There's a seller on ebay who has some Headbanger customs for sale, and it looks like they used the old BCA heads. Honestly, they don't look bad at all. It may not be such a bad plan!

I wish I'd seen the Backstage Mayhem playset back when it was out. I don't remember having ever seen it in stores in my area. I've seen it since, but the price is usually horrible, and the playset's stripped down with maybe a few of the original parts. The Hall of Pain also looked like a fun one, but I never saw that either.

Our KB at the mall was always the first place I'd hit for toys. That 3 for $5 bin was my playground back when I was customizing Marvel figures. This was waaay before Marvel Legends, we're talkin' the old Toy Biz lines of Iron Man and X-Men. I never imagined a Marvel Legends line would ever exist. I did buy Lord of the Rings figures there right after getting out of the Fellowship at the theater that day. Sweet memories. I also remember them having this one area of figures that were the most beat down remnants at bargain prices. I got a few out of there for nearly nothing when ours went out of business. It was actually the beginning of the end for our mall. The whole place went under over the next few years. Just recently, however, our mall's had a whole new complex built, though it's an "open air" style. Still, if they got a KB in there this season, I'd be stoked!

Every head I mentioned was a Jakks model. Did I miss somethin'?

Ive got some customs planned and am having trouble with some good Jakks heads that would work: New Jack, maybe Mustafa Waylon Mercy Glacier Finn Balor (demon or whatever face and bodypaint havent decided) Ricky Banderas John Kronus I was thinking of using DI 3D D-von for New Jack and maybe booker t for the gangstas, everyone else im kind of drawing a blank so suggestions would be appreciated Waylon Mercy - maybe an RVD or Evan Bourne head? Glacier - perhaps a Crash Holly or Heidenreich head? Finn Balor (demon or whatever face and bodypaint havent decided) - maybe a well-chosen Cena? Ricky Banderas - maybe a Super Crazy or Psicosis? John Kronus - perhaps Eugene?

Obviously, a collection worth its salt should have some eye-catching details, some reason it's been collected at all. Perhaps your personal favorites stand at the front and center of your display. With these figures as with anything, it's so subjective. I certainly haven't got everybody from any era, I just collect the guys and gals I like. I definitely feel like a collection's been taken to the next level when there are some well-made customs or unique fixups in the lot, or you've got a one-of-a-kind display setup. That helps to make it your own, and differentiate it from other collections out there.

Does anyone have a good method for adding dimples and creases to a figures face? I was thinking of heating a pointed tool and pressing it in but I'm worried it may just burn / bubble the plastic rather than create an indentation. Has anyone done anything like this? I've done some of this. I've recommended it before, and I'll keep singing its praises, but a good rotary tool set has some of the most varied grinding points you can find to add features and add details. You need not spend a ton of money on a brand name set like a Dremel, either. If you have some spare figure heads you can use for practice, it is a good investment for your hobby bench.

I felt like the One Man Gang was spot-on, and a perfect use of the "big body" figure style. I don't know that this figure got a lot of recognition, but I only recently got him on ebay myself, and really like the details.

I don't know about Firpo, I've never watched his matches before. Sounds like I'd better check it out. I don't have plans for Liberty Belle as yet, but there are going to be some more GLOW ladies following up on this one soon!

I'm still a huge jakks guy. I love the huge bodies that everyone hates. Mattel ones are just so small looking to me, doesn't appeal to me at all. although I have brought some Mattel to convert into Jakks style. I've never understood the huge hatred I'm on board with this feeling, I like the bigger bodies that Jakks produced. Mattels often look a bit skinny to me, even the big guys. That said, I did buy Kamala when he first hit my local K-Mart as one of the Legends line, as I just loved the expression and detail, plus the accessories! I still buy Jakks on ebay for my custom work for the most part, as the figures are so cheap. And there are some of their figures that I just don't feel Mattel has done any better in their line. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm a purist who has stayed with Jakks alone, I've got that handful of Mattels mixed in!

Great, great work to see Sir. Excellent to see figures of so many wrestlers that most on the board will barely have heard of. Having grown up on World Of Sport on ITV Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy are my favourites, agree that the updated Ernie Ladd is a great improvement as well. Keep up the sterling work. I really enjoyed the World of Sport intro, I've only recently gotten into watching some of the old ITV matches. Big Daddy seems to have been the Hulk Hogan of the UK!

Good lord, these are amazing! That Ox Baker is spot on! And as much I detest Shirley Crabtree, you've nailed the likeness entirely. I really enjoy your work! Great job! Thank you! Ox Baker was a lot of fun to put together. I'll admit, I wasn't even planning to make Big Daddy. But, with the Giant Haystacks being put together, I couldn't very well leave out his arch nemesis. More surprises to come!
