Voicebox? Katie Vick? Imitating Hulk Hogan? Dating Tori? Kane-a-roonie? Sure, all those segments in which he still had a mask made me fear him and believe he's a true monster. You have a small point.. But idk how you fit voicebox in there. That was awesome to me. The thought that he couldn't talk on his power made it seem even more like he had been in some sort of disabling accident. And was earlier in his original run. That other CRAP after he returned was the beginning of the downfall leading to an umasking. All of those things besides the voicebox were also done in some form or fashion while he was unmasked. If you can't think back to how he really operated in his original run, voicebox or not, (which he used about 4-5 times).. Blowing things up with his demonic powers. Chokeslamming Taker through the ring. Chokeslamming Show for the first time. Bodyslamming/chokeslamming Viscera for the first time, Paul Bearers promos where he would just stand behind him, glaring into the viewers eyes. Masked Kanes run had far more awesome things to it, than him unmasked. I was there when he electrocuted Shanes sack.. That was about the last cool thing that really happened. And forgive me but if those are the top 4/5 things you think of when you think back to Kanes masked days, then you're either just looking for excuses or you weren't around to see him from the beginning until now. Really, don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the mask, in fact, I do like how he looks with it, I could agree that he looks more intimidating with it (though had he stayed the way he looked like when he first unmasked, that wouldn't have been an issue). What I'm saying is, the mask, while giving a more intimidating look, doesn't mean that he will be the unstoppable monster he should or we would like him to be. |

You guys need to stop arguing about the mask.....the mask has nothing to do with if Kane is seen as a monster or not. Perception is reality, and WWE has made him do some stupid things with the mask on and with the mask off. But arguably, Kane's best and most evil moment cane with NO mask on. Might be the greatest promo in the history of the business. So as long as WWE doesn't book him stupidly, he can be made to look like a monster regardless of what his costume is. For far too long, people have been putting way too much importance on the mask and using it as an excuse. I can take the mask or leave it....but good booking is the key. Damn that promo is amazing! |

Shouldn't the pyro come off after the intro to his theme? Or they let it go from the start to add intense? I still prefer the pyro + theme during the invasion period.

But they love the surprise of the fire going off too much now to let the intro play first.
Honestly if he does the standing in darkness thing as his new entrance it will be great as is.
I hated how his last theme had an intro, but he came out right away before it was done playing.

Another big 2011 moment. 2011's had a ton of good comebacks but Kane returning with the mask had gotta be the return of the year. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
