Rough end to a bad fight. Good for Mir, but this didn't exactly light up his stock a whole lot.
If Cro Cop isn't unemployed by morning, I'll be shocked. I love the guy, but that isn't the kind of fight you put on to convince your boss to keep paying you money.

I can see Cro Cop doing a freak show fight or two in Japan if he gets cut. As far as serious competition goes though, he needs to avoid the Liddell/Pulver/Shamrock route.

Very sad to see. Frank had a TERRIBLE gameplan. He could NOT get Cro Cop down and kept trying and got nothing out of it. Good knee though, that was about it. Mirko did good defensive fighting, but I am still VERY confused to see why he's so gunshy. Oh well. Not in a good mood after tonight. People sh*tting all over this card NEED to shut the  up. It was a good night, besides the main event. Guys need to realize that decisions will happen. Who has EVER finished Sherk? Who has EVER finished Lytle? Come on now, guys. There were a lot of tough fighters on the card, it should be obvious. Sherk is a beast for getting out of those chokes. He needs props for that, not disrespect. |

Hey, I'm with you. I enjoyed the fights tonight. My only issues were some of the decisions. Not the fact that they reached a decision, but that the wrong guys won. Stephens beat Guillard. And I like Guillard. Nogueira beat Bader. I am not a big fan of either, so no bias there. I LOVE Matt Serra. And he clearly lost. That was dead on. Main event was a snoozer, but I had so many people over it was still fun. Watching the fight and being able to talk and laugh with everyone makes every fight entertaining. |
