www.fighthype.com/pages/content7944.htmlOn comments made by Dana White and David Haye...
"David Haye is a ***, so I don’t worry about him. He can keep on doing what he doing and fight Fraudley Harrison and other no-names. As far as Dana White goes, the only freak show I got is the one between my legs. I’ll let him see it and slap him with it if he wants. My thing is, Dana White doing all of that talkin', after I knock his boy out, he can get in the cage. He do all that talkin' like he’s a fighter, you know what I’m sayin'? Alls he gotta do is take his nice slippers off and come up in the cage and I will whoop his ass too."
"He [Haye] ain't me. I’m not weak like him. He is a intellectually- disabled individual. He fights like he’s one of Jerry’s Kids. I’m not even worried about what he sayin'. "MMA is tough and..." He’s weak! He ain't built like me. He ain't cut from the same cloth. We entirely two different individuals and he’s soft. I’m not even worried about him."
On his experience at UFC 116...
"The fans were tremendous, man, they showed me a lot of love out there."
"I was impressed with Chris Leben and I was impressed with Stephan Bonnar. They come to fight. That’s what the fans want. That’s what we need in boxing. We don’t need no mismatches, like Chavez and Duddy. Those two guys were garbage; extra garbage."
On Brock Lesnar and his win at UFC 116...
"So like I say, after August 28th, I’m going to win in the UFC, then I’m coming back to boxing and defending my title. Hopefully, I can have a unification bout with that bitch David Haye and then I’m going back to the UFC and hopefully, I can fight old, stiff-ass, coward-ass Brock Lesnar. That motherfvcker ain't poop. Then, did he have the nerve to say he’s still a bad motherfvcker after the fight?"
"Well that motherfvcker had a pink skirt on that night. You don’t turn your back and run from punches. They ain't never seen me, but come August 28th, I’m going to be ready; all guns blazing. They have no idea." Is it bad that all of a sudden I want Toney to win, just so I can hear his post fight interview?

If he was fighting absolutely anyone besides Couture, I'd be 100% behind him at this point.

Toney is another one of those funny guys, but I honestly think he's way over his head.

You were right...hilarity did ensue...that was funny, but admittedly not Chael Sonnen-esque, which IMO is stonkingly brilliant...

I think making your MMA debut against someone as experienced as Randy Couture is, is a HUGE mistake. I could see Randy doing exactly what he did to Tony Halme. Taking him down and choking his ass out.
I think this one will be over very quickly in the very first round and in Randy's favor.
I don't think HE has any idea what is in store for him. I sure hope he's ready because I know Randy will be.

Toney is good on the mic and was a hell of a boxer in his day. If he is not doing any MMA training then he is going to get hurt. Of course I am a Couture mark but besides that, Lesnar could get arrested for what he could do to Toney.

Lesnar could get arrested for what he could do to Toney. Not if it takes place inside The Octagon he won't. I'll be honest here, I don't know much about this James Toney guy, but like I said, I think making your MMA debut against someone as good as Couture is a major mistake and it looks like he'll learn the hard way. I've heard Toney has an incredible record as a boxer, but that's boxing. He's stepping into the world of MMA now where he's got virtually no experience. If someone as good as Couture gets him down, he's ing done for. I'm going with Couture all the way in this one. I hope Randy makes an example out of this guy.

Everyone know i'm a Toney nut hugger but does anyone else besides me think he can win? Or atleast give Couture a good fight?

Everyone know i'm a Toney nut hugger but does anyone else besides me think he can win? Or atleast give Couture a good fight? Well he's a world class boxer, so he has a puncher's chance at a knockout. A darn good one too. But as said, this is MMA and Randy is a smart fighter. He's not going to stand and bang with someone who could dim his lights with one punch. I very seriously doubt that Toney has gained enough experience to stop takedowns from guys like Randy. I hope James enjoys his fight purse, because that's about the only good thing coming from the fight on his end.

He stood up with Chuck in there first fight and at the time Chuck was able to put anyone away with on punch. How ever if he stand with Toney, Randy won't even be able to touch him!

I can't wait to see Old Man Couture's game plan for this one. James Toney is damn hilarious though. I expect Couture to come out on top, but either way, I'm looking very much forward for this fight.

Chuck also had arguably the best takedown defense in the game at the time. And he still got taken down lol. The only way I see Randy winning is with his wrestling and I hope he doesn't come in with the right game plan an dI hope he stands with Toney! ;D

Toney is getting his ass kicked . He won't make it out of the first round . You're the same guy who said Rampage would kill Lyoto. And considering Couture will most likely wrestle Toney, and Toney has a good chin, and Randy doens't have that kind of power show you know nothing, GTFO.

You know, my heart says go with Randy. Clinch him against the fence, take him down and work for a sub, which shouldn't be too hard to get. Or if he wants to, try to go for the shot right away. But I don't know. The fight starts on the feet so who knows what can happen. Maybe Toney gets that shot in and its all over for Randy. Couture's been dropped in all of his fights since the Gonzaga fight(with the exception of Coleman). Toney, a world class boxer can KO Randy.
This fight is a lot closer than I'd like it to be. The first 10-60 seconds(or however long it takes for Randy to get to him) are going to scare the bejeezus out of me. Randy has the advantage everywhere except boxing. But who knows.
