Main event was a sleeper, but that was really it. Bad decisions happen all the time, but hardly any of the fights were "boring".
More of the blame is towards the JUDGES, not the actual fighting.

WTF is up with this shit. So many people on Twitter and other forums saying it was the worst card this year, I loved it, besides the main event, I  ing loved it.

Now people will bitch about getting UFC 120 with no high caliber guys, EVEN THOUGH ITS FREE. People will never be satisfied. Seriously. I've seen people actually debating that it should simply be a Fight Night card. It's.A.Free.Fight.Card. Seriously, just enjoy getting an event for free. And of course people will sh*t all over this card. There was no huge names, and nobody was blasted into oblivion, outside of Cro Cop after a very boring fight. |

Also was it just me or where the fans overly booing, I understand the main event but the rest of the card was great, nothing boring whatsoever .

I will stand by and say the main event was TERRIBLE. Unnecessary stalling and no aggression. The rest of the fights were good to great. Much respect to Lytle, he always brings it. Serra too. He can take a punch or two.

So out of 11 fights I got Four wrong but I consider it Three since Little NOG IMO won.

Let's just forget about the other 75% of takedowns that Nogueira stuffed. Terrible.

It wasn't the best event, but it wasn't crap either. Man people love to complain.
I feel so happy for Chris Lytle right now. Just such a tough guy, huge heart, humble, great chin, good striking, under-rated ground game...he's a real "dark horse favorite" of mine. I know he'll probably never wear UFC gold, but man I'd be pulling for him if he was ever given an opportunity.

Also even though Mir put on a really excrement ty fight I'm still a huge Mir fan, I wanted him to win, I'm glad he won but I really thought Cro Cop would out strike him and I thought he would use the Double Unders to push away more .

The main event. Hmmm. Im a huge Mir fan, he is my favourite fighter. I wanted him to win and was just happy to see him win. However, it wasn't an over exciting fight, but a win is a win.
Like Mir said, he needs to improve his wrestling to create better opportunities for his JJ. CroCop has changed too much in the last few years, he seems to have lost his edge. It seemed last night and in the Pat Barry fight that CroCop didn't want to hurt his opponent. He backed away, threw very little kicks and touched gloves 5 times a round. Why has CroCop got this over respect for his opponents all of a sudden?!
In the end im just happy Mir won. Mir needed the win for his career. In my eyes CroCop is done now, he has had an amazing run, but I think he should just retire on what he has accomplished and not turn into the next Liddell because thats where I can see him going. Chuck too lost the edge and it did nothing for his legacy, so please CroCop, don't spoil yours too.

Yeah, that main event ing sucked last night. It was like both guys didn't even want to be there or somethin'. And it was funny when Rogan was on commentary and he said something like "Someone please do something!!" Because even HE, was getting tired of them not doing anything. I lost $10 on ing Cro-Cop. I gotta pay the guy tomorrow at work. I knew that bet was going to bite me in the ass. And sure enough, it did. And Little Nog got his butt kicked too. He was another one of my picks. Thankfully, I didn't wager any money on that one because I would've lost again. In my opinion, Evan Dunham got ing robbed last night. It was clear as day to me he won that fight, but as Dana White has said many times over, you can't leave it in the judges hands because robberies can and will take place. I also feel Jeremy Stephens got robbed too. I felt he won his fight for sure. And the fight of the night to me, was Lytle/Serra. I hope Lytle picked up another bonus last night because he certainly deserved it after that awesome performance. Overall, it was a pretty good card. It's just too bad the main event ing sucked ass. |
