I'm probably in the minority, but even being a HUGE fan of Griffin, I'm most looking forward to Mir/Nog tonight.

This is defenatly one of the top events of the year, in the top 5. I think #1 was UFC 91. My opinion though.

Well it really depends how it goes. Everyone thought UFC 61 would be amazing but it sucked a big one.

Rampage doesn't have a  ing prayer. He's done for already and he knows it. He's probably terrified of Wanderlei. I know I would be. I mean, if I got ing descimated twice before by the same guy, he's the absolute last guy I'd want to fight again for a 3rd time. That is, unless you like getting your ass kicked, which Rampage will have happen once again. I mean, the two times before were pretty friggin' convincing. Oh well, I'm sure Wanderlei is more than ready and willing to do it a 3rd time. Wanderlei all the ing way. It should be a war and I for one, cannot wait!! It's almost here!! I'm just quoting you so if Rampage gets the win you don't come running to the forums to change what you said. ;D I agree with dream. I don't think Wanderlei is as impressive in the UFC as he has been in Pride. He is still amazing, still one of my favorite fighters of all time but he isn't the wrecking machine that he was in Pride. Rampage on the other hand has way better standup than he did in Pride and he has been displaying it in every fight so far in the UFC. His wrestling is better and he is working with better camps now. He wasn't getting the proper training in Pride he was basically just using his raw strength and natural ability in hopes of winning fights. And it worked, but you can only powerslam guys so much until other fighters build up a defense to that. I think Rampage has a very good chance of beating Wanderlei and I am even pulling for him. But if Wanderlei wins I'm not going to come in here and say "Oh well it is because Rampage has so much going on right now and if Joe Silva would have made this fight when his life calmed down than he would have won"...NO. But I know for a fact all the guys saying Rampage is going to get KTFO are going to be making all kinds of excuses if he does beat Wandy.. it will be Wanderlei is too old.. Wanderlei took Rampage too lightly or Rampage got lucky. If Rampage wins it will not be attributed to the fact that he is simply better now than before |

Wanderlei isn't the wrecking machine he was before in Pride? Did you watch his last fight? Every fighter goes through a rough patch in their career and I think that is now been put behind Wanderlei with the wrecking of Jardine.
I'll give Page his props, he has much better stand up than he did in Pride. But, there is always that one guy that has your number. Chuck has Tito's, Fedor has Nog's, Page has Chuck's and I feel that Wanderlei has Page's. He's demonstrated that twice. Plus, with all the outside circumstances and the questionable status of Page's head, that's a lot for him to overcome in a fight.
BUT, if Page does win, it'll be the greatest night of his career. He finally vanquishes Wanderlei Silva, and silences the doubters(including myself) that he's back.

Im psyched already!! On the Pre Lims Matt Hamill beat Reese Andy via TKO in rd 2. Being a huge Hamill fan this gets me pumped. Hopefully this win will merit him a main card fight now..

Mazagati (sp), any other ref would have stopped that almost as soon as he hit the ground, none the less after Kongo hit him 5 or 6 times. They wouldn't let him get consistant shots and elbows in. |

I'm not counting Rampage out, I just believe history will strike again and Wanderlei will defeat him. wow...nobody giving Rampage some love...  That's because Wanderlei obliterated him twice before.
