WWF @ San Jose, CA - Arena - March 21, 1999 We're joined at the top of the show by Michael Cole and Shane McMahon, who hype up the fact we're just one week away from WrestleMania XV, the four-hour mega event of the year! They mention how in our main event tonight we will see one half of the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection, Mankind, take on Corporate Team member "Double J" Jeff Jarrett! Shane promise Jeff is going to take Mankind out tonight, just like he did to Ken Shamrock on RAW is WAR! Michael Cole also announces they will have an update on the Stone Cold-Undertaker situation, which escalated after Stone Cold kidnapped the WWF Champion at the end of RAW on Monday!
The Dudley Boyz def. Joey Abs and Pete Gas(w/Rodney): For the first time ever, two members of the Mean Street Posse competed in action tonight. Abs stood out for his tag team partner, doing most of the ring work, but the Dudley Boyz were hell-bent on revenge tonight. After fighting off interference from both Abs and Rodney, the former tag champs finished Gas off with the Dudley Death Drop.
The fans popped as the Dudley Boyz were announced as the winners. They weren't through, however, as D-Von hopped out to the floor. He searched under the ring for a bit, finally pulling out two tables! The crowd popped again as he slid it into the ring, Shane freaking out on commentary. As Bubba headed to the top rope, D-Von placed Gas and Rodney onto one table each. Bubba pandered to the crowd, and D-Von grabbed Abs before handing him over to his brother. Bubba wasted no time in hitting the powerbomb off the top, putting all the Posse members through a table! The San Jose crowd has gone wild, the Dudleyz standing tall in the ring after finally getting some revenge! Shane promises he'll get them back, what does he have planned?
Break
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with Mankind, asking for his thoughts on his match with Jeff Jarrett tonight, and the tag team championship match next week at WrestleMania XV. Manind says tonight Jarrett was supposed to be a warm up to make sure he was in the sickest frame of mind possible for the Acolytes next week, but he's always sick, twisted, and ready to kick some ass! He says he's been waiting to hurt the Acolytes ever since they screwed him out of the WWF Championship, and warns the squeamish not to tune into WrestleMania when he finally gets his hands on them! Before capping off the interview, Mankind reveals that Mr. Socko brought up a valid point earlier today; they need to make sure the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection is ready to go as a unit for next Sunday, so he's got a plan to make sure of it! Have a nice day! Mankind walks off the set, leaving everyone to wonder what he has in store for his tag team partner this Monday on RAW.
Scorpio vs. Rey Mysterio ends in a No Contest: The Light Heavyweights got about five minutes to work here, and the two put on an exciting bout for the crowd. Mysterio looked like he was poised to get the win, but Too Much ran out, Christopher knocking Mysterio off the top with his title!
The fans boo as Too Much continues their assault, eventually dumping the two faces out of the ring. Christopher takes the microphone, saying first they couldn't get time on RAW is WAR, but now they can't even get time on Sunday Night HeAT? He reminds everyone how he is the longest reigning current champion in the WWF, yet people like the Rock, Val Venis, Stone Cold, and even Rey Mysterio get TV time over them! Scott takes the microphone, telling Christopher it's probably because they already know nobody can beat them! The two laugh, with Christopher remarking he's right, because nobody in the WWF can beat "Too Hot" Scott Taylor and "Too Sexay" Brian Christopher! They promise to keep taking back their rightful TV time before dropping the microphone and leaving the ring.
Don't miss the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania XV, on pay-per-view! The "Ragin' Climax" is on March 28th!
Break
The RAW is WAR recapped is aired, highlighting the opening segment. Mr. McMahon came out to the ring and announced the punishments of both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin; they'll both have to compete in two separate handicap matches! Suddenly, McMahon's interrupted by WWF Champion the Undertaker. ‘Taker told him he's had enough of all the lies he has given him, and he's tired of being screwed over by his actions. He promised after defeating Stone Cold at WrestleMania, he'll go after the McMahon family to make him pay! Shane McMahon cooled the two of them down, reminding them the only way they can get rid of Stone Cold is if they work together. Fast forward to the main event, Austin is taking on Boss Man, Steven Regal, and Rikishi Phatu in a handicap match. The match ends in a no contest as the Undertaker drives a hearse into the arena, followed by him assaulting the number one contender! As he tries to stuff Austin in the hearse, Kane's revealed to be in the back, and he attacks members of both the Corporation and Ministry! As everyone else is distracted, Austin stuns ‘Taker, throws him in the back of the hearse, and drives off!
After the video ends, Michael Cole announces they have an update on the situation. While they do not know what happened between the champion and challenger after the show ended, they do have exclusive footage of what did happen set to air tomorrow night on RAW is WAR!
Jeff Hardy(w/Matt Hardy) def. Christian(w/The Brood): The feud between two of the WWF's hottest young tag teams continued tonight in the form of singles action. Jeff finished Christian off with a Swanton Bomb, which didn't set too well with the rest of the Brood.
Immediately after the victory, Edge and Gangrel slid into the ring. Matt followed, and the four men left standing had a face off in the center of the ring. The two parties exchanged words back and forth before Matt snapped and pushed Edge back. Edge responded with a sharp jab, which caused Jeff and Gangrel to exchange fists as well. While the four men brawled in the ring, Christian finally got back up, aiding his partners in the fray. The Hardys held their own despite the numbers disadvantage, but we didn't get to find out who would be the winner of the fight as officials poured out from the back to break up the fight. Some escorted the Hardys from the ring while the other tried their best to keep the Brood at bay inside the ring. The crowd wanted to see the fight continue, but more staff members quickly rushed out to help separate the two teams who are both determined to prove why they deserve the next shot at the World Tag Team Championships.
Up next in our main event, Mankind battles "Double J" Jeff Jarrett of the Corporation!
Break
Catch the brand new WWF SmackDown!, featuring all your favorite superstars of the World Wrestling Federation, debuting April 29th!
Mankind def. Jeff Jarrett(w/Debra & Rob Van Dam): There seems to be some dissention among the ranks in the Corporation, as Van Dam and Jarrett could not get along a week before WrestleMania. Things escalated when the referee was down and RVD hit the ring. He went to nail Foley with the chair, but he ducked, and ended up whacking Jarrett instead! Foley dumped him from the ring before locking the Mandible Claw in on Jarrett. As the referee woke up, he counted the three to award Mankind the victory.
Much to the approval of the jam-packed crowd, Mankind's announced as the winner. Debra scolded Van Dam on the outside before tending to her boyfriend. As Foley celebrated his win, the Acolytes hit the ring! Mankind quickly grabbed the chair from before, resulting in a standoff with the tag champs. Suddenly, the Rock's theme hit to a huge pop from the crowd, but as he stepped out on the stage, Rikishi Phatu assaulted him from behind! This distracted Mankind long enough for the Bradshaw to nail him in the head, sending him back towards the corner. The tag team champions beat on him with strikes for a few moments before dragging him to the center of the ring, hitting a huge Double Powerbomb! Rikishi laid out the Rock with a Superkick on the stage, HeAT coming to a close with the Ministry standing tall!

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 15th March 1999...Nearly at WrestleMania XV! It's interesting looking at your card, and how much it differentiates from real life. I love it. Nice way to kick things off with the Corporation in the ring, laying down the match card for the night. Very atypical, as we approach Mania in under two weeks. Not a lot else to add, but I liked the collisions between Mr McMahon and The Undertaker. It got the Ministry of Darkness involved in the mix, an alliance between the Corporation and the Ministry is a non-chalent step towards the Corporate Ministry - although I doubt that you'll be going in that direction. Anyhow, the Big Show getting a victory over Gangrel was fine in the opening contest. I'm still interested in this battle of the titans with Vader and Paul Wight, although I personally believe that Show has this one won, as Vader's been around for three years now, and it's time for him to pass the torch. Vader seemed to be in worse for wear in this segment, shall be interesting how you continue to build this, with Vader seemingly injured. Sean Waltman with a win against Billy Gunn was fine, although personally, this D-Generation X and New Age Outlaws feud doesn't really interest me too much. One thing I'd love to see you do in 1999 is establish X-Pac potentially as a strong upper-carder. He was so underrated here. Heck, same with Billy Gunn really. And of course Triple H will most likely get the build-up. I see DX winning come WrestleMania. Hahah, Chris Jericho and Hardcore Holly? Owen Hart and The Godfather? What bizarre combinations, but nonetheless, effective in promoting the two storylines. I sort of feel like Owen and Jericho's feud has fizzled out a bit since their rivalry started before the Royal Rumble. I do like how you have the Rock 'n' Sock Connection formed with the Rock and Mankind - I also like how the Acolytes are their rivals going into WrestleMania - it establishes Bradshaw and Faarooq effectively...but I feel like Rock and Mankind MUST win no matter what, in order to continue being over going into the spring. I think that Rock's been underutilized so far, personally - and I feel like he's in for a big summer this year, potentially. The Acolytes defeating the Rock is fine I suppose, and I liked the aftermath as well. Ha, Steve Blackman and Al Snow's inclusion was well done, I enjoyed this six man affair. I hope Al is able to get somewhere higher than the WWF Hardcore Championship in 1999. Val Venis defeating Ken Shamrock was nice, following the Corporation's involvement. The WWF Intercontinental Championship division is packed, with Jeff Jarrett and Rob Van Dam being included in the picture as well. Much tidier than the real life IC title scene around this time, though. I could see RVD winning at WrestleMania, and therefore being thrown out of the Corporation. That could end up being a fun little angle. Nice comeuppance angle with shenanigans from the Outlaws with DX. Why is this show themed with hot dogs and making burgers? It's sort of strange. D-Lo Brown defeating Andrew Martin was fine, I liked the finish with Goldust's interference. It made him look strong, although I feel like Brown has this one in his favor. Too Much's shenanigans was random, I didn't see why they were around. Barbecues in March? What on Earth? Heh, nice promo for the women as it includes Sable and Jacqueline, alongside Luna Vachon. Hahaha, the Head of the Women's Division - I forgot about that completely. Jerry Lawler being in charge means that we're bound to see a lot of horny, stimulating, COMPETITIVE match-ups for sure. Ah, the debut of the bra and panties match is coming...joyous. It's sort of sad that the women don't have a match for them at WrestleMania. I remember the emphasis they put into Sable and Tori's feud going into WrestleMania...ignoring the shoddy match, it was a cool feud. Stone Cold Steve Austin facing the Big Boss Man, Steven Regal and Rikishi Phatu was a classic scenario of "Vince Hates Austin". A solid aftermath with members of the Corporation and the Ministry - I liked Austin stealing the Undertaker, that's really funny. I'm wondering where this will go. A solid show going into WrestleMania, as your hype vehicle is in full gear. Excited to see more.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 21st March 1999...Hopefully we'll see some follow up on Stone Cold Steve Austin kidnapping the Undertaker tonight. On with the show, as the Dudley Boyz defeated two-thirds of the Mean Street Posse. It was what it was. I hope that if the Posse fizzle out quickly, that Joey Abs sticks around - being the only actual worker of the group, anyhow. And so the Dudley Boyz debut the tables...I wonder how long it will be before they debut the Tables match. I hope you save that for pay-per-view, and not an episode of RAW is WAR, like the Bra and Panties match. People would pay more money for pay-per-view! Although, I see your point, with it being during the Monday Night Wars and WWF still wanting to be full of steam ahead of WCW. I hope that after WrestleMania, the light heavyweight division branches out from being strictly a part of HeAT, and actually makes it onto RAW every now and again. Oh, so now Too Much are into the Scorpio and Rey Mysterio Jr affair...it makes their RAW is WAR appearance even more questionable. Too Much will have to either divide soon, or move onto the tag team division soon, as the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship picture is starting to become stale, I believe. Up next, Jeff Hardy defeating Christian was nice, as we resume the Hardy Boys and Brood feud. I wonder if you plan on having their historic Ladder match at No Mercy or not. I could see it happening sooner. And finally, Mankind defeating Jeff Jarrett was fine, in a decent yet slightly subpar episode of HeAT...I expected some big hype for WrestleMania to go down tonight, with there only being one episode of RAW is WAR remaining prior to WrestleMania. I suppose not. Either way, it gave some good focus to the Acolytes and Rock 'n' Sock Connection feud - the Acolytes with momentum? Hmm, that'll change come WrestleMania. A subpar edition of HeAT during such an important time...but nonetheless, I assume you're saving it all for the final episode of RAW is WAR before WrestleMania XV. Good work, looking forward to the big event, and the fallout, especially.

I'm going to have to apologize to you, Pengy. I haven't been replying to this at all, and have really not been keeping up. Don't take it personally, though, I've been doing it to a lot of people. Looking back on all of your stuff so far, however, WrestleMania looks pretty juicy. Love that you're going with The Undertaker vs Stone Cold at WrestleMania, and it really raises an eyebrow as to who would win with the streak not being noteworthy of it being significant quite yet. The rest of the card for Mania looks really swell, and I'll be getting right back into this.

WWF @ Albany, NY - Pepsi Arena - March 22, 1999 At the top of the broadcast a video package plays, highlighting the opening segment from last week. Mr. McMahon came out to the ring and announced the punishments of both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin; they'll both have to compete in two separate handicap matches! Suddenly, McMahon's interrupted by WWF Champion the Undertaker. ‘Taker told him he's had enough of all the lies he has given him, and was tired of being screwed over by his actions.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us to RAW is WAR live from Albany, reminding us how we are only six days away from WrestleMania XV live on pay-per-view! They hype up how tonight we will see exclusive footage of what happened after RAW went off the air last week when Stone Cold kidnapped the Undertaker. Meanwhile, in the ring, we will see Owen Hart finally get his match with Chris Jericho; Jacqueline defending her Women's Championship against Ivory in a "Bra and Panties Match"; and the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection teaming up with Steve Blackman to take on Hell's Henchmen in a Hardcore Six Man tag!
After the commentators are finished hyping up the show, the theme of Ken Shamrock hits as the "World's Most Dangerous Man" makes his way out for our opening contest. Meanwhile, a replay shows the Corporation interrupting his Street Fight with Val Venis last week, giving Val the victory. Back in the arena, Val's theme hits to a mixed reaction from the Albany crowd, and he comes out with Ryan Shamrock on his arm! Ken flips out and tries to leave the ring, but is stopped by the referee. As Val enters the ring, Shamrock lunges after him. but the referee remains between them, not allowing them to exchange blows.
Intercontinental Champion Val Venis & Ken Shamrock(w/Ryan Shamrock) def. Jeff Jarrett & Rob Van Dam(w/Debra): Neither team seemed to be on the same page tonight, as Shamrock wanted to rip of Val's head and the Corporation couldn't get along. In the end, Jarrett accidentally nailed RVD with the guitar, allowing Val to hit the Money Shot for the win!
Before Val could celebrate, Ken charged into the ring and tackled him the ground! He pounded away at his skull with shot after shot, the referee trying his best to pry him off. Shamrock didn't respond to this too kindly, planting the official with a huge belly to belly! This momentary distraction allowed Val to get up and we officially had a fight on our hands! The two brawled back and forth as RVD confronted Jarrett on the outside, shoving him. Jarrett tries to tell him it was a mistake, but RVD doesn't seem so convinced. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Ryan did her best to stop the fighting between her brother and Val. As Ken threw Val out of the ring, she stopped him from heading out and causing any more damage. She tried to reason with him as RAW is WAR went to a break; the Intercontinental Championship picture is in total chaos!
Break
JR and Jerry Lawler welcome us back to the broadcast, introducing us to a replay of the brawl that transpired before the break. Following that, they remind us of how Stone Cold kidnapped the Undertaker at the end of the last show. As promised, the footage off what happened off the air is shown.
The hearse's shown making its way through the arena as we can hear that the crowd is still in a frenzy from the brawl going on in the ring. Staff members and personnel dodge Austin's reckless driving, as he runs over lights, wires, and other equipment. As the hearse makes it way out to the parking lot, Austin stops. He gets out of the driver's seat and heads to the back, opening it up so he can lay some more shots into the WWF Champion! ‘Taker tries fighting back, but Austin just slams the door right on his head! Austin flips him off before looking around the parking lot, finally setting his eyes on a production truck. He heads on over and opens the door, climbing in. He tries to start it, and it seems like he's going to ram it right into the hearse! Before he can follow through on his plan, however, the Acolytes appear from out of nowhere and try ripping him out of the truck! Austin kicks them away before jumping out from the driver's seat and tackling them to the ground! He does his best to keep both men down, but Al Snow hits him from behind with Head! Rikishi Phatu also arrives on the scene, leveling the number one contender with a Superkick. The Acolytes get back up on their feet, grabbing Austin and driving him into the side of the truck! Meanwhile, Paul Bearer's shown at the scene with a rope as Undertaker is finally up again, ordering his henchmen to drag Austin over to the hearse. Once they finally get there, the Acolytes take the rope from Bearer and tie it to the back of the hearse. From there, they tie the other end of the rope around Austin's ankle and ‘Taker gets in the hearse! They're going to drag Austin using the hearse! Suddenly, security rushes out, trying to stop the Ministry from going through with this. They don't take so kindly to this, and the Jackyl orders them to take the security guards out, but this distraction buys Austin enough time to free himself! As the Ministry continues to hammer away on security, ‘Taker exits the hearse to see what's going on, only to be ambushed by Austin! "The Texas Rattlesnake" shows no mercy, throwing the champion's through the window! He follows it up by stuffing his head into the hearse before quickly slamming the door into it! ‘Taker is in a daze as blood pours down his face, Austin flipping him off as the footage ends!
Break
Returning from the commercial break, JR and the King recap the wild segment we just saw of the Ministry trying to drag Austin via a hearse, only for Austin to set himself free and leave the Undertaker a bloody mess! They also announce tonight Mr. McMahon wants the Undertaker to shake his hand to make sure they are on the same page for WrestleMania this Sunday!
The theme of D-Generation X hits to unanimous jeers for the crowd, as the commentators reminded us of their match against the New Age Outlaws this Sunday in the D-Generation Xplosion. As they entered the ring, Waltman yanked the microphone from Tony Chimel and told everyone they're pissed off and they have a point to prove, so they are issuing an open challenge to any team in the back tonight! After waiting for a few moments, the theme of the New Age Outlaws hit to a huge pop! The excitement is short-lived, however, as it's just Gerald Brisco dressed as Road Dogg and Pat Patterson dressed as Mr. Ass! Hunter sarcastically remarks "Oh no! It's Rockabilly and the Roadie!" Patterson and Brisco mock the Outlaws' typical introduction before Briscoe warns them they're gonna do it diggy doggy corporate style tonight!
D-Generation X(w/Chyna) def. "The New Age Outlaws": This match was a joke, but DX wrestled like Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were actually in the ring. The match came to an end after Waltman nailed Brisco with a superkick, which Triple H immediatly followed up on with a Pedigree.
As Hunter and Waltman celebrate their victory, the theme of the Outlaws plays again, and this time the real Billy Gunn and Jesse James hit the ring! DX wastes no time in bailing from the ring, retreating back up the entrance ramp. The Outlaws invite them back into the ring, but the invitation is declined. Gunn turns around and notices the stooges behind them, pointing the two out to Road Dogg. He turns around the two share a smirk, the stooges begging with them not to do anything. They try to run out of the ring as well, but they're yanked back into the ring. The Outlaws waste no time as Gunn hits Patterson with the Fameasser and Road Dogg connects Shake, Rattle, and Roll on Brisco! Gunn caps off the assault by mooning the stooges, the OUtlaws sending a clear message to DX just days before WrestleMania!
Don't miss the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania XV, on pay-per-view! The "Ragin' Climax" is on March 28th!
Break
The European Champion, D-Lo Brown, is shown strutting backstage when he bumps into his tag team partner, Mark Henry. D-Lo exclaims he's happy to see Mark, because he needs him in his corner for his title match this Sunday! Mark tells him he can't, because he just wants to be with Ivory come WrestleMania. D-Lo shakes his head, telling Mark to get over her, reminding him he's "Sexual Chocolate"! Mark doesn't seem to buy it, so D-Lo makes him a deal. He says if he gets Ivory to meet him on Sunday, then he'll be ringside for his match with Goldust. Mark smirks and says he's got a deal, D-Lo letting out a sigh of relief as he goes off to find Ivory.
A replay from Sunday Night HeAT is aired with Too Much interrupting Rey Mysterio and Scorpio's match, laying both men out with the Light Heavyweight Championship.
WWF Light Heavyweight Championship: Rey Mysterio def. Brian Christopher(w/Scott Taylor) VIA Count Out: Mysterio and Christopher were given a few minutes to put on a good match, where Mysterio almost captured the title after landing a hurricanrana from the top rope, but Taylor pulled his partner out of the ring and the duo walked off!
As Too Much started heading up the ramp, they're stopped by Scorpio and TAKA Michinoku! They're chased down the ramp until Rey Mysterio leaped over the top rope, taking down all four men in one shot! As the other four men laid motionless on the ground, Mysterio got up to his feet and picked up the Light Heavyweight Championship, raising it in the air to the approval of the crowd.
The broadcast heads to the outside, where Stone Cold Steve Austin's shown arriving to the arena. While he's walking towards the entrance, he stumbles across a Coors Light truck. Suddenly, the driver hops out and approaches Austin, asking for his autograph. Austin tells him he's a little busy right now, but he'll give it to him later if he can do him a favor. The driver agrees, telling him he'll do anything he needs. Austin smirks as we head to a commercial break.
Break
An advertisement aired, hyping up the WWF WrestleMania Rage Party this Saturday night, airing on the USA Network!
In the Corporate locker room, the stooges are shown icing their wounds as Shane McMahon confronts his father, Vince. He asks Vince if it's really a good idea to be confronting the Undertaker tonight after what happened last week with Stone Cold. Vince assures him everything will be fine, before saying he needs to make sure the two of them are on the same page come WrestleMania on Sunday so they can CRUSH Stone Cold! Shane smirks and nods his head, but lets him know he'll be coming out to the ring to have his back! Vince agrees, but demands to know what he plans to do about Kane tonight. Shane tells him he's hatched a plan with Boss Man and Regal, saying Kane shouldn't be much of an issue after tonight! Vince says that's what he likes to hear and Shane leaves the locker room for the next match.
The Dudley Boyz def. Steven Regal & The Big Boss Man(w/Shane McMahon) VIA DQ: It seemed as if Shane McMahon had just laid a trap for the Dudley Boyz, as a few minutes into the match the Mean Street Posse hit the ring and it was six-on-two!
The fans in Albany were irate as Shane's Corporate Team and Posse destroyed the former WWF Tag Team Champions in the center of the ring. The beatdown didn't last for long, however, as when Boss Man pulled out his nightstick, fire shot off on the stage! The fans went nuts as "The Big Red Machine" made his way out to the ring, Shane sending his Posse out to meet him on the stage. Kane took them out with ease, leveling Gas and Rodney with uppercuts, while taking out Abs with a big boot. Kane marched to the ring, meeting the Corporate Team in the center of the ring like last week. As Kane does his best to fight off both Regal and Boss Man, Shane McMahon pulls out what looks like a flare gun! Boss Man and Regal quickly head out of the ring, leaving Kane to turn around and get shot in the face! Kane falls to the mat, covering his face, as Shane looks on in shock at what he just did. He jumps from the ring and sprints to the back, Boss Man and Regal following behind him as RAW is WAR goes to a break.
Break
Back from commercials, the commentators introduce us to a replay of the disturbing sight we saw just moments ago when Shane McMahon shot a flare gun at Kane's face. JR suggests Shane McMahon may have made the biggest mistake of his entire life.
Bra and Panties Match; WWF Women's Championship; Jacqueline(w/Luna Vachon) def. Ivory: For the first time ever we got to see the Bra and Panties match, which came straight from the mind of the new Head of the Women's Division, Jerry Lawler. Tori ran out to ringside again, trying to help Ivory after constant interference from Luna, but her involvement only distracted the official. Luna hopped in the ring, helping her tag partner strip Ivory of her clothing.
Luna slides back into the ring, handing her the Women's Championship. Meanwhile, Tori helped Ivory to her feet on the outside, in shock her actions ended up costing someone the championship again. Suddenly, Jerry Lawler stooped up and took a microphone, asking for the ladies' attention. He congratulates Jacqueline on the victory, but says he doesn't know her much longer she'll hold onto that title. He says he noticed the women don't have a match for WrestleMania, and he's not going to let that stand for much longer. He tells Jacqueline she'll be defending her Women's Championship in a tag team match, where the first women to get a pinfall we win the title. She'll be teaming up with her tag team partner, Luna Vachon, to take on Ivory and... the women on the cover of the hottest selling playboy - the same women he hired back just last Tuesday - Sable! The fans go nuts as the other four women are frozen; Sable returns this Sunday at WrestleMania! Lawler gets back on commentary, saying he hired Sable back because ",,,well, do I really have to say it?"
A video package played hyping up the WWF Championship match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker at WrestleMania XV this Sunday. The video highlights all the key moments in their feud, such as Austin being crucified and Undertaker being kidnapped along, accompanied by sound bytes from the two superstars.
Break
Following a replay of Steve Blackman assisting The Rock ‘N' Sock Connection in fighting off Hell's Henchmen last week, we're taken to the interview stage where Kevin Kelly is standing by the Rock and Mankind! Kevin asks them how they are feeling being just six nights away from WrestleMania and stepping into the ring with the Acolytes. The Rock tells him the Acolytes might think they are a couple of tough son of a bitches, but the fact is they are nothing more than a couple of roody poo candy asses with crap smeared all over their chests! He warns them they can try to intimidate the Rock and Mankind, the fact is they are going two on two with "The Great One" and... "The Great Sock" chimes in Foley, as he pulls out the People's Socko again. The Rock rolls his eyes, but before he can say anything else Foley tells him he has a surprise for him. He says he wants to make sure the two are on the same page for this Sunday, so he got them matching attires! Rock tries to stop him as Mankind hands him a ripped up white shirt, a tie, and a Mankind-style mask with sunglasses attached! "The Rock will never, and the Rock means NEVER, put that..." Rock's interrupted mid sentence as Mankind, seemingly not hearing a word the Rock said, simply drops the clothes in his hands and tells him "Have a nice day!" before walking off. Rock rips off his sunglasses, looking at his tag team partner in shock, before shoving the attire into Kevin Kelly's chest.
Owen Hart vs. Chris Jericho Never Got Started: After Owen made his entrance, Chris Jericho made his way out with his security team. "Y2J" stops at the bottom of the ramp, his security making a line in front of him. He grabbed a microphone, but before he could speak, Owen charged at him! Security held him, even going as far as to push him into the ring! Jericho told them to hold him up, smashing the microphone over his head!
The fans in Albany hissed as Jericho's security team threw Owen's body back into the ring. Jericho raises the microphone, telling Owen he does not deserve to step into the same ring as him. He says he is going to put an end to the Hart family name was and for all, but he doesn't want to do it tonight. He wants to do it on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania! He tells Owen as for tonight, he just wants to show him why he will never forget the name "Y2J" Chris Jericho! The security picks him up again, Jericho laying into him with some hard shots! The fans continue to boo as Jericho tells them to let go, making room for him to connect with an enzuigiri! Unfortunately for Owen, Jericho isn't done yet, as he looks in the Walls of Jericho! He applies pressure until it seems like Owen has passed out, prompting him to let go and pick up the microphone. He tells Owen he doesn't want to just beat him at WrestleMania, he wants to embarrass him. So they will be having a Submission Match! Jericho drops the microphone and leaves the ring, JR yelling about how it was all a setup to weaken Owen right before their real match.
Still to come tonight, the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection teams up with Steve Blackman against Hell's Henchmen in a Hardcore match, and Mr. McMahon wants the Undertaker to shake his hand!
Break
Returning to broadcast, JR and Jerry Lawler discuss the two matches just added to the WrestleMania card tonight, which are Jacqueline teaming with Luna Vachon to defend her Women's Championship in a tag match against Sable and Ivory, and a Submission Match between Owen Hart and Chris Jericho!
After they're finished, we head backstage once more as D-Lo Brown steps into the locker room, the European Champions slung around his shoulder. He sees Ivory's hair poking out from behind the curtain, saying she had a tough loss earlier, but he has a favor he needs to ask her. He talks about how Mark has been kind of down on himself lately, so it would be great if she could.. "you know." Before he can say anymore, however, the curtain is drawn back, revealing it's really just Goldust in a wig! Brown stumbles and nearly trips as Goldust approaches him, putting a finger on his chest. His finger makes its way across the chest until he touches the European Championship, stopping there. He stares yearningly at the title, freezing Brown. Brown soon snaps out of it, slapping Goldust across the face! Goldust responds by blowing into D-Lo's face, then tackling him to the ground! A few referees quickly make their move to break up the fight, taking Goldust out of the room, leaving Brown alone and freaked out.
The WWF Slam of the Week is shown, with the Big Show chokeslamming Vader onto the concrete floor after Big Show's match against Gangrel last week. JR announces he has an update on Vader's medical condition, saying even though he will not be at one-hundred percent, he's cleared to compete at WrestleMania. King says with an injured back and ankle, Vader has no chance of beating the Big Show! "That's why you don't cross the boss, JR!"
The Big Show def. The Headbangers: During this match, a battle royal was announced for Sunday Night HeAT this week, where the winner will get an Intercontinental Championship match next week on RAW is WAR. As for the actual match itself, Show wanted to prove anything Vader could do he could do better, so he challenged the former tag champions to a handicap match. Show win after planting both men with a Chokeslam, covering them both at the same time.
As the Big Show celebrates his victory, clapping can be heard echoing around the arena. The clapping is revealed to be coming from Vader, who's up on the titantron. He congratulates Big Show on the victory, as it seems he's standing in front of the Hudson River. Vader says he hopes he doesn't go looking for anything like his clothes, car keys, or credit card after the match, because he has his bag right here! The fans pop as Vader warns him he better meet him quick, or else his stuff is going for a dive in the Hudson! Show screams "NO!" at the top of his lungs before sprinting out of the ring and toward the back, RAW is WAR heading to a commercial break.

Back from the commercials, the Big Show has finally made it to the Hudson, where he finds his bag laying right besides the river. As he approaches it, Vader jumps out from behind, igniting a brawl between the two! The two rivals trade shots back and forth, with seemingly neither man being able to get the advantage. Finally, it seems like Show has gotten the upper hand as he stuns Vader with a stiff elbow, following it up by grabbing him by the throat! It seems like Show is going to Chokeslam him into the Hudson when Vader fights out of it, connecting with right after right. Eventually, he gets Show to stagger, nearly causing him to fall in. Vader takes a few steps backwards before charging in, spearing Show into the Hudson! Vader floats back up and swims back to the land, where he grabs Show's bag and throws it in anyway! Vader walks away as Big Show pops out, gasping for breath.
Hardcore Match; The Rock ‘N' Sock Connection & Steve Blackman def. Hell's Henchmen(w/The Jackyl): As the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection brawled with the Acolytes in the crowd, Blackman ducked a shot from Head, hitting Snow with the Lethal Kick to get the three!
Even after the bell sounded, the WWF Tag Team Champions and the number one contenders kept brawling until they disappeared from sight. Meanwhile, Steve Blackman celebrate his victory in the ring as Al Snow rolled to the outside, only to be scolded by the Jackyl. Blackman grabbed a kendo stick and invited both men back in the ring, and the two just walked away from him as Snow clutched onto his title, talking to Head. Has Blackman earned himself a shot at the Hardcore Championship with his victory tonight?
Mr. McMahon's shown heading out to the ring with Shane and the Big Boss Man behind him, he calls out the Undertaker up next!
Break
"No Chance in Hell" plays over the PA System to huge heat with the crowd, Mr. McMahon making his way out with his son, Shane, and the Boss Man. Boss Man is with them presumably because of what Shane McMahon did to Kane earlier on tonight, of course. As Vince enters the ring, he's prevented from speaking by the usual "bunghole" chants. Shane tells all the fans to shut up and give his father some respect. Vince thanks him before reminding everyone how in just six nights he will be the Special Guest Referee for the WWF Championship match up before the Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin. "Make no mistake about it, I have every intent to screw Stone Cold over. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I will never allow him to be the WWF Champion again, so you people better get use to it!" That statement ejects a negative response from the crowd, and Vince goes on. He says the Undertaker and himself haven't seen eye to eye in the recent weeks, or ever, so he wants to make sure there will be no issues come WrestleMania. He calls him out and waits for a few moments before the WWF Champion finally makes his way out, surprisingly by himself. As ‘Taker gets into the ring, McMahon extends his hand, saying all he has to do is shake it, then they can move on and end the show. ‘Taker raises a microphone, telling Vince he'll never shake his hand. Vince puts his head down and sighs as Shane has to hold Boss Man back. ‘Taker goes on, saying he doesn't trust McMahon one damn bit. He says after Stone Cold's beaten and dead, there will be nobody to stop the Ministry of Darkness from taking over the World Wrestling Federation. McMahon tells him he'll control this company over his head body, which Undertaker smirks at. Before he can anymore, the Glass Shatters to a huge pop from the crowd! A few moments go by and Austin still hasn't come out, leaving the Corporation and Undertaker confused. Finally, the Coors Light truck drives out from the stage, taking off the WWF logo with it! McMahon begins yelling in the ring, demanding to know what the hell is going on. As the truck pulls up to the ring, Stone Cold climbs out of it, making his way to the top! He has a microphone and asks the crowd "If you're Ready for WrestleMania, GIVE ME A HELL YEAH!" The crowd responds with an emphatic "HELL YEAH" as Austin says he's going to make this short and sweet. "McMahon, you can wish the day will never come again where I'm the WWF Champion, but that just ain't gonna happen. That title belt is coming back to Stone Cold in six nights! As for you, Undertaker, you were gonna try to drag my ass around from the back of a car, so Stone Cold Steve Austin is gonna drag your ass around that ring and beat the livin hell outta ya'!" Austin hops off the truck and heads to the back of it for who knows why as Undertaker dares him to try, saying come WrestleMania he will be the Ultimate Sacrifice for the Lord of Darkness! McMahon goes to speak again, but Austin comes back with a hose, spraying all four men with beer! The fans go absolutely crazy as Austin is giving the Corporation and the Undertaker a beer bath! Much to the pleasure of the crowd, Vince ends up slipping on the beer, and Shane trips over him! Boss Man tries his best to get the McMahons out of the ring, as Austin drops the hose, climbing back up to the truck. He flips off both ‘Taker and McMahon before leaping off the hood, taking the champion down! Austin and ‘Taker brawl as RAW is WAR goes off the air, what a chaotic night in Albany!

Very good go-home show to put the caps on the road to Wrestlemania. All the matches have been built up and you've even added your own twist on some of the stuff that happened in real life, such as the beer bath and Kane getting shot with fire. I'm really excited to see what you do for Wrestlemania and hopefully we see it posted soon!

WWF @ Philadelphia, PA - First Union Center - March 28, 1999 HeAT opens up with a video package played hyping up the WWF Championship match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker at WrestleMania XV this Sunday. The video highlights all the key moments in their feud, such as Austin being crucified and the beer bath from this past Monday on RAW, accompanied by sound bytes from the two superstars.
Following the video package, we're greeted by Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly, hyping up how we are only one hour away from WrestleMania XV! They run down all the huge matches for the Mania card, such as; Undertaker defending the WWF Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin with Mr. McMahon as the Special Guest Referee; Val Venis defending the Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal Four Way; The Rock ‘N' Sock Connection challenging the Acolytes for the WWF Tag Team Championships; and Vader versus the Big Show! Cole also mentions how right here on Sunday Night HeAT, twenty men will compete in the Ragin' WrestleMania Battle Royal for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship!
Cole and Kelly are interrupted by the Corporation's theme, Mr. McMahon making his way out with the Boss Man and the Big Show, getting massive heat from Philadelphia. As McMahon enters the ring, all of the crowd join in on chanting "asshole!" towards the boss. McMahon talks about the rich history of WrestleMania, saying tonight's show will top all expectations set by the previous years. "And you know why? Because Stone Cold is going to get his ass kicked! You people want Stone Cold as the WWF Champion? That's too damn bad!" Vince brings up the fact how Undertaker has never lost at WrestleMania and guarantees that Stone Cold will never be the WWF Champion again, saying there are three reasons why. "First off, tonight's main event will now be a No Disqualification Match!" The crowd pops, as McMahon mutters to Boss Man that "They don't even realize it." Secondly, he says, he has appointed himself the Special Guest Referee to ensure the Undertaker walks out as the WWF Champion. "And thirdly? Because I said so!" The fans boo as McMahon hands the microphone over to Boss Man. Boss Man says tonight Kane is going to learn that justice pays... the hard way! He says Kane thought he could get away with attacking Shane McMahon, but he's in for a rude awakening and some hard times! "You thought that shot from the flare gun was bad, Kane? Just wait until you step in the ring with me tonight!" Boss Man hands the microphone over to Big Show, McMahon nodding in approval of his words. Show takes center stage in the ring, talking about how Vader thought he could get away with embarrassing him on RAW. Show says he's been trying to get the stench of the Hudson River off him for six days! He warns Vader nobody embarrasses him and gets away with it, vowing to not only break his ankle again - but rather every single bone in his body! Show says Vader isn't nearly as tough as he says he is, promising to do what the Corporation should have done a longer time ago. "I'm going to end your CAREER!" McMahon takes the microphone one more time, telling everybody they are in store for a Corporate WrestleMania tonight! Boss Man and Wight approve, clapping as "No Chance in Hell" hits, the fans chanting "asshole!" again as McMahon leaves the ring.
Break
Stone Cold Steve Austin's shown walking into the arena from earlier, almost immediately being approached by Michael Cole. Cole tries to get Austin's response to McMahon's comments early, but Austin tells him to shut it. He says all he needs to know is Stone Cold is going to find the Undertaker by the end of the hour, drag his ass out to the ring, and the beat the living hell outta of him! He says he'll save just a little piece of that sorry son of a bitch for later tonight, just so he's got something to do before he takes back the World Wrestling Federation title. Austin storms off, leaving Cole in the dust.
The Dudley Boyz def. Joey Abs & Rodney(w/Pete Gas): Apparently, Shane McMahon ruled that the Dudley Boyz had to defeat the Posse here tonight to qualify for the Battle Royal later in the show. Joey Abs outshined his partner again tonight, but in the end the Posse took the loss after Rodney's put down via the Dudley Death Drop.
The Dudleyz are announced as the winners to a huge ovation, the former tag champs were over huge in their old stomping grounds. As the former Tag Team Champions celebrated, the fans chanted "WE WANT TABLES!" The Dudleyz did not disappoint, as D-Von went to the outside to grab a table. Bubba also went on the outside, just to grab Pete Gas before he could run away. D-Von slid the table back in the ring as Bubba hit Rodney with some hard shots before tossing him in as well. Bubba soon followed, as now the Dudleyz stalked Gas, with the crowd getting on their feet. Once Gas finally got up, he turned around right into the Dudley Death Drop, sending his body crashing through the table!
The Rock ‘N' Sock Connection where shown making their way through the halls backstage, the announcers promoting that we will hear from them next! Following that, a video package played to hype up their match against the Acolytes for the WWF Tag Team Championships later tonight.
Break
Returning from the commercial, "If ya smell what the Rock is cooking!" echos across the arena, electing a huge pop from the crowd. The Rock and Mankind marched down to the ring, Foley with "Mr. Rocko" on his hand. As they enter the ring, Rock grabs a microphone, saying tonight the Rock and Mankind will step into the ring with the two biggest roody poo candy asses "The Great One" has ever laid his eyes on! The Rock says unfortunately for the Jackyl, Wednesday and Pugsley are going to step in the ring with the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment, and the craziest, toughest son of a bitch to ever walk the earth! Mankind says the Jackyl and the rest of the Ministry think they are immortal and they cannot be stopped, but Mick Foley has taken his trips to hell, faced the worse Satan has to offer, slapped him in his face, and said "Please sir may I have some more!" Before the two can say anymore, the theme of the Ministry hits, prompting the Jackyl and the Acolytes to make their way out. They stop at the top of the aisle, the Jackyl raising a microphone. He tells Rock and Foley tonight they will learn their words will prove to have no merit when they're faced against his Acolytes and are consumed by the darkness! He says they are only stepping-stones for the Ministry in their path to controlling the WWF and consuming all of the life within it! Rock cuts him off, saying "You want to talk about stepping-stones? The Rock says those two jabronis up there are only stepping-stones to the Rock shoving his boot up your ass! As far as the Rock and Mankind are concerned, you can stand up there and talk all the crap you want, you can tell the whole world about your little prophecies and how you plan on consuming the WWF with darkness. The fact is, the only things you three will be consuming is the Rock's fist and that nasty ass sock on Mick Foley's hand! And by the time the Rock is done laying the smackdown, you freaks will see the light as you turn to God, begging him to get the Rock ‘N’ Sock off your candy asses !” Mankind speaks again, telling the Rock that sounds kind of good, so how about they check those roody poos into the smackdown hotel? Rock shrugs and drops the microphone, the two leaving the ring and heading up the ramp! The Acolytes start making their way down, meeting them halfway on the aisle way! The four men exchange shots as Jackyl looks on with a smirk on his face. As the two teams continue to brawl, referees pour out from the back, doing their best to separate them.
Catch the brand new WWF SmackDown!, featuring all your favorite superstars of the World Wrestling Federation, debuting April 29th!
Back in the live arena, officials have finally separated the Rock ‘N' Sock Connection and the Acolytes. It's announced the Ragin' WrestleMania Battle Royal is up next, and competitors such as the Godfather, Steven Regal, Andrew "Test" Martin, Bob "Hardcore" Holly, The Brood, and Mark Henry all make their way out to the ring. The battle royal is up next!
Break
The Ragin' WrestleMania Battle Royal: As the bell rang, about half of the competitors went after Rikishi Phatu and the other half went after Mark Henry. Neither sides were successful, as Rikishi was able to toss out the Headbangers and Mark managed to get Scorpio over the top. Too Much didn't seem too interested in getting their hands dirty here, as they remained in the corner together for most of the match. TAKA Michinoku was the next one to, getting thrown out by Martin. "Test" continued to show more aggression than ever, throwing out Gangrel, Rey Mysterio, and Mark Henry all by himself in addition to Michinoku. Meanwhile, the Hardys and the Brood managed to continue their feud throughout this match. Christian eliminated Matt, and Jeff immediately dumped him out afterwards. Edge charged out Hardy, but the two ended up eliminating each other as they were fighting! The referees rushed over to the teams, ensuring another brawl didn't erupt. As the Brood backed off, the lights went out, and when they came back on the Hardys received a blood bath! Meanwhile, back in the ring, Joey Abs and Rodney of the Posse hit the ring, going after the Dudley Boyz. Bubba and D-Von had no problem fighting them off, quickly tossing them out of the ring. However, this distraction allowed Steven Regal and Bob Holly to sneak up behind them and toss them over the top! On the other side of the ring, Martin, Godfather, and Too Much all worked together in trying to eliminate Rikishi. Holly joined in as well, and in collection they were able to toss out the Ministry member! Martin and Holly wasted no time in going at it, "Test" getting the upperhand after he clotheslines him over the top. Holly held on, but ended up being knocked off by the big boot! As Martin was hung on the top rope, Regal took the opportunity to blast him with brass knuckles, knocking him out of the ring! Martin was livid and had to be restrained as Regal taunted him from the ring, waving goodbye. Meanwhile, the last four were revealed to be Regal, Too Much, and the Godfather. Godfather took a microphone, saying anybody who eliminated himself would get a free Ho for the night! Too Much shared a glance, just before jumping over the top and walking off with the Hos! Christopher said he had his title already and the two headed to the back with huge grins from ear to ear. In the ring, it has come down to Godfather and Regal. The two traded rights and lefts back and forth for a bit until Regal had him against the ropes. He charged, but Godfather pulled the rope down, sending him over the top! The Winner and Number One Contender to the Intercontinental Championship: The Godfather
The Godfather celebrated his victory to cheers from the crowd, Regal kicking over the steel steps in a fit of rage. He storms off as Godfather's remaining Hos dancing in the ring with him in celebration. The celebration is suddenly interrupted, as the feed goes backstage where we see Stone Cold is searching through the arena for the Undertaker. What will happen when Stone Cold finds "The Phenom"? Stay tuned!
Break
Another video package is aired for The Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. This one goes back to their extended history, which includes Undertaker capturing the title at Judgment Day and Austin costing him the title on January Fourth. The video also highlights Stone Cold's five month-long journey to getting his rematch for the title, which included being fired at Survivor Series, being screwed over at the Rumble by Mr. McMahon and the Big Show, and finally beating Paul Wight last month at St. Valentine's Day Massacre to earn the title match at WrestleMania. The video goes over the recent history between Austin and ‘Taker, including McMahon being announced as the Special Guest Referee, Austin being crucified, and the beer bath. Soundbytes from the two superstars are heard, which include Undertaker saying Austin will be the ultimate sacrifice, and Austin promising to drag his a** around the ring and beat the living hell out of him. The video ends with a shot of Undertaker standing tall over Stone Cold, with McMahon's voice saying Austin has no chance in hell of winning the WWF Championship.
Backstage Stone Cold is still on the hunt for the Undertaker, when all of a sudden Al Snow and Rikishi jump him from behind! Paul Bearer watches on, instructing the two on what to do as they throw Austin onto a nearby table. Rikishi begins to choke him out, but Austin gouges his eye with his thumb, sending him back. Austin climbs up on the table, jumping off and taking both men down! He grabs the Hardcore Champion, throwing him head first into a nearby door! Rikishi is back up, however, and he nails Austin with a superkick, the echoing throughout the halls! Phatu yanks him from the crowd and lifts him over his shoulder, but Austin slips out and grabs a nearby pipe, smacking Rikishi in the leg! Rikishi limps around the hall, allowing "Texas Rattlesnake" to crack him over the head with the pipe! Al Snow stalks Austin, waiting for him to turn around before smashing him with Head! Austin is down and Bearer instructs Snow and Rikishi to leave, but he lags behind. He goes over to Austin and mouths off to him, unaware he was poised to strike! Austin grabbed Bearer by the collar, throwing him into the wall! Bearer cried out in pain as Austin flipped him off, taking the pipe again and slamming into his skull! Bearer is knocked out as Austin walks away from the scene, HeAT going off the air with a shot of Bearer, blood dripping down his head!

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 22nd March 1999...Six days away from WrestleMania XV. Excited, am I! Ah, a good change as we actually have a match opening up the show, very good to see. I liked Ken Shamrock flipping out about Val Venis having Ryan Shamrock on his arm, very amusing. Venis and Shamrock being the odd combination against Jeff Jarrett and Rob Van Dam, not bad. I like how dysfunctional everyone in this feud is, we're in for a good four-corner elimination match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. I think Rob Van Dam has a big chance of winning this one. It could be his big breakout as a babyface. Mind you, with the emphasis on Shamrock and Venis over Ryan, I think that Val will either retain, or Shamrock will pick up the victory for revenge on Val and Ken's sister hooking up. Up next, a decent promo with the hearse, and finally some follow up on the Stone Cold Steve Austin kidnapping The Undertaker angle. I liked the exchage, but part of me thinks that this should have main evented the show, as a big final-minute brawl before WrestleMania's main event on Sunday. The Acolytes' involvement was nice, and I liked the blood's involvement as an extra touch. This rivalry is on, but I still think that Austin will win the WWF Championship back, come WrestleMania. Haha, D-Generation X creating an imposterous New Age Outlaws team was amusing, Rockabilly and the Roadie! Great. I think Triple H and X-Pac will get the win on Sunday against Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, but we'll see, I suppose. The Outlaws getting a comeback was good, and I liked Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco's inclusion with this angle. Yay, WWF Light Heavyweight Championship action on RAW is WAR, it's been a while! A good win for Rey Mysterio Jr, but it was strange for Brian Christopher to just decide to walk away. Scorpio and TAKA Michinoku's involvement was alright, but this light heavyweight division having a tag team in it creates some nonsense, me thinks. It'd be more competitive if Too Much simply wasn't a part of the division. Haha, the WrestleMania Rage Party, I almost forgot about that. Will you be doing a write-up for that, then? Hmm. Vince McMahon confronting the Undertaker tonight sounds interesting, I wonder. The Dudley Boyz managing to beat Steven Regal and the Big Bossman by disqualification was an interesting one, as the Corporation and the Mean Street Posse beat down the Dudleys. I liked Kane making a comeback though, was very amusing. Shane hit Kane with a flare gun!? What a development; Shane's getting his ass kicked at WrestleMania. Up next, raunchy Attitude action from the future Divas division, with Jacqueline defeating Ivory in the inaugural Bra and Panties match, retaining the WWF Women's Championship. The aftermath was good, but it's strange to see a tag team match determining the next WWF Women's Champion - classic Vince Russo booking, I see. Ivory and Sable against Jacqueline and Luna Vachon, ha. Where does Tori fit into all of this then? The Rock and Mankind's interview segment was very amusing. I think we could definitely have new WWF Tag Team Champions on Sunday. Hmm, it's strange that you actually almost put Owen Hart and Chris Jericho's blow-off match on free television after so much hype, with WrestleMania six days away. I'm not a fan of that, but it became obvious that you weren't actually going to do that. I'm glad. Goldust playing mind games with D-Lo Brown is hilarious, thinking Ivory is Goldust in the shower. Very amusing segment to say the least. The Big Show defeating the Headbangers was obvious. Finally, in our main event, a big win for the Rock 'n' Sock 'n' Blackman Connection over the Acolytes and Al Snow, quite strange to see Steve Blackman and Al Snow in the main even, but nonetheless, a nice finish given without giving too much away by having Snow and Blackman involved with the finish, and not The Rock, Bradshaw, Mankind or Faarooq. Finally, a massive main event promo with more on the Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin, with Austin coming out with the beer bash on Vince McMahon as he tried to talk with the Undertaker. A great conclusion to RAW is WAR going into WrestleMania XV. I have to say, I'm looking forward to getting past WrestleMania, to finally get through all of the run in finishes and dirty finishes and overly stacked shows. Not to say it'll be much different, but the build-up for WrestleMania is a LOT better than real life was in 1999, and you've done a great job building everything up.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 28th March 1999...Mr McMahon kicking off the show on this big night in Philadelphia for this event...HeAT? Surely nothing bigger, right? A nice promo to set up WrestleMania later on, as we prepare for what McMahon hopes to be a Corporate WrestleMania XV. The statement that Paul Wight sent to Vader pretty much signified that Vader will be making his final appearance perhaps tonight when he faces the Big Show. Will be interesting how this could go down. Stone Cold Steve Austin wanting to get his hands on the Undertaker before the end of HeAT, let alone WrestleMania? Wow, final hype for the main event. The Dudley Boyz gaining retribution on the Mean Street Posse after RAW is WAR this past week was cool, with the Dudleys delivering with the tables and putting Pete Gas through a table. Ha, The Rock and Mankind with one last promo before WrestleMania. I think you're giving too much away with all of this happening on HeAT, an hour away from WrestleMania personally. Nonetheless. The Ragin' WrestleMania Battle Royal is a great way to get everybody not on the card for WrestleMania, included with WrestleMania in some capacity. The Godfather gaining contention to the WWF Intercontinental Championship was interesting...so a heel is expected to win the four corners match tonight at WrestleMania. I'm going with Jeff Jarrett or Ken Shamrock. I like how Steven Regal was the runner up, he must be besmirched. And last but not least, more from Stone Cold, and I liked the big attack by Al Snow, Rikishi Phatu and Paul Bearer, with Austin banishing Bearer effectively from the WWF Championship main event with the Undertaker. Overall, another solid show with perhaps too much hype for my taste, with WrestleMania only an hour away. Good work.

WWF WrestleMania XV - Philadelphia, PA - First Union Center - March 28, 1999 Before the show formally starts, ring announcer Howard Finkel introduces Boyz II Men, who perform “America the Beautiful.”
Following the performance, a video package begins to play. Freddie Blassie is sitting alone in a room, and we can hear his voice. “Time... no beginning, no end... an infinite procession that humbles our mortality But there are moments in life that transcend our fate. Memories crafted by gods among men, who defy time to forget them.” As Blassie is speaking, we see shots of Shawn Michaels winning the WWF Championship, Stone Cold, Andre the Giant, and the Undertaker to accompany his words. “These are the moments that echo through the ages. Always heard, never to grow old. Born of will (Shot of the Rock), christened with blood (Shot of Stone Cold in the sharpshooter, blood pouring down his face), they are a testament to the strong (Shot of Vader), the mighty (Shot of Kane), and the eminent (Shot of the Undertaker). Deities who defy their own mortality (Shot of Mankind jumping off the Cell) to forge an indelible imprint (Shot of Undertaker hitting a leg drop through the announce table) in time. Like the mythic gods of ancient Greece, they may thrill us, inspire us, at times make us angry, but they will never let us forget them. Tonight is their night, their battle, their moment of ultimate sacrifice. For this is their deef, their alter, their chance for divinity. Welcome to WrestleMania, the Showcase of Immortals! As Freddie Blassie gets up and walks down the hall, he opens a double set of doors. A shining light manifests, and it cuts into the WrestleMania logo. We see more clips of Stone Cold, the Undertaker, Kane, Rock, Mankind, DX, Val Venis, and more on a reel of footage next to the logo. After all the clips are finished, the WrestleMania logo appears, and we hear... “WELCOME TO WRESTLEMANIA XV!”
In the live arena, fireworks blast off in the ring and stage. The capacity crowd in the First Union City are going wild as Jim Ross and Jerry “the King” Lawler welcome us to the biggest WrestleMania of all time! JR says things may never be the same again after our main event tonight, because Stone Cold Steve Austin challenges the Undertaker for the WWF Championship with Mr. McMahon as the special guest referee! Lawler talks about how tonight the WWF Superstars, the Corporation, and the Ministry of Darkness will all collide for control of the WWF! He says they don’t really need to say much more, so let’s get the show started! On cue, the theme of European Champion D-Lo Brown hits, signaling for our first match of the night.
WWF European Championship: D-Lo Brown(c)(w/Mark Henry) vs. Goldust: Things have gotten a little bit Bizarre for “Mr. Charisma” as of late, mainly because of “The Bizarre One” himself. Goldust spent weeks sending the Champion messages, warning him that he was coming back. After finally returning to the WWF, Goldust has spent his time harassing the European Champion, even going as far to disguise himself as Ivory so he could get the jump on him. Speaking of Ivory, D-Lo’s other problem is that his partner in crime, Mark Henry, has been smitten her as of late. After Mark was rejected by her, D-Lo has had to fend for himself, which gave Goldust plenty of opportunities to strike. All of this led to where we are tonight, and now Goldust has a chance to add some more “gold” to his collection. The match started off with the two meeting in the center of the ring, Goldust feeling his own body before breathing into D-Lo’s face. The champ didn’t take too kindly to this, slapping Goldust in the face again! It seemed like a repeat of RAW is WAR, and Goldust hit him with a couple of rights, sending him to the corner. Goldust tried to follow up, but Brown slithered out of the ring. Apparently, he decided he already had enough, as he started to head for the back. The challenger was going to allow this, and he was in pursuit of D-Lo. He quickly caught up to him, catching him by surprise and knocking him to the floor. He grabbed the champ and started carrying him back towards the ring as D-Lo yelled at Mark to do something, but he remained still. Goldust threw D-Lo back into the ring, only to me met with a knee to the head and a series of kicks once he climbed in. With Goldust grounded, Brown asked Henry what the hell was he doing. Henry seemed rather unresponsive, and the distraction allowed Goldus to sneak in a small package. Brown kicked out at two, and was nailed with a clothesline once he got up. Goldust remained in control for a few minutes, but when he went for a suplex, Brown countered it into a back suplex! Brown followed up with a snapmare, sitting Goldust in position for Shining Impact! D-Lo was able to take control of the match, and did his best to make sure Goldust didn’t get up on his two feet. He would cut him down with a clothesline or chop block, and if Goldust actually made it to his feet, Brown would hit something like a heel kick. Eventually, it seemed like D-Lo was going for something big, as he set Goldust up on the top rope. “The Bizarro One” fought back, however, stunning D-Lo with a few punches and kick. This allowed him to connect with a bulldog from the top! He quickly went into the cover, but the champion managed to kick out again. Goldust waited for him to get up before hitting him with strike after strike. With D-Lo in a daze, he bounced off the ropes, but was caught with a Sit Out Powerbomb on his way back! D-Lo went up to the top, looking for the Lo Down. He took the leap, but Goldust rolled out of the way! As he tried to regroup, Goldust slid under him, connecting with a huge right! Brown was stunned, allowing the challenger to hit the Curtain Call! He covered, only for Brown to put his foot on the rope! Goldust was enraged, and started arguing with the referee. D-Lo turned to Mark and told him to grab his title, but he refused! D-Lo looked on in shock as his tag partner left ringside, so Goldust took his chances, calling for the Curtain Call again! This time Brown slipped out by a thumb to the eye, then throwing the challenger into the ring post. As Goldust fell back down to the mat, D-Lo climbed to the top, hitting the Lo Down for the win! Winner and Still European Champion: D-Lo Brown
The fans booed as D-Lo was handed the European Championship, “Mr. Charisma” being able to steal one even though Mark left him behind! Two replays were shown, one of Mark leaving D-Lo, and the other was the thumb to the eye which was eventually followed up by the Lo Down. Once the feed went live again, Brown was making his way up the aisle, searching for his tag team partner. Meanwhile, Goldust was livid in the ring, not taking his eyes off Brown for a second.
JR and King introduced us to some footage from RAW is WAR this past Monday, where Shane McMahon and the Corporate Team set up a trap for Kane. Kane had made his way out to save the Dudley Boyz from a six-on-two beatdown, but Shane was waiting for him. He took out a flare gun, that Boss Man gave him earlier, and shot a flare point blank in Kane’s face! As Kane fell to the floor, the Corporation made their getaway, not wanting to deal with the consequences. JR said tonight there would be no running away, and all three of them will have to face the consequences.
The Big Boss Man(w/Shane McMahon & Steven Regal) vs. Kane: This all started a few weeks ago when Kane made his return to the WWF, and Shane assumed he would rejoining the Corporation. Shane was wrong, and he ended up receiving a Chokeslam for his troubles. This enraged the son of Mr. McMahon, who sent the Big Boss Man and Steven Regal after him for revenge. After this match was booked by Shane on Sunday Night HeAT a few weeks ago, Kane continued to be a thorn in the side of both the Corporation and the Ministry. Not only has he continued to attack members of both factions at random, but he also saved Stone Cold from the Undertaker’s clutches twice. Shane looks to finally put an end to Kane’s rampage tonight, and he is answer is the Big Boss Man. Regal is also at ringside presumably to give Shane and his tag partner some extra protection. It was clear from the outset that Kane was consumed by his desire to get revenge, as he immediately went after Shane during his entrance. He chased both him and Regal around ringside before Boss Man came up from behind, whipping him into the ringpost. Boss Man went on the assault, hitting him in the back with a flurry of punches before slamming the head into the steel again. The referee hops to the outside, ordering the McMahon’s bodyguard back into the ring. Boss Man bullies him a little and acts like he’s going to hit him before finally getting in the ring. As the bell hasn’t rung yet, Steven Regal throws Kane into the ring post one more time! The fans boo as Regal rolls his body into the ring, the official calling for the ball, and now the match is underway. Kane is still down on all fours and Boss Man takes advantage, clobbering him with some hard shots, capping it off with a knee to the head. He whips Kane into the ropes and sets up for the back body drop, but Kane comes back at him with a DDT! The fans pop as Kane immediately follows it up with some strikes, one final uppercut sending Boss Man into the corner. Kane charges at him, and Boss Man sidesteps him, causing “The Big Red Machine” to collide with the corner. Boss Man hits the ropes and connects with the clothesline, yet it’s not enough to put him down. He goes off again, just to get caught with the big boot this time! Kane goes to town on Boss Man for a minute or so, hitting him with everything in his arsenal. He finishes it off with a powerslam before signaling for the Chokeslam. As Boss Man gets up, he sees it coming, and quickly drops to the outside to avoid it. As the three members of the Corporate Team meet up on the outside, Kane leaps over the top rope and hits a crossbody, driving all four men to the floor! Everyone is shocked, as it’s not often we see “The Big Red Machine” hitting an outside dive! Kane tosses Boss Man back into the ring and follows, signaling for the Chokeslam again. This time, however, Shane McMahon hops onto the apron to distract the referee! Kane is having none of this, and he grabs Shane by the throat! The fans roar as Kane threatens to Chokeslam him onto the floor, but Boss Man clobbers Kane in the back of the head with his nightstick! Winner VIA Disqualification: Kane
Much to the shock and dismay of the Corporation, the shot from the nightstick had no effect on Kane! Steven Regal quickly hit the ring, trying to help his tag team partner in taking down the monster. It seems to be no use, however, as Kane just pushes them off. As Kane continues fighting the Corporate Team, Shane heads over to where the timekeeper’s area. He grabs a chair and sneaks into the ring, blasting Kane with a leap chair shot! Kane staggers, and the Corporation takes their chance to bail. By the time Kane has fully recovered, the trio have already left the arena. Suddenly, the Phillie Phanatic hopped the barricade and slid into the ring! The fans laughed as the Phanatic danced behind Kane until he turned around. Kane looked at him, confused, but disregarded him and went to chase after the Corporation. This didn’t sit well with the Phanatic, who attacked Kane from behind! His punches did nothing, and now the monster was pissed! He grabbed ahold of the mascot, yanking off his head to reveal it’s Pete Rose! Rose pleaded with Kane as JR reminded us how Kane Tombstoned him last year. Kane did not care for Rose’s begging, and he dropped him with a Chokeslam! Kane stood over Rose and set fire off on all four corners of the ring, as King mentioned there’s always next year.
A video package that featured highlights of last night’s WWF WrestleMania Rage Party aired. Superstars that appeared were among Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Corporation, the Undertaker, the New Age Outlaws, the Rock, Mankind, Val Venis, DX, and more. Also included was the stooges’ quest to get into the party. Because they weren’t on the guest list, Patterson and Brisco tried sneaking into the party in any way imaginable, which included them dressing up in a two-man horse costume. After the video was finished, the camera revealed Isaac Hayes sitting in the front row, who was a huge hit last night!
WWF Hardcore Championship: Al Snow(c)(w/The Jackyl) vs. Steve Blackman: After months of waiting, Steve Blackman would finally get his shot at the “Crown Prince of Hardcore” tonight. About eight months ago Blackman and Snow joined forces, even though Snow would constantly get on his partner’s nerves, especially when he would sign them up for random matches against teams like the Acolytes. One night the Jackyl came to Blackman, offering him to join his ranks, but he declined and decided to stick by his friend Al Snow. Later that night Snow shocked the world by turning on Blackman and joining Hell’s Henchmen. After being powerbombed off the stage by the Acolytes, Blackman was put on the DL. Upon his return, he was able to knock off the champion in six man tag action, earning him this match tonight. At the sound of the bell Blackman charged at his ex-tag team partner, hitting him with rights and some chops. After Snow fought back, it wasn’t too long until both men winded up out of the ring. Al tried to Irish Whip into the barricade, but it was countered and he ended up going into the barricade! Blackman charged at him, taking him over the top with a clothesline. Steve hopped over as well, setting Al up for a powerbomb! The Hardcore Champion saved himself, hitting a back body drop! Steve crashed into the floor as Al quickly made his back towards the ring. As the referee checked on Blackman, the “Crown Prince of Hardcore” lived up to his nick name. He pulled out a chair, a garbage can, a hockey stick, and a table! He threw all of the objects besides the hockey stick in the ring, saving the stick for Blackman. As Blackman finally made his way back over, Al broke the stick over his back! The fans chanted “Let’s go Flyers!” as Al rolled his rival back in the ring. “The Lethal Weapon” was ready for him, however, as he creamed him with the garbage can upon his re-entrance to the ring. Steve set the table up in the corner, leaning it against the turnbuckles before heading back to the outside. He grabbed a Kendo Stick from under the ring, using it to smack Al over and over! He drove the Kendo Stick into the leg a few times, then the ribs about five times, and finished it off by smacking him in the head about ten times! Al collapsed to the mat, and the Jackyl was starting to sweat on the outside. He hopped on the apron, only to get nailed by the Lethal Kick! The fans popped, but the distraction allowed Al to get up, and Steve got some Head! Al went for the cover, only getting a two. Snow went back to the outside, looking for something under the ring. Blackman grabbed his hair from the ring, only to get smacked by a Gatorade tray! He seemed to be knocked out, and Al ascended to the top rope. He went for the Snowsault, but Blackman got a Kendo Stick up! Al was in some serious pain, and trouble, because “The Lethal Weapon” was back up. As he went for the Lethal Kick, the Jackyl pulled his minion out just in time to avoid the move. Blackman pursuited them, taking the both of them down with a tackle! Blackman rolled Al back into the ring, but was hit with the Snow Plow when he reentered! Al covered again, only getting a two! Snow was livid and he grabbed Head, promising to beat Blackman for her. He swung and missed, allowing Blackman to finally hit the Lethal Kick! He hooked the leg, getting the three. Winner and the NEW Hardcore Champion: Steve Blackman
The fans cheered as Blackman was handed the Hardcore Championship, and this was his first championship victory in the WWF. In addition to that, he finally got his revenge on Al Snow and the Jackyl after being betrayed four months ago. Blackman climbed up to the middle rope, raising the Championship high in the air for all to see. The celebration was short lived, as a man with long black hair slid into the ring. He stalked the new Champion, waiting for him to turn around. Once he did, he was driven through the table by a move that looked like a Spear! Blackman was laid out in the wreckage of the table, and Snow was still out from the Lethal Kick. The man grabbed the Hardcore Championship, raising it above his head. Whoever this is has made it clear he wants the Hardcore Championship!
Backstage in the interview area the New Age Outlaws are asked for their thoughts on the match with DX tonight by Kevin Kelly. Road Dogg simply takes the microphone out of his hand and Gunn pats him on the back. Road Dogg says Hunter and Waltman turned their backs on them two months ago and made this into their world. They tried to get the New Age Outlaws to play by their new Corporate Rules, but tonight it’s all going to change. Tonight they are stepping into the Dogg House and they are playing be their rules! He warns DX tonight they are going to simply kick their corporate asses and prove to them blood is thicker than water. He hands the microphone over to Gunn, who tells DX tonight they are going to do it long, hardy, and nasty! James laughs as Gunn continues, saying tonight is going to be anything but brotherly love in the city of Philadelphia when the New Age Outlaws get their hands on them! “And if you’re not down with that, we got two words for you.” Gunn shoves the microphone back into Kevin’s chest and the duo walk off.
A video package plays, which goes into the deep history between D-Generation X and the New Age Outlaws. The Outlaws were once part of DX, and they were one of the most powerful factions to ever form in the WWF. Together they had held the WWF Championship, the World Tag Team Championships, the Intercontinental Championship, and the European Championship. As time went on, the Outlaws seemed to grow more popular with the fans, and the duo seemed to accept the fans as well. As Hunter and Waltman joined the Corporation, the Outlaws refused to turn their backs on the fan, prompting DX to attack them from behind! The two teams have spent the last two months make each other’s life a living hell, and tonight D-Generation Xplodes!
D-Generation Xplosion: D-Generation X(w/Chyna) vs. The New Age Outlaws: These two teams were finally going to mix it up in the ring again. The Outlaws have spent months trying to get their revenge on DX after being assaulted by them in January for not joining the Corporation. Before the match could begin, the referee ordered Chyna to hit the showers. Hunter and Waltman were livid, berating the referee for just doing his job. Chyna refused to leave the ringside area, so the referee had to call out back up. About six or seven more officials came out and ordered her to the back, “The Ninth Wonder of the World” finally complying and leaving. Now with Chyna gone from ringside, the match could finally being. Hunter and Gunn started things off, “The Game” clearly wasn’t all into it after what just happened. Gunn took advantage of this, easily taking him down every time they locked up. Hunter got frustrated and pushed him, prompting Gunn to unload with a flurry of strikes. Triple H fired right back at him and the two exchanged shots in the center of the ring. The two men continued to go back and forth for quite some time, neither one wanting to give. It became difficult for either man to connect with a move, as they would always find a counter. Eventually Sean got the blind tag and clocked Gunn from behind, giving DX the edge. Waltman followed up with a huge kick before whipping him into the corner. He jumped at him, but Gunn moved, causing Sean’s head to crash into the turnbuckle! Gunn hit him with a hip toss, transitioning it into a neckbreaker! He tagged in Road Dogg, doing a little dance before dropping the knee of Waltman’s skull. James went for a DDT and Sean was able to counter, hitting a Russian Leg Sweep. He got up and bounced off the ropes, landing the leg drop. He tagged in Triple H and held Road Dogg up, but James was able to escape and Hunter clocked his own tag partner! Road Dogg quickly locked in the Sleeper, only for Triple H to counter with a snapmare. Before Waltman went back to the apron, he nailed James with a Roundhouse! The referee tried his best to restrain him, allowing Hunter to hit a low blow! Things quickly went south for DX, as Gunn hopped in the ring, throwing Triple H into the ringpost! As the referee tried to restrain Gunn, Waltman went back in to hit a leaping clothesline on Road Dogg! Both legal men were down as the referee had lost control of the match. Road Dogg was the first one back to his feet and he got the tag into “Mr. Ass” who hit the stinger splash on Hunter in the corner! He went to follow it up with a military press slam, but “The Game” got out, who connected with a chop block and a facebreaker knee smash. He grabbed ahold of Gunn and dragged him over to DX’s corner, where Sean tagged himself in. He climbed to the top, hitting a Missile Dropkick! He went into the cover, only getting a two. He headed back up to the top, but Gunn got back up and stunned him with a right. Gunn climbed up as well, just to get rocked by right for Sean. The two fought on the top back and forth until Waltman signaled for the X-Factor. Gunn stopped him, hitting a hip toss off the top rope! The fans popped as Gunn made the hot tag to Road Dogg, who succeed with Shake, Rattle, and Roll! He went to bounce off the ropes, but Hunter pulled them down! He crashed to the outside and “The Game” followed, throwing him into the steel steps! The referee scolded him as Waltman rolled Road Dogg back into the ring, connecting with the X-Factor! He hooked the leg, but Gunn broke the count up at two! Sean and Gunn started to exchange fists as we could see Chyna making her way down the ramp. The referee was too busy trying to break Sean and Gunn to notice, and Chyna slipped Triple H a pair of brass knuckles. Hunter slid back in the ring and clocked Road Dogg, throwing away the evidence afterwards. Waltman went in for the cover while the referee restrained Gunn. This five-second delay may have helped the Outlaws, as James was able to get his foot on the rope! Meanwhile, Gunn picked up the brass knuckles as Triple H tagged in. He went for the Pedigree, but Road Dogg pushed him into Gunn, who hit him with the brass knuckles! As Gunn got rid of them, James tagged him in. “Mr. Ass” stalked Triple H for a moment, before running at him and hitting the Fame-Ass-Er! He hooked the leg, finally getting the three as Road Dogg took care of Waltman. Winners of the D-Generation Xplosion: The New Age Outlaws
The capacity crowd in Philadelphia went nuts as the New Age Outlaws were announced the winners, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn finally getting revenge on D-Generation X! Chyna watched on in shock, as the brass knuckles she introduced had cost DX the match! Waltman helped Triple H to the outside, both men were livid after their own plan backfired. Just to add insult to injury, Gunn mooned the trio! Meanwhile, Road Dogg took a microphone and began to speak. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages. WrestleMania XV proudly presents to you the winners of this match... the greatest tag team of the ... ‘THE ROAD DOGG’ JESSE JAMES... ‘MR ASS BILLY’ GUNN... THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS!” DX storm out of the arena as the Outlaws continue celebrating in the ring, over twenty thousands fans joining them.
Backstage Mr. McMahon’s Corporation were shown watching the show on a monitor, nobody uttering a word after the last result. Shane McMahon was absent, for obvious reasons. After a few moments of awkward silence, McMahon turned to his faction, saying DX screwed up out there. He warns them he doesn’t want anymore screw ups tonight. He turns to Van Dam and Jarrett, telling them to get their act together because if Val Venis or Ken Shamrock walk out Intercontinental Championship somebody is going to pay. Jarrett says they piss him off, and he guarantees to walk out with the Championship. RVD smirks, telling Jarrett the only man who is going to walk out with the title tonight is none other than “Rob... Van... Dam!” The goons get in between the two as McMahon looks at The Big Show, Paul Wight. He says he has had enough of Vader being in the WWF, his company. He reminds show he promised to end Vader’s career tonight, and he expects nothing less. Show nods as McMahon warns them once again not to screw up, because the one thing he needs to be worried about tonight is making sure Stone Cold Steve Austin does not win the WWF Championship!
“Y2J” Chris Jericho makes his way out for our next contest as JR and King introduce us to a replay of Jericho’s vicious assault on Owen Hart this past Monday on RAW is WAR.
Submission Match: Chris Jericho vs. Owen Hart: Owen Hart has been waiting for this since our last In Your House event in December. Jericho has spent months torturing “The Black Hart”. and Owen could do nothing about it due to the restraining order. A few weeks ago on RAW Owen had finally had enough, and he dressed up as security guard to get to Jericho. After giving him a serious beating, Jericho opted not to press charges. He decided it would be better if he could embarrass him at “The Showcase of Immortal” in WrestleMania. And what better way to do so than make him tap out? For the match itself, the second the bell rang Owen charged at Jericho and took him down. He grabbed his legs and tried to lock in the Sharpshooter already, only to get pushed off. Jericho lunged after him, and Owen side stepped him. He hit him with a few hard shots, sending him back into the corner. He went for the Irish Whip, but held onto his arm, going for the Full Nelson. Jericho slipped out, kicking him in the gut. Owen fell down to a knee, and Jericho connected with a running bulldog. Rather than going for a submission, Jericho decided he would toy with Hart a little. He stomped away at his chest before grinding his boot into his face. Jericho made crude remarks about him as well before slapping him in the face! This seem to reignite Owen, who got back up to his feet and hammered away at Jericho. Jericho tried to run away, but Owen grabbed him while he was between the ropes. He pulled him back into the ring by the legs, looking for the Sharpshooter again. Jericho held onto the ropes tight, however, and Owen was forced to break it. As Owen tried to approach him again, he got nailed by an Enzuigiri! Owen was stunned, and Jericho followed up with a double underhook powerbomb. Jericho then placed his head on the bottom rope, choking him out by stepping on his back and pulling on the top rope! The referee had to pry Jericho off, but couldn’t keep him at bay for long, as he broke free and knocked Owen off the apron, sending him crashing into the barricade. As Owen tried to climb back in from the apron, Jericho looked for the Sleeper Hold, but it was countered into a jawbreaker! Jericho fell back into the ring and Owen quickly slid in, hitting a gutwrench suplex. He wasted no time in going for a submission, locking in a dragon sleeper! The referee went in to ask Jericho if he wanted to submit, “Y2J” refusing. He clobbered Owen with shot after shot until he let go, and once he got up he locked in a submission of his own in the form of a backbreaker. Owen refused to quit as well, slipping out and hitting a dropkick. He climbed to the top rope, but Jericho leaped up and tugged on it, causing him to fall downwards groin first. Jericho climbed up to the top as well, looking for a hurricanrana, but Owen countered and hit a powerbomb off the top! The fans popped as both men were down, what a maneuver by Owen Hart! Jericho rolled to the outside, neither man still unable to get to their feet. Eventually, Owen was able to get back up and he climbed to the apron. He waited for Jericho to get up and he leaped at him, only to go crashing into the announce table as Jericho moved! Owen’s head bounced off the table, Jericho rushing him back into the ring. Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho, and it seems like this one might be over! Owen remained resilient, crawling his way over to the ropes. Jericho was forced to break it, and “Y2J” got in the referee’s face. He warned him to stay out of his way before turning his attention back to Owen. He picked Owen up for the powerbomb, and Hart rolled through to lock in the Sharpshooter! Everyone was stunned by the counter and now Jericho was in the worst position possible! He too proved to be strong, however, and he was able to fight his way to the ropes. Owen tried to pull him off, but he held on tight. The referee pulled Owen off, and Jericho took the opportunity to springboard off the rope and hit a missile dropkick! With Owen down, he went for the Lionsault. Even though Owen got the knees up, Jericho grabbed ahold of them and tried to turn him over for the Walls! Jericho seemed to be a second away from locking it in when Owen pushed him off. Jericho came back at him with a clothesline, but Owen tripped him with a drop toe hold, and he found himself locked in the Sharpshooter again! The fans popped as Owen had it on in the center of the ring, Jericho with nowhere to go. Jericho fought long and hard, staying in the move for what had to be at least twenty seconds. In the end, he had to tap, and Owen Hart had finally defeated him! Winner of the match: Owen Hart
Owen Hart rose to his feet, having his hand raised by the referee. The crowd applauded as Owen as Jericho flopped to the outside. He sat up and leaned against the ring, looking like he’d cry after he ended up being the one who tapped out at WrestleMania. The commentators put over the performances of both men, JR saying Jericho had quite the impressive WrestleMania debut even though he lost.
A replay is shown from Sunday Night HeAT where the Acolytes and the Jackyl confronted the Rock ‘N’ Sock Connection. After the two teams exchanged heated words, they got into a brawl which needed several officials to break up. During the Acolytes’ entrance, the Jackyl has a bruise on his forehead from the Lethal Kick he took earlier tonight.
WWF Tag Team Championships: The Acolytes(c)(w/The Jackyl) vs. The Rock ‘N’ Sock Connection: This feud between these two teams started back at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre pay-per-view when the Acolytes interfered in the main event, costing both the Rock and Mankind the WWF Championship. Rock and Mankind decided they would be two of the many WWF superstars to stand up to the Corporation and Ministry of Darkness, and they set their sights on the Acolytes. Even though the duo are often seen bickering backstage, they have proven to work well together in the ring. The Acolytes have proven to be unstoppable ever since winning the WWF Tag Team Championship, and tonight would be the biggest challenge yet for both teams. Mankind decided he would be the one start out for his team, and he went up against the hard-hitter in Bradshaw. The match started off with Bradshaw clobbering Mankind with hard shots to the skull, yet none of them seemed to faze the former WWF Champion. Instead, he stood there and took every shot without budging. Bradshaw went off the ropes and went for a big boot, only to get taken down by a clothesline. Mankind hit an elbow drop and chased him to the corner, but Bradshaw fought back like a cornered animal. He reversed a punch and threw Mankind into the corner, ramming his shoulder into the mid-section a few times before dragging him over to his corner. The Acolytes made frequent tags, while Mankind decided to stay in the ring to take the beating. Eventually, Mankind slipped out of a powerslam attempt by Faarooq and tagged in Rock. “The Great One” unloaded with Faarooq with right after right, then sending him off the ropes so he could hit a samoan drop! Rock hopped to his feet and nailed the DDT, covering only for a one count. Faarooq reversed an Irish Whip attempt, sending Rock into his corner. He tagged in Bradshaw and the two sent Rock off the ropes to hit a double big boot. Bradshaw picked Rock up, looking for a powerbomb, but Rock slipped out and went for the Rock Bottom! It proved to be too early as Bradshaw knocked him down with an elbow to the head, hitting a fallaway slam afterwards. Rock ducked Bradshaw’s next attempt at offense and tagged in Mankind, Foley coming in hot with a running DDT! With Bradshaw down, Mick climbed to the top, only to be pushed off by Faarooq! The referee scolded him as Bradshaw measured Mankind, taking him down with another big boot. The tag was made to Faarooq, and the Jackyl smirked as it seemed like his Acolytes were in total control now. Faarooq went for a vertical suplex, Mankind countering it into a neckbreaker! This time Mankind knocked Bradshaw off the apron before climbing to the middle rope, connecting with an elbow drop on Faarooq! He hooked the leg for a two count, the World Tag Team Champion kicking out again. With Faarooq down, Mankind reached into his pocket and pulled out Mr. Rocko! The fans popped, and the Rock simply rolled his eyes. As he waited for Faarooq to get up, the Jackyl climbed the apron, and he received a mouthful courtesy of “The People’s Sock”! Faarooq rushed to his manager's aid, delivering hard shots to the back of Mick’s head. He finally yanked him off the Jackyl, and wasted no more time in hitting the Dominator! He covered, but Mankind kicked out at two. Jackyl barked orders at his men, telling them to finish Mankind. Bradshaw got the tag, but he walked straight into the Double Arm DDT! Foley didn’t go for the cover, instead going for the tag on Rock! Faarooq ran in to stop him, and he get leveled by a clothesline! Rock hit him with a spinebuster next, setting up for the most electrifying move in all of sports-entertainment. Every single fan in the Union Center got on their feet as Rock took off his elbow pad. After his usual theatrics, Rock bounced off the ropes, but got caught by the Clothesline from Hell on his way back! Bradshaw went in for the cover, Mankind breaking it up at two! Jackyl ordered Faarooq after him, fearing he may lost his second title tonight. Mankind was able to fight Faarooq off, and he clotheslined him to the floor, taking himself as well! Rock and Bradshaw remained in the ring, and Rock was still feeling the effects of that nasty clothesline. Bradshaw continued to deliver the punishment, locking in a bear hug. The Rock seemed to be fading, so the fans tried to rally behind him. Twenty-thousand strong chanted “Rocky!” as he fought back, getting out of the move with a DDT! The Rock set up for the People’s Elbow again, this time it connected! “The Great One” stalked Bradshaw, looking for the Rock Bottom. Faarooq climbed the apron, but was yanked off and put in the Mandible Claw by Foley! Bradshaw was helpless as he was hit by the Rock Bottom, Rock getting the three! Winners and the NEW WWF World Tag Team Champions: The Rock ‘N’ Sock Connection
The arena practically explode at the three count, the Rock ‘N’ Sock Connection have won the World Tag Team Championships! The Jackyl is irate on the outside, as all his clients have lost their respective championships tonight. The referee hands the Rock and Mankind their championships, the screen nearly turning blue due to all the camera flashes once they raise the titles in the air. The Rock and Mankind take turns climbing each turnbuckle as the screen turns to black.
The inaugural WWF Backlash comes to you live on pay-per-view April 25th. Don’t miss the fallout from WrestleMania XV!
Before the Intercontinental Championship match begins, Big Punisher was shown in attendance, enjoying the biggest WrestleMania of all time! Following that, the commentators remind us of the Godfather's victory in the Ragin' WrestleMania battle royal last night, and how he will receive a title shot against the winner of this match tomorrow night on RAW.
WWF Intercontinental Championship: Val Venis(c)(w/Ryan Shamrock) vs. Ken Shamrock vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Jarrett(w/Debra): These four men have been at each other’s throats ever since Val Venis won the Intercontinental Championship from Triple H in January. Ken Shamrock still believes he is the rightful Intercontinental Champion after being screwed three different times, and Shane McMahon sent RVD and Jarrett after Venis to make sure they got the title off him. Initially Venis and Shamrock worked together to fight the Corporation, but tensions started to arise when this match was announced. Val decided he needed to get in Shamrock’s head before this match, and did so by flaunting his sister, Ryan Shamrock, around on his arm. Things really escalated when Ken caught the two of them, well you know, and a brawl erupted between him and the champion. The Corporate Team has been dysfunctional lately too, as in recent weeks they’ve both accidently cost each other matches. This match started off with Shamrock lunging at Venis, hitting him a fury of strikes. Jarrett and Van Dam attacked both men from behind, dumping Shamrock out of the ring. RVD held Venis up as Jarrett worked the body, as it seemed like the two were on the same page for now. They went for a double suplex, but Venis blocked it, hitting a double DDT! He grabbed RVD and whipped into the corner, Van Dam using the momentum to bounce off and nailing him square in the jaw with a kick! Shamrock was back in, and he connected with a belly to belly. Jarrett got back up, also receiving a belly to belly, and then there was one for Venis! “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” focused on the champion, looking for the Ankle Lock. Val pushed him off, sending him back out of the ring with a dropkick. Jarrett takes Val out from behind with a chop block, then putting him down with a vertical suplex. He begins to work the leg, setting up for the Figure Four, but Shamrock grabs him from the outside and pulls him to the floor. Shamrock hits another belly to belly, this time on the floor, and slides back into the ring. Val is waiting for him, and he hits a DDT from the middle rope! Val stands over his rival and gyrates, unaware RVD is back up! He turns around and gets clocked by the spinning heel kick, falling straight onto Shamrock. With the two stacked on top of each other, RVD shrugs and hits a double Rolling Thunder! He covers Shamrock, only getting a two. Val grabs him from behind and spins him around, planting him with a Spinning Spinebuster! RVD seems to be in the perfect position for the Money Shot and Val heads to the apron, only to have his feet swiped by Jarrett! Jeff throws him into the barricade and slides into the ring, where he gets hit with a dropkick from Shamrock! Shamrock follows up with a German Suplex, and he signals for the Ankle Lock. He gets it in, but RVD also immediately takes him down with a springboard tornado DDT! With Shamrock down, Van Dam heads to the corner and hits the split-legged moonsault! Meanwhile, Val is back in the ring and he hits him from behind. He throws him into the corner, where RVD blocks his punches and turns it around. He tosses Val into the turnbuckle, rocking him with a few rights before sending him flying with a monkey-flip! He tries to do some more damage to the champ, but Shamrock cuts him off with a hurricanrana, sending him out of the ring. With the Corporation finally out of the ring, Ken turns to Val, applying the Ankle Lock! Val screams out in pain as he tries to make his way to the ropes. He seems to be getting closer, but Shamrock grapevines it! As both men are down on the mat, “Mr. Monday Night” ascends to the top, landing the Five Star Frog Splash! All three men have been taking out by the move, RVD trying his best to get to Shamrock. Suddenly, Jarrett comes from out of nowhere, hooking the leg! Rob pulls him off, and the two start to argue. As they shove each other back and forth, Val gets up, taking them down with a double clothesline. He dumps RVD from out of the ring, but Jarrett trips him and locks in the Figure Four! Val is able to turn it over, however, getting “Double J” trapped in a reverse figure four! Debra rushes over to them and tries to pull her boyfriend towards the ropes, but Ryan tackles her to the ground! A catfight has broken out at ringside! Meanwhile, in the ring, Shamrock breaks up the submission and yanks Val off the mat. He holds him belly to belly, delivering some headbutts before hitting another belly to belly. Shamrock roars and it looks like he’s calling for the end when RVD slides back into the ring. He stuns both when with a wide vary of kicks and punches, then springboarding from the corner, taking both men down with a diving crossbody! He is the only man left standing in the ring and the fans in Philadelphia cheer him on with chants of “RVD!” as he heads to the top. He signals for the Five Star again, but he’s knocked off the top with a guitar shot from Jeff Jarrett! The fans jeer as Jarrett looks down at his stablemate, Jerry Lawler wondering what that was for. As Jarrett heads back into the ring to work over Shamrock, Val climbs to the top rope. Jeff goes for the Stroke, and it’s blocked by Shamrock, who lifts him up and drops him onto the top rope. He falls out of the ring as Shamrock notices at Venis and charges, stunning him with a forearm smash. He climbs up to meet him, but is taken down as Ryan enters the ring and hits him with a low blow! Val quickly regroups and hits the Money Shot, stealing the win! Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Val Venis
The what might be the first time ever, the jam packed crowd unanimously boos as Val is declared the victor. JR puts over the fact how both RVD and Ken Shamrock were screwed over by somebody they thought they could trust. In the ring, Ryan hands Val his championship and the two embrace. Meanwhile, on the outside, RVD gets up and goes after Jarrett! Blood is dripping from his head and “Double J” bails, heading into the crowd. Van Dam goes to chase, only to be cut off by security. In the ring, Val exits with Ryan on one arm and the Intercontinental Championship on the other. Shamrock wakes up and just watches the couple walk up the ramp with his mouth hanging wide open. Once it all sets in with him, we can see his heavy breaths and he screams, Val just looking back at him and smirking.
A graphic appears on the screen, hyping up the Big Show vs. Vader match next. The graphic switches over to a replay from RAW is WAR, where Vader speared the Big Show into the Hudson River!
The Big Show vs. Vader: You could say this match has been in the making since April of last year when Mr. McMahon hand picked Vader to dethrone Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship. Vader failed, and five months later Paul Wight, more commonly known as the Big Show, was introduced to the Corporation. It wasn’t long before Show replaced Vader, and he took him out of action for two months by shattering his ankle. Vader returned at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre and cost Show the title match he earned by winning the Rumble. These two giants have been at war for over a month now, and tonight was the night to end it. The match began with both men trying to show off their strength, and they locked up. Show was able to overpower “The Mastodon” and pushed him to the mat. Show laughed at him, which prompted Vader to get up and rock him with a huge right. This enraged Show, and he swung wildly. Vader was able to easily avoid the moves, and he took Show down with a spinning backfist. The fans popped as Show rolled to the outside, kicking the stairs in frustration. He got back in the ring and the two exchanged shots, Vader eventually getting the upperhand. After some more rights Show was staggering, and Vader ran the ropes. He ran into him full speed and nothing, the giant stood his ground. He tried it again, and this time Show took him down with a shoulder block. Show hit the ropes himself, crushing Vader with a leg drop. He went in for the pinfall, and Vader easily kicked out. Show picked him up and tossed him into the corner, hitting him a few times to keep him at bay. He backed up and went for a splash, only for Vader to move. Vader hit the ropes again, this time charging at Show and taking him down with a dropkick! “The Mastodon” was showing no sign of injury tonight! He stomped away at Show’s chest, who was helpless to the onslaught of his rival. Vader was out for revenge and he continued to hammer away at Show until the ref got in between them. Vader didn’t respond to this nicely, and he grabbed the ref by the collar. He cooled down after he realized he was doing, but this misstep allowed Show to take him down with a spear! He covered again, just to get a two count. He picked Vader up, clobbering him with a headbutt. Vader leaned against the ropes as Show pushed him back, hitting him with a few open handed chops. Vader took all of these and pushed him away, yelling at him to hit him harder. Show continued to chop at him, each shot echoing around the arena. Vader took each shot without showing pain, the fans getting behind him for his durability. Show got frustrated and tried bouncing off the ropes to take him down, but Vader met him there and knocked him over with a clothesline. Vader played to the crowd as Show was pissed on the outside, tearing the cover off the spanish announce table! The official ordered Show back into the ring and he complied, Vader smiling as he knew he’d gotten into his head. The two met in the center of the ring, this time it was Vader who pushed him down to the mat. Show was livid now, and he charged full speed at his rival. The two traded shots again, each one harder and louder than the last. This time Vader got the upperhand again. After a few more strikes Show was in a daze, and Vader tried running at him. Show caught him, however, and nailed a back kick! Vader was down and Show decided enough was enough. He grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground. He lifted him up for the chokeslam, but Vader slipped out. As Show turned around, he got hit by another spinning backfist! Wight was down and Vader looked to the corner, calling for the Vader Bomb! Vader splashed him and hooked the leg, but Show was able to kick out at two! Vader pounded on the mat before refocusing as he headed to the top. He perched on the top rope as he waited for Show to get up, then taking him down with a lariat! Vader decided he wanted to do more punishment, so he went back up again! This time he went for the Vadersault, but he missed! Show was able to roll out of the way, and he quickly followed up with a Chokeslam! Show was fired up, so he picked him up again, hitting a second Chokeslam! Apparently that wasn’t enough either, as he grabbed him once more. He scared the referee away before driving Vader into the mat with a third Chokeslam! With Vader’s back already injured two weeks ago, he was helpless when Show went for the pinfall. Much to the displeasure of the fans, the referee counted three this time. Winner: The Big Show
After the bell sounded, the Big Show placed a foot over Vader and demanded the referee to raise his hand. Vader seemed to be out cold as Show left the ring, and the referee seen tending to Vader as the screen faded to black.

Back in the arena, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler announced Paul Bearer will not be ringside tonight during our main event. A replay from Sunday Night HeAT is aired, where Stone Cold Steve Austin was attacked by the Ministry. Bearer had thought Rikishi and Al Snow took him out when he approached him, but “The Texas Rattlesnake” was playing possum. He hopped up to his feet and attacked Bearer with a pipe, cracking his skull and causing him to bleed. JR says Austin may have taken out one part of the equation for tonight, but he still has to deal with Mr. McMahon and the WWF Champion himself, the Undertaker.
WWF Women’s Championship: Jacqueline(c) & Luna Vachon vs. Sable & Ivory: Ever since the WWF Women’s Championship was introduced by former Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, these four have been battling it out for the title. After being screwed out of the title at the Rumble, Sable was desperate to get her title back. She even went as far as to put her career on the line, but was once again robbed of the title, albeit accidentally, due to interference from Tori. The Head of the Women’s Division, Jerry Lawler, made this match on RAW after the announcement of Sable’s reinstatement. Jacqueline and Luna Vachon were introduced as “The Pretty Mean Sisters” during their ring entrance. Sable was the one to start this match out, and she demanded for Jacqueline to start with her. She refused, of course, and Luna attacked Sable from behind. She gave Sable a hard welcome back, dropping her on the top turnbuckle with Snake Eyes. Luna was on the offense for the opening minute of this contest until Sable ducked a clothesline and connected with a martial arts kick. Sable hit Luna with a snapmare, quickly following up with another kick to the back of her head. Sable went for the Sable Bom early, but it was reversed into a back body drop. Luna tagged in Jacqueline, who immediately went for the cover. Sable kicked out and Jacqueline tried running for the hills, but got pulled down by the leg. Sable dragged her to the center of the ring and smashed her with rights. Eventually, Jacqueline was able to slip out and she raked the eyes. Sable fell into retreat and tagged in Ivory, who jumped in and put Jacqueline to the mat with a scoop slam. After a succession of offensive moves, Ivory climbed to the top rope. She was going for the cross body, but Luna pushed her off the top into a dropkick from Jacqueline! The champion quickly crawled in for the cover, only getting a two. She tagged in Luna who continued to punish Ivory, taking her out with a huge powerbomb. She followed by heading up, landing a diving headbutt! She covered, but Ivory was still able to kick out. Ivory was able to get out of a snap suplex and hit a running bulldog before tagging in Sable. Sable immediately locked in a straight jacket on Luna, looking to win the championship back with a submission. Jacqueline put a stop to this, however, illegally entering the ring and knocking Sable over with a heel kick. As the referee restrained her back to her corner, Tori was shown making her way to ringside! Meanwhile, in the ring, Luna got up and made a quick tag into Jacqueline. The Women’s Champ taunted Sable a little bit before slapping her straight in the face. This didn’t sit too well with her, and she tackled Jacqueline to the ground again. After roughing her up a bit, she planted her with the Sablecanrana! She went for the cover, only getting a two. Sable lifted Jacqueline up and went for the TKO, Jacqueline countering with the Tornado DDT! Jacqueline went for the cover again, just for Sable to get her foot on the rope! When Jacqueline tried to attack him, Sable pushed her away and tagged in Ivory before going to rest on the floor. Ivory came in on fire, but Luna distracted the referee while she tried to hit Poison Ivy. Jacqueline was able to push her off and into the corner, the champ then heading to the outside. She grabbed the Women’s title and slid back in, looking to cream Ivory. Tori hopped on the apron, however, stealing the title! As Jacqueline argued with her, Ivory took out Luna and hit sneaked up on the champ, hitting Poison Ivy! She hooked the leg, and three seconds later we had a new champion! Winners of the Match: Sable & Ivory (Ivory is the new Women’s Champion)
Tori hopped into the ring and handed Ivory the Women’s Championship, who was overcome by emotion. She raised the title in the air to a round of applause from both the crowd and Tori. The two embraced in the ring as the camera showed Sable getting up on the outside, who looked on in shock. Nonetheless, she entered the ring and raised Ivory’s hand, and the three women stood tall together. Sable didn’t seem to celebrate as much as Ivory or Tori, and she kept her eyes locked on the Women’s Championship.

Backstage we see shots of Mr. McMahon putting on his referee jersey, Stone Cold preparing for the main event, and the Undertaker making his way towards the arena.
Before our main event starts, a video package plays to highlight the feud between these two megastars. It all started at Judgment Day: In Your House when McMahon forced Stone Cold to defend his WWF Championship against the Brothers of Destruction, a match ‘Taker ultimately won. McMahon spent the next months making sure Austin did not get another shot at the title, which included firing him at Survivor Series and costing him the Royal Rumble Match. Austin finally got his title match by defeating the Big Show at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. We were finally set to get the match six months in the making, but that’s when the Undertaker formed his Ministry of Darkness. For the past month Austin and Undertaker have put each other through hell; Austin was crucified by the Ministry, ‘Taker was kidnapped by “The Texas Rattlesnake”, and on RAW Austin gave him and the McMahons a beer bath. Tonight Stone Cold and the Undertaker will finally go one on one, but with Mr. McMahon himself as the Special Guest Referee!
WWF Championship; Mr. McMahon is the Special Guest Referee; The Undertaker(c) vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin: As Stone Cold made his way up to the turnbuckle during his usual entrance routine, he made sure to flip the boss off one more time before the main event. The Undertaker was alone, of course, due to what Austin did to Paul Bearer earlier on Sunday Night HeAT. When McMahon ranged the bell, the two superstars met in the center of the ring. They shared no words, but rather exchanged glances. Undertaker gave Austin the cut throat taunt, and he responded by giving him the finger and punching him! The fans exploded as the two went back and forth, the main event was officially underway! It didn’t take long for things to escalate here, as Austin got ‘Taker up against the ropes. He took a step back and charged, taking the both of them out of the ring with a clothesline! Austin wasn’t done yet, taking the champion’s head and slamming it against the WWF announce table. He walked over to the spanish announce table and cleared it off, then throwing ‘Taker onto it. He climbed up as well and called for the Stunner, but he was pushed off and put through the WWF announce table! McMahon laughed as Austin was already out, and Undertaker rolled him into the ring. He covered, and Austin was still able to kick out. Undertaker whipped Austin against the ropes, but he came back and hit the Lou Thez press! Austin picked him up and hit a vertical suplex, trying to follow up with a knee drop. ‘Taker moved and hit a reverse STO! ‘Taker learned him up against the ropes, only to get thrown over the top! He somehow landed on his feet, however, and grabbed Austin by the feet. He dragged him out of the ring, throwing him headfirst into the steel steps. ‘Taker then started to drag him up the aisle way and to the entrance stage, but Austin pushed him off straight into the WrestleMania logo! Undertaker was staggering, and Austin back body dropped him straight onto the steel structure apart of the stage. Austin grabbed ‘Taker and started to bring him back down to the ring, but he slipped out and hit a DDT! McMahon told the Undertaker to hurry up and get back in the ring, the champion ignoring him. He placed Austin on the apron before climbing up himself, hitting a leg drop! Stone Cold was down in the ring, and ‘Taker grabbed a chair from the ringside area. He slid back into the ring and waited for Austin to get up, creaming him with the chair! ‘Taker dropped it and went for the cover, once again getting the two. Undertaker shared a glance with McMahon before he grabbed Austin by the arm and climbed to the top. He went for old school, but Austin pulled him off the ropes! Austin quickly grabbed the chair, smashing it into his head! Austin said it wasn’t enough and waited for him to get back up, hitting him once more with the chair! Austin hit the ropes, connecting with his patented elbow drop. He played to the crowd for a bit before focusing on the Undertaker, calling for the Stunner. He kicked the gut, but ‘Taker stopped it, and he planted him with a Chokeslam! McMahon shouted “COVER HIM! COVER HIM!” and the champion wasted no more time. It still wasn’t enough, and Austin got out at two! McMahon groaned as Undertaker went back out to the apron. Austin got up too, though, and picked up the chair. He drove it into ‘Taker’s skull once again, the shot sending him through the spanish announce table! The fans went berserk as Austin dropped to the outside, trying to roll the champion’s carcass back into the ring. As Austin lifted him up, we could see he was bleeding! Austin finally got him back into the ring, and grabbed another chair before heading back in himself. He dropped the other chair as he stalked ‘Taker, finally hitting the Stunner! He hooked the leg, but McMahon refused to count for him! The crowd booed as McMahon just looked down at Austin, shaking his head. Austin got up and got in his face, Vince daring him to touch him. As Austin seemed like he may crack, ‘Taker got up and spun him around, dropping him with the Tombstone! He went for the cover and McMahon quickly dropped down, but it wasn’t enough! Austin kicked out at two! ‘Taker was now the one in McMahon’s face, and Vince tried to assure him he just needed to hit the Tombstone one more time. He picked Austin up again, but this time he slipped out, hitting a neckbreaker! Austin dropped a chair in the center of the ring and grabbed ahold of the champ, looking for a piledriver! He was able to hit the move, unaware McMahon had moved the chair. Austin was confused at first, not realizing what happened until he looked up at McMahon. Vince flipped him off, and Austin clenched his fists. Meanwhile, Undertaker got back up and picked up the other chair, drilling the challenger in the skull with it! Now Austin was the one bleeding and ‘Taker called for the end. He went for the Chokeslam, Austin slipping out, planting him in the mat with a spinebuster! Austin climbed to the middle rope, looking for his elbow drop. McMahon pulled the rope, however, sending him crashing to the mat! Both men were down and slowly climbed to their feet using the ropes. ‘Taker charged at Undertaker, looking for his leaping clothesline, only to get hit with the steel chair in midair! McMahon looked on in shock as Austin dropped the chair and went after him, chasing him from the ring! The chase went all around ringside until McMahon led Austin back in the ring, where he got dropped by the Chokeslam! ‘Taker picked him up again, hitting the Tombstone for the second time! He covered, only getting the two once again. Both Vince and ‘Taker were in shock, and “The Phenom” got in the boss’ face again. Now this enraged McMahon, who told him “You want to threaten me? You want to threaten my family? And you want to get in MY face? Get the job done, dammit!” McMahon then proceeding to slap him in the face! JR and King wondered what the hell he was doing, and ‘Taker responded by taking him out with a Chokeslam! He called out another referee and soon Earl Hebner made his way out to the ring. Austin reversed the third Tombstone attempt, hitting the Stunner! The crowd exploded as he went into the cover, only getting a two! Austin couldn’t believe it and he quickly went for another Stunner, this time ‘Taker got out. He went for the Chokeslam, and now Austin was the one who got out, and he hit him with the Stunner for the third time! He covered, finally getting the three! Winner and the NEW WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin
This was it. After nearly six months of trying to get back his WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin has risen to the occasion and won back the title! The fans were going bonkers as Austin climbed the turnbuckles and called for some beers. He used one hand to gulp them down and the other hand to raise the Championship high in the air. As he dropped back down to the mat, he noticed Earl, and called for two more beers. He handed them to the official, and they chugged them together! Meanwhile, McMahon got back up and entered the ring. He looked defeated and was sluggishly dragging his feet over to the new champion. He kept repeating “Why?” as Austin took a microphone. “You know, as far as Stone Cold Steve Austin is concerned, WrestleMania is just about over, so if you want to see Stone Cold open a can of whoop ass on this sorry son of a bitch, give me a HELL YEAH!” The fans responded with an emphatic “HELL YEAH” and Austin hit him with the Stunner! McMahon was out cold and Austin put a foot over his chest, raising the WWF Championship high once more as WrestleMania XV went off the air.

Post WrestleMania XV Edition
- The reaction to WrestleMania XV backstage has been positive thus far. Owen Hart vs. Chris Jericho and the Intercontinental Championship match were both viewed upon highly. Stone Cold walked out the WWF Champion as expected, but everyone was pleased with the match and felt like it served it's purpose. Perhaps the biggest story out of it was the Undertaker chokeslamming Mr. McMahon, which may lead to a feud between the two. It seems as if the feuds between Ken Shamrock/Val Venis, D-Lo Brown/Goldust, and Shane McMahon/Kane will be continuing past the show. Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Jarrett has been rumored as well, and RVD has been rumored for babyface turn for quite some time now. The DX/Outlaws and Owen Hart/Chris Jericho feuds seem to be finished, but the feuds between the Rock 'N' Sock/Acolytes and Big Show/Vader aren't as clear. One debut that occurred at WrestleMania was that of Rhyno, who drove Steve Blackman through a table following his Hardcore Championship victory.
- A couple of names have been thrown around to work big angles this upcoming Summer. Some of them include Owen Hart, Rob Van Dam, Sean Waltman, Triple H, Val Venis, and Jeff Jarrett. The Rock is also expected for a big push as well. Stars like Austin, Mankind, the Undertaker, and more are expected to work feuds with some of the names listed.
- The inaugural edition of Backlash has been confirmed to be the next pay-per-view as seen at WrestleMania, and it will be live on April 25th. We here at the Battleground can announce the rest of the PPV schedule for 1999 and the start of 2000 is...
April: | WWF Backlash | May: | WWF Judgment Day | June: | WWF King of the Ring | July: | WWF Fully Loaded | August: | WWF SummerSlam | September: | WWF Unforgiven | October: | WWF No Mercy | November: | WWF Surivor Series | December: | WWF Armageddon | January: | WWF Royal Rumble | February: | WWF No Way Out | March: | WWF WrestleMania 2000 |

We've finally arrived at Wrestlemania and it was well worth the journey to get there. Most of the matches were great and had satisfactory endings as well. D'Lo retained the title in an okay match, at least it's better than Shane holding the belt. Don't know if I like Kane vs. Bossman ending in a DQ, even if you're continuing that feud. I see you kept Pete Rose's appearence, though. The Hardcore title match was okay with Blackman winning the belt. A little surprised to see Rhyno make an appearence. HE had some good hardcore matches in 2001 so that should be good. The DX match was good and it's nice to see the Outlaws get the win. Now we see where Triple H and Waltman go from here. Awesome match between Owen and Jericho with the right man going over after everything Jericho did to him. Rock and Mankind winning the tag belts wasn't totally unexpected, now we see what crazy stuff results from this pairing. The IC Title match was okay, a little Russoish with the ending. I guess this is the beginning for a babyface run with RVD. Solid match between Big Show and Vader. I sense this is pretty much the end of Vader's run. Eh, the women's title match was just there. The WWF Title match was great and Austin gets the belt back, ending Taker's Wrestlemania streak in the process. Can't wait to see what's in store for Austin and Taker. Overall and excellent Wrestlemania. Well done!!

Like most diaries on here, it's hard for me to keep up with what's going on. So, I really don't know what is going on all that much, so this could be a bad reply to the biggest show of the year for the diary. For some reason, I really like the choice for the opening match. Brown and Goldust work a certain way that would make me think they would have a really good match.
A flare gun to the face six days before WrestleMania and Kane is still able to compete? That seems like an odd time to have that happen and Kane not selling it for all that long. Not much of a match as you went with the DQ finish. I'd just imagine the point of this is for a Kane/Shane match at some point?
Wasn't all that intersted in the Hardcore Championship match, but Al Snow being associated with Jackyl is interesting. The debut of Rhyno is a little bit puzzling and early. Rhyno was virtually unknown, even in ECW as he hadn't made a splash yet and there wasn't character development for him at that point. He isn't anywhere near what he would become a year or so later... and thus it will be interesting how you promote him. I hope it's not the same character he had in ECW because that wasn't a WWE creation, but rather a Heyman one. He needed that time in ECW, I think.
A good tag team match and it's good to see the babyface team get the win so the crowd can go nuts. This seems like the turning point of the show as maybe the show will go to the next level.
A very good match between Owen and Jericho. That's a match I wish the WWF would've been able to put on and I'm glad you put them on at WrestleMania.
Part of me thinks that having Rock and Mankind in a tag match at WrestleMania XV is a waste of the two men, but then again their involvement against the Acolytes and in the WWF World Tag Team title picture brings more importance to the championships, so in the end I don't mind. I'm starting to think that this is the end of the Corporation and Ministry as the titles change hands here. Seemed like a fine match, as well.
I like the history in the four man match with Venis getting in Ken's head while Shane sent Jarrett and RVD after Venis. I like the dynamic of that. I thought it was interesting that Venis was able to retain the championship. Hopefully Val has big plans moving forward.
It looks like Vader's run in the WWF is over. That's how I'm taking the aftermath of the match. I can't say it would be a bad decision, really.
A great main event and awesome for Austin to regain the WWF World Championship. The Ministry didn't get much of anything on this show, with Show being the only one to win a match for the group it looked like. It looks like a new era is in place for the WWF. Plus, I'd assume Taker is turning face again after the chokeslam on Vince? Guess I should tune into RAW.
Overall, a good show. A lot of babyfaces went over, which seems to be a normal for WrestleMania. Good job, man.

Sadly I've kind of fallen behind a bit in this diary and did plan on replying to the go-home RAW, but I'll go ahead and start following this again with WRESTLE- ing-MANIA! A solid way to kick things off with the European Championship on the line. Nice to see D-Lo Brown retain over Goldust. Mark Henry leaving D-Lo was interesting, though it's a bit weird to see something like that still result in the heel champion retaining. Next up, a decent big man match up. Kane winning via disqualification, normally I'd say that I'm not fond of a dirty finish on WrestleMania, but I'll let it slide 'cause Attitude Era and whatnot. I admire the continuation of Pete Rose as Kane's bitch at 'Mania. Steve Blackman then capturing the Hardcore Championship was fine. I expect that all members of Hell's Henchmen will receive their comeuppance this evening. A Spear from an unknown man?! that s**t. Gore! Gore! Gore! The New Age Outlaws defeating D-Generation X was another expected occurrence. I look forward to seeing everyone involved goes from here, especially Hunter. Next, an incredible Submission match between Owen Hart and Chris Jericho. Owen gaining the victory was expected, but Jericho still looks just as great in his WrestleMania debut. Great stuff. Now for the WWF World Tag Team Championships bout, and the Rock 'N' Sock Connection do it! Quite the feel good moment for the Rock and Mankind to finally dethrone the Acolytes and become champions. I don't see their reign lasting long, though. And at last, a result that actually surprises me. Wasn't expecting Val Venis to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Ryan Shamrock's involvement was fine to orchestrate Venis' heel turn. I'm excited for inevitable Venis/Shamrock and Jarrett/RVD feuds. The Big Show requiring three Chokeslams to put away Vader was pretty insane. A good victory for Show, though. Ivory capturing the Women's Championship was fine, as was the teasing of a match between her and Sable somewhere down the line. And lastly, the main event for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. I kind of expected Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the new champion, but I was never certain. Nonetheless, a great title victory for him over the Undertaker, and the Stunner to Vince McMahon afterwards was the icing on the cake to a great WrestleMania. Very much looking forward to the fallout.

Wrestlemania XV Review: D-Lo/Goldust: A great contest to kick off Wrestlemania XV. Very shocked that Mark Henry left the Champion when he put his title on the line against Goldust. But despite that D-Lo retains the European Championship, so a feud between him and Henry is possibly in the works. Bossman/Kane: A big man matchup here between these two, looked to see Kane get revenge for Bossman hitting him with that flare gun. Loved the end match disqualifaction with The Corporation attacking Kane and Kane also beating on Pete Rose again. Well Pete, there's always next year. Snow/Blackman: ahhh I miss the days of Hardcore. Snow and Blackman for the belt. Great win for Blackman becoming champion but it's RHYNO. GORE!. GORE!. GORE! It seems that Rhyno wants the Hardcore Title too. Maybe you might make the Hardcore Belt 24/7. I would love for that to happen DX/Outlaws: Great win for the New Age Outlaws finally knocking off D-Generation X for good. Maybe Triple H and X-Pac will go their separate ways with X-Pac turning face and Triple H becoming THE GAME!. Owen/Jericho: Finally the end of a feud between Owen Hart and Chris Jericho. A Submission Match. Glad to see Owen get a big victory over Y2J. But i'm wondering if you are going to go with the same angle of the Owen Hart real-life death. Fatal 4-Way Intercontinental Title: Val Venis getting a significant win over three top competitors. But i'm beginning to wonder if Shamrock will turn heel after Val's fling with his sister Show/Vader: This match was nothing short like Andre and Big John Studd. This had to be the wildest feud ever, concrete floor, rivers, but finally this match came to a head glad that Show won. Rock N' Sock/Acolytes: Great to see The Rock N' Sock knock off the Ministry of Darkness to become the Champions of the world. Triple Threat Match: Ivory gets the win WWF Title Match: Ohhh no Undertaker's Undefeated Wrestlemania Streak is finished. Austin broke the streak but it's better with him becoming WWF Champion anyway. I wonder if Undertaker is going to take revenge against Mcmahon and kidnap Stephanie like he did in real-life,
Great Wrestlemania show man, keep it up

Great Mania! The Austin/Taker storlyine was told really well and came to a good conclusion with Vince being his own worst enemy. So is Taker a face now? Good to see the RnS Connection as champs. The other matches were solid as well, but I was surprised to see the Outlaws go over DX. Really I guess I was just surprised to see them go over HHH. Really good show that was worthy of a WM. Looking forward to how the "new year" starts from here.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG BOYZ 2 MEN. I mean, yeah, WrestleMania lets go! Solid opening contest between D-Lo Brown and Goldust with D-Lo getting the cheap win. Interesting decision to go with a disqualification here between Boss Man and Kane, but it does make sense. Hey! Pete Rose! And hey! Bye Pete Rose! Good to see Steve Blackman, but I'm confused with the decision of Rhyno. I like Rhyno, but he isn't that built up in this time and at WrestleMania it just feels odd. Great D-Generation Xplosion match and I'm pleased to see the New Age Outlawz get the win. Good match between Jericho and Owen, with a nice stipulation. Nice to see Owen get the victory, happy to see it. I'm interested in what you will do with him in the future. The Rock N Sock Connection winning the Tag Team Championships is awesome, really glad to see them get the straps. Val Venis retaining the Intercontinental Championship! Oh man, Mr. McMahon is going to be pissed off about that! Big Show beating Vader doesn't really surprise me, Show needs the rub more than Vader needs anything at all. NO, YOU CATCH SMACKDOWN. DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO. Interesting females match for the Women's Championship with a tag team stipulation. Good to see a new champion though. Lastly, a great main event with tons of twists and turns and a great ending with Stone Cold getting the win, and then laying it on Vince. Very nice WrestleMania extravaganza.

WWF WrestleMania XV: Sunday 28th March 1999...Boyz II Men eh? Oh jeez, their soul version of the American National Anthem. Anyhow, nice description with the opening video package, using the original video package as a template with Freddie Blassie's narration. I think that may be my favourite opening for WrestleMania. Hmm, quite a fair but slightly weak opening contest by my book, with Goldust challenging D-Lo Brown for the WWF European Championship. Personally, I'd have had something else open the show, on a stronger note - not stating that Brown and Goldust's feud isn't interesting though - it's just not a worthy opening contest in my book. A good win for D-Lo, I'm surprised to see the match end cleanly, but nonetheless, I like what you are doing with D-Lo; I'd like to see Brown progress up the card by the end of the year personally. He was one of the best workers on the roster in 1998-1999, me thinks. I could see Goldust winning the WWF European Championship down the line, however. Hmm, strange to see Kane in the second match on the card, but nontheless, a fair follow up from the opening contest - albeit I imagine it wouldn't be too grand a match-up. Kane winning by disqualification is fine, with assistance from Shane McMahon and Bossman's nightstick. Kane then overcoming the odds was really nice; and he even got a chance to get his hands on Pete "The Philly Phanatic" Rose for a second year in a row! I'd have preferred to have seen this prior to the match, but nonetheless, cool little addition to the show. Up next, I'm surprised to see Al Snow and Steve Blackman have a match on the card, as last time I checked, they were feuding although not on the card. Nonetheless, sounded like a typical WWF Hardcore Championship match, where hijinks prevailed. Blackman winning the title was nice. I'm just not sure about this match being on the card, personally. Not a bad idea for it to be featured, though. Oh damn, it's Rhyno! I'm not sure about this happening at WrestleMania when it could have easily been saved for RAW is WAR or television, but nevermind. A big impact in Rhyno's WWF debut. And now we get into the upper-tier business, with the D-Generation X faction officially exploding at WrestleMania XV. A big tag team contest, and I liked the drama that went on throughout, but I was shocked to see the New Age Outlaws get the win; but the finish being dirty thanks to Triple H and Sean Waltman's brass knuckles is cool, perhaps setting up a future rematch at Backlash next month. Billy Gunn and Road Dogg then announcing their victory was a nice touch, too. Up next, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Jarrett going through some trouble was nice, hinting at a breakup in the WWF Intercontinental Championship match later tonight. A solid submission match - although I don't think that the stipulation was needed. Although still, a great exchange between Chris Jericho and Owen Hart; it'll be interesting if it continues or not, but hopefully not after all of this build-up, at least. Hart with the eventual win was good, giving the storyline a happy ending on the grandest stage of them all. Following this, a big win for the Rock 'n' Sock Connection against the Acolytes, also giving Bradshaw and Faarooq a big rub; at the same time allowing the Rock and Mankind to have a big win at WrestleMania. I can't see them holding onto the WWF Tag Team Championships for too long, though. My only issue with this card so far is that so many babyfaces have gotten the win and given their respective angle a happy ending closure, by defeating their adversary. Perhaps too many. I hope to see Rock or Mankind re-enter the WWF Championship hunt by SummerSlam, or the end of the year. Up next, I'm surprised at Val Venis retaining the WWF Intercontinental Championship; definitely did not see that coming, and I like the decision. A very well built-up match too, in my mind. Jeff Jarrett screwing Rob Van Dam was expected, and I predict that we shall be seeing RVD branch out from the Corporation very soon following that. Van Dam could be an upper card force to feud with the Corporation by the Summer. Ken Shamrock being screwed by Ryan Shamrock (not in that context) is fine, too. I expect to see Venis and Shamrock continue their rivalry over Ryan. Oh, Venis is a heel now because of this? Interesting stuff, although I would think that Venis' character wouldn't have been booed for this; especially at WrestleMania. Venis was tough to get heat for in 1999. The crowd loved him. Next, the battle of the titans - I would have positioned this a little lower on the card personally, in order to create a nice contrast of uppercard and undercard matches, a variety of importance. Nonetheless, the right man won, I thought. The Big Show beating Vader allows Vader to retire, and at the same time pass on the torch of the biggest man in the World Wrestling Federation, to the younger and more athletic Big Show. I wonder if a WWF Championship run is in Paul Wight's future. A proper rivalry with the Undertaker would be nice! The WWF Women's Championship match was a typical filler bout, enjoyable tag team bout for what it was. Ivory winning the WWF Women's title was nice, as we have a fresh Diva as the champ. Ha, the Pretty Mean Sisters officially debut! I wonder where you are taking the womens division coming from this. No Nicole Bass? Hahah. I think she'd be an amusing muscle to have around for the PMS. Also, Sable being potentially in line for a future shot against Ivory could be good. Additionally, you can bring in womens wrestlers such as Tori (if not already, I forget), Angelica Congeniality (Lita) and Starla Saxton (Molly Holly). Heck, maybe Dawn Marie or other ECW/WCW womens wrestlers. I like booking the womens division, because there are so many things you could do with it. And finally, a storyline-driven main event with Stone Cold Steve Austin overcoming all of the odds and winning the WWF Championship at last, beating the Undertaker and defying Vince McMahon as special referee. My only gripe with this rivalry however, is that whilst McMahon and Austin is a major storyline counterpart here - Undertaker just seems to be "out there". Almost like the Chris Jericho role in the Triple H and Stephanie McMahon rivalry. Nonetheless, a big supercard as expected with WrestleMania, although I'd have re-ordered the card a little and re-arranged some things, but no, and I am definitely anxious to see where you take things from here, with so much to do progressing into the Summer.
