No, its not. But the overall show was status quo for WWE these days. Nothing more than a ho hum episode. Theres a reason why I rarely attend a WWE show these days...its meh at best. Solid. But predictable and something thats been done countless times. Dont get me wrong. I still enjoyed it. But the Balor Club/DX was more exciting and unpredictable. I did not expect to see Balor Club come out during the DX segment. I have had more fun at house shows than nearly any RAW or SD taping I have ever went to. There isn't much fluff, the stars are more interactive with the fans and get away with stuff they cant do on tv. Regardless if I get a chair or not, I would not have expected to have to watch 2 hours of a 3 hour show on a rolled out tv. There's no reason they couldn't have had Roode v. Corbin as a dark match, or threw a few legends segments in ring at the MC. Agreed on the house show thought. With you 100%. The best shows I have ever attended are ones that never air on tv. The worst...always Raws and SDs. The reason WWE didnt have to throw in a few dark matches...the couple thousand who were there, we're going to buy those seats anyway. And for the few that would pass...they there are a few thousand right behind them ready to buy. Thats the problem with WWE right now. They know they cant put out a crap product and STILL draw BIG DOLLARS. For the most part...wrestling fans WILL NOT turn away. Even me, who used to goto a TON of shows and traveled all around the US...I still watch on tv. As much as I cant stand the quality of product...I still love pro wrestling and still HOPE it will change.

There's just something about that scan that makes me think of the Green Goblin. But I'm glad it looks like it should be hitting retail soon for those who were interested. Its by far one of the creepiest figures ever made. Stuff like this makes me think there is ZERO quality control at Mattel.

The little bit shown at Manhattan Center trumped EVERYTHING we saw in Brooklyn. That’s not exactly saying much. Unless some big thing happened they didn’t show on TV, I’d try and talk myself into justifying the money spent too No, its not. But the overall show was status quo for WWE these days. Nothing more than a ho hum episode. Theres a reason why I rarely attend a WWE show these days...its meh at best. The little bit shown at Manhattan Center trumped EVERYTHING we saw in Brooklyn. I despise Enzo. But this story is down right laughable. Reading the recounting of this tale only proves just how proposterous this is. Not to mention, evidently she has a long history of drug abuse and making false rape allegations.

Im sorry, but the good graces that Impact was earning from mid 2017 to late 2017 are going out the door based on the spoilers being read. They are back to hotshotting titles all around, bringing in ex WWE talent and immediately putting them over their homegrown talent and just flat out abandoning all the work they put into the development and growth of some of their vital characters from 2017. I get having to make budget cuts here and there. But there HAS to be a point where you need to keep some of the talent, especially ones that have you have nurtured and grown and developed in house.

Follow the money. Regardless of his skills or prior performance, UFC realizes he is going to sell PPVs. Does it damage the reputation of the sport and its legitamacy? Sure...but not enough that they money doesnt outweigh it. Punk wont headline the show. They will make sure to surround his fight with some real quality ones so the "haters" will still watch.

Here's a guy that WWE did a fantastic job turning into a very viable heel character for the main event. His attitude ruined it. To me Del Rio was nothing more than a solid hand in the ring. If we never saw him again, I doubt anyone would lose any sleep. Not to mention, his comments concerning Paige in this quote...would only make things even more awkward in the locker room. Once again, Del Rio passes the buck of responsibility onto someone else. Its never his fault.

I'd love to see DB come back but having him win the Rumble is an utter waste. Clearly, even if DB is cleared, he isnt gonna work a full time schedule. The RR should be used to propel a big name to carry the "ball". DB isnt carrying the ball. Ideas of having DB or UT win are just a waste of a spot. Neither needs it.

I mean, very few people can obtain the size of Roman, cena, hhh, rock ect. Without SOME help. Now whether that's steroids or supplements, we will never know. But WWE has gone on record saying their part time guys are not tested, although that doesn't really apply to Roman. However, they can push their policies and all that they do all they want, but you gotta know some of it still goes on. I always go back to what Punk said about the piss test. Hunter says Batista just took the same piss test as you Punk, but when asked if Hunter took it, no response. I think Cena has been clean.

I've been waiting a few years for a 6" Lynda Carter Wonder Woman! "A small shot of some new Mattel figures has dropped showing off 3 new “Premium Multiverse” style figures. Possibly titled “World’s Greatest” and separate from the Multiverse line – the three figures shown are a Linda Carter Wonder Woman, 90’s Television Flash, and Val Kilmer Batman from Batman Forever. Based on the info we have, they’ll be 6 Inch, have extra hands, accessories, a display base with scenic background. Paint apps look more detailed than standard Multiverse fare and articulation looks solid. They’re said to retail for $30 USD. All of this comes from They’re Action Figures with no additional source so stay tuned as things are confirmed." news.toyark.com/2018/01/08/mattel-premium-multiverse-figures-incoming-282216Awesome Mattel. We have to pay extra to get the paint apps you should be putting on the regular retail figures? Yeah, no. Lynda will probably sell well (if they get the likeness down, which, you know...it's Mattel, so who knows), but are people really going to beat down the doors to pay an extra 10 bucks for Val Kilmer Batman and John Wesley Shipp Flash? Shipp Flash and Kilmer Bats is the only ones I would get.

Neither. I think society has progressed regressively. In an attempt to promote equality as the standard, we have done nothing but found ways to make certain classifications; gender, race, etc. SUPERIOR instead of equal. The only thing it has done is give a good number of white men a superiority complex. There is no doubt that some white men have a superiority complex. However, each classification is screaming for equality, but in reality want better. When I was a kid growing up in the 70's and a teen growing up in the 80's, things were so different. No adults kissed our asses. We were the lesser important people between adults and kids. That's not to say we were unimportant, but we were not at the same league or above adults as most children are now a days. We were disciplined. We had actual consequences. We would not dare say something bad to any adult or disrespect any adult... and if we did dare to, we would have our asses handed to ourselves and then more consequences at home. If we were sitting on a bus with a parent or sitting at a restaurant waiting for a table and there were adults coming in, WE had to get up to let them sit, not the other way around as it is today. As a result, common courtesy is now all but extinct. Tolerance is gone. Everyone is out for themselves with no forethought of how any of our selfishness affects our fellow human beings. There is so much unemployment out there not because it is too hard to get a job, but because many do not have to. Mommy & Daddy support their very grown up and capable children, not to mention the backwards welfare system that also supports the jobless. The grown up children should be helping out THEIR PARENTS, not the other way around. Many Grandparents just about have no choice to support and be surrogate Parents to their Grandkids because their lazy, disrespectful, irresponsible children refuse to do what they have to do and instead go party at the expense of their parents. Not to say that everyone is like that, but I see it so much now and how it's so different. If I could ask anything of you guys, you the children that are still kids and teens... please be the ones to make a difference and be responsible, respect fellow humans and animals. Don't force your parents to have to suffer the hardship of your mistakes or irresponsibilities. Those consequences are yours and yours only, no one else's, not your Parents and not the Welfare system. Know that others have feelings, not only you. You are not better than anyone, nor is anyone better than you. Love yourself, you are important, but so is everyone else. You can make a dire and much needed change in this world and all it takes is a little understanding, facing your mistakes, a dash of responsibility with a touch of tolerance & kindness. JS I agree with you on almost everything you said. But one thought of yours, I would like to add onto. You spoke about unemployment and a backwards welfare system. While, this is true....Id like to add that the system itself is broken. NO ONE should be able to make more money on welfare/unemployment than working a 40hr a week job. The min. wage hasnt been raised since 2009 (minus certain areas who raised beginning of this year). $7.25 is an inhumane wage. Based on the rise of inflation, the min. wage should be somewhere around $11 to $13/hr. Even our seniors are being shorted in their SSI. A 1% increase in monthly pay for a cost of living adjustment. The problem is the cost of living has increased by 3% on a conservative year.
