Shogun will win his next title defence. Then face Anderson after that in Anderson's last fight for the UFC. Wow, you think Anderson deserves a title shot after his last performance?? I sure as hell don't and I'm sure neither does Dana White and I don't think he'll give it to him. Why would he reward Anderson after such a disappointing performance in his last fight?? That doesn't make any sense what-so-ever. I believe Dana said he wants Silva's next fight to be on the undercard and I don't blame him one bit. Silva's next fight will be a title defense against Chael Sonnen and then he'll be done after that, wether he's the champ or not. It'll be interesting to see what happens if Anderson Silva remains champion after his contract ends. |

so i guess paul daley was cut from the ufc by dana lol. the PILEDRIVER in the belcher/cote fight was awesome. it was a shame to see kimbo get destroyed like that. fun first round, though. and yeah, i figured koscheck would win because of his wrestling skills. daley is an idiot. lol at kos heeeeeeling it up in canada. kos would make a cool pro wrestler. good heel promo and nice selling from the "knee" lol. i didn't expect to see the machida/shogun fight end in the first round. crazy to see lyoto get caught like that. cool to see shogun win the belt.

Dana was just on ESPN MMA LIVE....Kimbo's done in the UFC also, but Dana said he has great respect for him for training etc etc. Also said, Paul Daley's excuse to Dana "I didn't hear the bell" and he has fought his last fight in UFC Rua vs.  (possible winner of Rampage/Evans) |

He's all hype and nothing more. He'll be fighting Tank Abbott again. Only this time it will be held in the parking lot of Burger King and the winner gets a free Whopper. |

Kimbo fired? FINALLY. Go back to the freak shows. Shogun knocking out Machida?  YES!!!!!! Now THAT is the best way to win a rematch! Daley is an ass. So glad he's fired. He should go to StrikeForce. He'd fit right in with the post fight cheap shots. |

Both Daley and Slice deserved to be cut, no question, and that's coming from someone who really warmed up to Kimbo during TUF 10.
Odds are that Daley's headed back to Strikeforce and Kimbo will headline smaller shows for big paydays in fights that don't really mean anything.
I think Daley will be heavily marketed by Strikeforce and probably work his way up to a title shot, only to get TKO'd by Diaz. As good of a striker as he is, he's terribly one-dimensional.
Not really sad to see either of them go, to be perfectly honest. Maybe a little with Kimbo, but no way does he belong in the UFC after that absolutely atrocious performance.

I taped tonight's show and went back and re-watched the selling of the "phantom knee" by Koscheck. It was exactly like the "phantom eye-poke" in the Rumble Johnson fight. Koscheck blatantly fakes an injury to get a needed breather, even if it's just for a minute or two.
I almost don't know what disgusted me more. Koscheck faking an injury for the 2nd time or the cheap-shot by Paul Daley after the fight. Both made me want to puke.
I actually don't believe Koscheck should be rewarded a title fight with GSP after doing those cheap fake injury tactics. I feel he should be punished a little bit as well because there's no place in the UFC for doing those cheap, underhanded tactics by blatantly faking an injury like he did.

Paul Daley went from a potential favorite of mine, to sitting right next to War Machine on my crap list. I'm so disgusted right now it's not even funny dude. That behavior embarasses the sport. No room for it, and he DESERVED to be cut.
