I know this is obvious but Ive been reading about a lot of people questioning the hair. So just wanted to clear it up and please correct me if I'm wrong. Kane used to have legit long hair until he unmasked. The day of the original unmasking he partially shaved his head to sell the burns. So we are led to believe storyline wise it was a wig all along but in reality he really had long hair. Since storyline was it was revealed it was a wig that allows him to reintroduce the wig.

Who knew Kane would get an 11 page thread in this day and age. I love it.

The mask is back on, which according to the impression I got from people around here, instantly makes him a better wrestler. I've been outspoken on this before, but the mask is truly unnesscesary. His character has no mystery anymore, we all know what he looks like. 2010 proved he could still be successful and relevant in what he did. His rivalries with Edge and Undertaker were great. Agreed. Not sure why putting a mask on suddenly makes him a monster again. Now if he starts to act overly violent, no sells everything and only wants to have a feud with the Undertaker than we have the monster back. Otherwise this is a cheap way to try to pump nostalgia back into the program. I just hope another Undertaker vs. Kane doesn't happen at WM.

The entrance mask is awesome. the new mask is awesome. the black glove is terrifying. the new outfit... looks like something my grandma would have made me when i was 12 and trying to describe Kanes outfit with no pictures. I really hope they revise it to something a little scarier before next monday.

Glad he's back. Now I'm hoping for another World Heavyweight title run.

Gotta agree with you two gents 100% there. Make his gear more like his mask. Or have him appear like he did in the promos

His mask kinda looks like undertaker's 1995 mask.

It was such a cool return, great to see people go nuts when the lights went down, the new music is so AWESOME. The mask looks really really good too. The metal one was a nice twist as well. As for the attire, not 100% sold on it yet but I get the idea that he is supposed to appear 'stitched' back together to be ressurected. Good metaphorical meaning but it doesnt look as great. I quite like having flames on the attire but wish it was a bit more detailed and on both legs aka his 2001 flame attire. I wish his attire had some more red in it as well and it really should have the silver studding he has had on his attire at various points in his career. Who knows, they might improve his attire for TLC or new monday. Its so good to see kane back though and in a mask is a bonus. I just hope they dont ruin it (which there is great potential to do with him facing cena straight up) and they let him be the monster he should be. Hopefully he can get a wwe title run out of it. Im very interested to see where it goes, just hope kanes history of terrible managed storylines doesnt continue.

I know a lot of people may not like the idea, but I'd personally love to see them book Kane as a huge heel monster and just let him destroy everybody. Let him win the WHC and then defend it against Taker at WM 28. Taker would win the belt and retire as the champ with 20-0. I think this would be more interesting than HHH vs Taker again, and although we've seen Kane vs Taker 2 times before, how are ya going to reintroduce masked Kane and not have him wrestle his "brother"?
This would be an epic way to close their longstanding feud, and plus they could set the story easily saying that the Undertaker has unfinished business with Kane since he helped bury him, and their last feud Kane won every match.

Kane is one of the most versatile, most dynamic more long lasting wrestlers in WWE history. He has been able to reinvent himself multiple times ( with minimal time spent in the main event limelight) and recreate himself to be relevant over and over again. The current incarnation of Kane is one of my favorites ! i can't wait to see how this plays out !

I'm not a fan of the entire or the mask. But I understand he can't wear the full mask so I guess this will have to do. I will wait and see how they use him before I make any comments on what I feel about this.

I'm not sold on anything yet. Kane has been the most played out and uninteresting characters for years and until I see something to suggest that is going to change (beyond putting a mask back on), he's still the same old Kane to me.

Here's how I would play this angle out, while keeping my descriptions brief.
-Kane is back, with the mask. Destroys Cena. -Destroys another top star/important name. -There becomes a deep worry within WWE that having this monster around, hurting people, could potentially ruin the company, because everyone is getting hurt. -Triple H tries to stop Kane to save the company, and he's also no match. -In a bit of a different role for him, Undertaker returns as a 'savior' to rid the WWE of what he created, in a sense. -Taker defeats Kane at WM, which writes Undertaker into retirement if he chooses. It would be a 'my business here is done' sort of thing, fitting for his character.
Agh. Anyway. That's just my quick idea.

Hopefully they stop calling him the big RED monster now that he's wearing 90% black.

That's my stance on the return too. Sure, initially it was cool to see all the smoke and mirrors, but it's all about whether or not the Kane character can strive again after the novelty of the new mask wears off.
