I’m sorry but what on Earth is Bayley’s finisher? She puts someones hand between her legs and faceplants them? Yup 😂 I don’t remember it looking that awkward before but I feel like it’s been a couple of years since I’ve seen it.

WWE busting out the DSLR that smarks think is a magical 8K camera for these intros is awesome. It’s an 8K camera No it isn’t 😂 sports.yahoo.com/not-8k-camera-8k-camera-190354940.htmlOf course WWE could afford to shoot in 8K, but if they did use an 8K camera it wouldn’t magically broadcast 8K on a 4K or HD TV. You’ve gotten confused because sports aren’t usually broadcast with a shallow depth of field. The wider shots literally showed the guy with a DSLR rig in the ring.

4K isn’t doing Bayley any favors let me tell ya what. Show Zoey Stark in 4K and this would be rated M WWE doesn’t shoot or broadcast in 4K.

King/Queen of the Ring confirmed. Probably, but they ran promos for it this time last year too 😂

This has been a really enjoyable show so far. Loving it. Last two matches have been the ones I was least interested in for the whole weekend but they both thoroughly entertained me.

Chris Benoit took an unprotected DDT from Randy Orton on the exposed concrete before they added that extra padding There’s no concrete there, it’s a football field.

I must've missed it or not heard it loud enough. Who's got a new song? AJ

I am very interested in this doc they are promoting right now. Will they give us the real story behind the whole Rock/Roman/Cody cluster F? I think they’ll stick with the storyline version, with some behind the scenes footage making it seem unplanned. I hope they do though, or at least that an in depth account of the real story comes out some time. To me the only thing that makes sense is that CM Punk was originally going to play the Seth Rollins role, and that Seth Rollins would’ve played the Drew McIntyre role. But anything could’ve happened in the World Wrestling Federation.

Surely you would rather wait for them to do an UE down the line based off of her attire last night, imagine the different face sculpts etc with her mad menacing grin. I’d rather have one from 2023 I’d use a Mania 2023 Rhea figure’s head to put on a Goldust or Demon Balor body to make the singer in a Mania 2024 Rhea entrance display.

After so many “Defining Moments” figures that fit the line’s name verrry loosely, Pipebomb CM Punk is one that’s a perfect fit. I’m assuming Money in the Bank 2011 will be a future Ultimate Edition figure as well.
The choice to put out more figures from Punk’s underwhelming Wolverine era is a strange one but I’m sure there are younger fans who have nostalgia for that version.
Good stuff overall!

In 2015, we all said Roman wasn’t the guy and that Vince was wrong. Not all of us.

The women’s tag match was pretty damn good. Exceeded my expectations.
Uso vs Uso, sadly, did not.

That Rhea Ripley entrance was awesome. The singer having her old head was creepy but great. Loved the shallow DOF on the intros as well. What a start to the show!

I definitely understand why a lot of AEWs don’t like Punk right now. Definitely understand why Tony probably doesn’t like him right now. But holy sh** needing everyone in the company to publicly talk about how great it is and the multiple references to Punk made by the Bucks is cringey as hell. It’s at the point where it feels like Punk is still the biggest talking point of the company. Even before the interview. It’s a difficult one. I can understand people’s urge to defend the kid paying their bills, but it’s counterproductive. CM Punk said it’s not a real business and their response is “let’s immediately prove him right!” The most damning part is that they even devoted time on the TV show to doing that. Edge should go back to using the Downward Spiral as his finisher, in reference to how well his current run is going. After the new signings flopped and then the humiliation from Punk that they’ve then made worse for themselves, AEW badly needs something positive to happen. At the very least, they need MJF back asap.
