A new interview on how Triple H buried Rob Van Dam. Is it true you had problems with Triple H when you worked for WWE? Problems? I had problems liking him. I had problems feeling compatible with him on any other level other than the fact that we're both wrestlers. He would be one of the last guys you would see sharing a car with me. If we weren't both wrestlers, I doubt I'd have anything in common with him. There were a few occasions -- Unforgiven 2002 springs to mind -- when it seemed like the perfect time for you to defeat Triple H. After he attacked and beat you down on the September 16, 2002 Raw, you sought revenge in a singles bout at Unforgiven six days later. A win there would have been a tremendous boon for you. Meanwhile, a loss for HHH would have done his status no harm at all. As it turned out, HHH won by pinfall. It seemed like he cut you off. Well, I don't disagree with you. And that's why I'm glad my career is caught on videotape and DVD, so the fans can watch what happened in my career and say it all for me, like you just did. You've nothing further to add about HHH? When you're watching RVD TV (his online TV show), don't look for HHH to be in Rob Van Dam's house. Here's a reminder from 2002 with the HHH RVD rivalry: www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/rvd+triple+h/video/x2c7qf_rvd-mocks-triple-h_funwww.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/triple+h+rvd/video/x2gwtx_triple-h-takes-out-rvd-hbk_sportwww.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/unforgiven+2002/video/x30wg1_rob-van-dam-vs-triplehworld-title_sport

Yeah, RVD was super over then and it was definitely the best opportunity they had to give him the World Heavyweight title.

RVD was pretty over when they gave him that push. It would of been the right thing go let him run with the title at the time.

the problem with RVD is that he believes in his hype too much, the man is a mid-carder nothing more.
HHH>RVD

Depends what you mean by over rated. If you're talking in terms of pure athletic talent RVD is light years ahead of HHH. If you're talking in terms of mic skills, charsima, and storytelling in a match then HHH gets the edge. Two completely different kinds of wrestlers in my opinion. And if all you've ever seen is RVD in wwe then you only know 1/4 of the talent he has in the ring.

Seen his ECW work, It was... meh ok, I wasn't wow'd by it so speak, if it was a business on PURE WRESTLING then yea RVD would be a good candidate for Main Eventing, but RVD is a glorified mid carder, unless he goes to TNA were he will be the greatest independent signing ever, or at least how they make it out, (Not bashing TNA - I support TNA)

Triple H. Seriously, he's probably the biggest burial machine in the history of the business, worse than Hogan & Cena. He doesn't even make his opponents look good, like The Undertaker, HBK, & Angle can do. When somebody loses to HBK, you think " Oh man this will elevate ___ because that was a great match." When someone loses to HHH, you think " Wow this person was just buried completely." All of his matches from 2002 onward have been average or below average minus his matches against Shawn Michaels and the ones that involved more than 2 people( WMXX, Backlash 04/06 comes to mind). He could wrestle a good match when he's against one of the best( Taker, Benoit, Shawn), but when he's facing someone like Booker T, Big Show, Scott Steiner, or Umaga, he can't pull out a great match. The only two people he's made look good in the past five years is Batista( which is arguable considering Batista was way over before their feud, and their matches were average) and Benoit( once again, already an established star, HHH just put him over numerous times). I'm so sick of hearing about how HHH is one of the most well-rounded superstars in history. Yes his charisma is great, and his ability to work the crowd is unparalleled. But his in-ring skills are overrated. People bitch about Cena's moves of doom but HHH's are MUCH more obvious: High Knee Face Buster( on his knee) Spinebuster Pedigree ----------- RVD handled that interview really well. He didn't bash Triple H and he didn't come off as cocky.

RVD got a push as I.C. champ and was terrific but as World Champ, he's not someone I would want carrying the company. Personally I don't think he sells tickets. He could have been a top five canadate as greatest I.C. champ but that's the extent of it. Love mr. monday night but he let's his ego get the best of him.(yeah I know he's not the only one)

Rob has always hated Triple H and has made this public for years. It's just another example of how much backstage stroke he has. Along with RVD, there's tons of other careers Triple H has tried to ruin along the line, as well.
I don't know how anybody can be a fan of Triple H. If you want to like the guy for what he does in the ring, that's one thing. But backstage and outside of his in-ring performances, the guy is a complete prick who has killed so many stars along the way to benefit himself and his friends. Like T1 said, people complain about the way Hogan has burried guys along the way - Triple H is way worse than Hogan ever was. Not to mention the fact that guys like Randy Orton and Batista wouldn't even still be employed if it wasn't for their association with Triple H.
Triple H is a terrible worker who doesn't care about building any stars that he didn't help create. The WWE would be a hell of a lot better without Triple H around.
