Man, I wish I could be there in Montreal again this year, but some stuff has come up and I just cannot afford to make the trip like the last two previous years. I met basically everyone last year from Shogun to Chuck to Stitch. Hell, I even got the chance to meet my favorite referee Yves Lavigne and get my picture with him as well.
They all stay at the same hotel which is The Marriott which is like a minute walking distance from The Bell Centre. I really wish I could be there because it was such an awesome time last year and the year before that. Oh well, watching it on PPV is the next best thing for sure and cheaper too.
I really hope Shogun & Machida don't go to the judges again, but I have a feeling they will. I just have a feeling that the fight will go exactly like last time and Shogun will once again be robbed of the belt.
As for Daley/Koscheck, I believe Daley will win by another vicious KO and be next in line for GSP's coveted belt. And I am hoping Mitrione KO's Kimbo and sends him back to the streets where he belongs.
Overall, I think it will be an awesome card from start to finish and I'm really looking forward to it. Can't wait.

tom lawlor as THE BEAST. Tom Lawlor is so entertaining. I hope he keeps winning for a while, because it would be a sad day to see him leave the UFC. On a slightly related note: Per usual, Lawlor is at the fights with his pal Seth Petruzelli. I gotta wonder if Petruzelli brought his gear with him, just in case Matt Mitrione failed his physical or missed his flight or something.

I like Shogun, great fighter but im a massive Machida fan so i hope Lyoto performs better tonight and gets the victory.
Should be a good card, with hopefully a great main event.

I'm thinking Shogun is going to try and finish this fight early to avoid another debacle like last time but Machida is going to catch him.

As much as I admire his heart and his attempts at growing into a real MMArtist,, Kimbo looked ing atrocious. "Where there's a will there's a way" just isn't applying to Slice at all. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this loss gets him kicked out of the UFC. Really impressed by Mitrione, though, he could be a pretty good addition to the middle tier of the heavyweight division. Good leg kicks, subs, hands, everything. Mitrione vs. Nelson could be a great fight now that Kongo is out, if of course they move Nelson off of 116 instead of giving him another opponent.
