The new figures we've seen today look great. And that new ring! How long, how freaking long have we wanted something better than the Superstar Rings?! It is GLORIOUS! Just hope it doesn't stop with Raw. Hope we also get SDLive, NXT, Wrestlemania, any other shows. Or at least be able to swap out logos, ropes, etc. Mattel, as always, you are awesome.

I think 16X16(ish) would be ideal. Also, the right color of ring posts for those of us who want accuracy. I'm not talking an actual LED board on the side, but something that would simulate it for a toy. Like, it lights up or something like that. That's absurd to think otherwise.

With how WWE's rings now have the LED boards on them, I think it's a great time for Mattel to redesign their rings. Is anybody else just bored with rings they have now? If I were to design one, I wouldn't go Authentic Scale, although those are great, too. I would incorporate some features from it though and combine that with what Mattel makes now. I'm not much a fan of the cloth mats. I do like the removable aprons, turnbuckles, steps, things like that. I would make the ring size somewhere between what we have now from Mattel(which is too small) and the Authentic Scale(which could be considered too big). And I'd also make the LED board on the apron some kind of electronic feature that lights up the show logos or something. Just kind of throwing that out there. I just think Mattel needs to make better and more realistic rings.

Just posting my opinion...since we're having such a difficult time getting the Paul Bearer BOF lines in, I'm really hoping that Mattel calls an audible and finds another way to release him, maybe in the Hall of Fame line? Just thought that was worth posting. Thanks! Looks like this is going to be another outstanding year for WWE figures, folks!

Is expanding the Flashback offerings still in the realm of possibility?
Will there ever be more realistic, and slightly bigger, WWE Mattel rings?

Yeah, that's kind of like what I was thinking with the beads, but I couldn't come across anything big enough, or plastic, or what have you. Just wondering if anybody else had any ideas.

Does anybody know of anything you can buy at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, etc. that can simulate the little white turnbuckles on the AWA Remco ring?

Like I said, just want to tell Bill and everybody at Mattel and WWE thanks for all this great stuff. Year after year it just blows us away and I'm a lifelong collector. This stuff never gets old! 3 cheers to WWE and Mattel!

What is the status of that blue Legends ring we saw last time around?
When are we ever going to get Magnum T.A.?
Any old school rings/sets planned?
Will we ever see a better, more realistic basic ring?
Any chance of Flashbacks getting their own line?
Any chance of any ECW Flashbacks? NXT line?

I hope it does well that we get this line back. I would love to see Hogan, Sting, and others, but specifically a Daniel Bryan from WMXXX w/new head, t-shirt, rally towel, and both titles and gear from that night.

Praise: the overall quality and detail of the figures. It's just outstanding and the best we've ever seen. Complaint: lack of completion in the Elite line with regards to both current Superstars and Legends, and some un-needed repetition in the Elite line as well (IE Orton, Mysterio, Triple H). Let's get some fresh faces in there!

Really, this is one of the best Elite sets yet. Each figure looks freaking awesome! Can't believe how well they turned out. Pat yourself on the back, Bill and Mattel. Here's my money...

And, if I had a deeper wallet, it wouldn't matter cuz I'd buy everything regardless, but I, and I'm guessing that most of us are in this group, don't have a deep wallet. We do this on a budget of sorts. I know I can't afford everything WWE/Mattel puts out. I, as a lifelong fan and collector, just want the very best we can get based also on the average income, if it's even average.

Also, just interjecting this, you have to consider that Elites don't fill out the entire roster like basics do. I'm a completionist. I want the entire roster. I wish it was all Elite. I actually hate having to buy basics just to get certain Superstars and Divas they won't make in Elite. I also hate that, we don't know what's coming out in Elite down the line. So, when they first announce basic figures of say The Shield, Fandango, Big E, etc., of course I want those figures ASAP. Then, I get them and then here come the Elites, which I would've wanted in the first place. Anybody else not like that either?

Just like the question says. To me, I do love the look and realism of the basic figures. It's just a shame they don't come with Elite style accessories. That is the reason why I collect Elites, is for the gear they come with. I'm not crazy about the added articulation on the Elites, either. That's another reason why I like the basics.
So, with that in mind, What do you think? Am I alone in this? What if Mattel did away with Elites and just made the basic style figures but included their gear just as if they were Elites? Or made the gear purchasable(If that's a word) without having to buy more figures just to get it? And, what about Flashbacks? If they were to do the same with them, I'd be cool with that. Just as long as they come complete. But, I can see where we've already come so far with them the way they are that no one would want to change. I see that point.
Just starting a convo here. Tell me what you think? Should be interesting.

The Macho's I want (Elite, of course): WM3, WM5, nWo Wolfpac, that should be IT. On a side note, since they want to make a million Warriors too: WM12 After those, let's be done with Savage's and Warriors.
