Not a bad show tonight. Thank god for that Shield segment closing the show though because that Kalisto reveal was the definition of anticlimactic.

Can't they just settle it in a Hell In A Cell match?

Not too sure but I thought Taker and Michael Cole did a really good job of covering it.
Random trivia: when Taker pointed to the sky when he came out, it was in tribute to his father who passed away that week.

An act of pure evil and cowardice. Makes me sick and angry.

Eh, never cared for her. If it wasn't for social media I would've legit forgotten she ever existed.

Maybe if they came up with their own stuff they wouldn't have these issues.

Decent episode this week.
No Shelton or Gable again though which I find weird. Even if they're not doing anything storyline wise just yet, you would think they'd want to keep them on TV building up some wins.

I personally love the new Raw and SD sets that they've used since Summerslam last year. Aesthetics are important to me. Which is why I'm so glad they brought back red and blue ropes. I hated the white ropes and the pre brand split stage.

While I liked the old games and their names, you could only do catchphrase games for so long. In this day and age they'd just sound corny considering how bad some wrestlers' catchphrases are. Keeping it simple with 'WWE' and the year is perfect in my opinion. Like Fifa. Sometimes less is more.

Any time I hear that someone is pregnant I automatically get a mental picture of them having sex. Mike Bennett is one lucky dog. And I guess I won't be seeing Maria in the UK in November now. I've never had the chance to see her live and it looks like I'll be waiting even longer now.

Looking forward to tonight. Hopefully it's better than last week's show though. The previous weeks before that were amazing and then it just fell flat again last week with two average promos promoting the Owens and Shane match. Hopefully they're in the same building at the same time this week.

I really hope he can find the time to make a one night appearance. I sure miss Kane.

Drew Gulak was gold here.
Also, he looks a lot like Simon Dean.

So...did Sasha curse last night? I don't know if its the bad video or if she muttered "look" but it sounded like she said a word one would say when down on the luck. Second video shows its still there. Seems like she's cursing. She definitely said 'look'.

I'm curious to smell them now.
And they'd probably smell even worse now considering they were made over 15 years ago.

I've gotten one of my friends back into the current product and he says the same thing: that the wrestlers today are much better in the ring than they were years ago, but the problem every week is that they either lack personality or charisma, or the writing sucks. It's like, compare The Bushwhackers with The Fashion Police. Both low on the depth chart in the tag division. Both comedy based. But we'd see The 'Whackers on a regular basis, be it a bi-monthly squash match, a skit on Primetime, or hosting a video release. Compare that with how they've handled the FP (the definition of schizophrenic booking) and it's really, REALLY hard to put that blame on the talent. Obviously, there will be examples that prove the opposite, but I think Whackers/FP is a good analogy here. His main gripe is pretty much the writing and the booking, and the fact that they'd rather push guys like Roman Reigns, Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin over guys that are clearly leaps and bounds better than them.

God no. As passable as some shows can be, it was so much worse before the draft. Every show felt the same. PPVs felt the same, month after month, year after year. The period between the post WrestleMania 32 Raw and the Draft in 2016 was unbearable. Don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing with you at all. I just look at how we're missing so many good matches and stories because of guys being on different shows. But I would say that even with the brand split, most of the PPV matches are matches we've seen 5 or 6 times on tv, no? True, but with the draft there's a lot of great matches that we've yet to see. And by the time they finally come around, there will be enough buzz around them to consider them 'dream matches'. I can't wait to see Orton vs. Joe. I do find it weird that they've given us Cena vs. Nakamura and Orton vs. Nakamura on free TV out of the blue with no build up. Those are WrestleMania level matches. Same with Cena vs. Reigns and Joe vs. Lesnar.

They need to just end the brand split. God no. As passable as some shows can be, it was so much worse before the draft. Every show felt the same. PPVs felt the same, month after month, year after year. The period between the post WrestleMania 32 Raw and the Draft in 2016 was unbearable.

It's weird how 'Dok Hendrix' is how I first knew Michael Hayes. Imagine my surprise when I saw him change his name and start teaming with the Hardy Boyz as a wrestler!
