'Leave the memories alone.' ...also guess they can push aside another Legend to fit Gronk into next year's Hall Of Fame class. lol

Wow. Despite not knowing what a Gronk was until he appeared in WWE, I was more than willing to give him a chance and didn't find him near as insufferable as most make out - but what a massive waste of time.

Gotta remember, we have no idea what kind of contract Gronk even signed with WWE. People heard "Gronk" and "WWE contract" and got worked up over (potentially) nothing. Could have been a per appearance deal. Or WM host and one other appearance down the road sorta thing. For all we know we he may only appear long enough to get rolled up, lose the 24/7 title, and (hopefully) we may never see him in WWE again.

After seeing him on Smackdown and at WrestleMania, I hope he never returns to pro wrestling in any way. I don't follow the NFL, but it's my understanding that he's one of the best at his position. He should have had a couple of big contacts, so he doesn't need WWE as post-football financial security. Maybe he's a charismatic guy to be around in person, but that did NOT translate to TV.

Another pointless waste of money for someone who contributed nothing to WWE.
Wonder how much money WWE would have saved if they let Gronk, Fury & Velasquez go... 3 people who have done nothing for WWE, and have other sports they're either still signed to, or can fall back to with no issues.
Actually i roughly know, at least $20 Million. How much did the 40+ firings save them again?

Good for Gronk.
I hope the WWE can now afford to sent some money over to furloughed staff that were sent home.

I saw a MSN report that Gronk says he will keep the 24/7 title so I'm sure both Gronk and WWE will find a way to work this into a future storyline.

No. He had no place in WWE Just asking, but why didn't he have a place in the WWE? People are judging him off, really, one appearance. Sure it was goofy but who knows what Gronk could have done. Remember there are a lot of wrestlers that came from the football field. Goldberg, Lugar, Ron Simmons, Ernie Ladd, etc. It's one of those "you never know things". Gronk has personality, he's a walking gimmick, etc. Judging the old judging the book by the cover, I don't think he'd be main eventing WrestleMania, but, we just don't know.
