their importance in wrestling history. Hopefully Tyson, Nattie and Bret are able to push through.

A sad stat that I always look at after such events. 24 participants from Wrestlemania VII have passed away for various reasons. 21 from VI and 20 from V

Damn...Another one gone. I am just shocked & saddened by this news. I met Jim a bunch of times over the years. Have numerous autographs from him. He was always a nice guy.
Nattie posted a pic of them together on Twitter 3 days ago so it must've been a massive heart attack that took him so suddenly.
I'm guessing he died much like Roddy Piper did, in his sleep.
So sad that Bret Hart is the last one left from The Hart Foundation from 1997. Owen, Pillman, Bulldog, Anvil...So sad.
RIP Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.

RIP Anvil. This is crazy. My condolences to the whole Hart Family and anyone he was close with.
I was just thinking about Canadian Stampede 97 and how OVER the Hart Foundation was that night. Amazing PPV, amazing stable. Think I may give the Main Event a watch in honor of Neidhart later.
