- Odd, but very intriguing to have the masked men win the gold. Very curious as to who they are. - Shelton picking up the win was the obvious call. However, I am glad you are reverting him back to Chavo. - Kurt and Brent is still something that would be epic. A better call to have Kurt win well Brent doesn't look weak. - Carlito defeating Shawn is huge for him, so something definitely should be in store for his future. - Matt Hardy beating Edge is great, he needed it. Hope to see him stay strong and not drop down. - Victoria winning is good, as she is the more dominant and experienced, plus the anti-Diva is always good. - John Cena defeating The Big Show was kind of obvious, but by submission wasn't, that's nice.
A very good pay-per-view.

WWE Unforgiven: Sunday 26th September 2005...Not too fond of the World Tag Team Championships opening up the show, as it's not too important a match and a weak opening contest in my opinion. The Masked Men winning is fine, but would be confusing when it actually comes down to it, either way it beats The Hurricane and Rosey. I am intrigued about who the Masked Men are though. Kerwin White is a gimmick I hope won't last significently long. Best decision to see Shelton Benjamin with the win anyway, pretty enjoyable match but in the filler spot on the card? That's the spot I would have saved for the divas. Hmm, good that Chavo Guerrero is now himself again but that was a dumb segment. You should have simply taken him off of television and repackaged him back into Chavo. Dumb that he decided to be caucasion for a month, lost in his first feud as a caucasion and then turned back. Good predictable win for Kurt Angle. This is the thing; great opportunity for Brent Albright but too rushed. And now after this feud he's going to slowly get lost in the scenary. Carlito would have received plenty of momentum feuding with Shawn Michaels and so I am glad. Would have preferred Carlito winning dirty though so HBK and his feud would have continued. That's a thought, wondering if you have RAW Homecoming: hopefully you do. As likely, good steel cage vicious win for Matt Hardy against Edge, wouldn't surprise me to see the ladder loser leaves RAW match in a week though with these two. Victoria and Ashley's match in my eyes meant nothing and should have gone on second in the filler spot. Your writeups are far too detailed for a B-pay-per-view like Unforgiven. Lastly, good main event win for John Cena against Big Show that would have made him look like a million bucks. However, the original plans for the show would have been better: Cena and Angle main eventing would have done much better business. Although, a good show but too much detail will make for a quicker lack of enthusiasm.

-Unforgiven. -Masked Men winning the titles is a bit of a weird choice, and not that good imo, can't wait to see who they are though. -Great to see Shelton win, and to see Chavo admit it's him. Please push Chavo.Bulid him and give him that mighty fine IC title. -Great to see Angle win, is Albright being pushed? -Loved you put in the video package. -Great to see Matt win in a brutal match, with a perfectly great ending for a cage match. -Cena winning was good, but a bit weird seeing Show tap out. I have a feeling Show isn't done with Cena yet. -Great job.
-Whoops, skipped over Carlito beating Michaels. Huge shocker, and looks like Carlito is on to big things.

September 26th, 2005. | Waco, TX. A video package airs, hyping the events of Unforgiven the night before. It highlights all the results from last night's PPV, starting with the first match, the World Tag Team Championship contest all the way down to the WWE Championship main event. After the video finishes, the usual plays, and RAW comes on air. The theme of the WWE Champion John Cena plays as RAW begins, with the WWE Champion making his way out to a good reaction, more cheers than he has been getting in the recent months. He no longer has the hoodie he was donning, possibly signalling the end of the angrier Cena. When Cena is in the ring, he grabs a microphone, and waits for the crowd to calm down. When they do, he proclaims "The Champ is Here!" to cheers from the crowd, and raises his WWE Championship up. He says last night, he had a big problem, when the Big Show wouldn't stay down. He kept his cool though, and thought on his feet, deciding that a good old fashion submission was the best solution. He said that he's always been more of a brawler, and a fighter, rather than a technically sound submission specialist kind of guy, but last night he saw why it works so well, because he, John Cena, slayed Goliath, when he made the giant submit to his STF! He said come Survivor Series, he will be ready for whoever his next challenger is, but at this point, he is interrupted by Eric Bischoff, RAW's General Manager. He makes his way out to the stage, and begins to speak. He says that last night has made tonight very hard for him. Not only is he without two of his best in Edge and Matt Hardy because of some stupid idea Matt got in his head to jump off a cage, but thanks to Cena choking him out, he's also without The Big Show. He says he's sick and tired of Cena being WWE Champion, but more so, John Cena being on RAW. He said by the end of tonight, Eric Bischoff WILL have come up with a solution to solve this once and for all, so he invites Cena to join him in the ring at the end of the night. Cena says he'll see Bischoff later tonight, as RAW goes to a commercial break. COMMERCIAL BREAKBrent Albright def. Rob Conway:Conway asked for this match in a WWE.Com exclusive segment, where he said the 'ConMan' never loses, and him losing is a huge con in itself, calling Albright a fluke. Looks like Conway was wrong, as the rising star on RAW Brent Albright made quick work of him once again, finishing the match with the Crowbar after using several suplex variations to wear Conway down. After the match, Albright said last night, he knows he earned the respect of Kurt Angle, and next week on the WWE Homecoming, he challenges him to a match, but not just any match, a submission match! Albright's theme plays, as the camera's go backstage. Backstage Eric Bischoff is sat at his desk, doing some paperwork, when Carlito walks in. He asks if Eric Bischoff saw him beat Shawn Michaels last night at Unforgiven. Bischoff said that he wasn't in the mood for Carlito's gloating tonight, and asked him to leave the room. Carlito said that Bischoff wasn't being 'cool' tonight, which enraged Bischoff. In a fit of rage, he said that he doesn't care about being cool, and tells Carlito something even 'uncooler' than himself, tonight he's defending the Intercontinental Championship against Shelton Benjamin! Carlito is outraged, as a commercial break coms in. COMMERCIAL BREAKKurt Angle def. Ric Flair:A solid contest here between two of the wrestling world's best performers. Angle targeted the knee and ankle of Flair throughout this one, and Flair responded in kind to Angle, with both men trying to build towards thier submission finishing moves. In the end, Angle managed to get the win, after sending Flair crashing off the turnbuckle as is normal for him, and locking in the Ankle Lock to beat Flair via submission. Following this, Angle grabbed a microphone, and said if Albright wants to tap out just like Flair did again, then he can feel free too, as he accepts the challenge for the Submission match next week! The camera then goes backstage, and is seen directed at the manager of the World Tag Team Champions, Brian Black. Black says tonight, the two men stood next to him, The Masked Men, will reveal who they are under the masks, and there will be nothing nobody can do to stop them from reigning supreme over RAW! COMMERCIAL BREAKThe theme of the Masked Men plays, and Brian Black leads out the newly crowned World Tag Team Champions, the Masked Men. He leads them into the ring, before climbing in himself, grabbing a microphone, and speaking. He says last night, at Unforgiven, these men did what they had promised to do, defeat The Hurricane and Rosey for the World Tag Team Championships. Tonight, they both unmask, and you will all see the face's of the only men worthy to hold the World Tag Team Championships. He then asks that the lights be lowered the lights, so everybody is focused on RAW's most important superstars. The crowd is focused on the men, not sure who to see under the masks. The men both slowly move thier hands above thier heads, grabbing the tops of thier masks. They then pull the masks off, revealing themselves to be Khosrow Daivari and Muhammad Hassan! The crowd erupts in boo's, just showering the two with nothing but boo's. Even JR and King on commentary note that these were the last two people they ever wanted back on RAW, especially Hassan. The two are still being showered with boo's, as Brian Black demands everyone shut up and let Hassan speak, before Daivari repeats the instruction in Persian. The crowd still boo's him, as Hassan begins to speak, saying that he is not a terrorist, and he did not deserve to be removed from Smackdown. All he did was orchestrate an attack on The Undertaker, like that of Evolution through all of 2003, and JBL's Cabinet in 2004. But because he had men in masks do it, and he is an Arabian American, he is persecuted unjustly by UPN, and told he can't return to television. He tells everyone that on RAW's network that they are moving to, the USA network, he'll be treated with the respect he deserves, and not be forced to suffer the indignites he has so far, because he is an American just like everyone else, and all he wants to do his fufill his American dream, and become the World Champion. He knew that he couldn't do it without his methods he's used, as Eric Bischoff would never sign him for fear of ratings dropping. But now he is forced to, as Muhammad Hassan is a champion, and champions automatically given a contract, as well as exempt from being fired, as Bischoff knows so well. He then finishes by saying that Muhammad Hassan is back, and he is the future of the WWE! COMMERCIAL BREAKThe theme of Womens Champion Trish Stratus plays, as the recently returned Trish made her way out towards the ring to a fantastic reaction. She climbs in the ring, and grabs a microphone, saying she's sorry to dissapoint, but she's not here to wrestle tonight. Instead, she says she wants to say a few things. First, how good it is to be back on RAW! The crowd pops in agreeance to this, as Trish goes on. She says secondly, she came back because of one diva in particular - Victoria. She says she had enough of Victoria's rants about divas being a bad thing. She says that Trish Stratus is the epitomy of a diva, and a good wrestler to boot, and she never has, and never will, be posing for Playboy, which gets some boo's from the male audience member. She says that Victoria must have forgotten about all the times Trish Stratus has proved herself to be WWE's ultimate diva, and how she did it without winning competitions, or posing for photoshoots. She warns Victoria that if she keeps shooting her mouth off, she'll suffer some concequenses that she wouldn't want. At this, Victoria makes her way out into the arena. She says that last night at Unforgiven, she was a little bit surprised to see Trish back, but she was glad she came back. Because now, she can get her hands on the Womens Champion, the apparent best of the best, and beat her and take the Championship, because to her, Trish is just another diva, another useless woman with more make up than talent. She says make up hides the physical imperfections, but there isn't any make up to hide who you are, and Trish is just a waste of space. At this, Trish retaliates, punching Victoria in the face, before lining her up for a kick to the head, but Victoria got out of the ring. Trish's theme played, as another commercial began. COMMERCIAL BREAKShawn Michaels def. Chavo Guerrero:A high quality contest here between two great wrestlers. Chavo looked dis-gruntled to be out there in the ring, but recieved a better reaction from the crowd than he has in a long time on his way out, possibly because he isn't playing the Kerwin White character anymore. The match itself was very fun, and quite slow paced considering the performers, with Chavo targeting Michaels' back. The finish came when Chavo went for the Gory Bomb, but Michaels slipped out once over Chavo's head and nailed Sweet Chin Music to collect the win. Following the match, Shelton Benjamin was seen been interviewed by Maria. Maria asks him how he feels to be in the Intercontinental Championship match up next, RAW's main event for this evening. Shelton says he feels good to be getting a chance at the gold again, and will be going home with it tonight! He then walks away, as a promo for the 'WWE Homecoming' plays, reminding us its next week, followed by commercials. COMMERCIAL BREAKIntercontinental ChampionshipCarlito (c) def. Shelton Benjamin:Fantastic main event between two surefire choices for future World Champions. Carlito was determined to keep his winning ways going, as was Shelton, as the two battled in a very athletic match, a very fast pace as opposed to that of the previous match. The close to the contest came when Shelton tried the Dragon Whip during a comeback and he was being spun around Carlito nailed him with the double knee backbreaker seen the previous night against Shawn Michaels, with the it being given the name 'Backcracker'. Carlito pinned Shelton after to gain the victory and retain his Intercontinental Championship. Carlito celebrated in the ring, as the Smackdown LoDown began. It highlighted the attack of Rey Mysterio by Batista, in revenge for the 619 Rey gave him the week before, and Eddie Guerrero beating his friend Chris Benoit, and not going back to save him from a beatdown at the hands of JBL. The final commercial break of the night began, as commentators reminded us that after the break, Eric Bischoff would announce what he had planned at Survivor Series for himself and John Cena. COMMERCIAL BREAKRAW returns with Eric Bischoff's theme just fading out as Eric Bischoff stands in the ring. He says that tonight, he announces what great scheme he has cooked up to get rid of John Cena. He then invites Cena out to the ring, and Cena makes his way out to a good reception. Bischoff says that he doesn't want any physical confrontation with Cena, so he hired some security. At this, several security guards make thier way out, standing in the ring at the side, so Bischoff and Cena can talk. Bischoff says that he understands what Cena is doing, being different, trying to stand out from the crowd, but he just wants to do his job without the trouble of some young punk bothering him, and his superstars. He says that he's been thinking, and thinking, since Cena beat Show last night at Unforgiven. He says that Cena will be happy to know that he won't have to defend his WWE Championship at Survivor Series, but instead, he'll have to do something more difficult. He says that at Survivor Series, there's going to be a four on four, traditional Survivor Series tag team match. He is going to pick his four men, and so is John Cena. And the twist? If he, Eric Bischoff, has the winning team, then John Cena must run a gauntlet. If he fails to beat anyman on the gauntlet, there will be a severe consequence. Cena nods, saying that sounds fine to him, but he wants a stipulation of his own. If Eric Bischoff should lose, he will hand in his resignation as the General Manager of RAW! The crowd pops at this idea, as confidently, Bischoff accepts Cena's terms, saying that he knows there is NO way he is going to lose this match. He then tells the security that its okay for them to leave now, and they trudge out of the ring. Once the security have left, Bischoff follows. Cena says that he'll name his first team-mate next week. Bischoff says thats great, but he's gonna name his first team member now, and its someone Cena knows very well. He then suggests Cena turn around and find out. Cena turns, and a huge hand grasps him by the throat, before the hand is revealed to belong to The Big Show, who wasn't injured after all! Show nails Cena with a chokeslam, as Bischoff claps, the site of Show standing tall over Cena the last one for this week's RAW. WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT 2005 ©

WWE RAW: Monday 25th September 2005...Not big on the black font for red Monday Night RAW. Good opening promo with John Cena in the ring mentioning his WWE Championship defense against Big Show, looking forward to what Eric Bischoff has in store for the WWE Champion though. Brent Albright now needs to remain relevent. Good win against Rob Conway, but hoping that Conway is able to hold up his decent gimmicky. I am not too fond of how you blank out Heat and Velocity, by the way. It would help you a little. I do like your WWE.com exclusive segment mention, though I do wish you mentioned it. You could do so much more with the diary if you included some more color, less basic layout design, had some more news reels, included the WWE.com exclusives, Power 25 and much more. Kurt Angle beating Ric Flair is a solid opening hour main event, predicted that Angle would defeat Flair though. Khosrow Daivari and Muhammad Hassan eh? Good decision, but there's no point in Brian Black when Daivari and Hassan can now talk. Also don't forget that the World Tag Team Champions must never trail on UPN. Trish Stratus' promo after the World Tag Team Champions' promo; overkill maybe. Good mention on Victoria though, the next feud revealed now for the WWE Womens Champion. Where was she for Unforgiven though? Hoping Mickie James arrives soon. Shawn Michaels beating Chavo Guerrero is fine, but more burial work for Chavo. Carlito beating Shelton Benjamin is fine, they always had good matches and this was a solid main event in the ring WWE Intercontinental Championship defense. Good idea for Survivor Series - in two months. You still have RAW Homecoming next week (which WWE focused on booking storylines to end more into RAW Homecoming than anything else), not to mention Taboo Tuesday (which realistically should remain). Not a fan of the decision to build up Survivor Series already, let alone reveal the theme song as well. Too far ahead. A decent show though, just nothing booked for RAW Homecoming and in real life there was a full card prepared by now.

- Good opening promo. Wonder what will come of all this. - Angle vs Flair? That's pretty insane. But glad Angle won. - Hassan and Daivari! Eff yeah! Loved these guys, glad they are back. - Not that fond of two promos in a row, but it seems like a Victoria/Trish feud is in store. - Basic win for Michaels against Chavo. Not sure what he'll be doing next. - Carlito defeating Benjamin is good, they have some solid chemistry in the ring as well. - Sounds awesome at Survivor Series - but like Dan pointed out, what about Cyber Sunday?
A good show overall.

Like the opening and the tension between Bischoff and Cena. Im looking for to Bischoffs solution. Really glad to see Brent Albright pick p the win against Conway. Like the mention of the exclusive WWE.com segment. Submission match versus Angle sounds awesome. Good segment with Bischoff and Carlito. Hopefully Carlito retains later to keep up his momentum. Glad to see Angle pick up the win over Flair and build momentum for a submissiom match next week versus Albright. Hassan and Daivari? Wow, love it. Glad to see Trish back and like that shes jumping into a feud with Victoria. They could put on some good matches together. Glad HBK got a win to rebound from the loss to Carlito last night. Glad Carlito won as well, for reasons I mentioned earlier. Love the idea of Team Cena vs. Team Bischoff. Interesting Gauntlet stipulation as well, very creative. Good show, looking forward to Survivor Series already.

September 29th, 2005. | Laredo, TX.QUICK RESULTS:- JBL opened the show, saying he doesn't have to play by anyone's rules. He says he's the Wrestling God, and this Sunday at No Mercy, he'll prove it by beating Chris Benoit for the United States Championship. Teddy Long interrupted at this point, and said while JBL's assault the previous week has left Benoit without medical clearence to compete until No Mercy. However, JBL can, and will, compete tonight, teaming with his former rival Eddie Guerrero to battle Batista, and Rey Mysterio! - MNM defeated Two Locals. After the match, they cut a promo saying this was the fate of Akio & Funaki come Sunday. - Booker T, Christian, and Kazarian defeated The Mexicools. Nunzio was on commentary, and after the match mixed it up with Kazarian in the ring, having instructed Vito to go backstage. This was the first hour main event, and had a commercial break in the middle. - England's Elite defeated Brian Kendrick and Paul London in a fantastic match up. The Legion of Doom were on commentary for this one, and afterwards, it seemed like a fight was going to break out, but the Number One Contenders Burchill and Regal walked away, saying they'll fight on Sunday. - Randy Orton cut a promo on his match with The Undertaker, saying that at No Mercy he will kill both the legend of The Undertaker and the being of The Undertaker. The crowd was very confused at the second bit, and Orton got some heavy heat here. Eddie Guerrero & JBL def. Batista & Rey Mysterio in a tension filled main event that spanned two parts. Both teams really disliked each other, and found it hard to work together, but the animosity that once was between JBL and Eddie seemed to fizzle out a bit as the match went on, both wanting to win more than anything else. After Batista nailed Mysterio with a clothesline, and left him on his own, JBL and Eddie took the win after Eddie nailed a Frog Splash for the win. - Following the match, Batista raised up his title, and said he wasn't losing it, before walking backstage. Meanwhile, in the ring, JBL and Eddie decided to attack Rey to try and send a message. The attack failed however, when Chris Benoit came through the crowd, chair in hand, to make the save. The image of Benoit tending to Rey while staring a hole through JBL was the one that closed this week's Smackdown, as No Mercy was just three days away. October 2nd, 2005 - Houston, TX.The show opened with a video package, highlighting all the feuds that had took place as the Smackdown brand built towards this, the 2005 edition of No Mercy. Once the video package finished, the pay per view began with a fireworks display, as 'Lights Out' by POD played through the arena, the crowd popping as the lights come on in the arena. Michael Cole welcomes the fans to No Mercy, saying there is four huge championships matches, as well a casket match! Once he, and Tazz, finished introducing the show, MNM's theme played and the former WWE Tag Team Champions made thier way out. 1) Akio & Funaki vs. MNM - A solid opening bout for No Mercy, though the crowd wasn't really feeling it in the beginning. MNM had a new found fire in this one, taking it to the newly formed pair of Akio & Funaki. Mercury and Nitro worked like a well oiled machine, and the match was very much them in control, and this managed to bring the crowd into the event a little. MNM used swift tags, and lots of strikes, keeping Akio in thier corner, the crowd and Funaki desperate for him to make a tag. Eventually, after around eight or nine minutes of being trapped in the cycle, Akio made the tag to Funaki, the crowd popping. Funaki came out of the corner, exploding with a fury not seen since his Cruiserweight Championship reign earlier in the year. Funaki knocked Nitro off the ropes, and took it to Mercury, and with the contest coming to a close, signalled for the Rising Sun. However, Nitro came in the ring, and knocked down Funaki, leaving him laid out in the ring. Akio then rushed into the ring, dropkicking him down, Nitro rolling out. Akio then nailed a plancha over the top rope onto him. With Funaki and Mercury in the ring, and the latter in control, Mercury set up Funaki on the top rope for a Frankensteiner. As Funaki was on the top rope, and Mercury was climbing up towards him, Funaki grabbed Mercury's head, and jumped off the top rope, nailing the Rising Sun DDT! Funaki then covered, collecting the win for himself and Akio! Winners - Akio & Funaki |

The two celebrated with thier mystery female dojo master, who bowed to them as they did to her. She then removed her mask, in a show of respect, revealing herself to be Gail Kim! The crowd popped for her return, as the camera went backstage. Josh Matthews is seen in the interview area, with Booker T and Christian, as well as Booker's wife Sharmell. Matthews asked Christian how he felt about the odds they were up against in tonight's handicap match against the Mexicools. Christian said many times he has been up against odds in his career, but all of the times he's come out the winner, and tonight's match, he and the 'Book-Man' will be the victors, and there is no doubting that. Booker finishes the interview, saying 'Now can you dig that, Sucka's?!' The camera then returns to the arena, the next match getting underway. 2) Cruiserweight Championship: Nunzio (c) vs. Kazarian - A solid second contest here, and the crowd was really into this one. Kazarian has managed to gain a lot of support in the month or so he has been around, and he's also shown that he is a solid performer in the ring. Him and Nunzio had a solid contest, a contest which lasted around nine minutes, and had a fast pace for the majority of the match. Though Nunzio had the disadvantage of being lighter, and shorter by significant margins, he had Vito in his corner on the outside, and he interfered at all points possible, nailing Kazarian with big boots, and throwing him into the barricades, and ring posts. Eventually, Vito was caught in the act, and thrown out of the ringside area by the referee, despite Nunzio protesting he had done nothing wrong. From here on in, the match was much fairer, and Kazarian and Nunzio put on an impressive display, with lots of counters and strike trading. The finish to the contest came as Kazarian was in control, and managed to force him back into the corner with an Irish Whip and a Jumping High Kick, before placing Nunzio on the top rope. He then began to set up for the Flux Capacitor, but Nunzio pushed him off, and jumped, nailing the Sicillian Slice for the win. Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion - Nunzio |

Nunzio celebrated his huge victory, but as he did, a man climbed into the ring with a Steel Chair in his hands. He nailed the Cruiserweight Champion with a huge Chair shot, before lifting him back to his feet, and nailing him with a huge Brainbuster. The man then had the camera pan in on his face, and Tazz noted that it was Kid Kash, the former ECW World Television Champion! Kash left the ring, as the camera went onto the commentators. They hyped that after one fantastic title match, its time for another, as up next, the WWE Tag Team Championships will be defended, as the Legion of Doom defends the titles against the newly formed team of 'England's Elite' - William Regal, and Paul Burchill. The commentators stopped speaking as a video package hyping the feud played. 3) WWE Tag Team Championships: The Legion of Doom (c) vs. England's Elite - A decent contest at best here, as two talented ring workers in Burchill and Regal were stuck to work with the past his best Animal, and the hoss like Heidenreich. The Legion of Doom have been attacked for several weeks now without really getting a chance to get the upper hand, but tonight was different, with the Englishmen having to fight the Legend and the rising star. The two were on fire in the early going, but as the match progressed, the advantage they had fizzled out, and the newly formed tandem of Burchill and Regal began to take the advantage. They isolated Animal in the ring, trapping him with restholds and strikes, however, the crowd was willing the Legendary Tag Team Star back into the match, chanting 'LOD, LOD' and this proved to be enough to bring Animal back into it, as he nailed elbows to the ribs of Paul Burchill, before charging at the ropes, and nailing a huge big boot on the apprentice of Regal. Both men collapse to the mat, and crawl towards thier partners, both managing to reach them, Heidenreich flying into the ring with serious fire. He took out Regal with a huge clothesline, before turning his attention to Burchill doing the same to him. He then lifted up Regal, and nailed a Spinning Side Slam on him, before going into his corner, where Animal tagged himself in, slapping Heidenreich on the back. He then came in, and lifted Regal onto his shoulders. Heidenreich climbed the ropes, the two setting up for the Doomsday Device, but Burchill pushes Heidenreich from the top, distracting Animal. Regal slips off his shoulders, kneeing him in the ribs, before nailing the huge Knee Trembler and covering the legend, taking the win! Winners and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions - England's Elite |

Burchill and Regal are handed the WWE Tag Team Championships, marking both men's first reign with the Championship. They raised up the championships, holding them up for the crowd to see, hugging each other as they do. They leave the ring, still clutching the belts, as they leave the arena. In the ring, Animal is getting to his feet, holding his head following the big knee of Regal. He heads over to Heidenreich, who is looking quite angry, and taps him on the shoulder, apologising. However, Heidenreich doesn't look to impressed, and looks down to the ground, before nailing Animal with a huge clothesline! The crowd boo's, before Heidenreich lifts Animal to his feet, and nails him with a huge Spinning Side Slam! He then wipes his facepaint off, and walks away from the ring, the crowd booing as he does. Backstage, Teddy Long is seen talking to Eric Bischoff, as the camera panned in on him. He then turns to the camera, and announces that he and Eric Bischoff together have come up with a fantastic idea for tomorrow night's WWE Homecoming, as the winner of tonight's World Heavyweight Championship match will take on the man not involved in the fall in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship! The crowd pops, as the camera returns to the ring, the next match set to start. 4) Booker T & Christian vs. The Mexicools - Before the bell rings to start the match, Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long makes his way out to the stage. He says that due to the requests of both teams, this match will now run under tornado tag rules! The two teams then make thier way out, and the match begins. The match begins, and has a fast pace throughout, with the Mexicools being the slightly quicker team due to them being natural highflyers as opposed to Christian and Booker, who's styles aren't as active in the air as thier opponents. There was a lot of double team action in this one, with Booker and Christian exploiting thier tag team background, and using that tag team timing to thier advantage. The Mexicools, had the advantage of an extra man, and they definitely used it, throwing one man out of the ring, and keeping him out there, while the other two attacked the man who remained inside the ring. After using this strategy for around 6 or so minutes, it failed, when Christian was able to escape, and nail a springboard plancha on the three luchadors on the outside of the ring, giving back the advantage to himself and Booker. The five men all battled in the ring, the match becoming a fast paced brawl, the referee losing control slightly. As the contest came to a close, Psiscosis grabbed the tag team rope and choked Booker with it, causing Sharmell to rush over and pull him off the apron, distracting the referee. While his back was turned, Super Crazy grabbed a mop, and cracked Christian over the head with it, causing him to stumble back into a roll up from Juventud, and with Booker recovering from the choking on the outside with Sharmell, the roll up proved to be enough to give the Mexicools the three count, and end the match Winners - The Mexicools |

The Mexicools quickly escape from the ringside area, having cheated to take this victory. Sharmell throws thier gardening equipment at them as they do, and Booker T helps Christian to his feet. Booker says its alright to Christian, the two hugging as the camera pans in Michael Cole and Tazz. They hype up the next encounter, saying that this encounter has been building for over 6 months, and it ends tonight, when Randy Orton 'The Legend Killer' takes on 'The Phenom' The Undertaker in a casket match! A video package then plays, hyping the events of this feud, going all the way back to Wrestlemania, until tonight at No Mercy. 5) Casket Match: Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker - A very good contest here that the fans were itching to see, as they were curious as to whether Orton could back up his claims that he will kill the Legend of The Undertaker. However, it would seem that the idea of facing Undertaker in one of his trademark matches seemed to get the better of Orton, as Undertaker dominated this bout in the first five to ten minutes or so, Orton not getting much offense in at all. 'Taker took Orton to the outside, and went to give him Snake Eyes onto the barricade, but the 'Legend Killer' slipped off the shoulders of 'Taker, and pushed him into the barricade. As 'Taker rested, holding his ribs, on the barricade, Orton ran at 'Taker and knee'd him, working on the ribs. As 'Taker held his ribs, Orton nailed him with a dropkick, sending him crashing over the barricade into the crowd. Orton then climbed into the crowd, and beat Undertaker as he lay on the floor, punching him, and stomping on him. Orton then grabs a chair from the crowd, folds it up, and as 'Taker is getting to his feet, swings it into his face, sending 'Taker crashing over the barricade back onto the arena floor. Orton then set him up, legs hanging off the ring apron, ready for a DDT, but 'Taker pushed him away, and slid into the ring, pulling himself up with the ropes. Orton didn't give the 'Phenom' any time to recover, and slid into the ring, waiting for an RKO attempt, and as 'Taker turned around, he tried it, but was pushed away against the ropes, bouncing off them into the hand of Undertaker, who clasped his hand on his throat, before throwing him over the ropes onto the casket with a huge Chokeslam! Undertaker climbed out of the ring, and grabbed Orton by the head, pulling him up, before opening the casket. When he opened the casket, he pulled a face of disbelief, stumbling back a bit. Orton then dragged himself up on the other side of the casket, picking out what was inside, The Undertaker's Urn! Orton used it to control The Undertaker, moving around towards him before striking him on the head with it, sending him stumbling in towards the casket. Orton followed it up with another shot with the Urn, before lifting up his legs, and throwing Undertaker into the casket to take the shocking victory. Winner - Randy Orton |

Orton throws his body on top of the casket, holding the lid down. He then puts the Urn on top of it, and shouts at the casket, saying 'I've killed you, and your legend Undertaker!' He then goes under the ring, and grabs an axe, before swinging it towards the casket, making holes in it. He then goes under the ring, and grabs a packet of matches, and a can of petrol. He then proceeds to pour the petrol into the holes, and lights a match, throwing it on the Casket, smiling smugly as he does, posing by his 'handywork'. The crowd is shocked, as are the commentators, as they say they say they can't believe what they just witnessed, sending the camera backstage to the interview area. In the interview area, Josh Matthews is stood by with the WWE United States Champion, Chris Benoit. Benoit is holding his ribs, which are taped up, and on his left shoulder lays the WWE United States Championship. Matthews asks Benoit if he thinks he can retain his Championship despite the pain he is suffering in now. Benoit says the only thing thats ever stopped him is a broken neck, and these ribs being in pain doesn't even touch on that. He warns JBL that tonight, the only thing Benoit is going out there to do is make him tap! Benoit then walks away, the camera returning to the arena. 6) United States Championship: Chris Benoit (c) vs. JBL - A solid bout here between two time tested veterans, who's styles meshed really well to create a brawl with some great story telling in between. Benoit came into the match with more than his usual aggression, targeting JBL's left shoulder with several stiff chops, and boots when he was down, as well as delivering lots of heavy blows to the Texas born Millionaire's head. JBL however, responded in kind, with lots of rough knees to the ribs, wound up heavy shots there as well, and lots of stiff snap suplexes. Benoit was in a lot of pain, but was able to up his game once more, responding to the snap suplex with a trifecta of stiff and swift German Suplexes. JBL and Benoit were both feeling the effects of this rough and tumble contest, but neither was willing to give up, despite the punishment Benoit was recieving to his already injured ribs, and how relentless Benoit was being in his assault on JBL's shoulder. As the match began to come to its close, Benoit locked in his trademark submission, the Crossface, much to the joy of the crowd, who were gagging to see JBL tap out. JBL struggled around the ring, Benoit managing to drag him away from the ropes any time it looked like he was getting close, but soon JBL had a distraction that was to his advantage, as his former 'Chief of Staff' in the cabinet, Orlando Jordan walked down to ringside. The referee was distracted, telling him to leave, and Benoit was distracted as well, releasing his hold on JBL. As the referee argued with Jordan, JBL had grabbed a chair, and as Benoit turned around to continue his match with JBL, he had a chair rammed into his ribs, a chair which was quickly tossed aside as the referee turned around. JBL then nailed the Champion Benoit with a Powerbomb, a move which proved to be enough to end the match and give JBL the win, and his first United States Championship. Winner and NEW WWE United States Champion - JBL |

JBL is handed the United States Championship, smiling as he is given it. He shakes Jordan's hand and gives him a pat on the back, smiling as he does, leaving the ring with him. Benoit clutches his ribs, pulling himself up with the ropes, swearing revenge on JBL and Jordan. The camera then goes to the commentators for a final time tonight, as the two hype the huge main event set for tonight, as Batista is forced to defend his Championship against two men who wrestle very different style to him, and have a very different attitudes, as the dark and crafty Eddie Guerrero, and the bubbly, determined Rey Mysterio are the challengers tonight. The hype video for the main event contest for the World Heavyweight Championship plays, as following it, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero challenge Batista for the Championship! 7) World Heavyweight Championship: Batista (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - A solid way to close this Pay Per View, with a good contest where Batista proved he could keep up with some of the faster stars on the roster. In the early goings of the match, a very shaky alliance between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio managed to take out the largest man in the match up, the World Heavyweight Champion Batista. After this, for around four or so minutes, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio put on a fast paced battle, with Eddie getting the better of Rey. When Batista returned to the match, that fast pace continued, with Rey springboarding around, and bouncing off the ropes with his usual high octane offense. Guerrero's more technical offense that he has adopted during this most recent heel run came through as well, but there was some lucha spots during his battles with Rey within the match. The match continued with both men directing a brunt of the offense towards Batista, but the champion fired back, huge rights and lefts thundering at the two, and several powermoves such as Powerslams, Spinebusters, and Delayed Suplexes. After around 15 minutes of the three battling tooth and nail, the end of the contest came. Batista caught Mysterio with a boot to the mid-section as he was attempting a springboard crossbody, and pulled him into the powerbomb position. He lifted him, preparing to nail the Batista Bomb, but Mysterio managed to escape the position with a Hurricanrana that left Batista hung on the middle rope, in prime position for the 619. He ran at the ropes, bouncing off, before nailing Batista with the 619! The crowd exploded in cheers, as Rey climbed up the turnbuckle, about to nail a splash, but Eddie Guerrero popped up on the apron, pushing Rey off the top rope. Eddie then flew off the top rope, before nailing a Frog Splash on the Batista, landing on his chest hard. The referee made the count, the crowd shouting the numbers as his hand hit the mat, the referee and crowd reaching three, signalling the end of the match! Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion - Eddie Guerrero |

Eddie Guerrero is handed the Championship, and as he is, he does something he hasn't done in a while, smiles. He holds the Championship, and looks at it, before raising it up for all the crowd to see. Batista holds his left shoulder, wincing in pain as he does, and Rey Mysterio unstraps the bottom of his mask, holding his neck. Eddie points at the title, and says 'It's mine now Esé's!' before swinging it over his shoulder and leaving the ring. He backs up the ramp, taking the belt off his shoulder, and raising it up one last time, his grin etched on his face once more, and this is the final shot of the event, the camera fading out after. -No Mercy -Alright Shifty, glad to see you sticking to something! -Having really been following this as of late, so I can't say if the first match was a good or bad move. I'm guessing it was though, same MNM took a lost. -Good move to have Nunzio retain. Hopefully Kaz gains the title in a few months. -Kid Kash! Hopefully we see a triple threat between these three, that would be great. -Eh, really not sure about this next choice. Once again, I didn't even know L.O.D. were champs, oh wait, they won it at GAB, right? Okay, this was a good move having England's Elite get the titles, two under rated workers, without a doubt. -Wow, big match for homecoming, not sure if you've been doing the Smackdown vs. Raw feud, but if you haven't, can't wait for the match! -I'll be right back, I'll finish the reply when I do. -I'M BAAAAAAAAACK -Really don't like the Mexicools going over here. Just feels weak and like a bad move. At least it wasn't a clean finish -Good win for Orton here. Him using the Urn to control Taker is something I'm not sure about. Still, it works, and it makes this match pretty interesting. The ending is really basically a copy of what really happened, but I've done that many times. No biggie there. -Good to have JBL win after interference. Expecting a NO DQ type match up between them at Survivor Series. Can't wait. One thing is that I'm not too sure about putting this after Taker/Orton. It should be vice verse, imo. -And finally, a good main event with Eddie taking the belt! That's awesome! I think this is his birthday too, or at least around it. Rey Mysterio taking on Eddie on Raw should be a classic, no matter how many times they've faced, they always put on a great show. -Great PPV, I few things that weren't great, but it was a solid job.

-Akio and Funaki winning here is a slight shocker. -Nunzio over Kazarian is fine. Though I can see Kazarian winning the title sooner. -England's Elite taking the titles is great. Hope to see a solid reign. -Mexicools going over is a shocker too. Hoping to see a Christian/Booker feud possibly. -Great casket match there. It really got Orton over. Hoping to see him in the WHC picture now. -JBL winning the United States Championship is a nice match there. Wonder where Benoit goes now. -Very, very happy to see Eddie Guerrero have won the World Heavyweight Championship. Please keep him alive. -Good PPV; looking forward to where this goes now.

Batista suffered an injury during his World Heavyweight Championship match against Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio at No Mercy. Batista was taken to a local medical facility in Houston, where the injury was diagnosed as being a torn left pectoral muscle by WWE doctor, Ferdinand Rios.
Stay tuned to WWE.com as more information is made available.

WWE No Mercy: Sunday 2nd October 2005...A coding error in the first match; not fond of the layout, nor am I too fond of this combination with Akio and Funaki. It advances the characters of Akio and Funaki and gives the SmackDown! brand a cultural look, but MNM needed the win here. I feel as though MNM's image is damaged by losing to these two former jobbers. Especially with the clean win, especially with this opening a pay-per-view. Terrible usage of Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury in my mind. Would have been much better if Akio and Funaki had had an attempt at least; but beating them damaged MNM. Glad to see Nunzio retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Kazarian; I know Kazarian's been built up well, but I am loving this Nunzio character. Making him the cowardly opportunist is the best to do with this weakling Italian. Dislike Kid Kash's appearance though, was sort of random and these cliffhanger style situations should only ever happen on SmackDown!. Regal and Burchill and The Legion of Doom opening up would have been wiser. A decent bout, glad to see William Regal and Paul Burchill beat Heidenreich and Animal for the WWE Tag Team Championships. I dislike the team's name though, it sounds extremely cliché. I do love the way you are building The Mexicools, but remember that as cruiserweights they aren't expected too much, especially considering that they are only limited on the microphone due to being Mexican and also not being very charismatic. Shocking win against Booker T and Christian, I dislike the team Booker and Christian have: for one, both men don't need teams, secondly because they both need their solo runs now more than ever, and lastly; they feuded at Great American Bash not three months before. Slightly ridiculous if you think about it. Randy Orton and The Undertaker had a good Casket match, hopefully not finishing the feud and following what really went on with Orton setting 'Taker alight in the casket is awesome. JBL winning the WWE United States Championship could perhaps lead to good things; enjoyable occurance. Chris Benoit's had a few good reigns already, not too much else to achieve. Lastly, awesome win for Eddie Guerrero of the World Heavyweight Championship in an exceptionally unpredictable triple threat main event. A solid show, though the undercard's booking is quite mangled and nonsensical. I feel the ordering of the show could have been better too.

October 3, 2005. | Dallas, TX | Intro videoThe first edition of Monday Night RAW on the USA network in over five years, begins with a huge fireworks display, pyrotechnics exploding across the stage, as the voice of Monday Night RAW for nine years welcoming the fans to the show. Lawler cuts in, saying it feels good to be back home on the USA network, and tonight is going to be a big one, as we have a World Heavyweight Championship match between new Champion Eddie Guerrero, and the challenger, Rey Mysterio. The theme of the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon played, and he made his way out towards the ring. He climbs into the ring, and looks around, grabbing a microphone as he does. He says that tonight, he is delighted to announce that Monday Night RAW has come home! He says that tonight, two fantastic contests have already been announced, with a World Heavyweight Championship match set to take place, and a submission match between Kurt Angle and Brent Albright! He continues, saying that there is more to tonight than just that, as several legends of the WWE are in attendance tonight. He then points to one area of the front row, where Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Snuka, Ricky Steamboat, and Sgt. Slaughter are sat. He then says that there will be more appearances from Legends tonight, but you will just have to wait and see who! The Chairman of the WWE then leaves the ring, but the theme song of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin plays to rapturous applause! He makes his way down to the ring, doing his signature pose on each turnbuckle. He grabs a microphone, and says that through the different times he and Vince have been the best of friends, and the worst enemies. He says that tonight, these people have only come here to see one thing, Monday Night RAW! The crowd pops, and Vince smiles, but his smile leaves his face when Austin says that he is stopping them from doing that! At this point, Austin turns to Vince, throws up the middle finger, and nails Vince with a Stunner, the iconic glass smashing sound playing through the arena, as Austin poses as he leaves the ring, the first part of this broadcast ending. - COMMERCIAL BREAK -RAW returns with Edge backstage with Lita, holding her hands, and kissing her. Christian walks past with Booker T and Sharmell, but does a double take when he sees Edge with Lita. He looks at Booker, who says 'Tell me, I didn't just see that?!' as the crowd laughs, and the action returns to the ring. Shawn Michaels def. Ric Flair - A solid match to open tonight's show, with two legends and surefire Hall of Famer's competiting in this intense bout. The commentators noted how Michaels had appeared on the first RAW way back in 1993, as well as how he, and Flair, had been in a fair share of RAW's most memorable moments. The match itself was a quality one, with Michaels and Flair engaging in a chop war to the delight of the fans, as well as managing to mix up the pace, slow in the early going and getting faster as the match went on. The finish came when Flair went to the top, trying his infamous Crossbody, only to be nailed with Sweet Chin Music as he came down, giving Michaels the three count. |

Following the match up, Shawn Michaels celebrated, before helping Flair to his feet. The two shook hands and hugged, raising each others hands up. The WWE Champion John Cena then made his way out, with a microphone in his hand. He smiles, and says that he's just found his first two team-mates at Survivor Series. The three all smile as another break begins. - COMMERCIAL BREAK -Backstage, John Cena is seen walking down a corridor with his WWE Championship on his shoulder, and his new Survivor Series Team Mates, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. He runs into The Big Show, who stops them from passing, before speaking. He says that if Cena thinks he's assembled a good team for Survivor Series, he better think again, because by the end of tonight, the other three members of Team Bischoff will have been named, and they want to call out Cena's pathetic team at the end of the night. Cena smiles, saying when you have backup like Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, what's there to worry about? He then tells Show to make sure he is there, and also make sure that the greasy rat who runs RAW, Eric Bischoff, is as well, because both of them are going to feel the wrath of the John Cena tonight! The action then returns to the ring. Kurt Angle def. Brent Albright in a Submission Match - A solid second match given all the time it needed to tell a good story, and to be entertaining. Albright worked over Kurt Angle's arm whenever he could, as did Angle with Albright's ankle, both men obviously trying to make sure that thier signature hold would be effective when locked in. The two also managed to have a great wrestling match in between this, trading strong strikes, and lots of suplexes, especially ones of the the German variation. The crowd was firmly behind the rookie Brent Albright, who has began to shine on the big stage, but in the end it wasn't enough, as the veterna Olympic Gold Medalist Angle reversed an attempt at the Crowbar into an Angle Slam by pulling him in close, and nailing it, before locking in the Ankle Lock, with a grapevine to add pressure just like at Unforgiven, the hold proving too much, and leaving Albright no choice but to tap out. |
Following the match, Angle celebrates by standing on a chair, as the referee put the Gold Medal around his neck, before going to the top rope and celebrating there. Eric Bischoff then made his way out onto the ramp, applauding Angle, before saying that he just found his third team member. Angle smiles as another break begins. - COMMERCIAL BREAK -When RAW returns, John Cena walks over two the water cooler with Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, approaching Shelton Benjamin. He is about to speak, but Benjamin stops him, saying that if he wants him on Team Cena, he doesn't need to ask, because the chance to kick Eric Bischoff's ass is more than enough of a reason for him to want to ask Cena for a spot on his team. Cena smiles, and thanks Shelton, shaking his hand, the four walking off to look for the final member of thier team. In the ring, there is a picture of the Undertaker, and a black wreath, as well as an empty casket, with the commentators noting that last night The Undertaker was burnt inside a casket by Randy Orton. The theme of Randy Orton then plays, and looking very pleased with himself, he makes his way out to the ring, a microphone in hand, and dressed in a black shirt and trousers, with a black rose in his hands. He climbs into the ring, getting some good heat for what he did last night at No Mercy. He drops the rose onto the casket, before opening it, and smiling, and laughing. He says last night at No Mercy, The Undertaker's reign of darkness over the WWE finally ended, as last night, he finally felt what it was like to burn in the pits of hell, literally. The crowd boo's as Orton continues. He says that tonight, he is holding this memorial service, this funeral, for The Undertaker so that we can all forget about him, and forget about the 15 years wasted faering him. He says that The Undertaker's fear controlled the minds of all who faced him, but just like himself and everyone here, The Undertaker was not a supernatural force, he was just a man, and The Undertaker sure as hell burnt like one. He says that he will now close the casket, signifying the end of The Undertaker, and the end of his career. He slams the lid shut, and drops the microphone, and smiles at the camera. He then begins to walk away, but suddenly, the wreath catches fire in a small explosion, and Orton looks around startled. He then leaves the ring, scared and confused, but as he reaches the stage, flames also erupt there, and the theme song of Kane begins to play, the younger brother of destruction making his return after many months absence! Orton gets up and runs as fast as he can, first back to the ring, but Kane catches up, before jumping out and escaping through the crowd. Kane then sets off his signature turnbuckle pyro, before making a slit throat gesture with his index finger, Orton looking on in utter disbelief and fear, as the Big Red Monster smiled sinisterly, having once again returned, this time with a vengeance! - COMMERCIAL BREAK -Backstage, the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero is being interviewed by Todd Grisham. Grisham asks Guerrero how he feels about his World Heavyweight Championship defense against Rey Mysterio later on in the night, to which Guerrero responds in a much more positive way than he has acted in recent times, saying that he relishes the chance to face Rey again... and to kick his ass again, which gets him some heat. He warns Rey that tonight is going to end the same way last night did, with Eddie Guerrero as the World Heavyweight Champion! Edge (with Lita) def. Christian (with Booker T, and Sharmell) - A solid contest that was another throwback to the past of Monday Night RAW, with these two former best friends on opposite sides of the ring tonight, rather than tag teaming as the fans best remember them. It was a very good contest, with the time Edge and Christian spent together proving useful for both men, as they both managed to reverse most attempts at big moves the other tried. The match ran for around 10 minutes, at which it ended when Edge set up Christian for a Spear, and when Christian got to his feet, charged at him. Christian attempted to leap frog, but Edge took him down from the air, grounding his former tag team partner, and taking the victory. |
Edge celebrates the victory with Lita, making out with her, and clutching his Money in the Bank briefcase, while slowly backing up the ramp, slightly limping as he does though. Christian is helped to his feet by Booker and Sharmell as the camera goes backstage, where Eric Bischoff is knocking on the locker room door, where Carlito is sat tossing his apple up in the air, and admiring his Intercontinental Championship. Bischoff asks Carlito if he would like his first taste at Main Eventing a Pay Per View, by being on Team Bischoff at Survivor Series. Carlito looks at his apple, and bites a huge chunk, causing Bischoff to step back, but Carlito swallows the chunk, before saying "Carlito on Team Bischoff? Now, thats cool." before extending his hand to shake Bischoff's, as another commercial break comes in. - COMMERCIAL BREAK -In the on site medical room, Matt Hardy is talking with Dr. Fernando Rios. He asks him if he's allowed to compete once again following his injuries sustained 15 days ago at Unforgiven, to which Rios replies that he's good to go. A hand then grabs Hardy's shoulder, and the person is revealed to be John Cena, who says that in that case, it looks like he just found the fifth and final member of his team for Survivor Series. Hardy smiles, and says that he likes the sound of that, as the camera fades elsewhere backstage. In the office of Eric Bischoff, he is stood with the three men he has chosen so far to be his team mates when he faces Team Cena at Survivor Series. Angle speaks, saying that he is only counting four men, when in a Survivor Series match, there is five men needed. Bischoff tells him not to panic, saying that the fifth man is here tonight, he just has some business to attend to first. Reassured, Angle smiles, as do Carlito and The Big Show, as the night's main event begins. Eddie Guerrero [c] def. Rey Mysterio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship - A fantastic way to close out the wrestling matches for the evening, with two of the WWE's premier performers in Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero battling for the World Heavyweight Championship. It was a fantastic match, that was a mix of high flying action from both men, submissions from Guerrero, and some fantastic wrestling from both, the two countering each other, and nailing each other with some great moves. The crowd really wanted to see a great moment in RAW history with Mysterio winning his first World Championship in this fantastic back and forth match that spanned over two parts with a Commercial Break in the middle, but it just wasn't to be, as after distracting the referee with a chair which he was forced to remove from the ring, Eddie low-blowed Rey, and then Frog Splashed him, the move being enough to give Eddie the victory. |
Guerrero celebrated the victory, raising the World Championship up to a mixed reaction. As he did, the camera went backstage, where Ric Flair was seen in the parking lot, bloodied and battered, with his t-shirt soaked in blood, not moving. John Cena and his team finds Flair, and call for help, Cena distressed at the condition of one of his team-mates, as the commentators remind the viewer that after the break, Team Bischoff and Team Cena will confront for the first time! - COMMERCIAL BREAK -RAW returns with WWE Champion John Cena's theme playing the WWE Champion making his way out to the ring with his team, who are one man down because of Ric Flair's assault before the break. Cena says that he knows that Bischoff's team ambushed Flair and its only pissed him off even more, so they better get themselves out here right now. With that, Eric Bischoff's theme plays, and he and his team make thier way out to the stage. Bischoff, who is now dressed in karate gear, begins to speak, saying that he did plan the attack on Ric Flair, but he, and none of the men on the stage now carried it out. He says the man who carried it out is the man who will fill the final spot on his team, and with this, Triple H makes his way out to the stage, wielding his sledgehammer, and smiling, shouting abuse at the fans who give him a lot of heat. Bischoff then orders his team to attack Cena's so they charge down to the ring. The outnumbered Team Cena take the fight to Team Bischoff as soon as they hit the ring, but the odds quickly prove to be too much, Triple H laying out Shelton Benjamin with his sledgehammer, making the odds immediately 5 on 3. Team Bischoff beats Team Cena badly, but they don't give in, battling vailiantly, refusing to give in. Hardy is next to fall to a Sledgehammer shot, leaving Michaels and Cena to battle against the odds. They manage to get the sledgehammer from Triple H, but when they try to use it, Big Show snaps it. The situation looks dire, as the five man strong Team Bischoff close in on Team Cena, however, the theme of an icon plays to raptuorous cheers from the fans, as Hulk Hogan makes his way down the ramp as "Real American" plays. Team Bischoff are shocked, and the time they spent turned around looking at Hogan costs them two men, as Cena tosses Carlito out, and Michaels nails Angle with Sweet Chin Music. Hogan climbs into the ring, the odds now even, as Team Bischoff makes a hasty getaway. Hogan stares down his recent rival Shawn Michaels, but the two quickly remember the handshake post match at Summerslam, and stand side by side with Cena, who challenges Team Bischoff to come back now. As Team Bischoff leaves the arena in shock, and slight despair, all of Cena's men are now on thier feet, as the commentators say that Survivor Series as a helluva main event in store, and thank the fans for watching WWE Homecoming, as the night ends. -I enjoyed the opener with some of RAW's best contributors. Austin giving Flair a Stunner is classic. -Shawn Michaels over Ric Flair is a great way to start things off. -Albright has been getting beat by Angle alot, but it should help his career. -Good promo there for Randy and Kane/Undertaker. It should be some hype for another match coming for them. -Edge over Christian is a pretty nice matchup here, some stuff that could look like it'd be on SD but still nice here. -A SmackDown match closing the main event is something. But Guerrero winning was the right call. -I like that Team Cena stood tall to close the show, should be some hype for the match. -Great Homecoming; glad to see this back.
