Raw's long term plans are so obviously set in stone the chances of Joe beating Lesnar are less than 1%. However, if WWE really wanted to stick it to the critics they would have Joe win and just go with the "ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN" thing. That's the route they should go. The whole Lesnar vs. Reigns at Mania is gonna fall flat on its face and many fans assume Lesnar keeps the belt until then which is even more discouraging to viewers since Raw will be without a champion for most of the time.

Tye Dillinger, Roman Reigns, Bayley, Finn Balor, American Alpha...I don't like the trend of keeping popular stars off TV for no reason. American Alpha and Tye are really the only ones suffering here though. Having everyone on the show every week for years has overexposed a lot of guys to the fans. It's a smart move to keep guys off of TV for a week or two here and there. Back in the day guys like Hogan, Flair, Savage, etc wouldn't be featured EVERY week and it made people excited to see them when they did get featured. It's a smart move. They're just going about it in a weird way. And with guys like Tye and Alpha it has hurt them because they haven't even been built up yet. That's the wrong time to do it. For NXT it works. But Raw is 3 hours. If you take your top guys off the show you are really left with nothing and its hard to fill 3 hours with nothing without getting themselves into the ratings predicament they find themselves in currently. Something's gotta give.

I just wish I had Mattel figures in general when I first got into it (2003). They are far superior in every way than what I had back then. Paint chips a little easier compared to Jakks though.

lol I am neither. I have a small trunk that I keep all my favorite action figures in. They aren't for display nor do I play with them, but every time I open the trunk I smile and that is all that counts. They're all friends.

Since last year's was Shockmaster, anything is possible.
If they are going with the more outlandish style characters, I don't expect it to be anyone I am interested in.
I just hope it isn't Kurt Angle or Goldberg or the Hardys, those need to be available easily in retail.

I am mixed on this one. I understand where you are coming from though.
Fans of modern WWE want elite figures of the wrestlers from the current product. That is a totally credible opinion. Those fans tend to be on the younger side whom either can't afford or their parents can't afford to drop $20 per figure.
This is where the old farts come into play because they CAN afford to drop $20 per figure and creating superstars from the past gives them even more incentive to drop $20 per figure which is why you see more and more flashbacks.
I only buy about 7-8 figures per year and they are surprisingly all current guys. If I were to buy flashbacks they'd be from the 2002-2006 range because WWE is always the best the first few years you start watching it.

I ordered mine Tuesday night. Got the shipping confirmation yesterday. Ordered a number of other items that I got sick and tired of hunting for at retail. Used the WFIGS code. Not a bad haul. That RSC Finn was the trigger though, that's how they get you. I am the target. "COME GET THIS SWEET FINN BALOR EXCLUSIVE...THEN SPEND A TON OF OTHER MONEY WHILE YOU'RE AT IT." #NoRegrets

Naomi is a huge step back for the Smackdown Women's Division. I don't see anything special about her. Everything seems so forced and not natural. Whenever she says she is gonna snatch someone bald I cringe because nobody knows what that even means. She is extremely niche.

The way they put Heyman out there to hype Finn up was very telling about what the company thinks of him. I was in the same boat of people who didn't think Finn could hang with Brock realistically, but that promo changed my mind. I'm a huge Finn fan and even I was skeptical.
Honestly, I just want the belt off Lesnar whether Finn beats him straight up, dirty, interference by Gallows and Anderson, whatever. Get the belt off Lesnar ASAP.

It is also sad knowing that Finn could have been elite and it would have been $20...still cheaper than this one and this one is only basic. Come on Mattel, don't be like that. I gave you a pass with this Goldberg ring, but this better not become a trend.

I assume none of these figures are even under development yet so you're telling me one of these figures is gonna pop up in a retail elite set at this time next year? Will any of these guys even have jobs? Akira maybe, but come on. There are far more top priorities in the CW division than these three. I'd take a Noam Dar over any of these guys.

I need that Finn, but I can't justify paying $30 for a basic figure and a ring that I have no use for nor want.

I figured most people know by now that any new attire or championship winning figure that happens in the present is a good year or so out from being available. I remember AJ debuting in the Rumble and a number of members took to the forums immediately as if either
a) for some reason they thought there like...wouldn't be one
or
b) it would make Mattel work faster.
