I honestly think Sonnen is doing all this talking so Anderson will fight him. He would rather get KO'd than be made a fool of like Maia. Thing is Anderson doesn't care. He wants nothing to do with the UFC. He wants out so he can get paid 3-4 million to fight Roy Jones Jr. If Dana would have given him that fight Anderson would finish every fight. It's Dana's fault we get the Anderson we have now. Sorry dude, no way that it's Dana's fault. At the end of the day it's Anderson's choice, and his alone, to pull the trigger and end the fight. That's something he should've done. So what if he wants out of his contract? Finish your fights, and don't sign a new deal once your contrac's up. Simple as that. If his recent performance is because of what you say, than it doesn't prove anything. It just makes him look like a diva.

I honestly hope Anderson pulls that crapagain and Dana keeps his word and fires his ass.

Dana actually sticking to his word and cutting Silva if he danced for 25 minutes again would be a bigger shock than a 30 second KO victory for Sonnen.

I really don't know who to pick in this one. It all depends on which Anderson Silva shows up. If the Anderson Silva that descimated Chris Leben and Forrest Griffin shows up, then I think Sonnen is in serious trouble. But if the Anderson Silva that had piss-poor performances against Leites and Maia shows up, then it could work out very well in Sonnen's favor. You just never know.
Sonnen is a warrior and if there's anyone that could pull the upset and be the man to finally break Silva's unbeaten UFC streak, I think he stands a very good shot. I'm really looking forward to this fight.

I hope Anderson wins. I want him to retire from the UFC without ever having been defeated. Nobody will touch his streak. I don't even think anyone is even close to it right now.

I'm still confused by Sonnen's comment about Silva not facing anyone that put the pressure on him, or a good wrestler. I can think of 2 fights right now in which Silva not only faced a great Wrestler, but was so having massive amounts of pressure put on him. Hell, he was fully mounted in one fight, and almost in the other. And what happened? He survived until the second round, and ended it before the third. IMO, unless Sonnen finds a way to KO Silva in the first round, he's ed.

I think I only remember Travis Lutter getting full mount on him, but it wasn't all that serious.

It wasn't all that serious because Lutter can't punch for ****. He had full mount, and Anderson wasn't blocking anything really, just had his arms up. It was a nice reversal to standing, despite Joe Rogan calling it a "sloppy looking arm bar". All I'm saying is if Sonnen wants to say that Silva: A. Hasn't fought anyone that's a great wrestler or B. Hasn't fought anyone that "puts the pressure on him", he's a ing moron.

I'm very interested to see how Sonnen takes Anderson to the ground, since he's spending so much time bent backwards kissing his own ass.

I've made up my mind. I'm picking Sonnen in this fight. I don't give a damn what anyone says or thinks. I think he stands a hell of a chance of pulling off the major upset. I don't know how he will win or what round, I just believe he will.
I also believe "Big Country" will defeat Junior and move his way into title contention. I think this is a tremendous card from top to bottom and I'm really looking forward to it.

Better yet, he's been replaced with newcomer Todd Brown.
