Honestly, if this is you feeling pushed for time/energy then everyone else here is screwed. This was a beautifully rounded piece. You make your points, you lead us onto ideas for the next RP, you continue to develop Joe's personality and his relationships with your supporting cast without neglecting that his primary role is a wrestler. I think you of all people handle that balance really well. You don't bore me with unnecessary scenes and the way you keep your stuff flowing is really natural. Pacing, structure, focus, all of these things are very hard to communicate to newer writers as it can be difficult to put into words, however I feel this is the area you've really nailed down on this current run. I feel an affinity to Bishop as well in that I've always felt a similar way about this place. Too many gimmick/violent/bloody matches and not enough straight wrestling. Maybe that's something I can steer us toward in 2017 now that Rated R and I are taking more control over the results? I have to agree with Brennan that this was better than a lot of things you've done in the past. I can't wait to see how 2017 turns out for Bishop.

I'm kind of like Brennan in that this was a good piece but it did lack a real direction, other than that Frank is now on good terms with Josh. I felt like, given your opponent, you could have used Josh as someone to help you prepare for the match, or some thing that simply tied him in to this match in particular rather than the two stories seeming exclusive from one another. This was really solid work, but nothing particularly amazing. I think your best work ame out during the monologue at the end as you found your flow etc. Still a damn good showing mate.

Great stuff man. I know we had talked about Trace selling the fed some time ago, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you go RP wise with the character now. This was all solid stuff however I will say I thought the final monologue was just a bit bland. It was serviceable, sure, but it just came off a bit generic to me and didn't pack much of a punch. All of the scenes etc though were well executed.

Totally agree with Brennan here in that this felt like a small part of a larger finished piece. What you had here was good but you never really gave yourself any room to make it come to life. Instead we got enough of a monologue to pique our interest but nothing more comes of it because it finishes so soon. I'm not saying you should have written some lengthy masterpiece, but you need to at least give the reader enough content to get their teeth into and enjoy your character.

This was a good debut piece man. You set up answering the fundamental questions like who is Austin Hayes and why is he here? You've introduced us to your supporting cast, and you've shown an interesting divide between the real life Austin and the guy people will see on the TV. Not a whole lot for me to say about this really other than a couple of nitpicks. I know you were short on time but the mistakes throughout this piece kept breaking my flow when I was reading, also be careful with how you use the D&D aspect of the character. As Brennan said, it could be interesting and different, however I don't want it to become the focal point of your RPs as it winds up as me reading some fantasy fan fiction, and I seriously don't enjoy that lol.

All the matches are being written by Rated R and me. They're only summaries though, maybe one short paragraph in length, so unless it's something really important that effects the outcome of the match whataver details you need inserting in the match may not be relevant.

Put your bets in now for what wild animal i use to maul them with. Dare I say....................a wolf? Whilst the irony makes this a strong contender I feel a more festive approach is necessary. Mob of penguins? A lone Polar Bear? Maybe even a pair of rutting reindeer?

Yeah, I love Zack personally but I can see why some people wouldn't.
Man. Going to BOLA is the dream. Me and my brother want to plan a trip state side just to coincide with it.

Right, so I've been lucky to have seen about all of 'em - WWE, WCW, ECW (the original product), ROH, and more than a few shows from this local trash bag promotion that featured its owner and booker routinely feuding with a guy in a f*cking Predator costume. I've never been at a loss for a varied, live wrestling experience. Last night, I watched a wrestling show in a movie theater. No sh*t - we've got this little mini chain around here that has this setup where you sit in the theater in leather, Lincoln Towncar seats at these big long tables and they serve you food and you watch your movie. It's a gimmick, but it's a good all in one bit. Last night, they decided to have wrestling. In the theater. Like, with a real live ring. It was wild. The theaters are like two tiered, so there's a bit of a pitch to let you still see the screen if you're toward the back. They legit just pushed the lower tier tables off to the side, arranged the seats facing inward, and left the upper tier as is, and that's where we wound up spending a Wednesday night. In a movie theater. Eating greasy pub food. Sucking down pitchers of soft drinks. Watching local, independent wrestling. The best part? All this sounds like the sort of trickery you'd expect out of your 5th rate, budget ass local promotion, yeah? This is the fed that gave you Sasha Banks, Kofi Kingston, and Damien Sandow. I don't even know man. Sh*t ruled, though. Man that sounds bloody awesome. Not been to a show for over 6 months but I did just book tickets to go to London for a Rev Pro event with Zack Sabre Jr vs. Marty Scurl (in a pay off match for a long feud) and also Shibata from NJPW is going to be there. That's all I know so far.

Is that the official show name: "End of Year Show"? Kinda lacks the usual impact. Anyway, I will have a short Frank Lynn promo segment for the show as well as the usual RP. I was personally campaigning for "14th Annual Holiday Throwaway Show That Struggles for Participation", but some felt that packed too much impact. The world isn't ready for that kind of thing yet.

No need for match writers this go around as me and Trace are road testing the new summary style for results so we can turn it around ourselves in a couple of days. We do however still need segs/interviews etc from you guys to be spliced in between the matches on the results.
Also we want people to make more use of WFWF.com for interviews etc as we're planning a big overhaul of the system. We'll make an announcement regarding that in the next day or two though.

LIVE from Madison Square Garden, New York, New York! The Main Event!--------------------------------------------------- Joe Bishop vs. Cameron StoneJoe Bishop and Cameron Stone have been two of the most impressive competitors in 2016, culminating in two huge matches at the biggest show of the WFWF calendar, Superbrawl. But where Joe Bishop succeeded in vanquishing The Future Cameron Stone came up short in his attempt to win his first WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. Now the two of them come face to face on the final show of the year. Joe Bishop will be looking to prove that the only thing in the WFWF’s future is his personal revolution and while Cameron Stone hasn’t slighted Bishop in the same way as some of his recent opponents he still stands in his way of ‘saving’ the WFWF, making him as much an enemy as anyone else. But Stone won’t go down without a fight as he looks to reestablish himself following his Superbrawl loss. It’s a match that neither man can afford to lose. Shame one of them has to isn’t it? 2 Angry Dudes--------------------------------------------------- Trace Demon vs. Frank LynnTrace Demon is not a happy man. At Superbrawl he was all ready and set to become a three time WFWF World Heavyweight Champion inside the Elimination Chamber when, out of nowhere, his supposed ally Drakz rolled him up to eliminate him from the match. As you’d expect the King of Demons didn’t take that too kindly and decimated Drakz inside the chamber, ending their partnership on what most would call a sour note. Now, with that devastating failure weighing heavily in his mind Trace Demon isn’t wasting any time in getting back into the ring to take out some of his anger. Frank Lynn might have impressed since debuting here in the WFWF, including a valiant Superbrawl debut despite coming up short himself, but he might just find that the pure ferocity of a demons anger is too much for even him to overcome. One thing’s for certain, this match isn’t going to be as simple as 1… 2… 3 Grab the Bison by the Horns--------------------------------------------------- Austin Hayes vs. Brandon BisonAustin Hayes makes his debut tonight for the WFWF against the man who shuns the pre-show. Brandon Bison won his eliminator on the Superbrawl IX pre-show and catapulted himself into the Golden Opportunity ladder match. He may have come up short, but so did 4 other men. His victory earlier in the night though has put his division on check. The question is can Austin Hayes make a statement against this rising star? North Pole Street Fight!--------------------------------------------------- Mantis Toboggan vs. Dustin Kemp vs. Vass the Slayer vs. Trevor WolfeBaubles, candy canes, snowflakes, thumbtacks. One of those are not like the other. It’s Christmas here in the WFWF and we’re celebrating the only way we know how, by throwing multiple men in a single match and letting them beat the hell out of each other with whatever Christmas themed weaponry they can find. Have you looked under that ring recently? Santa’s elves have been busy, but at least three of these men aren’t going to be all that happy when they open their presents in the first ever North Pole Street Fight. Roleplay Deadline: Sunday December 18th, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST Promo Deadline: Tuesday December 20th, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST

WFWF.com Reports! From the office of Lila Sleater:"It is with great excitement that WFWF shares with you the direction for the company as we ring in the new year. Having no clear direction to take the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship picture, with the last man eliminated at Superbrawl IX, Samael Ahriman, officially retired and the abhorrent actions of one Michael Kyzer certainly not putting him in line as a contender for the most prestigious prize this industry has, we have decided to present to you a league based tourney.""10 entrants have already been selected to compete as two groups of 5. Each competitor will wrestle every other superstar in his or her group in singles competition each week until all combatants have fought, with points being awarded for victories and time limit draws. At the end of this stage the superstar with the highest score from each group will compete against one another in the finals to decide who is the next true #1 contender for WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Drakz.
We will announce the 10 entrants throughout the course of our end of year show with more information to follow on WFWF.com such as brackets, interviews and any updates as the tourney progresses."
