-Good opening promo. It'll be interesting to see if Jericho manages to reclaim it. -The DiBiases and Masters make an interesting tandem. Decent match. -Beth Phoenix beating Layla was expected. Nothing wrong so far. -World Heavyweight Champion Kofi Kingston.....it's got a little ring to it. Kingston beating Barett is a good call by DQ. Jericho's involvement is the best good touch you could have. Jericho/Kofi at The Bash sounds great. -Good mic time by Swagger. Khali attacked is interesting. -Edge beating Swagger that quick I'm not huge on as Swagger needs more credibility. -Interesting. Another pledge to SES. Mercury should be good in SES. -Jericho beating Show really makes him look strong for his WHC Match. -Good SmackDown.

- Kofi vs Jericho at The Bash shall be good. - Interesting 6 man tag, glad DiBiase's and Masters got the win. - Beth defeating Layla is definitely the right call as Layla is nothing tbh. - Glad to see Kingston win by DQ as Jericho and Barrett would do something like that. - Disappointed in Swagger jobbing out to Edge, but I hope this will be like a losing streak turned to domination. - Great promo from Punk with the SES and Mercury defeating MVP I am very pleased to see happen. - Good call on Jericho defeating Show as it is the much better decision at this point. Also like Show's rage on Kofi/Edge.
Good show.

-Not a fan of Kofi asking for the video to be replayed, seems heelish. Loved Jericho just saying "hand it over". Their match at The Bash should be very good -Good opening contest, though I didn't see the point of Chris Masters being involved -Beth winning makes sense and that Triple Threat Women's match sounds like it will be great -There really seems to be a lot of Kofi & Jericho on this show -Interesting to have some dissension between Barrett & Jericho. Hopefully Kofi gets some main event matches in the future to really show he's the biggest part of the brand -Swagger taking out The Great Khali was great, but I totally dislike Edge squashing Swagger. I hate when WWE does it in real life and I hate it here -Awesome Straight Edge Society promo, and so glad Mercury won. Adding to the Society only strengthens it -Matt's attack on his brother was good, but I feel like this feud has been done to death -Good main event, I like the post match stuff with Show chokeslamming everyone
Good episode of Smackdown, just some things I disliked

SmackDown: - Nice little enjoyable opening segment, nothing surprising but you set up Kingston/ Jericho for The Bash nicely. - Odd six man tag match, seemed a little out of place but it builds the DiBiase/ McIntyre feud well. - Decent Diva's match, good to see Beth looking dominant. The triple threat match should be solid. - Jericho interfering in Kingston's match makes sense, and I'm feeling that Wade's going to turn on Jericho and go solo very soon. - Nice little segment with Swagger, although I'm surprised how your booking him since I'd have thought you'd have made him look like a credible contender. Still, it builds Edge up nicely. - Mercury was always going over here just to officially get him on the roster, but you used it well to continue the MVP/ CM Punk feud. - Nice short segment with the Hardy's, I'm expecting a match at The Bash or Summerslam between the two. - Great main event, you set up a lot of pieces for the main event scene here. It'll be interesting to see what you've got planned with the Big Show, I can potentially see Jericho/ Edge and Kingston/ Big Show for Summerslam.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 3rd July 2010...A pretty set up for WWE Superstars this week, Trent Barreta beating Goldust. It makes a start for Barreta and Caylen Croft as it could start their rise for definite. Matt Hardy's move to SmackDown definitely gets us prepared to see another rivalry between Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. The Hardys I reckon will explode for SummerSlam. Solid opening promo to start up the program too with Kofi Kingston, the new World Heavyweight Champion in the ring. Nice mention with Kofi cashing in Money in the Bank last week, and a rematch between Kingston and Chris Jericho is basically a must and probably will occur at The Bash. Jericho acting in the exact same manner as he did when Jack Swagger won the belt after cashing it in this year is not a good thing though: it is slightly out of character for Jericho to act like that. Ted Dibiase, Brett Dibiase and Chris Masters had a great six-man tag team win against Drew McIntyre, Carlito and Zack Ryder: the midcard scene on SmackDown is pretty great at the moment. Beth Phoenix beating Layla was likely, a good yet easy win for Beth to resume the feud with Michelle McCool. A weak first-hour main event, as if you ask me, it is too soon for Wade Barrett to be at this level, and a little subpar for the new World Heavyweight Champion to compete and win by only a disqualification in his first match as champ. Attack from Jericho however was nice. Edge and Jack Swagger is a real first-hour main event. Would have been a great match here and the pre-bout promo from wagger was great. But I hate Swagger's losing in so fast timing, no matter how good it makes Edge look. I hope this leads to a rivalry. Awesome promo from CM Punk about MVP once again, pretty nice win for Joey Mercury against MVP but not too grand for MVP who is meant to look equal to Punk in this rivalry (probably ending at SummerSlam) but he can't even beat his second/third hand man. Lastly, great Jerishow explosion, good win for Chris Jericho against Big Show in a nice match. And as expected, Matt attacks Jeff. A solid show, involvement from Edge was nice. A solid show, but the main event situation is mildly confusing.

WWESmackDown!: Good start to the opening segment with new World Champion, Kofi Kingston. I lol'd at Jericho telling Kofi to 'hand it over'. Kofi vs. Jericho is a great addition to the Bash, looking forward ro that one. Kinda happy Kofi ended the segment on a high, since he's new Champion. Interesting tag match to start off, kinda just threw people in there. Glad the Dibiase's picked up the victory, I can see Ted vs. Drew for the Bash, maybe. Good segment with Jericho and Barrett, I'd like to see you turjn Edge heel sometime, I know this is your diary and not the WWE but I always thought he performed better as a heel. Triple Threat at the Bash is fine, never have been really interested in Divas Matches though. Kofi over Barrett is good with the DQ, as it keeps Wade and Kofi strong. Dunno about Jericho attackinmg Kingston so early in the show though. Maybe Kofi vs. Barrett would've been better as the main event. Khali being laid out is good for Swagger's character, something he would do, I'm expecting a replacement. Not sure on the qick win for Edge, it's realistic but bad for Swagger, but I'm sure you've got all this planned out. I liked Show's interview. Joey Mercury making the Straight Edge Pledge is good, Mercury over MVP is good aswell, gets Joey over as a strong competitor upon his return. Glad Jeff is on the show, would've liked more though, Hardy attacking is good, I cans ee TLC for SummerSlam. Jericho slyly winning the main event was the way to go, wondering what Edge and Show will be doing at the Bash though. Oh right, there you go Show vs. Edge I guess. A heel turn was goood there. Great enjoyable show to kick off the reign of the first Ghanian World Champion (I believe).

July 5th, 2010 - Nashville, Tennessee; Game Reboot
Shelton Benjamin w/ Shad Gaspard def. Kane Gaspard provided some help to his team-mate. While Benjamin distracted the referee, Shad would drop Kane on the outside with the Shad Taking Over, rolling Kane back and and then Benjamin hitting the Paydirt for the victory.
Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian Gail Kim picked up the victory when she hit Burchill with the Eat Defeat.
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- Pyrotechnics explode from the stage and we are welcomed to the show by Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler. They remind us of the previously scheduled Main Event which will put the team of the WWE Champion, Sheamus, Batista and Ezekiel Jackson against John Cena, Randy Orton and the United States Champion, Christian. They were also about to remind us of Bret Hart's return, but we are cut off by his music to a massive pop. He comes out to a huge ovation, looking healed from his attack two weeks ago. He enters the ring and starts to speak to the WWE Universe.
- Bret Hart says that two weeks ago, he was brutally assaulted backstage by the thugs we simply know as the 'Masked Men'. He then confirms that these Masked Men will go head-to-head with The Hart Dynasty at The Bash in a non-title match. Bret says that he has upped the security for tonight's event, and anyone who looks suspicious or is not contracted to the Raw brand will be removed and then restricted from the building. Hart says that there should be no Masked attacks tonight with his security in order. Hart says that if they do manage to get in, he has some fellow Raw superstars ready to protect the brand and they will happily fight for us. Hart says that tonight, Tyson Kidd will compete in a warm-up match against Vladimir Kozlov. He then goes on to say that to swing the mood a bit and prevent tonight from been a morbid show, he is announcing that Christian will defend the United States Championship at The Bash against Ezekiel Jackson. Hart thanks the Tennessee crowd and then leaves as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for tomorrow night's WWE NXT. It advertises that the remaining seven Rookies will compete in a Keg Carrying Challenge to determine who receives immunity from the next WWE Pro's Poll. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
R-Truth w/ Mark Henry def. The Miz w/ Alex Riley | Things are definitely not looking good for The Miz at the moment. He hasn't picked up a victory on Raw for a very long time, in fact, his only win at all was in a tag team match on WWE NXT. This match was very similar to his previous matches, and Bryan Danielson once again got the better of The Miz on this account. Miz was looking extremely over, acting cocky when he had Truth down, but Danielson appeared on the titantron suddenly, chuckling. This distracted The Miz. Danielson simply said "See you at The Bash... oh, and turn around...". Miz did exactly that and walked into a Lie Detector from R-Truth, followed by a cover for the victory. Danielson remained on the titantron chuckling as the crowd cheered. R-Truth and Mark Henry celebrate as The Miz has yet another tantrum, just like previous weeks on Raw. Danielson waves on the titantron and it cuts off as we fade backstage. |
- Bret Hart is backstage, looking a little banged up. He is alongside Kidd, Smith and Natalya, The Hart Dynasty. Natalya asks Bret is he's okay and he says he's fine, but he clearly isn't he sits down in a chair and Natalya comforts him, saying he needs to get checked out, and he shouldn't have come back yet. Bret says that he needed to be hear to set up the security system and stop McMahon and the Masked Men from doing anymore damage. They are rudely interrupted by Maryse and April Lee who walk in with smirks on their faces. Natalya tells them that now isn't a great time, but Maryse says she doesn't care, and says that she has word from Mr. McMahon that they have a Divas Championship match... right now. Maryse and Lee leave with grins on their faces as Natalya looks on in shock and then looks at her Uncle Bret. Bret says he can't do anything about it if Vince has made the decision. Bret pats Natalya on the back and wishes her luck. David Hart Smith opts to go out with her while Kidd looks after Bret. They leave and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We see a promo package for WWE The Bash, airing on the 18th of July, 2010. We then return to Raw.
Divas Championship - Natalya [C] w/ David Hart Smith def. Maryse w/ April Lee | Natalya was struggling to get focused, clearly still worrying about her Uncle Bret, despite him been in the care of Tyson Kidd. Maryse took advantage of Natalya's lack of focus and dominated most of the match, however, Natalya's will and heart allowed her to fight back at Maryse. April Lee made the attempt to get involved, but David Hart Smith noticed her and grabbed her and pulled her off the apron, comically holding her over his shoulder and smiling as the crowd laughed. Natalya saw this and chuckled herself, finishing Maryse off with a huge Discus Clothesline for the victory. NAtalya celebrates, still Divas Champion, standing along with David Hart Smith, but suddely, the lights go off, the titantron kicks into action and we viewers are taken backstage. |
- We see Tyson Kidd laid out in Bret Hart's office, but Bret Hart himself is nowhere to be seen. We cut back to ringside where we see Natalya and David Hart Smith rushing backstage before we fade to a promo package.
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring Raw superstar, John Cena. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Tyson Kidd sat in a chair holding the back of his head while Natalya and Smith question him as to what happened. Kidd says that one second he was talking to Bret, the next he was laid out and as he was on the floor, he saw them taking off with Bret. Kidd says they need to go and find him before something bad happens. Natalya tells Smith to go and find him while she watches Tyson. Smith rushes off and we fade further backstage.
- Josh Mathews is standing by with John Cena to a massive pop. Cena is seen looking extremely worried. Mathews asks Cena what he thinks to this horrifying situation that Bret Hart may have been 'kidnapped'. Cena says that this is getting out of hand. He says "First it was attacks from behind, then it was attacking the Harts, and now it's resulted in kidnapping". Cena says that at The Bash, he hopes that The Hart Dynasty can even this up for the WWE and defend their family and the WWE Universe. Cena then says that he's got spare time before his Main Event match tonight, and he's going to try and find out how those attackers got into the building, around the security. We then fade to ringside as Cena walks off.
Cody Rhodes & Dolph Ziggler def. John Morrison & Evan Bourne | Although they haven't always exactly been able to see eye-to-eye, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler have been paired up a lot recently, and tonight, they had luck on their side. John Morrison and Evan Bourne were looking to once again defeat their rivals, but with a few clever moves and admittadely some cheating, Rhodes and Ziggler pulled off a swift one. John Morrison was the legal man with Dolph Ziggler at the time, and Morrison was about to go for Starship Pain, but Rhodes grabbed onto Morrison legs and Morrison's head flung backwards into the ring mat. This allowed Ziggler to hook the legs and pick up a quick victory, Bourne thinking that Morrison would kick out. Ziggler and Rhodes fled from ringside with smirks on their faces and quick high-five as Evan Bourne checked on his clearly hurt partner, John Morrison. We then fade to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to Raw to see David Hart Smith with some video tapes, returning to the office of Bret Hart. Natalya asks him if he's found anything, and Smith says he has these security tapes to watch. He turns on the TV and shoves one in, and just like magic, the answer is there. We are shown a shot of two security guys guarding the back entrance to the building. Suddenly, a limousine pulls up and a hand appears out of the window, seemingly handing over two balaclavas to the security guards, much like what the Masked Men wear. The security guards put the masks on and enter the building through the back door. Unfortunately, the faces of the security guards are never shown, and with them in black and white, we couldn't even see any features or colour. This explains how the Masked Men got in the building. Smith shouts that he bets McMahon had something to do with the switching of the security guards. Natalya says she can't wait for them to teach those guys a lesson at The Bash, but Natalya is very worried as to the whereabouts of her Uncle. Smith tells her not to worry and says they'll find him. Tyson Kidd gets up and says he has to go for his match, and leaves with Natalya as Smith wishes him luck. We then fade to ringside.
Vladimir Kozlov def. Tyson Kidd w/ Natalya | This was a pretty wuick match, and Kidd showed the effect of his previous attack. He was groggy in the ring and favouring his neck a lot. Kozlov took advantage of this and was eventually able to finish Kidd off with the Iron Curtain for the victory. Kozlov celebrated as Natalya checked on Kidd in concern. Not looking good for The Hart Dynasty going into The Bash in just over two weeks. We then fade backstage. |
- We see the WWE Champion, Sheamus backstage with Josh Mathews, who asks him the same question he asked John Cena earlier. Sheamus says that it is a shame that Bret Hart has been abducted by these Masked Attackers, but as long as he is the WWE Champion, he doesn't actually care. He gets a lot of heat for this. Mathews asks him if he thinks that's a bit insensitive. Sheamus looks at him and simply walks off as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see Chavo Guerrero backstage with Vickie Guerrero. Chavo is ecstatic about his victory over Santino last week. Vickie is pleased, to saying this is a fresh start for Chavo and soon enough he shall be the United States Champion. Chavo looks at Vickie confused and says "United States Champion? I was thinking more WWE Champion, Aunt Vickie". Vickie looks at Chavo in a way that pretty much says "Really...?". Chavo then says "Oh alright then, I guess United States Championship will have to do for my great ability". Vickie nods and they start to speak again before been interrupted by Santino to a huge pop. He says that last week, Chavo Guerrero didn't defeat him fairly, and he demands a rematch. Vickie says that Santino won't get a rematch tonight, but he can have one next week on Raw. Santino says that will have to do, but if Chavo thinks he is going to be 'Champion of the United States', then he is wrong. Santino then says "Now can you be digging that?..." He walks off as Chavo and Vickie turn to each other and burst out laughing. Suddenly, Santino returns to the screan and shouts "Suckers!", obviously in a rather unusual Booker T reference. Santino then leaves and Chavo and Vickie look shocked. We then fade to ringside.
John Cena, Randy Orton & Christian def. Sheamus, Batista & Ezekiel Jackson w/ William Rega | This was a huge match to Main Event Raw this week, featuring six of Raw's top guys all in the same match. The match kicked off with Batista taking on Christian. Batista dominated the match for the most part, tagging through to Ezekiel Jackson and then after a while, he tagged in the WWE Champion, Sheamus. Sheamus was acting a bit too cocky and this allowed Christian to fight back and make a huge tag to Randy orton, who will be facing Sheamus at The Bash for the WWE Championship. Orton came in and took Sheamus down, then took Ezekiel Jackson off of the apron, but Batista dropped down before Orton could get him. Sheamus gets back up and puts a beating on Orton, but Orton manages to tag in John Cena who explodes in. Sheamus then goes face-to-face with Cena. The two brawl while on the outside, Randy Orton and Batista trade blows, as do Christian and Ezekiel Jackson. Inside the ring, Sheamus takes control, beating Cena down with a huge grin on his face. However, suddenly the lights go off and a video package is aired... It shows a similar coding to what we saw for Chris Jericho back in 2007, but this time in green. It's final words were "REBOOT_GAME" in large, green, digital letters. The lights come back on and Sheamus is staring at the titantron, apparently screaming for Triple H to come and get him. However, he turns around right into John Cena who lifts him up and plants him down with an attitude Adjustment for the three count. The crowd go nuts as John Cena celebrates. Christian and Randy Orton enter the ring away from their respective brawls and celebrate with Cena. |
- Batista and Ezekiel Jackson leave in anger, but Sheamus simply rolls out of the ring staring at the titantron, screaming "I took you out, Hunter, and I'll do it again!" Sheamus leaves with his WWE Championship, but the celebration of Cena, Christian and Orton is cut short as yet again, the titantron jumps into action, this time, showing backstage.
- We see Bret Hart being hoisted into the trunk of a large car in the Parking Lot by the two Masked Men. The smaller one directs the other to get in the car. He does so and starts up the engine. The camera pans around to show another parked car behind the other car, quite a distance away. The Masked Man in the car begins to reverse at high speed and goes right into the side of the parked car to a large gasp of horror from the crowd. We see a shot of the trunk which is completely caved in from the impact. The Masked Man jumps out of the car looking hurt, but the smaller one helps him out and they flee quickly. Raw comes to a halt on a horrifying shot of this indented car which we are lead to believe has Bret Hart inside. Many fans are heard in horror at the event as Raw fades to a close.

- Christian vs Jackson at The Bash shall be good. - Truth defeating Miz I am fine with, just hope Miz wins at The Bash against Danielson. - Natalya retaining against Maryse is good, hope she sticks with this reign and it is a fair one. - Pleased with Ziggler and Rhodes getting the win over Bourne and Morrison, although surprising. - Interesting video tapes going on there... intriguing where Bret Hart is right now. - Kozlov defeating the very weak Kidd is fine, it gives Kozlov something well Kidd is still injured. - I snickered at the Booker T reference from Santino, I could so picture him doing that. - Good main event... hmm... Reboot Game... wonder where you got that from . Good the faces won. - Oh, Bret's in the trunk? Oh, the masked men are driving? Oh, they hit a parked car? Oh... Bret's out. Good Raw.

WWE RAW: Monday 5th July 2010...Great match for Superstars with Shelton Benjamin and Kane, but really worthy for RAW. I expect some low parts to this upcoming edition of RAW with these two/three on WWE Superstars of all programs. It should have at least main evented the episode. Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim beating Katie Lea Burchill and Jillian is acceptable. Bret Hart's promo was pretty good, not bad at all with The Hart Dynasty and The Masked Men situation touched upon. R-Truth and The Miz had a strong opening contest, not sure why R-Truth is being accompanied by Mark Henry. Bryan Danielson's involvement was a necessity however, building for The Bash in two weeks. Looking forward to that, may I add. Natalya beating Maryse is acceptable, decent WWE Divas Championship defense here. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler make for a good combination, great win for them against John Morrison and Evan Bourne: an athletic combination. Very big contrast in styles, but I guarantee it would be good to see. Vladimir Kozlov beating Tyson Kidd. Woah, I can't see a push for Kozlov though, just a way to show that the Masked Men had attacked the Hart Dynasty and that Kidd was hurting. I see a similar situation occuring the night of the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship bout at The Bash. John Cena, Randy Orton and Christian won a big main event against Batista, Sheamus and Ezekiel Jackson. A good show, but a big main event, a weak undercard and a match on Superstars that would have been better on RAW.

-Solid opening. Jackson/Christian should be nice as I've always wanted to see Jackson become champ. -I'm hoping Miz's losing streak doesn't last too much longer as he has potential. -Natalya retaining was expected as her reign hasn't gone too long. -I'm fine with Ziggler and Rhodes winning. But I feel Morrison could be used a bit better. -Kozlov beating Kidd was fine since Kidd is hurt from the attack. -Good main event. I like the the faces winning. -Interesting these masked man are taking Bret. To be honest their like the Nexus with less people and masks. -Good RAW.

-Decent opening promo from Bret. Like that he has upped security and the United States Title match for The Bash should be good -Though I like Danielson wayyyy more than The Miz, I don't like how much he's been losing lately. Hopefully, he'll get the win at The Bash -Natalya continues to beat Maryse, seemingly every week. Interested in what happened to Kidd & Hart -Tag match sounds great, four of WWE's top midcard talent, I like it -Love that two of the security guys were in on the masked men stuff -Kozlov over Kidd makes sense due to Kidd's current state -Love the Santino "Booker T' reference -Good main event, enjoyed the REBOOT_GAME thing, glad the faces won -The Bret Hart thing seemed to similar to the NXT angle, but it's a good way to end Raw
Good, solid edition of Raw, but as DTP said, it featured a rather weak undercard. That'll happen when the main event features a lot of talent.

WWW.F4WONLINE.COM July 6th, 2010
- The 'Masked Attackers' storyline took a horrific turn this past Monday on Raw, featuring a segment which showed one of the Masked characters throwing Bret Hart into the trunk of a black car and reversing it into a parked car. Obviously the segment was pre-taped and Hart was not inside the trunk at the time for those showing concern. Apparently, this was a way to write-off Bret Hart for the time being as he will be getting married to his third wife on the 24th of this month. According to various source, Hart is set to be out for quite a while, but it is almost certain he will return to the WWE as many of his close friends and relatives have said he is absolutely loving his current run with the WWE.
- As seen on Raw, the WWE are hyping the return of Triple H very soon, and assuming that what happened on Raw has any indication of the future, Triple H will resume his feud with Sheamus upon his return after Triple H was (kayfabe) taken out by Sheamus at WWE Over the Limit. Triple H's return could be any time between The Bash and SummerSlam, with the latter been the more likely option.
- Rob Van Dam has apparently been informed of his debut date from the WWE and is ready to re-debut with the company. It is unknown when this date is, but it is sure to be soon.
- Shawn Michaels is said to be out longer than expected. The latest on his hiatus is that he is enjoying life at home with his wife and kids and has no intentions of returning to the ring anytime soon. However, he is still contracted to the company and he most likely will be returning, but not till later in the year. In previous years, Michaels has taken a post-WrestleMania hiatus and returned around SummerSlam, but this will not be the case this time around. It is also expected that Shawn Michaels will retire at next years WrestleMania event, and the current word going around is that the Creative team want to have him go out on a high, which could mean a victory.

July 6th, 2010 - Atlanta, Georgia; Carry a Keg
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- The pyrotechnics explode and the crowd go wild. Josh Mathews and Michael Cole welcome us to WWE NXT and remind us that last week, Titus O'Neil became the first NXT Season Two Rookie to be eliminated from the contest. Tonight, they tell us that we will have a Keg Carrying Challenge to determine who will be immune from the next WWE Pro's Poll. They then pass over to Matt Striker who is on the stage with the seven remaining NXT Rookies.
- Striker welcomes the WWE Universe and says that we will see the Keg Carrying Challenge. He strolls down the ramp to where the keg is and explains that the Rookies must run around the ring and bring the keg back over the yellow line in the quickest possible time. He reminds us that the Rookies with the fastest time will be immune from elimination in the next WWE Pro's Poll, cutting the possiblities down to six Rookies. While he is here, Striker reveals that tonight, we will see Alex Riley take on Percy Watson, Duke Rotundo and Cody Rhodes take on Eli Cottonwood and John Morrison, and our Main Event will be The Miz versus Kaval. But firs, the Keg Carryin Challenge begins now! The times are as follows;
Keg Carrying Times Alex Riley - 11.3 Seconds Duke Rotundo - 13.5 Seconds Eli Cottonwood - 11.0 Seconds Joe Hennig - 11.9 Seconds Kaval - 12.6 Seconds Lucky Cannon - 11.5 Seconds Percy Watson - 11.5 Seconds
- Eli Cottonwood is named the winner, carrying the keg with ease thanks to his monsterous strength. John Morrison congratulates his Rookie and they celebrate, now knowing that Cottonwood is immune from elimination in the next Pro's Poll. The other Rookies are disappointed, but the show must go on. Alex Riley and Percy Watson make their way to the ring along with their Pros as the rest of the Rookies leave. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Alex Riley w/ The Miz def. Percy Watson w/ MVP | A highly competitive match with arguably two of the top contenders in the contest. Back and forth action all the way with neither man looking overly strong. It was only in the closing moments that a winner was found, and that came when Riley took a page out of The Miz's book and delivered a thumb to the eye, avoiding the referees vision, followed by a huge TKO, ending the match. MVP tried to plead with the referee that Riley cheated, but the referee said he didn't see it. Miz and Riley celebrated as MVP checked on Percy Watson while looking on at Miz and Riley in anger. We then cut backstage. |
- We fade backstage to see Jamie Keyes alongside Lucky Cannon. She asks him how it felt to know that he wasn't the first person eliminated last week. He tells her that he was ecstatic to be staying, let alone pretty high up the Poll. He says that he plans to stay away from the bottom and go on to win NXT and become the WWE's next breakout star! He leaves and we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE The Bash, airing on the 18th of July, 2010. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Eli Cottonwood & John Morrison def. Duke Rotundo & Cody Rhodes | This was a relitively quick match which showcased both Rookies quite a bit. Rotundo and Cottonwood were the legal men at the time and Rotundo made the mistake of attacking Morrison on the apron, because it distracted him from Cottonwood who caught him as he turned around and planted him with a Sit-Out Chokebomb for the victory. We see Cody Rhodes on the apron shaking his head in his hands. Cottonwood and Morrison leave in celebration, Mathews and Cole reminding us that Cottonwood won the Keg Carrying Challenge earlier on and is immune from elimination in the next Pro's Poll. Cody Rhodes, much like previous weeks, leaves his Rookie in the ring, clearly angered at their loss. Rotundo looks upset and sluggishly follows as we fade to a promo package. |
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring multiple WWE superstars. We then cut backstage.
- Jamie Keyes is once again backstage, this time with Joe Hennig. She asks him if he is pleased with his place on last week's Pro's Poll. He shakes his head and tells her he isn't. He wasn't going to settle for anything lower than three, and when he got #6, he was so annoyed. He says that this has simply given him more motivation to be better in the coming weeks and show that he is something special, and to do his father proud. Hennig leaves and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see The Miz in the ring with his Rookie, Alex Riley. Miz speaks on the microphone, telling the WWE Universe that his recent losing streak comes to an end tonight when he defeats Kaval. He says that Kaval is nothing more than Daniel Bryan was, a failure, a kid who's vision is clouded by his false success in the independant promotions. He says that just like Daniel Bryan, he is going to understand what The Miz really stands for, and he's going to find out that he's The Miz... and he's AWESOME! He drops the microphone and we hear the theme of Rey Mysterio as Kaval makes his way to the ring.
Kaval w/ Rey Mysterio def. The Miz w/ Alex Riley | A highly competitive match and The Miz was showing more aggression than usual. He was basically trying his best to make Kaval look like a punk kid who knows nothing about wrestling, but this approach failed when Kaval fought back and perhaps even showed The Miz a thing or two in the ring. The Miz eventually fought back, locking up for the Skull-Crushing Finale, but Kaval slipped out and rolled Miz up for a quick three count to the crowd's joy. Kaval quickly fled from the ring as The Miz's jaw dropped. He looked on in astonishment as Kaval jumped up and down on the outside. Once again, we see his freakish appreciation for Rey Mysterio as he hugs him and thanks him for his help. Mysterio looks a bit confused, but pats Kaval on the back and goes along with it. Yeah... wierd, huh? |
- Kaval and Rey Mysterio leave up the ramp as Alex Riley tries to talk to The Miz. Miz doesn't want to speak to him, clearly angry at his loss. We see Riley possibly say "There's always another time", which causes Miz to turn to him, glare and then leave the ring, storming off. Riley tries to keep up as NXT fades to a close.

- Didn't really expect Cottonwood to win this competition, but it's fine. - Riley over Watson is nice, I'd like to see both of them make it far in NXT. - Cottonwood and Morrison is good as Harris and Rhodes are dysfunctional. - Kaval defeating Miz in the main event is huge for him - expecting him to go far.
Good NXT.

-Cottonwood winning the Keg Carry Challenge was great considering he looks the strongest. -Alex Riley beating Percy Watson was good. But I like Percy Watson. -Morrison and Cottonwood beating Harris and Rhodes was good cause like Kev said Rhodes and Harris don't make the best team. -Kaval beating Miz is good to end the show. -Good NXT.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 6th July 2010...Pretty decent and obvious way to start the show, with the Keg Carrying Challenge. Looking forward to what we have in store on the card. All of those times look accurate, but honestly I hate how Duke Rotundo couldn't carry the keg in less time than Kaval; who would fail to do it as quickly. I am really not so fond of that decision, and it proves that you're going to be giving him the boot next. You could do a lot with him. Eli Cottonwood winning this challenge is best; I feel that one NXT Rookie should win every challenge, different winners to the challenges suited. Alex Riley beating Percy Watson is alright I suppose; both of these I can predict will end up reaching the final stages of NXT Season Two. Good win for Eli Cottonwood and John Morrison next, beating Cody Rhodes and Duke Rotundo; another loss for Rotundo proves he's going to be the next guy eliminated. The guy is better than Cottonwood for God's sake. Lastly, hate how Kaval beat The Miz cleanly, honestly. It should have been a sly victory for Miz, or some involvement from Bryan Danielson. Danielson helping Kaval would also have made a lot of sense. Overall, a decent show, but some bad decisions, and I hope that Rotundo isn't the next Rookie eliminated. I know he's not going to win, but he's a lot better than Eli Cottonwood and Lucky Cannon, if I'm honest.

July 9th, 2010 - Atlanta, Georgia; One Angry Giant
Dark Match - Vance Archer def. Local Competitor Archer wins after a Snap Reverse DDT.
Zack Ryder & Carlito w/ ROsa Mendes def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu w/ Hornswoggle Ryder and Carlito pick up the victory after Ryder hits the Rough Ryder on Goldust.
Michelle McCool w/ Layla def. Tiffany McCool picked up the victory following a Faithbreaker.
"Yes, sir, we promised you a great Main Event..."
Cue Opening Package
- We don't have any pyrotechnics this week as we cut straight to the ring where the Matt Hardy is stood in the ring with a microphone to a ton of heat, ready to speak to the WWE Universe. He says "It wasn't that long ago that all you people would chant 'Hardy!' at the top of your lungs, cheering me on when I was getting a beating in a match.... but then Jeff returned at WrestleMania, and all of a sudden, I was thrown aside and all the focus was on him, while I suffered loss after loss and slowly faded out into the background". He gets a bit of heat, but the real heat comes after this... "Jeff Hardy is nothing! He is pathetically feeding off of MY name, using the Hardy name to catapult himself into the spotlight, leaving me in the shadows! Well that's all about to change! Jeff Hardy is no longer my brother, Jeff is a stranger and I am going to make sure that this time, he leaves the WWE for good, and he will never come back and steal the spotlight that belongs to me, again!" Hardy throws the microphone down adn turns to leave, but is stopped as we hear the theme of Jeff Hardy himself to a massive pop. Hardy walks out and simply walks to the ring, enters and spears his brother to the canvas. The two roll around brawling as the crowd erupt. Security jump into the ring and pull the Hardys apart as General Manager, Theodore Long comes out. He says "You two need to back off a bit, boys. Tonight, you'll get a chance to be in the ring with eachother, in a tag team match! It will be Jeff Hardy and MVP taking on Matt Hardy and CM Punk, later on tonight! Holla!" Matt Hardy is on the ramp been pulled away by security. He screams at Jeff that he'll destroy him tonight as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Non-Title - Beth Phoenix fought Melina to a No Contest | This was an incredible match, and for the first time in a while, a Divas match actually worthy of an opener. Both divas went at it with all they had, knowing that they needed to make an impression for The Bash in just over a week. Beth Phoenix was in control near the end and was about to get Melina up for the GlamSlam, but out of nowhere, LayCool attacked both divas, forcing the referee to ring the bell and call for a No Contest. McCool then hit the Faithbreaker on Melina as Layla hit a neckbreaker on Phoenix. LayCool then stood tall over the two divas as we fade backstage. |
- Theodore Long is backstage in his office before he is interrupted by The Straight Edge Society to a lot of heat. Long asks what he can do for them, and CM Punk asks why he is forced to be in a match with The Hardys yet again. He says he is through with Jeff Hardy, and taming with Matt Hardy isn't the best of ideas. Long says what's done is done and the match will go ahead tonight. Long then takes the time to inform Luke Gallows that he has a match tonight... against the Big Show! The crowd pop as Gallows looks on in astonishment. CM Punk calms him down as he goes for Long, and The SES leave and Long smiles as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
- We return to see a promo package for The Bash, airing on the 18th of July, 2010. We then return to SmackDown.
Big SHow def. Luke Gallows w/ The Straight Edge Society | The Big Show was in a foul mood, annoyed after his loss last weke to Chris Jericho, thanks to Edge and the World Champion, Kofi Kingston, despite it been unintentional. He pretty much destroyed Luke Gallows, hitting every signature move he has, and finally finishing him off with the Knockout Punch for the victory. Afterwards, Joey Mercury jumped into the ring, but was simply Chokeslammed to the canvas. CM Punk and Serena fled, not wanting any part of the Big Show, leaving Gallows and Mercury to scramble out of the ring themselves. Big Show grabs a microphone and speaks to the WWE Universe. |
- He says "Last week, I was going to defeat Chris Jericho, had it not have been for Edge and Kingston. I understand that it may not have been intentional, but they still cost me my match! So next week, I'm challenging Edge to a match to settle the score!" Big Show slams the microphone down adn leaves to a mixed reaction as we fade backstage.
- We see Edge watching a TV screen, witnessing the challenge that was just made. Edge turns around and bumps into Kofi Kingston to a huge pop. They shake hands and then Kingston says that they have a match tonight in the Main Event. Edge says he knows and is looking forward to it. Edge says that Big Show seemed pretty angry about what they did last week, and so he wouldn't put it past him to do something tonight. Kingston says he'll keep a look out for Show, as they can't let him ruin the match. Edge then says that Jericho will have something to say too, and Kingston tells him not to worry, because Jericho won't be getting his World Championship back at The Bash. The crowd pop as Kingston leaves and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett def. JTG | ANother quick match, and it should be noted that Barrett did not come to the ring with Chris Jericho tonight. He defeated JTG following his finisher he call The Wasteland for the three count. Barrett simply left looking rather serious as we fade backstage. |
- We see Josh Mathews backstage with MVP to a pop. He asks MVP what he thinks to having to deal with not only his rival, CM Punk, but Matt Hardy as well. MVP says he has his own past with Matt Hardy, and he knows everything there is to know on how to beat him. He says that teaming with Jeff tonight is a great experience and he is looking forward to getting one-up on CM Punk and The Straight Edge Society. MVP leaves as we fade to ringside.
Matt Hardy & CM Punk w/ The Straight Edge Society def. Jeff Hardy & MVP | The Straight Edge Society played a large role in this match, creating many distractions for Jeff and MVP. The crowd popped when Hardy and Punk went at it, and even more when MVP and Punk were legal. But the biggest pop was when The Hardys became the legal men and battled it out. We then see a Commercial Break. Both men tagged out and continued the brawl on the outside. This left Punk and MVP to battle it out in the ring, and after a quick distraction from Joey Mercury, Punk lifted MVP onto his shoulders and hit the GTS for the victory. The Straight Edge Society fled and security were once again forced to break The Hardys up on the outside. We then fade to a promo package. |
- We see a 'Don't Try This' package featuring SmackDown superstar, World Heavyweight Champion, Kofi Kingston. We then return backstage.
- We see Josh Mathews alongside the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre. He asks McIntyre if he feels threatened by Ted DiBiase. McIntyre laughs adn tells Josh that nobody can threaten him. He says he will defeat DiBiase right now, and show that he is no threat to his Intercontinental Championship whatsoever. McIntyre leaves and we cut to ringside.
Non-Title - Ted DiBiase w/ Brett DiBiase def. Drew McIntyre | This was an interesting encounter in this non-title bout. DiBiase was obviously looking for the victory here to earn himself a Championship match, and luckily for him, he got it. McIntyre was in total control at one point and held Ted's face up to his brother, Brett on the outside and mocked him, saying he shouldn't mess with him. However, the gloating came back to haunt him as DiBiase rolled McIntyre up with a small package and picked up a shock victory. DiBiase flees from the ring with his borhter to a massive pop. McIntyre looks on in shock and anger, grabbing the referee and demanding he reserve the decision. DiBiase has most definitely made an impact and is in for the future Intercontinental Championship match! We then cut to a commercial break. |
Commercial Break
- We return to hear the theme of Chris Jericho to a ton of heat. He comes out in a suit and walks around the ring and takes a seat alongside Matt Striker and Todd Grisham. He puts a headset on and we get ready for the Main Event.
Non-Title - Kofi Kingston def. Edge | A fantastic Main Event between two good friends. It was very evenly matches, Kingston showing that he does belong in the Main Event. Chris Jericho was eagerly watching as two of his rivals went head-to-head. He looked like he could pounce at any moment, but he managed to remain in his seat... for now. Edge had Kingston down and measured him up for the SPEAR but Jericho left his chair and started trash-talking Edge. Kingston gets to his feet and sees Jericho and Edge arguing. Kingston doesn't have to look twice and launches himself through the ropes, taking Jericho to the floor. Edge looks on in confusion as Kingston gets to his feet on the outside. He returns to the ring and the two continue the match with Jericho out of the way. It eventually comes down to Edge running for the SPEAR only to be hit with the Trouble In Paradise, giving Kingston his first pinfall victory as World Champion! Kingston celebrates his victory as Edge begins to stir. Jericho gets to his feet on the outside in anger. |
- Jericho slides into the ring and hits Kingston with an unexpected Codebreaker. Jericho then turns around into a massive SPEAR from Edge. Suddenly, the Big Show enters the ring out of nowhere and drills Edge with the Knockout Punch. For the second week in a row, the Big Show stands tall over the Main Event of SmackDown. We then fade to a close.

- Very nice opening segment with the Hardys. The tag team match sounds great. - Phoenix/Melina sounded like an excellent match. LayCool standing tall over them was great. - Big Show letting all of his frustrations out on Gallows and eventually Mercury was nice. Not bad to have Show be a tweener. - Barrett/JTG squash is great as it puts Barrett over more. - Matt and Punk picking up the win is good. The Hardys brawling outside was a nice touch. - Great win for Ted here. Wouldn't mind seeing him take the IC title. - Awesome main event. Kingston pinning Edge was shocking even though he is the World Champion. Show knocking out Edge sets the stage for their encounter next week.
Overall, a great edition of SmackDown.
