WWE RAW Homecoming: Monday 3rd October 2005...Decent promo to kick off the show, but debatable to have Vince McMahon actually come out and welcome us back to USA Network. The legends appearing was alright, but irrelevent: how often has Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Snuka, Ricky Steamboat and Sgt Slaughter appeared on Monday Night RAW? They were all either in WCW or ECW, or retired. Stone Cold Steve Austin's interruption made the segment worthwhile, and basically did the job. Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair opening up the show is a bit odd, but I do like it. HBK with the win was obvious and I liked the mutual respect. John Cena appearing was alright, both men on his team should be quite interesting. Kurt Angle beating Brent Albright is great, the submission match that logically should finish off their feud. However it's right after the hot opening contest and it's not going to be as appreciated. The Undertaker and Randy Orton's promo was pretty sweet, but I really would have preferred saving it for SmackDown!. There was no need for it here. Kane's involvement even could have been saved for SmackDown!. Just not so sure why it's appropriate here. Edge and Christian had a good back and forth match, weird why Christian is accompanied by Booker T though. Clean victory: didn't do a lot. Just some nostalgia, which is a fine celebration for USA. Carlito to Team Bischoff at Survivor Series seems appropriate. Matt Hardy on Cena's team is acceptable. At least he's remaining relevent. Again, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio should have been saved for SmackDown! at least. Had nothing to do with RAW Homecoming, or anything too nostalgic as Rey rarely appeared on RAW from his debut to this point. Eddie's history on the brand is only limited. A good World Heavyweight Championship match, but even that was unnecessary. And that main evented? I assume it is a two-hour RAW: which is perhaps better. Could have featured divas tonight though on the side. And lastly, fun promo to close out the show, as it did the job. Overall, you had a little too much emphesis on a match that is a month and a half away: I really think you should be more directing at Cyber Sunday (and oh boy, do I hope it's still there). Survivor Series' build is way too soon, really. You now have a big challenge in stretching it out another month, should be interesting to see. The SmackDown! segments however, made SmackDown! basically not needed to be watched, because the main two feuds on the brand have been covered on RAW. Bad for business, really. A decent show, but more of preparation to the upcoming pay-per-view, which while it isn't too necessary, is original and going in a different direction. However the bit of nostalgia you did involve, I feel you could have executed better.

-Great way to open up the show. Austin giving McMahon the stunner was nearly expected for me. -HBK going over Flair is great. Cena adding them to his team is good. -Angle going over Albright is nice. Their matches have been great so far. -Benjamin joining Team Cena is nice. -Good Orton promo. Is sets up for a Kane/Orton feud. -Edge going over Christian is great. -Carlito joining Team Bischoff and Hardy joining team Cena are nice additions. -Guerrero going over Mysterio is a great call. Guerrero's title reign is looking nice. -Triple H being added to Team Bischoff was shocking. Hogan helping Team Cena stand tall was a nice way to end the show. Overall, nice RAW.

October 7th, 2005 - Austin, TX Airing on UPN, Friday Night SmackDown!Smackdown opens with the opening package, set to the theme song 'Rise Up' by Drowning Pool. The fans cheer as pyrotechnics explode across the stage, Michael Cole's voice welcoming us to this, the first ever Friday Night edition of SmackDown! He says that General Manager Teddy Long has decided tonight, a new #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship will be named, with the winners of tonight's matches going on to the main event, an over the top rope Battle Royal, the winner earning a shot at the title at Survivor Series! Following this, the World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero makes his way out to some good heat, the new champion smiling, and looking very pleased with himself. He begins to speak, saying that after a year of feeling down, 'Latino Heat' is back on top of the world! He carries on, saying that he achieved two things on Sunday night, one being crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion, and two, he injured the apparent 'Animal' Batista, and put him out of action. He says that this should stand as a warning to whoever is unfortunate enough to win the chance to face him at Survivor Series, because they too will fall at the feet of the new World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero! He then smiles, and raises the Championship up, ending the promo, and ending the first part of the show. > Commercial Break < Booker T & Christian (w/ Sharmell) def. Psicosis & Super Crazy - Booker T and Christian managed to get a small amount of retribution for thier loss at No Mercy here with a victory over two of the men who beat them at No Mercy, Psicosis and Super Crazy, as well as qualify for the Battle Royal at the end of the night. Juventud wasn't here tonight, though the reason is unknown, but his absence helped Booker and Christian keep focused on the match, and the two picked up the victory after Booker T nailed the Book End on Psicosis and followed it up with a Scissors Kick for the win. The two celebrated the win with Sharmell, as Eddie Guerrero was shown watching on a TV monitor backstage, looking at them, and then his World Heavyweight Championship. A commercial break then came in. > Commercial Break < United States Champion John B. Layfield (w/ Orlando Jordan) def. Kazarian - A really solid second contest here that was a battle of speed versus strength, as Kazarian battled the newly crowned United States Champion JBL in a non-title match here. Kazarian gave it a solid go, getting the better of JBL for much of the latter half of the match, however, the emergence of Kid Kash at ringside distracted Kazarian as he was preparing to hit the Wave of the Future for the win. Kazarian took his eyes off of JBL for a little too long, and gave him time to recover, before nailing him with the Clothesline From Hell for the victory, and for a spot in the Battle Royal at the end of the night. Layfield was handed the United States Championship by Orlando Jordan, raising the Championship up. He then asks Jordan to hand him a microphone, which he does, before beginning to speak. He says that next week, a new Cabinet will be formed, as he has a new Championship to keep safe, and once again, SmackDown! will be seen as the home of the Wrestling God once more. SmackDown! then goes to a break once more. > Commercial Break < Mr. Ken Kennedy def. Chris Benoit - A great first hour main event, and a repeat of a contest seen a few weeks ago on SmackDown!, as the undefeated Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy battled against a very pumped up, intense Chris Benoit. Benoit went out there to prove a point that nobody cheats to beat him, and took Kennedy to school, nailing a plefora of suplexes, with emphasis on his favourite variation, the German Suplex. It looked like he had the match going his way, but Orlando Jordan came to ringside as he was about to go for the Diving Headbutt, distracting him and the referee, but JBL came through the crowd, and pushed him off the turnbuckle, leaving Kennedy a prime oppurtunity to nail the Kenton Bomb for a win, and for a spot in the Battle Royal at the end of the night. Benoit exploded in anger, slamming his fists into the mat, as Kennedy backed up the ramp with JBL and Jordan just behind him. Benoit shouted at JBL and Jordan that they'd pay for this, as another commercial break began. > Commercial Break < WWE Tag Team Champions England's Elite def. Paul London & Brian Kendrick - A fast paced, rough and tumble contest between the newly crowned Tag Team Champions William Regal and Paul Burchill, and the fast paced young former stars of the independant scene, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. There was a lot of strong strikes in the contest, as well as some high flying moves from London & Kendrick, as well as power from Burchill. The match was a good contender for match of the night, and ended when Paul London missed the 450 Splash, and was quickly locked into the Royal Mutilation Armbar of Burchill's, giving the Tag Team Champions thier first victory as Tag Team Champions spots in the Battle Royal. The Tag Team Champions celebrated the win, before realising they'd have to battle each other in the Battle Royal later tonight. Regal extended his hand to Burchill, and mouthed 'may the best man win' as a commercial break began. > Commercial Break < Heidenreich def. Road Warrior Animal - This wasn't a very good match at all, as Heidenreich isn't too talented in between the ropes, and Animal is past his prime in the ring. Heidenreich was back using his old theme, and was no longer wearing facepaint. The match was basically a way of dissolving the partnership of Animal and Heidenreich, as well as possibly sending Animal off the brand, as he fell to the same Spinning Side Slam he suffered at No Mercy, the move giving Heidenreich the win and a place in the Battle Royal. After the match, Heidenreich grabbed Animal, and pulled him to the outside of the ring. When they were there, he pulled the stairs apart, and again nailed the Spinning Side Slam, this time onto the stairs. Heidenreich then gave out a big roar, as medics rushed out to attend to Animal. The commentators hyped after the break, the final qualifying match would take place, with Rey Mysterio facing Randy Orton! > Commercial Break < Rey Mysterio def. Randy Orton - A fantastic way to close out the night, two of the brand's top stars battling for the final spot in the Battle Royal in this first time ever encounter. Orton was in control for a lot of the match, but Rey battled hard as he could, trying to earn a shot at the brass ring, the World Heavyweight Championship. The match was the longest of the night, and was probably only second in quality to the match between England's Elite and London & Kendrick. The contest closed when Orton was waiting for Rey to get up so he could go for the RKO, but as he did, Kane's turnbuckle pyro went off, and startled and confused him, long enough for Rey to recover, dropkick him into the ropes, and nail a 619, followed by a splash, for the win, and the final spot in the Battle Royal. Rey celebrated the hard fought victory, Orton annoyed at how Kane had continued his vendetta against him and cost him this match. The commentators then noted the line up for the Battle Royal in order of qualification - Booker T, Christian, John B. Layfield, Mr. Kennedy, Paul Burchill, William Regal, Heidenreich and Rey Mysterio, those eight superstars battling for a shot at the gold! > Commercial Break < 8 Man Battle Royal for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship - A good way to close out the show here, eight of the top stars of SmackDown! going at it for the World Heavyweight Championship. Eddie Guerrero was sat by ringside on a chair, watching the match. The first elimination came when Booker T went for a super kick on William Regal, but he ducked, and Christian recieved it, that boot eliminating him from the match. As Booker was distracted apologising to Christian, Paul Burchill dumped him out. As Burchill was smiling and laughing at those two's misfortune, his mentor and partner Regal clotheslined him out, eliminating him. Regal then gave him a look that said 'Sorry, it needed to be done' and the match continued. The next elimination came when Chris Benoit returned the favour of JBL, and attacked Orlando Jordan, distracting JBL, allowing Rey Mysterio to eliminate him. Benoit then ran away quickly as Jordan tried to calm down JBL. William Regal was next to be eliminated, as Heidenreich used his raw power to dump him out of the match with a gorilla press. In a twist of fate, Heidenreich was next to go, as his aggressive attitude caused him to be sloppy, and his own momentum carried him over a rope Rey Mysterio held down, leaving Mysterio and Kennedy as the final two. The two battled for around 6 or 7 minutes, with neither getting the upper hand, until Kennedy lifted Rey onto his shoulders, and tried to dump him out that way. However, Rey jumped off the shoulders, and charged at the opposite ropes, but Kennedy scooped him up onto his shoulders, and ran over to the ropes, and tried to throw him out. Rey hung onto the top rope, and Kennedy's own weight pulled him over the ropes, and out of the match, leaving Rey Mysterio as the winner and NEW #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Rey Mysterio celebrated the huge win, having earnt his first one on one shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, live on Pay Per View against his former friend Eddie Guerrero, who stared him out while raising the Championship, that being the shot that closes out SmackDown! WWE SmackDown!: Friday 7th October 2005...I personally think this week in the company has been a little overpacked. I mean, No Mercy last Sunday, then RAW Homecoming. Wish this was saved a week prior like in real life. Eddie Guerrero starting the promo was obvious, gloating his World Heavyweight Championship win at No Mercy. Eddie as this sort of character that injures people just is inconvincing, though. Wonder if Batista will be back for WrestleMania 22. Good win for Booker T and Christian against The Mexicools, but really wish they would disband after this. Trucing against Psicosis and Super Crazy is alright, but this isn't such a good idea for two superstars that should be achieving a lot higher. Where is Juventud, anyway? John Bradshaw Layfield beating Kazarian is fine, but good attempt by Kazarian against the WWE United States Champion, nice to see him holding up. Orlando Jordan needs to step out from being a manager and actually start being credible like many other superstars in the company. Ken Kennedy and Chris Benoit had a good match, surprised Kennedy won though. Weird to see Jordan here. I fele that this show is seriously lacking in backstage segments or non-wrestling promos. Paul Burchill and Wiliam Regal with the win against Paul London and Brian Kendrick is ideal, good way to show off the WWE Tag Team Champions. Heidenreich beating Road Warrior Animal was odd. More of a vicious side to him could be good. Just the way to get Animal off-screen. Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton not main eventing is just bad, even if this is just to prepare a match, even then it'd have been a great idea for this to open the show, actually. Kane's involvement was nice. Strange turn of events though. The battle royal closing was obvious, eight man battle royal sounds so unworth it, though. Rey facing Eddie at Survivor Series should be good, as long as it isn't for the belt. A good fallout show, but I feel it should have involved more skits or promos. It just seemed like you'd played a pay-per-view on EWR and put all matches in rather than segments. That's the only put-off.

-Guerrero's promo was realistic and expected as he had just won the World Heavyweight Title. -Good start with Booker and Christian over the Mexicools here, Christian needed the win. -JBL over Kazarian was expected since Kazarian is talented, JBL's size would come into play. -Kennedy over Benoit is fine, but it's happened a bit too much and Benoit might start to look weak losing to the rookie twice or three times. -England's Elite over Londrick is good to build up their team. -Heidenreich over Animal was the right call to a decent bout, wonder if Heidenreich gets a push now. -PPV quality night here, not sure about this great match and then a Battle Royal main event, this could first houred here.\ -Mysterio/Guerrero feud continuing is great. Especially for the WHC. Don't care who wins this one, should be good. -Good show; just really packed. Keep it up, Shifty.

Sunday Night HEAT - Rob Conway def. Val Venis Stevie Richards def. Tajiri Brent Albright def. Chavo Guerrero October 10th, 2005 - Corpus Christi, TX. LIVE! on the USA network, Monday Night RAW! RAW begins with a quick highlight package showing Team Bischoff, and Team Cena battling to close out last week's hsitoric WWE Homecoming, with the shock of the night being the return of the iconic Hulk Hogan as Cena's fifth, and final team member! RAW's usual opening video then plays, before the pyrotechnics open the show, and the theme of Eric Bischoff plays.
Bischoff, along with his four team members at Survivor Series make thier way out to the ring, Bischoff quickly grabbing a microphone. He says that if Cena thinks that he got the better of him last week, he was wrong, and he must have forgotten that Eric Bischoff is the General Manager of RAW, and nobody else. He says tonight, he intends to make not only Cena, but also his team-mates lives a living hell tonight, as all of Team Cena will have to face various opponents alone, and he can guarantee they will not win a single one of thier matches! He then laughs and smiles with his team as his theme plays, part one of this edition of Monday Night RAW over!
> Commercial Break < Muhammad Hassan & Daivari def. The Hurricane & Rosey to retain the World Tag Team Championships - Solid opening bout between these two teams here, a return match from Unforgiven with the former champions using thier rematch clause. The fans were behind the very popular duo of Hurricane and Rosey, but it wasn't to be tonight, as Hassan hit Rosey with a steel pipe as the ref's back was turned, before tagging in Daivari, who nailed a leg drop from the top rope to earn the win.
Hassan and Daivari back up the ramp, raising up thier World Tag Team Championships as they do, much to the dismay of the fans. In the ring, Hurricane climbs in, and looks down at Rosey, before yelling in his face "I wasted years of my life teaming with you!" He then waits for him to begin to get up, before charging at the ropes, and nailing him with a shining wizard, knocking him out cold! Hurricane then removed his mask, and stormed up the ramp, the fans in a shocked silence as commercials come in.
> Commercial Break < Backstage, John Cena is sat in the locker room, talking with his team-mates. He asks them if they are ready for tonight, and they all say yes, with Hogan and Michaels assuring everyone that whatever Bischoff tries tonight, there will have been worse thrown at them over the course of thier careers. Bischoff then enters the room, all of Team Cena getting to thier feet and looking ready for a fight, but Bischoff instead points at Matt Hardy, telling him he better get to the ring now, because he has a match now! Hardy leaves the room, looking slightly anxious at what awaits, as a Survivor Series promo package plays.
The Bashams def. Matt Hardy - Hardy stood no chance in this encounter, as The Bashams were exempt from any form of disqualification, as Bischoff had told the referee that they weren't to be disqualified. This change in the rules helped The Bashams take the win very easily, as they battered Hardy with several weapons before pinning him with one foot from each man on his chest.
The Bashams smiled at the damage they had caused to the much loved Matt Hardy, with Hardy very badly injured on the canvas, Bischoff being seen backstage watching on a television with a smile on his face. Team Cena rushed out to Hardy's aid, as another commercial break came in, with the commentators hyping that another Team Cena member will be in action after the break.
> Commercial Break < Carlito & Kurt Angle def. Shawn Michaels - Two of Shawn Michaels' rivals from this past year, and also his opponents come Survivor Series were in action here, as Michaels battled valiantly in this two on one handicap match up. Though he wasn't beaten as violently as Matt Hardy, he did come away from the match in bad shape, as Angle and Carlito picked apart his back before Carlito nailed the Backstabber for the win in this contest.
Angle and Carlito shook hands, and congratulated each other on the effort they showed in this match, before the theme of Triple H hit, and 'The Game' made his way down to the ring, sledgehammer in hand. He told Angle and Carlito to pick up Michaels, which they did, and hold him up. He then smashed Michaels in the face with Sledgehammer, bloodying him, and leaving him knocked out on the canvas. The Team Bischoff members then left ringside, as commercials started up again.
> Commercial Break < Monday Night RAW returns with John Cena entering the doctor's office, where Shawn Michaels is being stitched up. Michaels says to Cena that he's fine, and that it looks worse than it is, and that he'll be back with him and the rest of the team as soon as possible. Cena tells him he hopes he'll be okay, before leaving the room, the camera then returning to the arena.
Womens Champion Trish Stratus def. Christy Hemme (Non-Title) - A Wrestlemania 21 rematch of sorts here, although the quality was not much better than the original. Trish looked to be in good ring shape, and didn't seem too rusty as she put away Christy following the Chick Kick.
Trish celebrated the win, holding up her Womens Championship, but she was attacked from behind by the 'Anti-Diva' Victoria. Victoria pounded fists into her face, before picking her up and nailing her with the Widow's Peak. She then took a microphone, and said that once she's beaten the ultimate slut and taken her Womens Championship at Survivor Series, she'll make sure that no more of these 'divas' even have a look in at the Womens Championship ever again! She drops the mic, and holds up the Womens Championship, as a commercial break begins.
> Commercial Break < RAW returns with Eric Bischoff making his way out to the ring, with a microphone in hand. He says that he is ordering Shelton Benjamin to come to the ring alone right now! Shelton then makes his way down to the ring, and when he gets there, Bischoff says his match is with someone he knows very well. A submissions match, that is!
Charlie Haas def. Shelton Benjamin in a Submission Match - A great wrestling match here between these two talents, as Charlie Haas made a return to WWE programming after being released from contract in July. It was a great match where the fans backed Benjamin solidly, but it ended badly for him, as he was locked in the Haas of Pain, and forced to tap out to end the match.
Haas released the hold as the match ended, before being ordered by Bischoff to put him back in the Haas of Pain. Haas reluctantly did as Bischoff told him to, Benjamin crying out in pain before passing out. Haas then let go, and stormed to the back, as Bischoff grinned, having gotten the better of another Team Cena member. At this point, the SmackDown! LoDown played, this week highlighting the battle royal for the number one contendership to Eddie Guerrero's World Heavyweight Championship, with the match evetually being won by Rey Mysterio, and a clash between the two Mexican warriors being set for Survivor Series next month! Commercials began once the video finished playing.
> Commercial Break < Backstage, Eric Bischoff talks with his team members, who congratulate him on the job well done, having took out three of the five members of Team Cena. He says the night is not over yet, and the best is yet to come. He then tells Big Show to go and prepare for the main event, as the camera fades back to the arena.
Kane def. The Heart Throbs - A somewhat funny squash match here, with the two apparent 'Heart Throbs' Romeo and Antonio trying to beat the 'Big Red Machine' Kane, who returned in spectacular style last week at WWE Homecoming. The contest ended when Kane nailed a huge chokeslam on both men to a great pop from the crowd, before covering Romeo to take the win.
Kane was about to set off his turnbuckle fire in celebration when he was took down from behind by the 'Legend Killer' Randy Orton. Orton stopped all over Kane, and kicked him in his head, before dropping to the canvas, and waiting for him to get up. When Kane got to his feet, Orton dropped him with an RKO, sending him straight back down to mat. He then did his siganture pose to the boo's of the crowd, as the commentators hyped Hulk Hogan and John Cena would team in the main event next!
> Commercial Break < RAW returned with Eric Bischoff stood in the ring with The Big Show, saying that tonight's main event will be a Tag Team Gauntlet, that will be ran by WWE Champion John Cena, and Hulk Hogan! The two then make thier way down to the ring, and the gauntlet begins.
WWE Champion John Cena & Hulk Hogan def. Snitsky & Tomko - Cena and Hogan worked well against the powerhouses Snitsky and Tomko, who caused them some, but not much trouble, with them eventually managing to defeat the large duo with an FU followed up by a Leg Drop from Hogan.
WWE Champion John Cena & Hulk Hogan def. Chris Masters & Simon Dean - Simon Dean and his favourite Simon System customer Chris Masters were next to step up and have a go at this multi-world Championship winning duo in Cena and Hogan, but they suffered a similar fate when Dean was pinned after an FU from Cena.
Eric Bischoff & The Big Show def. WWE Champion John Cena & Hulk Hogan - After seeing two teams fall to the two men still in the ring, Bischoff had enough, and decided to enter the fray himself along with The Big Show. Big Show took both men down, first Cena with a Big Boot, then Hogan with a Chokeslam, before Bischoff kicked Cena to bits, and pinned him following a stiff kick to the head to give his team the win.
Bischoff celebrated, screaming in Cena's face that he beat him, and will again at Survivor Series, as Big Show smiled saying that this will happen again. The two were then joined by the rest of the team, who raised thier arms in unison in the ring, the camera panning over each man's face, as Team Bischoff goads Cena and Hogan on the mat to close the show.

-Team Cena in these handicaps to their disadvantage makes things more interesting. -First off, I love the layout here. -Hassan and Daivari need a good reign as the champions. Hope they get one. -The Bashams over Hardy was definitely expected since it's two-on-one. -Angle and Carlito over HBK was expected. Glad he put up a good fight though. -Triple H on Team Bischoff is huge! I normally can predict which team would win, this is hard though. -Stratus over Hemme is fine here. -I feel Benjamin needed this since he's on the SS card and Haas isn't. Still, a decent call. -Kane over Heart Throbs is expected due to Kane's dominance. -I love Cena and Hogan's dominance here. glad Bischoff pinned Cena as it highlights their feud and gives him something to brag about. -Very good RAW; looking forward to more build to Survivor Series.

I like Hassan/Daivari as tag team champions and I really liked seeing Rosey turning heel on Hurricane. Rosey could be a viable mid-card big man heel if pushed correctly. Didn’t like the booking of handicap matches right after each other. Did like seeing Carlito picking up the win, though. I’m sure Haas/Benjamin would have put on a good show and its good to see them used in singles wrestling. A third handicap match? Really? I don’t think that stipulation was needed three different times. The tag teams before the last portion of the gauntlet seemed pretty weak. Also, not a fan of Bischoff pinning Cena at all. Its not a big deal, I guess, but it just doesn’t seem right to have Bischoff of all people winning the gauntlet. Decent show with a few booking flaws, in my opinion.

WWE Velocity - Kazarian def. Vito Orlando Jordan def. Kenn Doane. MNM def. Akio, Funaki, & Gail Kim. October 14th, 2005 - San Antonio, TX. Airing on UPN, Friday Night SmackDown! SmackDown! opens with the same video package that aired on Monday Night RAW, highlighting the win of Rey Mysterio in the battle royal last week, which has set the scene for SmackDown!'s main event at Survivor Series between Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero. The usual opening video package for SmackDown! then plays.
The theme of Rey Mysterio then plays, as the new number one contender makes his way out to the ring. Grabbing a microphone, he says he has never been more excited in his career than he is right now, saying that the chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship in a one on one match, live on PPV, is truly the pinnacle of his career. He is then interrupted by Eddie Guerrero, the World Heavyweight Champion making his way out. Eddie warns him not to get to comfortable with his position, as it's gonna be his first, and last, shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Eddie Guerrero. Rey says he's glad Eddie said that, because all he needs is one chance at him to take the gold! Eddie then says that he isn't going to waste anymore time talking, because all that he needs to say will be said in the ring at Survivor Series. Eddie then climbs out of the ring, and walks away, staring down Rey Mysterio. Mysterio stares tensely back, but Rey charges at the opposite rope, and uses the momentum to dive over the ropes, taking down Guerrero with a plancha to the delight of the crowd! A commercial break then comes in to end the first part of the show.
> Commercial Break < The Mexicools def. Brian Kendrick, Paul London & Scotty 2 Hotty - Phenomenal way to open up tonight's show, with a huge fast paced encounter between six of the WWE's top cruiserweight performers. The Mexicools worked well as a unit, and that was all that helped them take the win really, as 'The Juice' Juventud was able to nail the 450 Splash thanks to Psicosis and Super Crazy holding down Scotty, and giving them the win.
The Mexicools celebrate after the match, climbing onto thier "Juan Deere" lawn mowers, and heading backstage, with the three cruiserweights left in the ring holding thier bodies in pain, having failed in thier attempt to win the match tonight. A commercial break begins following this.
> Commercial Break <
A promo plays, hyping the debut of a new superstar. The promo says that this superstar will be soft spoken, but very hard hitting, before telling us his name is Lashley.
Mr. Kennedy def. Matt Bentley - Kenendy had a solid match up here with local competitor Matt Bentley, who could well be a future superstar. The match wasn't very back and forth, but Kennedy got some good heat from the fans for the manner in which he went about winning the match, ending it with a Green Bay Plunge.
After the match, Kennedy grabs a microphone, and announces himself as the winner in his usual extravagent manner, as a commercial break fades in.
> Commercial Break < SmackDown! returns with the ring decked out in red, white and blue decoration, with Orlando Jordan is stood in the ring. He then intorudces the new United States Champion, JBL!
JBL's theme plays, as the Limosuine, with American flag's on the hood, pulls into the arena. Two identical looking men, dressed in suits, and shades, open the door for JBL, who walks out in a new looking suit, with Jillian Hall by his side. The four all head to the ring, where JBL takes Orlando's microphone, and introduces his new cabinet; Co-Secretaries of Defence Thomas and Todd Shane, Image Consultant Jillian Hall, and his Chief of Staff, Orlando Jordan. He says tonight is the beginning of a new era in the United States Championship's history, and a new title reign means a new cabinet is needed. He says that along with his cabinet, he invites everyone to enjoy a celebration of his United States Championship win, but Chris Benoit interrupts at this point, saying that he has heard enough of JBL's crap! He says JBL cheated to take the United States Championship, and that he doesn't intend to take it lying down, as he's challenging JBL to a rematch at Survivor Series! JBL says that if Benoit wants to try and take down the Cabinet and take back the United States Championship, he's welcome to try! Benoit says he will, before making a cut throat gesture at the Cabinet, his theme playing as this part of SmackDown! ends.
> Commercial Break < Backstage, Booker T and Christian, along with Sharmell, are being interviewed by Josh Matthews. Matthews says that Booker and Christian have been given a big chance to shine tonight against the WWE Tag Team Champions England's Elite, and asks for thier thoughts. Christian says that Tag Team wrestling is in both of thier blood, and that there is only one guaranteed outcome to the match tonight, Christian and Booker T coming out as winners! Booker T then says 'Now can you dig that!' and Sharmell finishes it with 'Sucka?!', the three walking away to finish the interview.
Kid Kash def. Jamie Noble - A match which saw Cruiserweight Champion Nunzio sit in on commentary here, and one that was quick paced, though not as quick as the six man tag seen earlier in the night. Kash dominated the majority of the match, showing what he could do, before finishing the match with the Dead Level.
Kash celebrated the win, pumping his fists into the air, before signalling to Nunzio that he wanted the Cruiserweight Championship, to which Nunzio responded by holding up the Championship, telling him he wasn't going to get it. The two Cruiserweights stared down as a break came in.
> Commercial Break < Booker T & Christian (w/ Sharmell) def. WWE Tag Team Champions England's Elite. (Non-Title) - A great tag team match here between four fantastic performers. Booker and Christian's infectious charisma shone through, and the crowd are really on thier side now. Burchill's in ring ability is getting more and more chances each week to be shown, and he was at his best performance so far in this match. The match ended when Regal missed the Knee Trembler, and was locked into the Unprettier by Christian, giving him and Booker the win!
Regal and Burchill looked at Booker and Christian somewhat shocked, as the unlikely twosome signalled that they may be coming for the tag team gold some time soon! The crowd cheered as the RAW Rebound played, highlighting the unfair matches Team Cena had to wrestle in this past week, and how RAW ended with Eric Bischoff pinning WWE Champion John Cena! A commercial break then begins after this.
> Commercial Break < Randy Orton def. Hardcore Holly - A pretty decent penultimate contest here tonight, with the Hardcore veteran Bob Holly battling against 'Legend Killer' Randy Orton in a very strike heavy contest. Holly did very well against the young superstar Orton, but he was too much for him in the end, winning the match with the RKO.
Orton celebrated the win over the veteran Holly, throwing up his arms in his signature pose. Strangely as he did though, the usual turnbuckle pyro of Kane exploded out of the ring corners, startling Orton, who quickly ran out of the arena, scared for his safety! The commentators then hyped the main event of Heidenreich battling Rey Mysterio, as the night's final commercial break came in!
> Commercial Break < Rey Mysterio def. Heidenreich - Not the best main event there could be, but an entertaining one, as the power vs. speed made for an entertaining clash. Heidenreich underestimated Mysterio, and tried to bully him, but the Masked Superstar rallied back, and eventually nailed the 619 to take the win.
Mysterio got up from the pin, still somewhat pained by the power moves of Heidenreich, but the chance to celebrate was stopped by Eddie Guerrero, obviously wanting revenge after the attack from Mysterio earlier. He knocked him down with a steel chair, before nailing a Brainbuster onto the same chair. He then placed the chair onto Rey, and nailed a Frog Splash from the top rope onto him, hurting himself, but Rey much more. Eddie then got to his feet, and raised his World Heavyweight Championship over Rey, this being the shot to end SmackDown!

-A very good promo to open SmackDown, to hype the World Heavyweight Championship, hard to decifer who I think will win here. -A solid start, the Mexicools winning is fine either way here. Could get them closer to Cruiserweight Title contention that the losers though they are a stable. -Kennedy winning here was expected, especially to a local. -Benoit and JBL at Survivor Series is cool, looking forward to that. -Kash over Noble is fine, looked like a filler, with all these Cruiserweight battles, I'd expect a Cruiserweight Title match to take place. -That or Christian and Booker challenging for the WWE Tag Titles here. Big win for them. -Orton over Holly looked basically to build him. I can't wait for his match with Kane at SS. -Mysterio over Heidenreich looked to hype his World Heavyweight Title match, to show he's at his best, decent main event, here. -Solid show; hoping for an SD Survivor Series match.

WWE RAW: Monday 10th October 2005...Much better layout, very nice to see at long last. The old layout, whilst interesting, just looked ugly to me. Eric Bischoff in the ring was nice, wow, Hulk Hogan being the fifth member of Team RAW was something I missed, hopefully you keep him down to a minimal capacity, though. Could see Cena face Hogan at WrestleMania 22, but how you sort this out realistically will be difficult with Hogan's body breaking down. Muhammad Hassan and Daivari retaining the World Tag Team Championship was decent, a good opening contest and not bad at all. Hopefully with The Hurricane and Rosey disbanding, you have backup teams in plan. Strange that the Basham Brothers got Matt Hardy in a handicap match. I feel Doug and Danny would have blown it on live Monday night television, though. Wondering how you can still drag enthusiasm out of them, they're pretty past it in a way. Another handicap match, assume this is just Eric Bischoff abusing power. Nice opening hour main event, obvious Carlito and Kurt Angle would beat Shawn Michaels, it was a nice attempt by Shawn though. Loved Triple H hinting a DX reunion, then turning his back on HBK, bit far with the sledgehammer though maybe. Trish Stratus beating Christy Hemme was likely. Looking forward to Victoria's challenge. Just hold back on hyping Survivor Series, as you have about five weeks left. While I think Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas are great, I feel at this stage in the company, they would have been better in face tag team mode: an actually credible competition for Hassan and Daivari. Also Haas' debut in a submission match...should have been built. If this was a submission match, it also should have been in the first hour main event or opening contest at least. Kane beating the Heart Throbs was predictable, he needs something to do. Loved Cena and Hogan overcoming two weak teams of undercarders before Big Show and Eric Bischoff won. Very nice to see, classic heels. Would love to see Chris Masters and Simon Dean & Snitsky and Tyson Tomko booked better, though. They're useless as heels when we have dominant heel champions already. A decent show though. You have a massively long wait until Survivor Series, left it too early.
WWE SmackDown!: Friday 14th October 2005...Rey Mysterio starting off the show is nice, again, you're building too soon for Survivor Series in thirty days. Looking forward to another match between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero though, should be fun. Hopefully their last encounter, though. Solid six-man tag team action to kick off the show, glad to see Scotty 2 Hotty hanging with the cruiserweights in credible capacity still. Was shocked Kazarian didn't get his place though. Bobby Lashley debuting could be nice. Mr Kennedy beating Matt Bentley was good, liked Bentley being squashed for realism. JBL's promo was good, hope to see more of the Cabinet instead of it just falling apart. The Shane Twins in the Bashams' place is nice, hope to see some development between the two though. Liked Chris Benoit having to go through all of Cabinet to get to Layfield though, this story could stretch out to Armageddon. Kid Kash beating Jamie Noble is fine, just to show Kash as a threat to Nunzio's WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Booker T and Christian beating Paul Burchill and William Regal was nice, showing Booker and Christian as good threats to the WWE Tag Team Championships. Randy Orton and Hardcore Holly would be entertaining, obvious win for Orton. Interesting idea for a main event with Heidenreich still relevent against Rey Mysterio. A great show overall, you've booked SmackDown! so good this week, perhaps it's not the end either. Really proud of this brand.

Sunday Night HEAT - Chris Masters def. Stevie Richards. Snitsky and Tomko def. Val Venis & Viscera Chavo Guerrero def. Tajiri October 17th, 2005 - Sacramento, CA. LIVE! on the USA network, Monday Night RAW! Following the usual opening package of RAW set to 'Across The Nation' by Union Underground, and the pyrotechnics display that opens the show, the theme of Eric Bischoff plays, and the RAW General Manager makes his way out along with his team at Survivor Series.
In the ring, Bischoff begins to brag, saying that after what he did last week, John Cena's team isn't going to make it to Survivor Series. He says that three of them were physically injured, and the other two's ego's were deflated permanently when they were beaten by Eric Bischoff! Bischoff continues, saying that he is the General Manager of this brand, and still will be after Survivor Series, and he can guarantee that Cena and his friends won't be celebrating a victory the next night. He finishes the promo by saying tonight he is going to treat the fans, as in tonight's main event, John Cena will defend the WWE Championship against the 'Big Red Monster' Kane! He says that's not all though, as the contest will have a few 'special guests' - a special guest trainer in Kurt Angle, a special guest photographer in Carlito, a special guest time keeper in Triple H, and two special guest commentators in Eric Bischoff, and The Big Show. With this blockbuster announcement made, the first commercial break of the night comes in.
> Commercial Break < World Tag Team Champions Muhammad Hassan & Daivari def. Brent Albright & Charlie Haas - The first time teaming together of tag team specialist Charlie Haas, and the rookie Albright looked to be a strong one, and the two pushed Hassan and Daivari to the limit, but it wasn't enough in the end, as Hassan managed to squeeze out the win with his Reverse STO, which the commentators called The Last Call, on Albright for the win.
Haas quickly enters the ring, helping Albright to his feet, as Hassan and Daivari are handed the World Tag Team Championships, the two taking thier second win as Champions here tonight. A commercial break then comes in.
> Commercial Break < RAW returns with an unfamiliar theme song, and the lights purple, before out steps The Hurricane from behind the curtain. He has a microphone in his hand, introducing himself as 'Gregory Helms', before saying that he is no longer wanting to be a joke, instead a serious competitor, vying for Championship gold. He says tonight, when he's beaten that tub of lard he wasted two years with called Rosey, everyone will recognise that Gregory Helms is the next top star of the WWE!
Gregory Helms def. Rosey - Pretty decent contest here which told a good story. Rosey came out decked in the Superhero attire, but Helms, dressed in trunks and kickers, was having none of it, calling him a joke, and telling him that he's done with him. Rosey was reluctant to fight him, but Helms didn't return the feeling, smashing Rosey with a Shining Wizard to take the win.
Helms verbally abused Rosey, and went back into a corner of the ring, waiting for Rosey to try and get up, and when he did, hitting him with a Shining Wizard. Helms did this several times, until finally Rosey could get up no more, and needed medical assistance. Helms walked away pleased with himself, as commercials began.
> Commercial Break < Carlito & Kurt Angle def. Shawn Michaels & Matt Hardy - Solid match up to close out the first hour of the night's action with Shawn Michaels and Matt Hardy, both of whom were feeling less than 100%, facing off against Intercontinental Champion Carlito and Kurt Angle. Despite the fitness of Michaels and Hardy, they still battled well, but not well enough, as Carlito pinned his former rival HBK following a Backstabber.
Angle and Carlito celebrate, having gotten the better of Shawn Michaels once again tonight, and this time Matt Hardy as well. The camera then goes backstage, where Todd Grisham is interviewing Kane. He is about to ask Kane a question, but Kane snatches the mic away. Kane says that he will be the WWE Champion for the second time by the end of tonight, and warns Randy Orton should he turn up and ruin this chance at the gold for him, there will be hell to pay. He then laughs manically, commercials starting up once more as he does.
> Commercial Break < Victoria def. Ashley - Not a good contest here between these two, mainly because of Ashley's lack of ring experience, but the crowd was into it, Victoria now over as a heel, and Ashley very popular amongst the males in the audience. The match ended with Victoria nailing the Widow's Peak on Ashley not once, but twice, before covering as a way of sending a message to Trish Stratus!
Victoria celebrated the win over Ashley, saying to Trish that this will be her at Survivor Series! Trish, who had been on commentary for the match, raises her Womens Championship, telling Victoria to bring it, as the commentators hype that Triple H will battle Shelton Benjamin after the Commercial Break!
> Commercial Break < Shelton Benjamin def. Triple H - Fantastic contest here, easily match of the night, as once again Triple H and Shelton Benjamin went at it in a classic battle. Benjamin battled hard against 'The Game' Triple H, but it didn't seem like it was going to pay off, until a distraction from Hulk Hogan, who emerged at the top of the stage with his music playing distracted Triple H, who then turned around into the T-Bone Suplex which gave Shelton a huge win!
Shelton Benjamin celebrated, as he once again had gotten the better of Triple H, this time thanks to a distraction from the Iconic Hulk Hogan! Hogan and Shelton celebrated together, as the SmackDown! rebound played, reminding us of what transpired on SmackDown!, with Rey Mysterio defeating Heidenreich, before being brutally assaulted by Eddie Guerrero. A commercial break faded in following this.
> Commercial Break < RAW returns with the theme of Edge playing, the Money in the Bank briefcase holder making his way out with Lita. He grabs a microphone, and says that he hopes nobody has forgotten about him in his absence. He says that he is recovering from some injuries he suffered at the hands of that idiot Matt Hardy, but says he will be back soon, and when he returns, he'll prove he's still better than everybody sat in the arena, and everyone at home. At this point, he is interrupted by Rob Van Dam, who gets a fantastic pop from the crowd, with the injured superstar making his way out to the ring. He says everybody knows Edge is injured, because everybody checks WWE.Com, and everybody knows that Rob Van Dam is injured, but that doesn't mean he comes out here and rants at the crowd about it. He says he can't wait for his knee to be fully healed, because one of the first things he intends on doing is kicking Edge's head off! Edge then says it's a shame that only one man in the ring right now can kick, and that's him, because he's about to kick someone's ass! Edge then knee's Van Dam in the gut, before nailing him with the Edgecution DDT. He then waits in the corner, before spearing him down, taking out Van Dam. He then tells Lita to get two chairs, which she does, before he slides one under Van Dam's head, and smashes the other into his head! Edge then drops the chair, and grabs Lita, the two posing to a chorus of boo's as a commercial break starts.
> Commercial Break < RAW returned, with Team Bischoff making thier way down to the ring to perform thier duties as 'special guest' staff at ringside for the WWE Championship match next!
John Cena def. Kane to retain the WWE Championship - Not a bad contest to say this is the first time these two have locked horns. Kane was determined to take the WWE Championship for the second time, but Cena wasn't going down without a fight. As Cena lifted Kane up for the FU, Team Bischoff, who until now had been doing thier 'jobs' like they should have been, stood up, and the four Superstars were ordered to climb onto the apron by Bischoff, and attack Cena. However, Cena's own Team rushed down to the ring, and even'd the odds, a brawl breaking out at ringside. Amongst the chaos, Randy Orton nailed his rival Kane with an RKO, and Cena followed it up with an FU to take the retain his championship!
Cena doesn't celebrate, rather heads out of the ring, striking Bischoff hard in the face sending him crashing into a barricade, before helping his team fight off the rest of Team Bischoff. This week Team Cena stands tall as one, Bischoff throwing a fit, as RAW ends.

-A big main event tonight, Cena/Kane for the WWE Title. Should be good. -Hassan and Daivari seem to have a lengthy reign, they are doing well and I hope it continues. -Helms over Rosey is fine, setting up the big heel turn, it should be nice. -Carlito and Kurt over Hardy and HBK was a good match, don't see Bischoff's team winning at SS, considering him not a star like the other nine are. -Victoria over Ashley is fine, really hope you push Massaro. -Hulk's distraction was good, it allowed Benjamin to get the better of HHH again, and to get him on the card, very useful. -Great main event with a big brawl to close. Cena retaining was expected and realistic. -Good show; can't wait to SS.

That was a well written episode of RAW. I'm liking Helms' character, and I suppose he has to start somewhere with a win against Rosey. Hopefully he moves on to bigger and better things. Shelton Benjamin with a win over Triple H is huge, and great for a push also. I hope you do. This is a time where Benjamin was so under-utilised. Cena going over in the main event is obviously the best decision, as Kane would suck as champion, especially bland 2005 Kane.

Good opening segment as I like seeing the champion having to overcome the odds. Good job with that. I can get behind a tag team of Haas and Albright. They have similar styles but are both pretty bland on the microphone so maybe a manager for them at some point if they are going to be a regular tag team. What the.. I thought Rosey was the heel in this? Didn’t Rosey turn on Helms last time on RAW? I just re-read the last RAW and I must have completely misread that, so sorry about that. Good start for the new Helms heel attitude. Very good first hour main event and I really like seeing Carlito getting the pin over Michaels at a time where Carlito was at the peak of his popularity. I hope Benjamin’s win over HHH leads to a huge push. I liked the Edge/RVD segment. Nicely done with that. Nice ending to a very good show. Nicely done, sir!

- Good opening promo here. Like all the crap Bischoff is doing to be in overcontrol towards Cena. A title match sounds good. - Happy to see the victory for Hassan and Daivari, but I don't get Haas and Albright as a team... Albright has dropped big time. - Helms defeating Rosey I am definitely fine with. Like that Helms stayed aggressive afterward, too. - Pretty good first hour main event tag team match. Awesome to see Carlito get the pin over HBK yet again. It's good for him. - Yep. Diva's match. Let's just put a bunch of space here where I can fit in how much I care for it. () - Love that Shelton once again got a victory over Triple H, even if Hogan cost it. Hopefully it leads to big things. - Awesome segment between Edge and Rob Van Dam there. Conchairto finishing it off, as well? Nice. - Cena getting the win over Kane was obvious. The interference from Orton was, too. Like that Cena socked Bischoff, as well. There. I gave you your reply to what you preferred. Happy!? Good show.

This is going well for you thus far, 2005 is a great year for WWE, I like the Heat results at the top, I bet Chavo/ Tajiri would have been a show stealer the used to do that on heat sometimes shove lowercards tallent together and they produce a great match so good realistic booking, don't know if you did it but the fine black border around the graphic makes the graphic stand out, "a special guest trainer" wtf nice idea though although I'd prefer Angle on announcers duty and Show somewhere else, f'ing love the booking on the first match Albright and Haas are prefectly suited while Hassan and Davari as tag champs is intresting, weried segment for Hurricane to change into Helms thought it could have been more dragged out, makes sense for Helms to go over hopefully he uses the Vertebreaker on smaller oppenents you could make it work, liking the tag match the partners are a bit random but make sense as they are SS partners and it looks like it would be a good match, good to see Victoria win and you pushing tallent over plastic, Shelton over HHH is huge loving it and give him a solid push, I like the idea of two injured tallents being on TV to build up a feud although I don't like them fighting if they are really inujred, loving the classic WWE ending of a big brawl and I like Orton sneaking in for an RKO, good luck and keep this up.

WWE Velocity - Orlando Jordan def. Matt Bentley Kid Kash def. Hardcore Holly Paul Burchill def. Christian October 21, 2005 - Reno, NV. Airing on UPN, Friday Night SmackDown! The show begins as usual, with the opening package set to 'Rise Up' by Drowning Pool, followed by the pyrotechnics display. Michael Cole and Tazz welcome the fans to the show, saying tonight will see an interesting main event, as there will be a tag team match, with World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero and United States Champion JBL teaming to take on Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit!
Kazarian def. Cruiserweight Champion Nunzio (w/ Vito) - Straight into the action tonight on SmackDown!, as one of the top contenders for the Cruiserweight Championship Kazarian took on the current champion Nunzio. This one was a little less impressive than thier No Mercy outing in terms of quality, but the end was more pleasing for the fans, as Kazarian took home a W following the Wave Of The Future.
Kazarian celebrated the win, as Vito rolled Nunzio out of the ring, the Cruiserweight Champion hurting after this loss. Kid Kash stormed the ring, steel chair in hand, looking to make an impact, but Kazarian was ready for him, and the three rivals ended up staring each other down, no attack taking place as SmackDown! goes to commercials.
> Commercial Break < SmackDown! returns with John B. Layfield backstage with his cabinet, the five of them discussing tonight's main event, when in walks Chris Benoit. Benoit says he doesn't like the main event any more than JBL, or his 'cabinet' does, but tonight he has one objective, and that's to win the match. JBL says he likes Benoit's attitude, but Benoit cuts him off, and says that he's not only going to win tonight, but also when they have a United States Championship rematch at Survivor Series! The two briefly stare down, before Benoit leaves, SmackDown! continuing.
Super Crazy and Psicosis (w/ Juventud) def. Akio and Funaki (w/ Gail Kim)- More fast paced action here on SmackDown! tonight, as it looks like the Cruiserweight division may have some life in it yet. This was a pretty back and forth match up, with Akio and Funaki having a lot of crowd support following thier upset win over MNM at No Mercy, but sadly for them this one did not end the same way as that match did, as Psicosis hit Akio with a garden rake passed to him by Juventud, before tagging in Super Crazy who nailed a single Moonsault for the win.
The Mexicools all celebrated a big win for thier crew, Super Crazy and Psicosis glad of the outside assistance they recieved. Gail Kim tended to her team, scowling at the Mexican Team as SmackDown! went to commercials.
> Commercial Break < Backstage, Booker T, Christian, and Sharmell are in the office of Teddy Long. Teddy says that he saw the impressive win that they earned over the WWE Tag Team Champion's England's Elite last week, and so has decided to award them a shot at the gold at Survivor Series! Regal and Burchill then walk in, outraged at the decision, Regal challenging either of the two to a match later tonight, Booker stepping up and accepting!
MNM (w/ Melina) def. Paul London and Brian Kendrick - The match quality on the blue brand is better than ever, and this match displayed that fantastically! London and Kendrick have been proving to be plucky youngsters, with the more experienced WWE Superstar London proving to be a solid partner to the returning Kendrick. This one was back and forth for a while, but after a crossbody by Kendrick was blocked, MNM managed to hit thier Snapshot move, and Mercury covered for the three count!
MNM celebrate on the outside, having gained some steam again, recieving kisses from Melina for the job well done. London helps up Kendrick, telling him he did good, the two swearing they'll beat MNM as commercials come in.
> Commercial Break < Booker T (w/ Christian and Sharmell) def. WWE Tag Team Champion William Regal (w/ Paul Burchill) - Some solid back and forth action in this one. It's evident Booker and Christian are getting over as a duo, though there was more cheers for Christian despite him not being involved in the match. Regal used all the tricks in the heel book, but none could protect him from Booker taking the win in the end, as he fell victim to the Scissor Kick which gave Booker the three.
Christian celebrates with Sharmell on the outside, with Booker quickly heading out to join them. Burchill was banging his fists on the mat as he helped Regal up, frustrated with the outcome of the match. The commentators hyped that Randy Orton had something to say to Survivor Series opponent Kane, but it was coming up after the break!
> Commercial Break < SmackDown! returns from the break, with the RAW Rebound playing. It highlights Randy Orton costing Kane the WWE Championship in the main event, before a brawl broke out between Team Bischoff and Team Cena to close the show!
SmackDown! then heads to the arena where Randy Orton is making his way out to the ring. He climbs in, and takes a mic, before speaking, saying that on Monday Night he did what Kane did to him, and cost him a World Championship. He says that Kane made a huge mistake getting involved in his brother's fight, and come Survivor Series, he'll throw him in a casket, and light him up as well! He finishes by saying The Undertaker said it would be him resting in peace, but by the end of 2005, the Brothers of Destruction will be no more! He then begins to leave the arena, but Kane's signature stage pyro erupts, stopping him from leaving! Orton backs up the ramp, but he backs into Kane! Kane grabs him by the throat, and chokeslams Orton onto the concrete, before setting off his ring pyro, smiling sinisterly as he does, SmackDown! going to a break.
> Commercial Break < SmackDown! returns, with the same video package as last week hyping the debut of the 'Hard Hitting, Soft Spoken' Lashley. There is still no date for his debut!
Heidenreich def. Jamie Noble - Heidenreich gained some momentum in this one here, destroying Jamie Noble in a very one sided match up. Heidenreich used the spinning side slam he used to take out the legendary Road Warrior Animal to put Jamie Noble for the three count.
Heidenreich headed to the outside of the ring, grabbing the stairs and bringing them into the ring, before grabbing Noble, and nailing another Spinning Side Slam on the stairs this time, Noble writhing in pain after he was slammed. Heidenreich then went backstage, as the commentators noted Mr. Kennedy would be in action against a returning superstar next!
> Commercial Break < Mr. Kennedy def. Shannon Moore - Shannon Moore made a return to the WWE only a few months after being released from his contract here in this match. He gave a good fight, looking like he hadn't missed a beat since being released, but it wasn't enough as Kennedy continued his undefeated run by hitting Moore with a Green Bay Plunge from the top rope for the win!
Kennedy celebrated the win, announcing himself as the victor as he does, but didn't leave the ring afterwards. He said that he was sick and tired of easy competition, and demands a better opponent next week! Cole and Tazz hyped the main event tag team match would be coming up after the break!
> Commercial Break < World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero and United States Champion JBL (w/ The Cabinet) vs. Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit is a draw. - A solid way to close out this edition of SmackDown!, as these four heated rivals all clashed in a great main event! JBL's Cabinet attempted to help him and Guerrero take the win early on, but ended up being ejected from ringside by Nick Patrick. The match was then very back and forth, and spanned over two parts with a commercial break in the middle, but the end came when Benoit and Mysterio performed a dual suicide dive and plancha on JBL and Guerrero respectively, with a brawl breaking out on the outside, with no man making it back in before the ten count, and the match ending in a draw!
The brawl continues, all four men glad to get thier hands on thier rival outside the rules of the ring! The SmackDown! referees pour out into the arena, breaking the four men up, SmackDown! ending with the picture of the four men being held apart by the referees, Michael Cole wondering what will happen next week between these rivals!
