We're less than a week away from one of the most anticipated rematches in recent memory, Machida vs. Shogun to. This event takes place live from Montreal, Quebec, Canada THIS SATURDAY night. Now that the whole card is done and 100% confirmed, let's get our predictions down. As usual, my predictions are in red text.

By the way, I don't WANT Koscheck to win, but when you have someone with great wrestling like he has, going up against someone with no ground game, it's obvious as to what's going to happen. Koscheck goes for the takedown early and pounds him out. But I would LOVE to see Daley catch him. Shogun has beaten Machida once already and I HOPE, HOPE that he will be able to finish Machida off here. The first fight was honestly one of the most technically beautiful fights that has ever taken place, so I expect nothing less from these two. I hope the fight is better than the last and Shogun comes out on top. |

i'm REALLY hoping shogun will win the title and be able to finish machida before the fight goes to a decision. i wanna see a huge knockout by paul daley, but i think koscheck's wrestling will get him the win. i'm pulling for kimbo as well!

Nah, I think it's one of those situations that I think favors Kimbo. He has more experience in MMA fights and I think he'll be able to catch Matt. Matt seems to gas out pretty quickly and is very sloppy with his punches.

Nah, I think it's one of those situations that I think favors Kimbo. He has more experience in MMA fights and I think he'll be able to catch Matt. Matt seems to gas out pretty quickly and is very sloppy with his punches. Good points. I am pulling for Mitreone though. He never seemed to have the heart to fight during the show. I just want him to prove people wrong and knock some heads off. |

Marcus Davis vs. Jonathan Goulet- I'm a fan of Marcus Davis. I don't think he will ever come close to the title but he definitely has a long career of exciting fights ahead of him.
Patrick Côté vs. Alan Belcher- I don't like Cote at all..I hate how people actually think he had a shot against Anderson and that there NEEDS to be a rematch. But I do think he will win this fight. Belchers muay thai is pretty tight but I just see Cote's kind of wreckless brawling style being too much for Belcher and Cote will eventually get the KO.
Kimbo Slice vs. Matt Mitrione- It is so damn hard to chose Kimbo for any fight because I still don't feel he has evolved enough. Luckily for him I don't think Mitrione has either. Mitrione will have a reach advantage(I think) and he has some pretty hard shots..but I just see Kimbo winning this one.
Sam Stout vs. Jeremy Stephens- Jeremy Stephens all the way. This will be FOTN.
Josh Koscheck vs. Paul Daley- This is like a fight between two guys that I absolutely don't want to see fight GSP. If Daley fights GSP it will be the same damn fight GSP has had against BJ, Hardy, and Alves. GSP will be gunshy to strike and will use his superior wrestling to grind out a win. Kos vs. GSP II would be more interesting because Koscheck has the best of both worlds..he can hit and he can wrestle. But I still see Kos losing to GSP. I think he will win this fight though. If he was able to handle Johnson I think he will do just fine against Daley.
Lyoto Machida (c) vs. Mauricio Rua- Wow. Rematch of the decade. I absolutely loved the fight fight minus the decision. I would love nothing more than to see Shogun as champ because it would open up SO MANY OPTIONS.
Anderson said he would fight Shogun if Shogun were champ but never Lyoto..
Rampage vs. Shogun II
Forrest vs. Shogun II
etc...
plus I think Shoguns style is so amazing to watch. His technique is beautiful. But I think Lyoto is a dilligent worker who will definitely learn from all of the mistakes he made. I think Lyoto will win a decision. I don't want him to but I think he will...

can't go against my boy sam, he's improved so much since his last fight.. i see him taking it by decision. as much as i love kimbo and want him to win, i'm just not feeling to confident in him winning, but he gets my pick because i can't go against that guy. really looking forward to Côté coming back.
