Hey guys, I'm considering making this the first UFC ppv I order, I was just wondering how long does the telecast normally go for? Is it just as long as the fights take or do they have a set time and just fill in any leftover time with the preliminary bounts (I heard they show some of the other fights sometimes). Thanks for those who can help, I'm reckon I will get it, as I'm really looking forward to the prospect. We get the Ultimate Fighter down here and have been a fan or Forest's since I first saw him in the original, and I hope he beats Evans (who I wasn't a big fan of when he was on the show). In fact I'm shocked Evans has a perfect record in the UFC, I honestly didn't think he was good enough to garner such a record.

Usually the main-event is a title fight which could go up to 5- 5 minute rounds which is 25 minutes so if the main event ends early due to a KO or submission then they show some fights from the fights that were not aired. It is worth the money because they replay the PPV right after the three hours is up.

In fact I'm shocked Evans has a perfect record in the UFC, I honestly didn't think he was good enough to garner such a record. It's 100% worth it. They show the main card, and if that goes quick, they show a prelim fight before or after the main event. You can see between 1 to 3 prelim fights if everything ends fast. It goes for 3 hours, for me in the east coast it goes from 10pm to 1am. I don't know about Australia though. Speaking of ordering, I'll order this show as a Christmas present, maybe in HD. Silva/Rampage is the real main event for me because their first two fights were incredible.

Okay, I'll be over around 8 or so, so just leave the door unlocked... ...what? I'm in Rome, won't take me long.

Thanks to both Sandman and Hollywood Hero for your help. I've decided I'm going to treat myself to the show as a christmas present to myself haha. It airs down here Sunday at 2pm, with replays at 6:30pm and 10:30pm, so I'll be able to catch it just after I come back from church which is good. I'm happy to hear about the preliminary fight stuff, as a bunch of quick finishes, while entertaining, could make me feel a bit jipped out of the cash, so if they take up to the right time with other fights from the night I'm happy to hear that. Thanks again guys, and come on Griffin!

Apperantly, Wanderlei and Rampage had a confrontation at the weigh-ins today. I didn't see the video, but from what has been reported, Rampage did his howl and the Josh Barrnett throat slit gesture. Then the two had a mean staredown. Rampage said something to Silva that pissed him off and Wanderlei shoved Page. Then they had to have people break them up.
Man, I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE THIS FIGHT AGAIN!

Rampage looks to be in MUCH better shape than he was when he fought Forrest.

Man, I am SOOOOO pumped for this fight card. This has the making for PPV of the year, and even PPV of the last several years!
Rarely has a PPV conflicted me as much as this one in regards to the main events.
My heart says Mir, my head says Nog. Heart says Forrest, head Rashad. Heart Rampage, head Wanderlei.
Despite what others would say, I can honestly see all three main fights going either way, and doing so in dominating and otherwise breathtaking fashion. This card's potential is off the charts, here's hoping it lives up to expectations.

Rampage doesn't have a ing prayer. He's done for already and he knows it. He's probably terrified of Wanderlei. I know I would be. I mean, if I got ing descimated twice before by the same guy, he's the absolute last guy I'd want to fight again for a 3rd time. That is, unless you like getting your ass kicked, which Rampage will have happen once again. I mean, the two times before were pretty friggin' convincing. Oh well, I'm sure Wanderlei is more than ready and willing to do it a 3rd time. Wanderlei all the ing way. It should be a war and I for one, cannot wait!! It's almost here!!

I bet if you hadnt had so much hatrid for Rampage after his Rampage incedent you would not bash him this much. Silva does not look as good as he did in Pride. Rampage looks alot BETTER then he looks in Pride. Im not saying Rampage is going to destroy Silva but im saying that this is not going to be the Silva massacre you think it is. We will just have to wait and see. I would not be suprised ifeither man won this fight and I cant wait to see it!!!

Rampage does NOT look better now, than he did in pride. Wandy all the way. - SouthPaw Yes he does. In his last few fights he looks alot better and now especially since he is living better eating better and is training with a good camp he has all the chance in the world. If and when he wins I cant wait to see all of the people who counted him out eat their words. I would not mind either man winning it. I just dont like the fact that everyone counts him out. We will all see tonight I guess..
