In reply to Enrique from Mattel, this new scale he's talking about which would be 3 and 3/4 inch figures...
Only if this new scale would deliver the same as the other basic and elite lines in every way, shape, and form...I'm talking detail, articulation, accessories, rings, playsets(non-flexforce or rumbler-ish!), depth of roster, including legends...basically mirror and maybe even take further what basic and elite lines are doing...I'd be all in, but only on that scale that we'd get with these smaller figures all that we'd get with the current basics and elites. Now I know that this new scale wouldn't replace the basics and elites, that's not where I'm getting at...but with me if they turned out like I've said, they would. I think they'd be cheaper, and I'd sure have more room for them all, just me personally speaking.
I'm sure there are differing opinions on this, but that's just mine.

Mattel, firstly you are AWESOME! Here is my question: Could we ever see the ring posts of the 12 inch rings the right color, like Raw's are white, Smackdown's are silver, etc. for every ring you put out and how about some steel steps for them? Even mats for the outside of the rings?

actually there is...with Randy, you could have either a suit(to replicate his celebration the next night on Raw) or an Evolution shirt, and for Rey he really NEEDS to come with that Eddie tribute t-shirt, maybe real material pants, and Edge just like you said. That's specifically what I was thinking. Same thing with past Cena's as well. Even Batista from WM21 you could have the wrestling gear underneath with a suit and the World Title, maybe even the 2 contracts for both Raw and Smackdown when he had to decide.

In my opinion, some of the Heritage series figures could, and quite frankly deserve, to be Defining Moments figures. At least Rey winning the Royal Rumbe, Orton winning the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam '04, Edge winning the 1st Money in the Bank, etc. I like these figures but they're just things missing with them, like the figures seem incomplete, and I think Defining Moments would correct this. Again, my opinion. Maybe something to ponder going forward.

or how about this also...more realistic superstar rings (I.E. colored posts, ring steps) I really wish the Raw ring had white posts and Smackdown has silver, Summerslam red, etc. Why can't they just paint those freakin' things?
And I really wish they'd blow Elites completely out of the water, I mean go BIG with them. Those are my like "dream" figures that I've always wanted to be made since I was a kid buying LJN and Hasbro(btw, I'm 29) but the only problems I have with them is that there aren't enough of them to match the basics(which is why i would love to see 2 packs), and they need to make those jackets(I.E. Edge, Miz, Taker) to be more flexible so we can pose with their arms instead of the arms just down at their sides. I love the texture of them though. I know a lot of us just stick with the Elite lines. I personally find it better on my wallet and I don't have massive clutter of figures, cuz I have literally thousands of figures from the 80's on and I only have so much room to store them, ya know what I'm sayin? And in some cases I'm like...why do I have so many HBK's, or Austin's, etc.
And i want a super freakin' kick@$$ entrance stage that lights up like the real one and audio/video capability like with an mp3 player or something, I think they mentioned trying to do that a while back.

Yeah. I wouldn't care if they were online only, I'd still buy them. That would be cool with me. Just wish they'd make them. Agree with all of the above.

...if I were Mattel or any other toy company in charge of the WWE line, I'd get rid of the basic this, elite that, kind of stuff and just have and concentrate on one line and make everything just for that line. My figures would be like the basics except that the legs would be able to go outward like the elites, and I'd sell add-on accessories such as shirts, jackest, entrance gear, weapons, character-specific props online seperately for a couple bucks. And the rings I'd have would be sort of an annex between the elite scale and superstar rings. I'd make the superstar ring a little bigger(or scale ring a little smaller, whichever floats your boat) with all the removable real parts that the elite ring has and again, add on's such as ringskirts, ropes, posts, steps, security wall(wwehd logo in corners, heck of a lot sturdier), announce table(w/show specific covers) etc. sold online as well. And of course every cage, cell, chamber, ppv setup WWE has. And I'd do the same for the Legends also. Same figs, same rings, etc. just old school.
I hate that there are 2 lines that we have to go back and forth between just to get all that we want in our collection, whether it be belts, attire, updated looks, etc. I definitely know this is wishful thinking and it will never happen, but in my perfect world that's what I'd do. Just thought I'd share.
Oh, one more thing...entrance stages!!!

...we get more aprons, ropes, posts, and etc for the Elite Scale ring for different shows, PPVs, and matches! That's too cool of a ring to leave it at just Raw from 2 years ago.

since it wasn't clearly answered in the videos, how long before we see other aprons, topes, posts, etc. for the elite scale ring and how long before we see an entrance set? and btw i love that you're doing the basic ppv rings, just wish they were elite, but all in all satisfying.

the more elite's the better, they are literally the figures i'd make if i was a toy company, my dream figures if you will, and i want everybody...ever.

I second the motion for mattycollector.com or ringside, or spam.com along with other accessories like weapons and the attire the figures come with, and accessories for the elite scale ring such as smackown, nxt, ppv decos.

Just thought of some old school ring ideas. Like the ringside battle playset but only old school w/a red, white, and blue roped old school ring(much like the one on the old school raw is what i have in mind with the 3 logos on the sides) with old styled steel railings and stuff.
Also they could make other old school superstar rings, or legend rings whichever you'd wanna call them like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, Summerslam, Survivor Series, maybe even Sat. Night's Main Event, things like that. And I'd want the old blue steel cage with probably the Main Event one as well.
Also other current PPV rings/ playsets. TLC ring with of course, tables, ladders, and, you guessed it, chairs. Bragging Rights w/ a Buried Alive setup would be cool. Money in the Bank w/all kinds of ladders and a way to hold briefcases/belts. Hell in a Cell w/...duh. And just every other PPV ring in the year with the appropriate accessories. I still say I want updated barricades w/the WWEHD logo on them and different show covers for the announce table.
And we're missing a WWE Superstars ring and NXT ring. Tribute to the Troops too. Maybe that could be a cool playset with the ring and other props.
And I can't wait for an entrance set, but make sure it can go with every show WWE has, like you can switch out what logo it has. I think all of this would be super cool, and none of it Elite Scale as we don't have the room for that. I'd just like to be able to switch out my rings and logos and stuff to go along with tv.
And Enrique mentioned something a while back about just having the clothing/accessories to buy by themselves. Do this!
Thanks guys.

You know, I just realized that to make an elite scale entrance, the tron would be as big as my hd tv...so...probably cancel that one.

Also, the talk shows of WWE. Setups for those w/Elite figures to match as well. Piper's Pit, the VIP Lounge, The Body Shop, The Barber Shop, Snake Pit, etc. All of them. Current and classic interview sets would be cool, too.
