FedEx probably delivered it themselves. I had two packages come from Big Bad via FedEX Smart post and that usually takes 5-6 days from Minnesota to NY but both of those packages FedEx delivered themselves and both arrived in 2 days. As for RSC I always us Priority because it gets here the next day. Yeah they did. Just odd because it always gets transferred to the post office. I don’t quite understand what makes it do one or the other. I am guessing because the usps is/was slammed these last two weeks FedEx just decided to deliver the stuff themselves. That or the usps asked them to.

I thought this was only happening to me honestly. I have had an eBay purchase just hanging out in the state next to mine. Usually I'd drive up and get it, but they are on our no travel list causing a demanded quarantine when I return so not worth the headache. Purchased on 12/3, has been at the location since 12/13. Fingers crossed for an end of the year delivery.

Still waiting on my Hogan that was shipped on December 2nd and has been stuck in New York ever since. Major NY to NE problems...
....and listen, I understand this is an unprecedented year in terms of sheer volume, availability of associates and Covid in general...but in some cases, it's a little unreasonable... to have packages shipped over 3 weeks ago, just sitting in transit (or who knows?) and no communication to when or if it will reach you? Something has to give soon.

Tracking said it departed Philadelphia on December 10th. 16 days later and it still hasn't arrived. I ordered something else that was shipped from CA on the 15th, it's out for delivery today.

I wish buyers were more sympathetic to sellers right now. I’m a top rated power seller on eBay and I have FORTY cases open right now against me, all people complaining and blaming me for their item not arriving yet, and most blaming me for ruining their kids Christmas. It’s extremely frustrating to have this much money tied up and this many people upset with me. At least 75% are the unreasonable kind who don’t read the news and pretend we’re not in a pandemic and say it’s not the post offices fault, I should’ve sent it Sooner. I sent it the day they paid for it. Easily the worst holiday season I’ve ever had because of this.

Yes they are and I’ve had several cases already close out in the buyers favor and I asked what happens in the case when the item shows up, which it will, and they said I could appeal the case but it’s not guaranteed I’ll be able to win the appeal and get the money. So I’m screwed out of the money and the item because the post office is in shambles and people are impatient

Sellers are getting screwed at a time when many of them might have been put out of work.

I am actually doing this full time right now so this affects my livelihood. eBay has insurance in place to protect themselves for this stuff, we as sellers do NOT.

You can attempt a package intercept on USPS.com if the item hasn't been delivered. You have to weigh the benefits because USPS will charge you return postage if they successfully intercept before delivery. It might be worthwhile if it's a costly item and you already lost the eBay case. At least the buyer won't be getting the money back and your item. I ended all my sales on 12/10 because delivery time was increasing in November. This is what happens when a sociopath is allowed to appoint a Post Master General and Board of Governors.

I typically don't even sell anything on Ebay for that exact reason, zero seller protection. During college I used to buy and sell a lot of MTG cards (I paid for my last year of school and rent that way) but eBay was the one place I refused to sell on. It was a super common scam for buyers to open claims saying the cards didn't arrive or weren't what was described and with no seller protection they got their cards for free.

I’m getting shaken down right now for $70 for a MOC fig I sent one hour after payment was received. The buyer knows what they are doing.they know we aren’t Walmart or TRget bc they are lowlifes and don’t care.

If these people are doing online shopping in mid December, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

That’s my point, I think they staged these mid December purchases once word got out of usps backlogs so they could get free stuff come January. I should have known better. Sad all this world went through in 2020 we still have these people to deal with to round out the year.

I gotta give the postal service credit, at least in some regard. I had a package in transit, due the 26th per the tracking. It wasn't an urgent matter at all...I wasn't expecting it til January. It dead ass arrived around 7am on Christmas Day while my family and I were around the tree opening gifts, in the middle of the pouring rain. I've never received post on Christmas Day. I wish I could've caught the guy and offered him a tip - it's a total drag to work Christmas Day, and that package was not urgent in the least.
