I haven't seen a Cro Cop axe kick in YEARS.

Classic Cro Cop, I thought Pat Barry should have won the fight, too bad.

I just still can't believe how aggresive he was with 10 seconds left in the round. Chuck could of easily walked away with that win, Franklins strong arm was broken.

Wow..this was one of those fights you were dying to see, but in the same token didn't want to see as it could possibly be the end for one of the combatants.
I'm glad Franklin won and I had a feeling he was going to catch Chuck in the midst of a flurry.
Chuck is a rather 2d fighter and I think the sport has passed him by at this point. He is a legend and deserves all the respect he has for helping make UFC and MMA what it is today.

Very happy to see Rich pull this one out. But besides that, I believe everything fell into place. Chuck would've probably smashed Tito again, and found himself up to his neck in title contenders that he has no chance of beating at this point in his career.
So I believe that this KO ends up being a great thing for Chuck, as we've probably seen the last of him, which for the preservation of his legacy's sake, is a good thing.

Chuck looked good before the KO. Just can't take the kind of shots he used to..

I think he would of won if it went to round 2, he should have not chased Rich like he did and just wait out the last 10 seconds carefully. I hate that he's probably finished now because of how good he looked during the fight, throwing kicks and even a takedown at Rich on top of throwing hands. Bleh.

What a great f***ing PPV. I honestly wasn't expecting much and by the end of the night it was probably one of my favorite PPV's this year. CroCop showed so much damn heart in that fight. I jumped up like a little girl when he won.
Chuck looked amazing..he was focused and really looked like he was back to old form. The end of that fight was probably one of the saddest endings to a fight ever though...I'm not a big Chuck fan but damn that broke my heart the way he got KO'd... Congrats to Franklin though..

Glad to see my hometown fighter win, I think it's great he's back training in Cincinnati, although I'm sure training in Seattle and with A. Silva (For the wanderlei fight) was good for him too. Maybe Ace will make a good run in the LHW

Thanks for all the great moments Chuck! Rich could be good in the LHW division. Also surprised Cro Cop won and did it by submission. Awesome night of fights. Can't wait till Lesnar vs Carwin now..

After his last loss, Chuck should've stayed gone. But nope. He had to come back and get KO'd yet again...Some people never learn...I hope this time he stays gone.

It's not like he's the first guy to have to learn the hard way that his time has passed. It's just sad that in MMA these guys can be hurt far worse for not knowing when to say when. No need to fault him for it though, he had one fight left on his contract and wanted to go out trying. Nobody wants to end any endeavor in defeat, and he had one last try to avoid that. Plus he turned his life completely around since the loss before this. Sadly, he still failed, so that's the way it goes. Lucky for us, unlike wrestling, we won't have to see him shoved down our throats as a legit contender until he's 50+ yrs old though. I just seriously hope he is indeed done after this. If he tries to put the gloves on again elsewhere, and it isn't due to being desperate for money, then yes, he is one of those people that will never learn.

If Chuck does want to stick around and if Dana will let him continue to fight, just who in the world do you put him with next, after suffering so many devastating losses??
The only guy that comes to mind would be a guy they got rid of not too long ago and that would be Kimbo Slice. And even then, I think Kimbo would mash Chuck.
I mean, Chuck has such a glass chin now, I think anyone would be able to take him out, even Kimbo. That's the only ideal fight that I can come up with if Chuck still wants to fight.
If UFC does release Chuck, then I could still see that fight happening down the road in the other StrikeForce organization.
Kimbo's already gone and is a free agent and Dana said he would cut Chuck if he lost at UFC #115 and he did, so I think that fight is still a possibility for sure. That's only if Chuck still wants to continue to fight, that is.
I'm sure fans would still watch if that fight were to happen. Personally, I wouldn't care one bit, but I'm sure other fight fans would love to see it.

Dude, just shut up. You were talking sh*t about Kimbo awhile ago, now you're saying he can beat Chuck? Just shut up with these preposterous claims. Yes, we know Liddell is passed his prime, but he looked very good up until the KO, which seems to be Liddell's problem. It's over.

Yes, Chuck doesnt have the chin anymore...but your making it sound like Chuck got murdered the entire fight, and that he has lost to tomato cans recently. Come on now, I know he should retire but still give the guy some credit, its not like the UFC was giving him easy fights.
Some peoples opinions make me laugh...

I don't think Old School is happy unless he's going on rants over the latest thing to annoy him, or whatever prediction he managed to get correct.

Come on now, I know he should retire but still give the guy some credit, its not like the UFC was giving him easy fights. Hey man, it doesn't matter how or what was doing before he got dropped again. All that matters is the end result, which was Chuck getting KO'd. And I never said he lost to tomato cans. He's lost to some of the best like Rampage, Shogun, Rashad and now Franklin. NONE of those are easy fights in the least. Just ask Chuck, he'd tell you for sure. And sure I was talking sh*t about Kimbo because I hate his ass, but at this point in Chuck's career and seeing how much of a glass chin he has now and knowing how hard Kimbo can punch, that's why I say Kimbo could win that fight, if it were to happen. Franklin bopped Liddell on the chin and it sent him to the hospital. So, I'm sure if Kimbo ever got in there with Chuck, he'd ing drop him for sure. All it takes is a single shot to land and you are out cold and I firmly believe Kimbo could land that one shot that puts Chuck to sleep.
