September 19th, 2005. | Wichita Falls, TX. Following the Opening Video, the theme of WWE Champion John Cena plays, as the final edition of RAW before Unforgiven begins. The WWE Champion made his way out into the arena to his 'controversial' reaction, now wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, the WWE Championship slung over his shoulder, as the commentators made remarks about how angry, and intense the WWE Champion looks tonight. John Cena looks around as he stands in the ring, pulling his hood down, waiting for the fans to calm down. When they do he begins to speak, saying that last week, after he fought a hard battle against Snitsky, The Big Show attacked him. He says that the chokeslam he recieved onto the stage was so serious, the doctors advised he should forfeit the WWE Championship match at Unforgiven. He continues, saying the idea of not being able to fight, having to back down, it sickens him. Because what he said last week, about the size of the fight in the dog being true is right. And he says that Big Show's cowardly attack only made him feel even more determined to take The Big Show out! He warns The Big Show that tonight, John Cena's coming for him, and when he gets his hands on him, he's gonna be handing out one hell of an ass whooping! He walks backstage, pulling his hood back up as he does. However, Eric Bischoff's theme plays as he is, and Bischoff makes his way out with the giant that is The Big Show. Bischoff warns Cena that he can't go around making threats without any repucussions for doing so. He says as punishment for his little temper tantrum he just threw in the ring, he will face another giant this week, Viscera! Cena pulls his hood down and rubs his head, as Big Show and Bischoff smile, a commercial break coming in. COMMERCIAL BREAKThe Hurricane & Rosey def. Simon Dean & Stevie Richards:A solid opening contest for tonight's edition of RAW. While it isn't a match thats high in star power, the crowd loved seeing the World Tag Team Champions The Hurricane and Rosey in action less than a week before they defend the championships against the two mysterious masked men that Brian Black seems to have brought to RAW. Some of the older male crowd also broke out into small 'BWO' chants, though they didn't catch on. As the match went on, the World Tag Team Champions remained in the driver's seat, and after around nine minutes of action, The Hurricane and Rosey nailed stinger splashes on Stevie Richards and Simon Dean respectively, with Rosey's splash taking out Dean, leaving his partner, Stevie Richards, on his own. He didn't last much longer, as the two superheroes nailed thier sidewalk slam and 'Eye of the Hurricane' combination move, before Hurricane covered to take the victory for them. Following the contest, the superhero pair were handed the World Tag Team Championship belts, and they raised them up in celebration of thier victory. The celebration would be cut short however, when the Masked Men rolled into the ring, with thier steel pipes in hand, and stood behind The Hurricane and Rosey, thier manager Brian Black behind them. The two men swung with thier pipes at the World Tag Team Champions, but this time thier ambush failed, as the both men ducked before nailing the two masked men with shots to the head with the World Tag Team Championship belts. Brian Black then grabbed thier legs, and pulled them out of the ring, as Hurricane and Rosey again challenged them to come back, this time Brian Black saying 'they'll see you Sunday!' as another commercial break came in. COMMERCIAL BREAKShelton Benjamin & Tajiri def. Kerwin White & Tomko:Another tag team match here tonight on RAW, with good match as a result. Shelton Benjamin & Tajiri have both been subjected to the ignorant views of Kerwin White in recent weeks, and this match proved to be a chance for the both of them to get some payback on the former Mexican superstar. White chose a strong partner in Tomko, who proved to be a valuable ally, taking a large amount of punishment, and dealing plenty out as well. After a while of the match going nowhere with neither team taking the victory, Tajiri nailed a huge kick to the side of the head of Tomko, dizzying him, before he tagged in Shelton Benjamin, who nailed a quick T-Bone Suplex on Tomko to take a sudden victory for himself and Tajiri. Following the contest, Kerwin White quickly tried to run off to his golfcart, but the allies that were Tajiri and Shelton Benjamin were having none of it. The two blocked off his path to the golf cart, before taking him down to the ground with severall strikes. Tajiri and Shelton then nodded to each other, with Tajiri leaving the arena, and Shelton grabbing a microphone. He says at Unforgiven, the match between himself and Kerwin should be a little bit more interesting, because he has an idea. If he wins, then Kerwin must admit his Mexican heritage and return to it. The crowd pops, but Kerwin pulls himself up and snatches the microphone. He says thats fine, but if Shelton loses, he must admit that 'White is Right!'. Shelton nods, and says its on, before diving at Kerwin again, the two scuffling, as security breaks the fight up, and commercials begin. COMMERCIAL BREAKRAW returns with Edge backstage with his girlfriend Lita, being interviewed by Maria. Maria asks Edge how he feels about Matt Hardy getting the better of him last week on RAW. Edge says that he, and Lita, don't really give a damn about Matt Hardy getting the better of him, because all that matters is that when Unforgiven rolls around, Edge will leave Matt Hardy laying in a pool of his own blood once again, just like at Summerslam. Edge then looks at Lita, kisses her, and the two walk off together, heading to the ring for Edge's match next. Carlito & Edge def. Shawn Michaels & Matt Hardy:A solid first hour main event, which potentially could've been good enough to be this edition of RAW's main event. The match was very good, though would've been better had there not been a Commercial Break in the middle of it. The match was evenly matched throughout, with neither team getting the break-through they needed as the match progressed. Even during the commercial break, neither team took control. However, Edge's own personal trump card, Lita, would come into play, as the 'Rated R Superstar' Edge's lover would insert herself into the match up. Lita distracted the referee, as well as Matt Hardy, who came over from his corner to try and rid the ring apron of her, allowing Carlito to chew his apple, and spit it in the face of Shawn Michaels, before Edge nailed a spear on the blinded 'HBK' collecting the tainted victory for himself and the 'Cool Superstar', Intercontinental Champion Carlito. Following the match, Edge and Carlito celebrated together, with Matt Hardy coming and tending to Shawn Michaels, apologising for helping hand the victory to thier opponents, as another commercial break comes in. COMMERCIAL BREAKRob Conway's theme plays, as he makes his way out to the ring, with his shades on and a microphone in his hands. He says for a long time now, he has been undefeated, and its ever since he changed his look, and embraced just how good he really is. He lays out an open challenge for any RAW Superstar to accept if they dare, to see if anyone can beat him, Rob 'The Conman' Conway in a one on one match up. Brent Albright def. Rob Conway:Really just a complete and utter showcase match here, designed to show the audience at home just what Albright is capable of bell to bell. The cocky attitude of Conway certainly proved to be his downfall, as Albright took the former World Tag Team Champion to school with a confident display in his first outing as an official RAW Superstar, nailing several variations of suplexes - snap, belly to belly, vertical, and delayed - before signalling that the time had come for the 'Crowbar', Albright's fujiwara armbar. Albright moved in, hopping over to the right hand side of Conway's body, before locking in his 'Crowbar' submission move, the same move Kurt Angle had tapped to just a week before. Conway was left with no choice but to tap, leaving Albright with his first victory as a RAW Superstar. As Conway was being checked over by the referee, and Albright's theme was playing, Albright yelled 'That'll be you Kurt!' as another commercial break started up. COMMERCIAL BREAKVictoria def. Kristal:Victoria's opponent for Unforgiven, Ashley, was on commentary for this match up. She answered questions about her wrestling training and strategy planned against Victoria, and was asked some innapropriate ones by King which made for awkward, yet funny moments. As for the match, unfortunately, another diva search contestant fell to Victoria this week, the fourth in as many weeks, and this time, it was Kristal. Kristal tried valiantly to overcome the 'anti-diva' Victoria, but in the end, she was just beaten badly, as Victoria beat her just for being a 'diva'. The contest closed with a Widow's Peak about five minutes in, and after the match, Victoria stared down Ashley from afar, who simply mouthed 'Your Going Down!'. The camera's went backstage after this match. When the camera was backstage, it entered the locker room, where Kurt Angle is seen with the Ankle Lock applied to an unconcious Brent Albright. After about 20 seconds of using the hold on camera, Angle lets up. He then says to the KO'd superstar 'Is that gonna be you, Brent, at Unforgiven? Yeah, damn right it is!' before walking away. The Smackdown Lodown then plays, highlighting Smackdown's main event, where Eddie Guerrero battled Batista, only to recieve a Batista Bomb through the announce table. As Batista celebrated his count out victory, he fell victim to an attack from Rey Mysterio, who nailed the 619, before raising the World Heavyweight Championship, a shot which closed Smackdown. After this, a hype graphic appears on screen, showing the WWE Homecoming, live on USA in two weeks time! COMMERCIAL BREAKJohn Cena def. Viscera:In tonight's main event, John Cena was forced into battle with yet another giant, this time the 500 pound 'love machine' Viscera. Unfortunately for Cena, Viscera was making the most of a rare main event appearance, and was trying to establish himself as a threat once more. Viscera was able to dominate the match, due to him targeting the ribs and back that was injured by The Big Show the previous week in a post match assault. However, with the 'Chain Gang' behind him, Cena was able to rally back, overcoming both his injuries and the severe size difference, taking Viscera down first with a diving leg drop to the back of the head, before nailing his signature 'Five Knuckle Shuffle' fist drop. Cena then managed to finish the match with seven or eight minutes gone, somehow managing to lift Viscera for the FU, before using the move to take the win. Cena was handed his WWE Championship following the big win, wincing with pain as he lifted the championship into the air in victory. Unfortunately, Cena's night wasn't over, as the fight he alluded to earlier in the night was about to happen, as the giant, The Big Show, walked out into the arena. Cena dropping his championship, and with one arm clutching his ribs, and pain etched across his face, he challenged The Big Show to bring it. Big Show cracked his knuckles, and began to walk down to the ring, however, he stopped half way down the ramp, and wagged his right index finger, as if to say 'not yet Cena' . He then shouted 'Sunday!' and made gestures that he was taking the Championship, as RAW came to a close with the two rivals staring each other down. WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT 2005 ©

September 22nd, 2005. | Lubbock, TX. Smackdown opens with the video package set to 'Rise Up', by Drowning Pool, with the pyrotechnics following. The theme of 'The Animal', World Heavyweight Champion, Batista plays, and he makes his way out from the back. He climbs in the ring, grabs a microphone, and begins to speak. He says that last week, he tried to send a message to Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio that they were both in over thier heads trying to prove they can beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy, and that they both should just stop trying now. He said that he thought Rey Mysterio would see this, and take the message, but was enraged even more when Rey Mysterio had the audacity to come out here, to this ring last week, and use his 619 on him, and lift up HIS World Heavyweight Championship as if it was his own. He tells Rey Mysterio that he will never be the World Heavyweight Champion, because he will never beat him, and he won't get the chance to beat Eddie Guerrero after what he did to him last week. He says tonight, Rey is gonna feel the wrath of The Animal. He isn't saying when, but Rey will be on the recieving end of a little surprise attack himself, so he better watch out. The theme of Theodore Long, Smackdown's general manager plays. He says that he doesn't want any trouble tonight, and so he's giving Batista the night off, just so any surprises don't happen. Long then asks security to escort Batista out of the arena. He finishes by saying, tonight, he doesn't want anyone being attacked, because he has two huge matches planned. Rey Mysterio will face JBL, and in tonight's main event, Eddie Guerrero will battle Chris Benoit! The crowd pops, as a commercial break begins. COMMERCIAL BREAKMr. Kennedy def. Kazarian:A solid opening bout here, with these two undefeated rookie superstars going at it. Kazarian has some solid support from the crowd now, with them obviously impressed with his work thus far, while Mr. Kennedy is getting some mild heat, with his victory over Chris Benoit in the past being put over by the commentators. Kazarian and Kennedy both looked very good in this match up, with both managing to get equal amounts of offense in. There was a few false finish moments in this as well, such as Kennedy missing his Kenton Bomb, and Kazarian being pushed away as he went for his 'Flux Capacitor' finishing move on the top rope. However, the real finish came when Nunzio came down to ringside as both men were down, distracting the referee by trying to get into the ring. As the ref's back was turned, and Kazarian had just got to his feet, Vito slid in the ring, and nailed him with a big boot, leaving him layed out in the ring. The Cruiserweight Champion Nunzio and his bodyguard Vito then left the arena, with thier actions leaving Kazarian prone to Mr. Kennedy's Kenton Bomb, which this time, he managed to hit, allowing him to pick up the three count, as well as hand Kazarian his first defeat. After the match, the camera's go outside the arena. On camera, Batista is shown buying a ticket for tonight's show. He hands over his money, and is given his ticket, which he looks at before smiling and saying 'The perfect seat'. The next Commercial Break then starts. COMMERCIAL BREAKEngland's Elite & MNM def. Akio, Funaki & The Legion of Doom:A solid second bout of the night here. The commentators noted on commentary at No Mercy, Akio, Funaki, and thier masked dojo master would battle MNM in a six person tag match. As for the match, these four tag teams really went out and tried to prove a point, with the heel teams taking an early advantage in the match, not allowing Akio to make the tag to one of his partners. However, a rookie mistake from Paul Burchill allowed Heidenreich to escape, and make a much needed tag to Akio, who came in, and took out all four men on the oppossing team. However, from here on in, chaos reigned. Mercury, Nitro, and Regal all dove in the ring after getting up from the arena floor, and took Heidenreich down, at which point Akio, Animal and Funaki all climbed in the ring, and and started brawling with them. The brawl was uncontrollable, and saw Heidenreich, Funaki, William Regal, Animal and Paul Burchill took out to the outside. This left Akio in the ring with Mercury, and Nitro. Akio swung wildly at Nitro, knocking him down, but Mercury knee'd him in the stomach. Mercury then helped up Nitro, and said something to him. The two then grabbed Akio, and nailed him with thier tag team finisher, the Snapshot. They then rolled out of the ring, before Paul Burchill rolled back in, and covered Akio to give his team the victory. Following the match, MNM celebrated thier victory with England's Elite, the four men having thier arms raised by Melina, who stood between them. MNM then shouted 'That's whats going to happen at No Mercy!' to thier opponents, while Regal and Burchill signalled they wanted the WWE Tag Team Championships, and all the while, Akio was being helped up by his partner Funaki and The Legion of Doom. Commercials then started. COMMERCIAL BREAKSmackdown returns with a shot of the crowd, as the commentators note that World Heavyweight Champion Batista is making his way into the arena. The camera finds him, as he walks down towards the front row, where he finds his seat, and sits down, just in time for the next match. JBL def. Rey Mysterio:A good choice of match up for the first hour main event, with one of the two number one contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship Rey Mysterio clashing with the number one contender for the United States Championship, John Bradshaw Layfield. This was a very different contest to when these two met on Smackdown last year, and JBL destroyed Mysterio, as it was a pretty evenly matched bout, with Layfield's power and brawling going up against the Speed and High-Flying style of Rey Mysterio. The crowd was really into this match, and firmly behind Rey Mysterio, who is transitioning into the main event scene very well. The match came to close when JBL went for his signature powerbomb, but Rey jumped off his shoulders, and nailed a dropkick that sent him toppling into the ropes. Rey then bounced off the opposite ropes, and nailed JBL with the 619! All of a sudden, a chair went flying through the air, the chair had been thrown by Batista! Batista then hopped the barricade as the referee was removing the chair from the ring, and as Rey went up top to 'drop the dime', he was pushed off by Batista, falling flat on his face. Batista smiled, as JBL got to his feet, and waited for Rey to get to his feet. When he did, JBL ran at him, and nailed his finsher, the Clothesline from Hell, to end the match. Following the match ending, Batista slid into the ring. He shouted abuse at Rey, though it wasn't that easy to make out what he was saying. He then grabbed Rey by his head, and pulled him up, before nailing him with the Batista Bomb! Rey was laid out in the ring, not moving, as Batista smiled, happy with his 'revenge' as another commercial break started. COMMERCIAL BREAKBooker T & Christian def. Psicosis & Super Crazy:The pairing of Booker T and Christian is an odd one, but it seems the two have put the differences they have behind them, and are looking to get rid of a common enemy in the Mexicools. And the victory they have managed tonight is certainly a good place to start, as tonight, Booker and Christian were the ones with a trick up thier sleeves, in the form of Booker's wife, Sharmell. When the Mexicools went to try and cheat, telling thier 'leader' of sorts Juventud to pass them the gardening tools they use to cheat, he was busy being seduced by Booker's wife, Sharmell. This threw the Mexicools of thier game, and allowed Booker T and Christian to first send Psiscosis flying out of the ring with a double clothesline, then Booker T nailed a kick to the jaw of Super Crazy, which sent him tumbling back into Christian, who nailed the Unprettier to collect the victory. Following the contest, the RAW Rebound played. It highlighted John Cena once again slaying a giant, this time Viscera, and Big Show afterwards telling him he was saving his beatdown for Unforgiven. Once the RAW Rebound finished, A commercial break came in. COMMERCIAL BREAKRandy Orton def. The Godfather: A huge surprise here on Smackdown, as The Godfather was completely unexpected. The Commentators hyped Orton challenged The Godfather to come here tonight, as he knows he was one of the men that The Undertaker had beaten in a casket match in the past. Unfortunately for old school fans, this match ended up being just like the Kamala one the week before, with Orton getting a lot of offense in, and The Godfather really being beaten quite badly. The match ran around 6 or 7 minutes, and in the middle, Godfather tried a comeback, though it was fruitless. The close came when Orton had took Godfather down with a dropkick before waiting on him to get up, at which point he nailed him with the RKO, which gave him the victory over the legendary pimp. Orton celebrated the victory with his signature pose, as the Godfather's ho's tended to him. Orton then called on the stagehands to bring out the casket, just as he had done the previous week, telling them to bring it out open this time, so Undertaker couldn't surprise him. They did just that, and as it reached the ring, Orton ordered the Ho's to get out of the way, which they did. He then grabbed Godfather by his vest, and dragged him towards the casket. He then rolled him into the casket, and slid out of the ring, preparing to close the lid, but The Undertaker's "Gong!" was heard! The crowd popped, and when the lights came back on, The Godfather was gone! Orton, startled by this, ran to the back, with a shocked and scared look on his face, as the Commentators questioned whether The Undertaker had got into Randy Orton's head. After this, a promo aired hyping Smackdown's move to Friday's in two weeks time. The promo features Batista, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, JBL, MNM, Rey Mysterio, and The Legion of Doom. Following the promo, a final commercial break begins. COMMERCIAL BREAKEddie Guerrero def. Chris Benoit:A fantastic main event to close out this, the penultimate edition of Smackdown! before thier next pay per view, No Mercy. The World Heavyweight Champion Batista was on commentary for the match, but insisted he was only an observer after what he did earlier tonight. Before the match began, Chris Benoit offered his long time friend a handshake, but instead Eddie looked coldly, before delivering a callous slap to the face of his friend. Benoit responded with intensity and aggression, taking down Eddie in a ground and pound, striking him with several blows. From then on in, a match, which was given around 13 minutes wih a commercial break in the middle, took place, with Eddie and Benoit battling eachother with stiff strikes, as well several suplexes being traded at a time, more so than that normally seen in a regular Eddie Guerrero or Chris Benoit match, and the crowd really enjoyed seeing them battle. The close to the match came when JBL strolled down to ringside with a steel chair in his hands, still dressed in wrestling attire, distracting Benoit. JBL simply sat down on the chair, and Benoit turned back around, but he turned into a knee to the stomach, followed by a Brainbuster. Guerrero then climbed to the top rope, and nailed Benoit with his frog splash, before covering for the victory. Guerrero celebrated the victory, his hand being raised by the ref, smiling slyly as the ref raised his hand. Afterwards, he climbed out of the ring, and walked up the ramp, as JBL climbed into the ring with a steel chair. He beat Benoit on his back several times with the chair, as Benoit called out to Eddie to help him. As JBL beat Benoit with the chair, he yelled at him "I don't play fair." Benoit cried out in pain, still asking Eddie to help him, but Eddie simply stared back coldly, the stare being the shot that this week's Smackdown fades out to. WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT 2005 ©

UNFORGIVENSeptember 26th, 2005 - Oklahoma City, OK. A fireworks display opens up the pay per view tonight, with the crowd exploding in cheers as the display, and 'Calling' by Taproot plays as the camera pans over the crowd. Jim Ross' voice is then heard, as he mentions how good it feels to be home, before mentioning that he is excited for tonight's huge pay per view extravaganza, Unforgiven. He and Jerry Lawler then go through the card for tonight, hyping up John Cena's huge task tonight, of conquering The Big Show. The two say he's done it before, but question whether he can do it again. The theme of the World Tag Team Champions The Hurricane & Rosey plays, as the first contest of the night begins.1) World Tag Team Championships - The Hurricane and Rosey (c) vs The Masked Men.A solid opening contest here on this pay per view between the reigning World Tag Team Champions, the Superheroes, The Hurricane and Rosey, and the mysterious assailants, the un-named Masked Men, who were accompanied by Brian Black. The match started out with The Hurricane in the ring with the smaller masked man, and The Hurricane was sure ready for this bout, as he unleashed a fury of punches and kicks, an unseen before aggessive side unleashed tonight in The Hurricane, who wanted nothing more than to get some revenge for the surprise attacks that the Masked Men have targeted The Hurricane and his sidekick Rosey with. The Hurricane tagged out to Rosey, who was equally intense and aggressive tonight, whipping the smaller Masked Man around the ring and nailing him with clotheslines, before Irish Whipping him into the corner, and nailing him with a big splash. He then threw him into the opposite corner, and did the same again. Rosey then tagged in The Hurricane, who climbed to the top rope and waited for the Masked Man to get up. When he did, Hurricane flew off the top rope, trying to hit a crossbody, but the Man dodged the move, leaving The Hurricane on the mat. The smaller Masked Man then tagged out, bringing in the slightly larger one. The slightly larger man immediately went to a rest hold, and the crowd began to chant for Hurricane, attempting to will him back into the match. The Hurricane fed off this, and managed to get back to a vertical base, before elbowing the Masked Man in the ribs, and charging at the ropes, nailing a flying forearm. Both men then attempted to reach thier partner, with the Masked Man reaching his first, and tagging him in. The Masked Man ran over, and dragged The Hurricane back into the middle of the ring, before starting a ground and pound on him. He then pulled Hurricane to his feet, put a fist in the air, and put him in position for a Reverse DDT. The Hurricane however, swung a fist at his face, and knocked him to the floor, and when he got up, nailed him with a crossbody. He then did his superhero pose, and when the Man got to his feet, grabbbed him in position for the Eye of the Hurricane. At this point, Brian Black got on the ring apron, distracting the referee, but Rosey came in and charged at him, but was sent crashing out of the ring when the other masked man pulled down the ropes. This had the referee distracted, allowing the legal Masked Man to pull out a steel pipe, and nail Hurricane in the head with it, before covering him for the shocking three count. Winners: The Masked Men. (NEW World Tag Team Champions)Following the contest, Brian Black grabbed a microphone, and said tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW, make sure to tune in, because these two men will reveal who they are. The crowd boo's as he raises the hands of the two men, who both have a World Tag Team Championship in thier hands. The camera then goes backstage, where Kerwin White is stood, being interviewed by Todd Grisham. Grisham asks him whether he thinks his new look and attitude, even race, could help him to victory tonight. Kerwin replies that he doesn't think, he knows, because after tonight, the entire world will believe what Shelton Benjamin is going to be forced to say: White is Right! Kerwin walks off screen, as the camera returns to the arena just in time for Shelton Benjamin's entrance. 2) Grudge Match - Kerwin White vs Shelton Benjamin.Shelton Benjamin makes his way out first. His pop is quite strong, and the crowd is definitely behind him in this one. Kerwin White comes out next in his golf cart, to some strong heat. The crowd really dislikes his attitude, and Kerwin reminds everyone he passes on the way to the ring that 'White is Right!'. As he climbs in the ring, Shelton Benjamin lunges at him, driving a knee into his side, before jumping out of the ring. Shelton then throws Kerwin into the crowd barricade, and picks him up, and throws him into the stairs as well. The ref then intervenes, warning Shelton he will be disqualified if he continues, something Shelton doesn't want, as disqualification means admitting he believes 'White is Right'. He backs off and climbs into the ring, waiting for Kerwin to get up. Kerwin takes his time, using the time outside the ring before the bell to recover. When he is ready, he climbs in the ring, and offers a lock up to Shelton, who simply boots him in the stomach, and begins to unload several shots to the head. The anger which has built up in Shelton is evident, as Kerwin is spending more time on the mat than he is upright. Benjamin goes for a kick, but Kerwin has him covered, grabbing his foot, but Shelton spins, going for the Dragon Whip, but instead Kerwin ducks, and Shelton is left feeling dizzy from spinning, which Kerwin capitalises on, nailing a spinning heel kick on Shelton. Kerwin picks up Shelton, and nails him with a Northern Lights suplex, before locking him in a boston crab. The crowd gets behind Shelton, who is feeling the strain on his back, following the Northern Lights Suplex. The crowd begins to chant 'Shelton!' with claps in the middle, as Shelton relieves the pressure by pushing himself up by his arms, before reaching out for a rope, and just managing to grab it, before collapsing onto it. Kerwin bangs his fists onto the mat, before getting up, and waiting for Shelton to get up as well. Shelton gets to his feet, and Kerwin moves in, grabbing him, and nailing a big back body drop on him, sending him back to the canvas, before locking in the boston crab again. This time, the strain on Shelton's back is evident, as his face paints a picture of agony. Shelton grabs at his back, desperately trying to relieve the pressure, but Kerwin responds by pushing down harder, Shelton now crying out in pain. The crowd again chants for Shelton, but he is fading fast, the pain of the submission being too much too bare, and the referee comes over, and grabs his arm. He picks it up, and it falls once, and again he picks it up, and it falls. However, the third time, Shelton makes a fist, and a warcry emerges from Shelton, as he pushes up, grabs Kerwin's legs, pulls himself through, and kicks Kerwin away. The two collapse into opposite corners, Shelton slowly pulling himself up, as Kerwin charges from his at him, but Shelton dodges the attack, before running to the opposite corner, and doing the same, only he manages to hit the huge corner splash. Kerwin collapses out of the corner, Shelton tries to kick him, and Kerwin counters, grabbing his foot, only this time, Shelton managed to nail the Dragon Whip. Both men were down, and the two quickly got up. Kerwin charged at the ropes, trying to get back his momentum, swinging wildly at Shelton with a clothesline, but missing. He runs at the opposite rope, and tries the same thing, only this time gets caught with the T-Bone Suplex as he is, spelling the end of the match, and of Kerwin White. Winner: Shelton Benjamin. After the match, Shelton grabs a microphone, and asks Kerwin if he remembers the stipulation he wanted to be put on this match? That if he had lost, he would admit what he truly is, a Mexican, and what his true name is. Kerwin grabbed the mic, and said 'alright, alright already!' before sighing, and saying 'My name is Chavo Guerrero, and I am Mexican', as the crowd popped for him being honest. He then slid out of the ring, looking pretty annoyed, as Shelton smiled in the ring.
Backstage, Todd Grisham again is seen performing an interview, this time on the hometown hero, Brent Albright. Todd asks Albright how he feels about not only being live on PPV for the first time ever, but also in his hometown performing, against one of the world's best wrestlers, Kurt Angle. Albright says every night he is given the chance to go out and wrestle is special, but tonight is more so. Tonight is the make or break night of his career, and he wants nothing less than a win, be it by pinfall, or preferrably, submission. He then walks away, as the screen fades out, and a video package highlighting the two men's feud plays.3) Grudge Match - Brent Albright vs Kurt Angle.Kurt Angle makes his way out towards the ring, to a chorus of boo's. The 'You Suck!' chants are louder than usual tonight, with the crowd really hating him for being against the hometown hero, Brent Albright. Then, the theme of Brent Albright plays, and the arena erupts, the hometown hero having arrived. Albright confidently walks down to the ring, slapping the hands of the fans of his hometown crowd as he does, looking as ready as possible for the match. He climbs in the ring, and stares down Kurt Angle, who stares him down in return. The two come face to face, with Angle talking to trash to Albright. Albright just smiles, before slapping Kurt Angle in the face to the shock of the crowd. Angle stumbles backwards, shocked at Albright's action, before regaining his composure, diving at Albright, the two locking up in an intense grapple. Albright forces Angle into the corner, and Angle comes running out of the corner, locks up with him again, and responds in kind. The two then trade blows, with the crowd cheering for every shot Albright lands, and booing each one of Kurt's. Kurt looks to be winning the exchange, but Albright winds up his arm, and nails a huge forearm smash, met to a big a cheer from the crowd. Albright then lifts up Angle, who has fallen, and nails him with a big belly to belly suplex, which manages a two count. He picks up Angle, but again, Angle responds in kind, nailing him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Angle has a smile, as if he's enjoying the test of Albright.
