I don’t have a problem with that Otis figure but I’ve never been a big fan of the normal Elite ab crunch. I think the torso’s on the Ultimate Editions look much better.

I may be in the minority but I absolutely hate Jakks figures including the classic superstars. Bodies look to shiny and unrealistic and limbs seem to marionette like.

So when the torso was originally used like 10 years ago (twice on Brodus) and the same type of design used 3 times on Yokozuna it wasnt a problem? We just decided now to get pissy about it?

Sucks that you were forced to buy it. Otis is one of my favorite figures of the year. I've never given the torso joint a second thought. But nah, at least Jakks never cobbled anything together: Credit to Chicago for the pic/find. The longer you look at it the worse it gets

I agree. I know articulation is king around here, but excessive articulation joints ruin the look of a figure - that's just a fact. That ugly ab crunch spoils the aesthetic of every elite. Take both elite Blacks for example... the tattoo in the centre of his chest has to be smaller than it should, because the stupid ab joint interferes with its placement... Whereas on the basic, it is the correct size, as there is no joint there to hinder it. On the elite Punks, the 'straight edge' tattoo was always lower down and smaller, compared to the basic versions - again due to the ab crunch.

A small price for figures that can actually be played with and posed properly

Really for me is one of the best figures. At first i didnt like the knee pads being molded. But once i had it on my hands in person i really liked them. Is a unique figure for sure.

Some of ya'll can get really pissy about a differing opinion. Awesome "community."

Some of ya'll can get really pissy about a differing opinion. Awesome "community." You do realize they’ve started designing figures with hidden articulation right? Go buy elite 80 Bayley or Ultimate Edition Fiend. So like, your problem with pins in the arms and knees is going away eventually. As for the ab crunch you’re just plain wrong on that, and as someone who got into playing with figures right before Deluxe Aggression started, that ab crunch is vital.

How you gonna come down on people for getting "pissy" over differing opinions while getting pissy over differing opinions? "Community" doesn't mean you get to post something and come back to two pages worth of pats on the back for being brave enough to gripe about the ab crunch. Stay mad about it.

I like this thread because its proof we can all come together to let someone know they are wrong.
