If you just happen to bump into a wrestler on the streets and you take a moment to thank them or get a selfie, that's one thing.
If you're perched outside of a hotel for hours waiting for them to leave so you can shove a stack full of 8x10's in their face, that's another.
Don't be that guy.

What kinda amateur stands outside and waits? I spent the entire WrestleMania weekend under Toni Storm's bed. Why wait outside when you can sniff panties all day? Smh.

I think one thing that needs to be clarified is there is a difference between seeing a wrestler at a gym and giving a nod and hello, maybe even a short chat, to seeking out where they’re staying that night and divebombing them when they’re intentionally avoiding such things. That's too obvious, level-headed and reasonable. We have to "take sides" and have intractable opinions on everything, I think it's in Terms of Service of life lol

Yea, I don’t bother people unles its at a show/signing.
I saw Bobby Fish walking the streets of St.Augustine a few months back. Just gave him a nod and kept walking. Thats how it should be. I’m sure it gets old quick for them when they finally get their own time off.

No, hanging out outside their hotel isn't really harmless at all. Fans aren't entitled to alone time with Wrestlers when all they want is to relax before a show. Hoping to get an autograph and being entitled aren't the same things. No one's condoning following them to their rooms. They're just people too, if you're respectful then it shouldn't be a big deal. If they don't want to engage, that also shouldn't be a big deal. fans basically stalk them 24/7 and think these wrestlers should just drop what they're doing to sign autographs and take pics anytime anywhere. Being a wrestler is hard enough let alone having weirdos stalking you plus wrestlers travel none stop they're away from family and kids for long periods, they're in pain alot so no one has a right to ask for a photo or autograph.

Yes we can all agree that no one should stalk wrestlers. No one supports that. I struggle to see where I said stalking 24/7 is okay. I also don't think that's what this thread is about. To suggest that wrestlers can't be asked a question is ridiculous. It's not a big deal. It's also equally not a big deal if they say no. At no point am I referring to stalkers. BONUS TAKE: I think heels should always say no.

I don't see myself waiting outside a hotel just to meet a wrestler, I rather do something else.

And how about the douchebags who say "I buy tickets to see you guys wrestle. I help pay your salary. You owe it to me to sign this."

I bumped into JBL in Vegas in 2013. I'll never be in Vegas again and I'll never meet JBL again. Asked him for a photo and he was an absolute gentleman. Glad I asked.

How do people know what Hotel they stay at and what time their flight lands? You (at least before) can call the airline and ask if so-and-so is scheduled to be on a certain flight. They can do this for family reasons to make sure you're there to pick them up, etc. Lots of miscommunication happens with air travel as flights get delayed/canceled, and you can't always communicate even in the air.

This post just have me flashbacks of my teen years being on this board. Thank you lol Here's a first hand account of that famous incident I found on another site (PM me for the link) that you and others should get a kick out of. another gem from the replies on this particular site with an actual CM quote probably originated from this site more

If you bother them for anything more than a picture and one autograph you’re an bunghole. If I was a wrestler or any kind of celebrity I’d personalize and only take pics with kids. I don’t find if terrible for fans to wait outside of hotels or such because paid signings are expensive as hell first off. Second the lines are always crazy. Third, not everyone does them anymore. So it’s a double edge sword but if your respectful I don’t see many problems with it

He scammed me in a trade several years ago. Not a fan. He popped up on my Twitter replying to MVP saying Asians had it worse than Africans. Not a fan either. I'm sorry, but the dude really is a big, entitled, Skid mark. Just...unpleasant...in almost every way possible.

Though I'm enjoying this as much as the next guy, I think we know why I have to lock this. It's kinda out of my hands.
But hey, we all knew where this was headed and it did. So I think we can all take solace in the fact we were all right. Go team!
