There, that sums it up nicely. Where in the heck did all of this "banning god" talk come from? I think it's that some don't understand the concept of neutrality.

I didn't have any issues with them wanting neutrality. I guess the way I worded the post was unclear on what I meant. My issue was with the fact that they already pre-programmed into the teleprompter that the vote would be 2/3 nay regaurdless of what the actual vote may have been.

So what's next for Ron Paul supporters? Writing his name in? Voting for Gary Johnson? Choosing lesser of two evils?

Ron Paul supporters will do any number of those things, with the addition of simply not voting.

I'm not really a Paul supporter but also the idea of voting for Romney or Obama makes me physically ill. No idea what I am going to do.

I plan on voting for Johnson at the moment. I'm planning to as well. One of my big problems with him though, is his stance on humanitarian wars. Other than that, I pretty much agree with most of his other views.

I'm pretty sure while doing an interview on CNN before Romney said he didn't care about poor people because there already programs available for them.

Honestly, the only thing I saw him say in there (assuming these are legit) that was controversial was that 47% of Americans think they are victims and are entitled to free stuff from the feds. It's a crass comment and a politically inflammatory comment. His 47% number is no doubt really high, but there's a nugget of truth there. I wish he'd say stuff like that in public. Again, assuming these vids are real as they may not be.

Ever since I've been of legal voting age, I've held firm to the belief that as an undeclared voter, I choose a party in each primary that boasts a candidate that I see fit to run this country. I know the system is devised to vote for someone who can beat the "other guy", but that's not how I see it, and I'm a firm believer in voting by what's right for you, not what's going to achieve the ends of whatever agenda you might support over the person.
It's because of this belief, and only this belief, that I will be voting in the general election this November. Without explicitly stating who I will be voting for, I can say that, given the current system, my vote, which will not be for Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, Gary Johnson, or Ron Paul, will not count in any way, shape or form, but I'll have done right by me, and that's all that matters.
