Nope, couldnt edit the post :/ Anyway, here is my custom Ricky Bobby car. Used the 1:64 diecast as my reference. The sides aren't good enough to post here yet but the front end is perfect IMO.  |

Well NTG '14 has been officially announced. It's releasing in March of next year and Deep Silver takes over publishing rights from Activision. $49.99 price tag.

Hopefully they work on the customization. I really would like the ability to import images/logos for sponsors and possibly even having the generic driver at least wear the same color uniforms (or a solid black) in victory lane. Nothing more annoying then your red/white coca-cola driver gets out of his car looking like he's sponsored by Best Buy

Considering he himself voluntarily decided not to be in the vote, no it won't be Jr. Current matchups are: Kasey Kahne v. Marcos Ambrose Kurt Busch v. Joey Logano Tony Stewart v. Danica Patrick JP Montoya v. Matt Kenseth Jeff Gordon v. Carl Edwards Clint Bowyer v. Martin Truex Jr. Trevor Bayne v. Brad Keselowski Denny Hamlin v. Kevin Harvick 4 of 16 drivers will not be in those cars when 2014 starts so hopefully it's not one of those who wins. |

Seeing the lineups there its gonna be Danica, Gordon or Kahne. Why is Montoya there? The game is gonna use next years cars and montoya is going back to Indycar. Edit: Saw your second post. NASCAR 14 preview video was released today and I have to say I'm disappointed. We have:
-Fake drivers back, something that ultimately became EA Sports' crutch. I really wish developers wouldn't put them in their games.
-Nationwide and Truck drivers mixed back in with Cup. The preview video shows Darrell Wallace Jr and Regan Smith. It looked stupid in NTG 2011, why would you put them back in?
-Essentially the same thing as NTG IL.
God, at least tell me they fixed the damage model.
Since I make video game reviews of all the NASCAR games on YouTube, I'll have to buy it, but I'm gonna wait until its $20 at my pawn shop.

Fake drivers, ugh. And I didn't like the trucks made into cars. At least it's not full retail. $50 is close enough but I wouldn't pay $60 for it.
I'm likely getting a 360 back today, so I'll be able to try it out when it drops.

I did end up getting this last week. It's cool to have an updated game for 2014. Came across a few bugs, and had it freeze up on me once but I have fun on these games. Still working to find the optimum difficulty. Somewhere between 50 and 70%. 50%, I smoked the field at Daytona by some 15 or 16 seconds, and 70%, the AI kept spinning me and no yellow would fly and I'd fall 35 seconds behind the leaders. Qualifying is a tad easy for my liking, thst could use a difficulty boost in a future patch.

So I've started season mode now 3 times. Once with Jr., then restarted with Austin Dillon and then again with Jr. I've won the first 3 races, but they've been battles. At Phoenix, Kyle Busch tried to wreck me coming down the frontstretch to the checkers. He slammed me and I came back at him and he spun and I beat Newman by about one one - hundredth of a second. Up now I believe is Bristol then Auto Club.

They are working on a patch for NTG 14. Changes include:
• Fixes for various freezing issue experienced by some players
• Fix to sound issues experienced by some players
• Changes to aggressiveness of AI to give players greater control over levels
• Tweak to difficulty setting to bring AI closer to selected level (want the full NASCAR experience? Select 100% for real-life scenario or dial down for less intensity)
• Increased yield when lower difficulty level selected
• Adjustment to Darlington and Kansas race lengths
• Fix for pitting issues experienced by some players
• Fix for private lobby issues experienced by some players
• Fix to ensure results achieved are accurately reflected
• Fix for decal / paint issues experienced by some players.
This patch will also include an update to bring in the new qualifying and chase format rules announced early in 2014 by NASCAR and will include all 43 current Sprint Cup drivers. For those playing as Nationwide drivers these cars will remain in game for you to enjoy.
